Chatwins in Newcastle-under-Lyme I've been tod by staff they're closing on April 26th 2025. I'm gutted! Rising costs ! Our town centre is nothing but Barbers nail n vape shopscharity shops!

Had a gingerbread man here. Didn't look very appearing and tasted rock hard. Crap, not coming in here again i'm afraid.

I couldn't taste or detect the extra onions that were supposed to be on the breakfast bap

Just purchased a savoury roll and meat n potato pie along with a fresh cream doughnut. Absolutely delicious. Pastry was perfect and filling very tasty. The doughnut was yom yom.

The breakfast baps were amazing! I’m so pleased to see Chatwin’s on Just eat as Their hot food is quality & also their cakes, especially the vanilla slices!

Best place to get savoury rolls and always lovely customer service. I hope you'll still be selling savoury rolls for many years to come.

Would not recommend, food is average and way overpriced, walk a little up the street and you’ll find a lot better quality for less than half the price

Sadly the order was let down by the delivery. Hot food was barely warm.

We don't live locally but whenever we are in Newcastle Under Lyme we always visit the shop. The cakes are really good, in particular the fruit danish and the Copenhagen slice.

The foods nice and fresh and tastes great.

Decent, high quality food, makes for a nice working lunch but certainly not cheap.

Delightful selection of cakes and baked treats. Always enjoy their fabulous egg custard tarts. Staff are always pleasant and friendly.

Just bought 4 sausage rolls absolutely disgusting looks like they were cooked this morning and then sold to me this afternoon they had fresh ones on the hot plate but the woman who Saved me decided to give me the four scabby ones As I am normally a fan of chatwins but this has really upset me with the quality

Always been in the town. Friendly staff and quality cakes.

Sausage roll was uncooked. Oily pastry and sausage was pink and raw. Chucked it after a bite and £1.50 for the privilege.

Yesterday (08/01/2019), even a week after New Year's Day (and Christmas) they didn't have any muffins. (Were they still selling stale X-mas cakes?)

Best steak pie in town. This Chatwins has not had their refurb yet, but the cakes are nice and staff friendly. Also a fan of the lentil and bacon soup when it's on. Update: the Thai Chicken soup is now the no.1 soup. Nice and spicey...
