This dining experience is worth every penny because it is beautifully crafted & a pleasure to participate. Effortlessly delivered with pure polished class. It’s everything in one - superb food, excellent hosting, ambience. Returning on 27th Oct with ‘foodie’ friend travelling from Leeds to experience this. Can’t recommend enough & feel very lucky to have this on our doorstep.

Absolute hidden gem! This petite restaurant in Stourport is packed with glam and coupled with a very personal service and beautiful food. We went about 3- 4 weeks ago not really knowing what to expect, we were greeted and seated and able to look at the menu in our own time. Such attention to detail in the surroundings coupled with pristine and beautifully laid table, from starched white linen to immaculate spotless cutlery and highly polished glasses - impressive to see these days. We took our own wine and a cool bucket was immediately supplied, I also had some of their homemade passionfruit lemonade..yum. We both had 3 courses, all of which were beautifully prepared from scratch, extremely flavoursome, and superbly presented and served, too busy eating and enjoying to take pics. We couldn't quite believe we could get something as fantastic as this and not really have heard a lot more about it before. Being able to take your own drinks means that what should have been a very expensive meal elsewhere was more affordable as we found the food to also be very reasonably priced for what we had. The host was utterly charming as was his hard working kitchen help nephew, who we were delighted to meet at the end. What a winning combination of all things you would love to get in a local restaurant. Do not miss the chance to try this place - we will be back!

Lovely meal at Chataigne. The chef is very nice and welcoming - this premises is unlicensed but advised us where we could pop to to get a bottle of wine and provided glass wear and soft drinks/water. Meal and courses were all really lovely and thought about - quite rich and filling food - all excellent quality.

My third visit to this contemporary restaurant and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the tastefully decorated surroundings. The service is always first rate - as good as any Michelin restaurant we’ve been to. We will definitely be back soon.

Super fine dining restaurant in Stourport. I am sure you won’t be disappointed with this one. Opened in autumn 2023 has now established itself as one to go to in on towns food scene. Only 20 covers with the chef and owner (Barry) single handed offering a unique experience with him receiving guests, taking orders then as chef delivering fantastic food. Small menu, choice of 3 starters, main courses and deserts, very bespoke, focusing on quality, presentation and a fine dining experience. Great atmosphere and a bonus of not getting ripped off with expensive drinks ( you take your own) Definitely one to try and a great addition to the towns expanding food and drink scene

An absolute must for anyone who appreciates fine dining, without the cost of an expensive setting or the cost of a drinks licence and the drinks. It's ALL about the food, and you can take your own favourite drinks. We enjoyed a Sunday afternoon here, excellent service and excellent food.

Well what can I say but......WOW. Please whatever you do, do not dismiss this restaurant on the preconception that it can't be that good if its in Stourport High Street as you could not be further from the truth. Chataigne delivers not only fantastic food but amazing personal service with an itimate, five star ambiance. Book now before the wait to dine is measured in months, which is already the case with its once monthly taster menu. The fact you can take your own wine is a testament to its desire to serve the finest local produce without ripping you off with extortionate wine prices.

What an incredible meal. Not only did you have a personal experience, where we felt like the only people in the restaurant, but the food was to die for. Absolutely amazing! Will definitely be back.

Well what a treat…..a six course taster menu last night…..and it was superb…..every course was 10 out of a 10….but especially the lobster bisque and the skate wing….what a gem of a place…..superb and thank you

First time visit and won’t be the last. Six course taster menu absolutely superb. Great venue, ambience and service. You have to book well in advance. Service was excellent and amazing that all done in a very small venue.

Excellent food and service with the added value of bring your own alcohol. Amazingly, Barry chefs and waits on you himself and still has the ability to adapt his set menu for allergies. Truly impressive. We have been twice and intend to be regular visitors.

A wonderful dinner with the family. The food was delicious and amazing quality! We were warmly welcomed and the service was excellent.
