Charnock Richard in Chorley

Despite some negative reviews (though not as bad as some other M6 service stations), we tried Charnock Richard, north bound. I’m pleased to say it was fine, although it was quiet when we visited. Easy to park, clean and nice toilets. Our Starbucks drinks and snack were as expected, staff were friendly and we spotted (a) someone cleaning the floors and (b) some blackboards for kids. Also tables were clean and bins weren’t overflowing. Would recommend/visit again.

The diners who eat in this place do not empty their trays after them. No one else picks them up and clears the tables. Breakfast we had was vile. Hash brown was cooked on oil that should have been changed days ago. The place has very bad smelling facilities.

Please forgive me for the following rant! I am confined to an electric wheelchair, which is VERY relevant to this review. My husband and I were travelling north bound after a very long morning. I was in desperate need of both the loo AND food. Imagine my dismay when we entered the facilities to discover the bathrooms on the north bound side of the services at this location (at least downstairs as I couldn’t go up to see if any were available there) were completely partitioned off and unavailable for public use! To add insult to injury there was no lift, but for able bodied people there were stairs or an escalator. Neither were options for myself. When we inquired as to the location of the lift ( surely they would have one seeing as there were restaurants and possibly loos upstairs) we were told we would have to get in our vehicle, go back out onto the motorway then double back on ourselves, getting off on the southbound side, park, the enter the facilities to use the footbridge over the motorway to access the north bound facilities for the upstairs! That would have meant we would then have had to get back onto the southbound motorway getting off at the next available junction to then rejoin the northbound motorway. ALL because welcome break as a company do NOT value disabled people enough to put in a flaming lift on the northbound side of these services! As a disability advocate I was shocked and appalled by the complete disregard for disabled travellers! We will never use welcome break services again. I will also campaign for other disabled people to avoid this company until they can get their act together and treat both able bodied and disabled people with the same level of care and respect! Shame on you welcome break! Do better!

Well presented room that was very quiet, Excellent location for the N West Breakfast selection was v good, well prepared by Dan the chef. Helen was very helpful and all staff were very pleasant and welcoming

Awful location. Followed directions for caravan parking which took me through main car park and unable to find where to park. Was sworn at by coach driver accompanied by a rude one finger salute. Patience please especially from a professional driver. When I eventually managed to park, it was chaos inside, filthy, long queues which seemed to be because of a lack of staff everywhere. One of worst services I have ever stopped at. Will never do so again.

Stopped here for a burger, staff on the burger king desk were working flat out as the place was packed but they kept everything flowing smoothly and we're calm and polite. My burger and cup of tea were perfect, thank you 🤗

Stayed at Ramada Very friendly staff, clean rooms. Chef Kieron makes the best poached eggs for breakfast. We’ve stayed here many times and every time the poached eggs are perfect.

Charged my car and had a quick subway. Did what it said on the tin. Decent services, decent food nice and clean toilets.

Avoid like the plague. What an awful place. Dirty and expensive. We wanted a burger king but the prices were higher than everywhere else and all empty tables were full of uncleaned food and rubbish so had no where to sit unless we cleaned it ourselves... Ended up in Subway.... Do not go to Subway. We had a bad feeling about it when we saw how dirty and mixed the food trays were, but the kids were very hungry and there was plenty of seating available.. My partner ended up on the toilet since and literally stunk out the hotel room we were staying at. Some would say it ruined our holidays, but the smell of diarrhea in a small confined room won't stop these kids so we got on with things. Management needs to check this out.

Went into WHSmith south about 1am, Katie and imi were great very helpful, friendly and great with the kids when they wanted to pay themselves for sweets, shop very clean and tidy. Would definitely stop here again.

The Good Breakfast breaches the Trade Description Act !! The food was very average and far from good value -But as for the service, it was as if we had gone back in time and the single female staff members was reminiscent of the service provided by greasy spoon motorway services we were being offered in the 1970s. No niceties, minimal cheer and a the constant shouting of “toast” or “two traditionals” as the food is shown the heat and served. The toast seemed as anaemic as the servers! Oh, and as for the view from the dinning area ….so grim - see photo.

Charnock Richard services seem to have NO Covid security arrangements in place apart from the hand sanitizer by the main door.The toilets are extremely badly designed and in a pandemic unbearable to use.If you suffer from Covid anxiety please do not visit. You could be left feeling quite traumatized.

Me and my two sons visited here yesterday. We had been many times when it was Harry ramsdens but noticed it has changed to the good breakfast company. So we tried it OMG we wish we hadn't. First of all the lady serving was coughing her guts up coughing into her hand and not washing, the couple in front paid cash and received change from this lady . We paid by card thankfully. I understand everyone can have a cough but due to recent time if your ill should you been in work or better still serving the public? Anyhow when the breakfast was ready we sat down and it tasted awful. Even the kids said daddy this doesn't taste nice before I said anything. It had a weird greasy taste which tasted not nice. We left the majority of it and decided to go. For the best part of 30 pounds there was no toast or even tea included. So please explain how this can be " the good breakfast company". Unfortunately we will not be going back which is a shame as its something we all look forward to on a regular basis when working around Manchester and on the way home.

Went there today 16/08/2021 with friends, my friend got served first and me straight after. My friend got his food and i was left waiting a long time , when i asked why other people were getting served ahead of me i was given no explanation. when i was eventually told my food was ready IT WAS WRONG not my order!!. Due to time constraints i had no choice but to ask for my money back, i was given NO form of apology whatsoever. will never go there again.

Went into Starbucks, whilst heading to Birmingham today. was served by a very cheery member of staff, Justine, who despite the place being busy had time to be chatty and very friendly.Coffee was excellent.All in all a very very good experience, will definitely stop over again.

Had possible the worst sandwich and the driest piece of banana bread ever in Starbucks, won’t be rushing back !

Friendly staff, good food, clean facilites all completely marred by sly, underhand and disingenuous parking fee policy. The signage is barely visible and terms unclear so consequently appears constructed as a money-making operation with threats of physical enforcement. Not quite the "Welcome Break" other signs claim!?

Normally a big fan of Charnock Richards as is always clean and a good range of restaurants. I visited on the 31/10/20 and due to the time and everything being closed, I went to The Good Breakfast. It's "cheap" for a reason, the food quality is pretty bad. However this doesn't even come close to how bad the service I received was, you'd get better manners and customer service from a bloody brick wall, utterly dreadful. Down to this alone I will not revisit. The rest of the service station was as good as always.

Stopped here for my 45 break. Went in and had a breakfast box! Wish I didn't bother. Sounds like you get alot, however what you get is cheap nasty meat. Literally a spoon of beans and 4 mushroom! Bacon looked like it was still on the pig it was that undercooked and it was all cold! Didn't dare to complain because the woman who served me was very miserable and rude when I placed the order! Utter waste of money

It’s a standard service station very small but meets your needs for toilets and refreshments as you would expect from any welcome break. I was there for work meeting and the Costa Coffee staff were polite and friendly I have the PayByPhone app and when I got home realised I may have over stayed the 2 hours and didn’t fancy a fine from the parking eye as they are a very aggressive company. Unfortunately despite the pay by phone app which is meant to store the ‘favourite’ locations I didn’t have the location number so couldn’t pay. I rang WH Smith’s which is open 24/7 but even though they sell car parking tickets had no idea what the location number was and suggested ringing parking eye (who never answer the phone as all automated and just want a reference and payment when they fine you) I rang the hotel who had no idea and also the garage (which also sells car parking tickets. The actually signage is old, poorly lit and hard to locate so certainly feels like a trap to catch people out. So here are the pictures of the only sign I could find (this is southbound but I imagine it’s the same for both sides!) so you will hopefully not have to drive another two hours to save £100. If staying over 2 hours it is £15.20 at time of writing regardless if you are a minute over or an hour. So best to arrange meetings elsewhere as plenty of places not too far if you check out the map Meanwhile Welcome Break needs to look at better lit signposting and maybe the companies they work with could inform their staff as it would certainly be better for the environment and their customers bank accounts

Stopped here for my mandatory 45 minute break. What a disgusting place it is. The truck park smells like a toilet and the infrastructure needs some urgent repairs. I didn’t go into the main building but if the roads and parks are anything to go by no thanks.....Not impressed one bit

Myself and partner had the breakfast box. Vile food, swimming in oil, fried bread hard, bacon was cold.No drink was included in the full breakfast box.DO NOT EAT HERE.

We stopped here for tea, on a 5 hour journey home with kids. The girl at the till who took our order was very inexperienced and didn’t have a clue! She took my name to shout when our order was ready, she never said it once, hence when I went to the counter after waiting about 20-25 mins, I found half our order on the counter cold, and the other half had been taken by someone who had ordered after us. With two young children hungry, and us all just wanting to get home, I was so annoyed! When we got the rest of our order, it was very disappointing, lukewarm, and fish that had just been left sitting so was a bit dry. I am also not convinced we got the portion size we paid for. Found it very expensive for the food we got, will not be back and do not recommend.

We stopped here as we had no choice.We wanted some breakfast and discovered that there was a Harry Ramsden’s which offered breakfast.We just wanted a simple but good sausage bap.What we got was a very small revolting sausage bap for £3.99.The lady in charge was not capable of being in charge and told me that it would be a few minutes. For a sausage bap. There was no queue. The food was ready cooked as we could see it. Incompetent to say the least.The services company and Harry Ramsden should be totally ashamed.We will not visit any of Harry Ramsden’s again as the brand and quality has been diluted by greed and poor quality. Take note.

Just pulled into Charnock Richard services petrol station, got fuel no problem but couldn’t get loyalty points for shell app and also the toilets were not operational which is no good for lorry drivers at all...!!

We stop off at this services to grab a coffee whilst on route to Liverpool. It’s perfectly suitable and very quick. Starbucks is our favourite. The toilets are always clean and we always find plenty of parking available.

My daughter and I like to go to Charock Richard services sometimes to have lunch. Where else can you eat a burger whilst sat above the motorway watching the cars go underneath you?Everywhere is clean and all of the staff are friendly and I really enjoy every visit.The only issue is space. It's just not big enough anymore. While the food service is fast, theres just not enough seating. We're currently sat here at 13:40 and every table is occupied. Would still come back though as we love watching the motorway.

Called on our way to the Lake District for a drink and a snack. Chose Starbucks as it was the nearest to the entrance and we were limited for time.Opted for the cappuccino and toasted fruit toast - service was very good considering it was very busy. We enjoyed the snack which came with butter and jam or honey. Would return.

This motorway service stop appears to be very popular and we have used it numerous times en route to and from The Lakes and Scotland.The toilets were clean which is always good to see.We bought some snacks at Waitrose; my lady's sandwich choice was very disappointing but my seafood one was very good. They had a reasonable choice of sandwiches, but they are a bit pricey which sadly is normal at Motorway Services.We happened to overhear of an instance when people had received a parking fine following their visit to Charnock Richard, so whilst accepting that most drivers are no doubt aware of the UK motorway services parking limitations, we hope no one will be offended if we mention that the usual free parking time limit is two hours, although you can pay and display for a longer period if you wish.It just may save someone a £100 fine.

I recently had problems with a tyre on my car and pulled in to the Charnock Richard Service Area. Unfortunately I was unable to change the wheel (a cheap manufacturers wheel brace kept slipping off the wheel nuts) and to put the spare tyre on to continue on my journey. Unfortunately due to the time of day in rush hour traffic it took more than the maximum 2 hours stay time for a friend to get to me.Parking Eye promptly sent a Parking Charge Notice for £100 discounted to £60 if it was paid quickly, the appeal they rejected stating as a "gesture of goodwill" they would extend the "discounted payment time" by another 14 days but if I chose to appeal to POPLA I would have to pay the full amount because it would take more than the 14 days!Yes I agree the signage is well placed, but the last thing anyone pays attention to on a rainy evening at 19:15 when it's going dark, after working all day and being stranded for more than 2 hours is what time they pulled on to the service area and have they paid to stop there, they are just grateful to be on their way again.My advice, either avoid Welcome Break at Charnock Richard for the unsympathetic attitude of their representatives, or in the event of a breakdown stay on the hard shoulder in order to avoid unrealistic Penalty Charge Notices.

this is M6 motorway service,with everything you need close to Wigan 30 minutes from Blackpool ,Hotel Tesler electric car charge points ..

A good place to stop off for a rest. It is a motorway services area. It was quite clean including the toilet area. As a bonus, if you are a blue light card holder you get a 20% discount at the food places.

The Waitrose at these services have a great “free from” section to keep you going for the journey. Fantastic to have the option there.

The Starbucks cafe to be avoided at all costs , Tea in a thick white builders mug, had a triangular floating t- bag ,which seemed to be full of seed ,wheat, grass, but certainly not tea , vile . With a small piece of stale lemon cake , nearly £ 6 !! A cheese !! toastie £3, 75. made from tasteless plastic cheese . A cold rainy Tuesday, only four customers , now l know why.

A rare occasion for us to stop at the service station and then have a full English breakfast. I'm so glad we did because the breakfast was fresh and exceptionally good. Well done to Jonathan and his female colleague for dishing up a great breakfast. The egg was cooked to my liking and everything was fresh. We didn't have to wait long.

nice clean services, well stocked shops and a harry ramsdens too. bought some nice items from waitrose and had a nice coffee from starbucks, my friend tried the kfc and found it to be as good if not better than his local shop. petrol was a bit on the high side but all services are the same.

I called in as it opened. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and with a coffee for £12 not bad value, The breakfast had cooled by the time I finished, probably due to the open location, on a cool early morning. Not necessary to bother with toast, more than sufficient on the plate. I would stop here again. particularly enjoyed the generous black pudding.

To be fair I only use the Costa machines & the WHSmith shop as the eateries & coffee shop are always so packed full of people but I’ve not found it too bad, but

Waiting for my car to charge I went into the services and picked out Harry Ramsden’s for an all day brunch. HR’s best known for fish and chips and so the chips will be spot on, went the thinking. It says they are double fried - I can believe it, once yesterday and the second may be first thing this morning! Two nice looking fried eggs though - obviously fried in old well used oil. I need a couple of packets of extra strong mints to get rid of the lingering taste. So, so disappointing.

Cold 'cooked' breakfast. Miserable staff. Overpriced toast. Luke warm pot of tea. All for £20!! Don't bother.

Stopped off at Charnock Richard services on the evening of Friday 7th September 2018, our first motorway service stop on a long journey back up to Scotland.

We should have just driven on and waited until we got to Stafford Services. It’s one of the smaller services. Toilets were okish. Food choices a bit below average. The so called “dog walking area” was this pathetically thin strip of grass in the lorry parking lot. Just awful. If you don’t *have* to stop here and want a proper nice break, drive on.

Large fish no bigger than the small fish peas disgusting and tasted like they were a month old, and chips not much better ! Harry Ramadan’s advertise as accepting blue light card discount but they don’t here ?

Orignally I planned to stop here for a Burger King, but ended up going for a Subway instead. The staff there were very friendly, easy to chat to. I got served straight away - and the lady was good enough to repeat what she had said, after I explained I could not hear in one ear. Air-con was a bit strong though.

Whilst old and probably in need of updating it is a good quick service station for a pit stop food and coffee. Well organised if a bit on the small side.

Having been in Manchester on business all morning I was in need of something substantial to keep me going for the rest of the day. Stopped at this services and saw the sign for Harry Ramsdens. With fond memories of the original Harry Ramsdens which is not far from where I live I opted for this over the other choices on offer. Being a good Yorkshire lad I went for the Cod 'n' Chips and Mushy Peas with a hot drink. My order was taken in a rather offhand manner, no eye contact, etc. and money handed over and taken. The two members of staff who served me (why it needed two I don't know) then just walked off into the back of the premises and I was left standing there wandering what to do next. One of the staff came out from the back and made a hot drink and put it on a tray further down the counter from me and walked back behind the scenes with still no instructions or guidance for me as to how to proceed next. After a while both members of staff came out from the back and one proceeded to put some chips on a plate and then a very small portion of mushy peas next to it. The other member of staff then went behind the scenes again and suddenly a freshly fried piece of fish appeared in the hot box on the range and this was transferred to the plate of chips and peas and placed on the tray with the hot drink. It turned out this was my meal and I was invited to use the condiments and then go and sit down. On sitting down I found that the mushy peas were actually cold, the chips looked like they had been fried some time ago and had been kept warm, they were greasy and soft. The hot drink was no longer hot, just lukewarm as it had been standing on the tray for about 10 minutes. On the brighter side the fish was excellent, a decent size portion, well fried. So I just ate the fish, had a sip of the drink and left. For eleven quid I would expect better quality food than this, especially from a chippy, and also I would have liked to have seen at least some customer service, especially as apparently it takes two staff to serve one customer.

Stopped here for breakfast at Harry Ramsden,s. Lovely freshly cooked and good produce. Staff extremely pleasant and cheerful.

Thankfully this is not the first impression a weary traveller into this country gets!

Walk in through the door and be transported back to the 1960s.

I was tired it was midnight and raining so I stopped in the lorry park bit and fell asleep for 5 hrs. No signs noticed as it was dark. Now a £100 parking ticket.

Always lots of queues. Particularly at Kentucky. Subway good. Needs an overall revamp upstairs in the dining part and a good clean. I slipped on the floor.

The moment we stepped inside the doors of this services area we regretted it. The enormous cacophony emerging from the speakers put us off immediately. We couldn’t hear ourselves think, let alone communicate with one another, such was the volume of the din that I suspect was meant to be music. We beat a very hasty retreat.

On way up to lakes with young child. We were hoping to find some good food, maybe a baked potato, salad or pasta. Only hot food was KFC,Burger king, subway or Harry Ramsdens fish and chips. Very disappointed. Would not stop here again

I do like this Moto Service Station I have to admit, not least the auto flushing loos that are heat sensitive saving you from having to touch anything. Ideal therefore for anyone with OCD and of course there's more... KFC, M&S;, WHSmith, Starbucks, what else do you need? Defo a welcome break.

I have to believe in parallel universes if our experience of these appalling services is to be compared to some other reviews.

Stopped off here en route to Scotland. At best can be said to be adequate with us restricting our halt...

Stopped for a quick bite at half eight on a bank holiday Saturday and both BK and KFC were still setting up.Poor show on M6

I don't really like service stations like this , full of fast food and rubbish everywhere. If your desperate stop but if you can move on and find somewhere better.

Stopped for the usual toilet break quite clean, though looking a bit old and shabby. Overall well kept,for the through put each day. Its a handy break on journeys to Shrewsbury. Killington lake is a bit better, but its too near home.

We stopped here for loo break and to grab some milk and something to eat. Subway kept the kids happy but the service was slow. Starbucks was fast at serving and some of the staff were pleasant others especially the guy taking the order was impatient and had attitude. The guy at WH Smith was friendly and jokey. As always not enough loos for ladies - long queue! In the gents, according to the hubby - not enough hand dryers! The service station was kept clean though and it was good to have picnic tables outside to sit at.

One of the better service stations on the M6.Long queues for food, so I bought a sandwich instead.Nice to see prices were not too high in the supermarket part.

Stopped here for a toilet stop going northbound. Services were clean and bright looking. The lift however for accessing upstairs for food was something that looks like it’s from the 60’s, worth a look if you’re into retro. It is a fairly small service station so expect it to be busy over the summer. Having a Waitrose on site is very helpful and makes a change from the usual WHSmith and M&S choices at other services.

I don't need to come here often, and haven't been for ages, because I live locally but I was meeting a friend who was on her way back south after a funeral in the Lakes and thought it would be a good place to have a coffee or two and catch up.Starbucks is nice and staff are really pleasant. Service area overall is clean and welcoming.But we overstayed on the car park by 30 minutes and both got stung with a £100 charge from ParkingEye (£60 if we pay up quickly). I could (sort of) understand the principle of charging if we'd left a car all day and not used the facilities, or even if the car park was full and we were preventing other customers from parking. But we were in the cafe, spending money, the whole time, and £100 is a huge amount of money - it feels more like a money-making scam than a real parking charge.

Always stop here when doing the 4 hour journey from West Cumbria to Birmingham as it is about half way. Plenty of choice, loos always clean. Expensive- what services aren't!

Stopped off for a dirty burger and was impressed with the speed the queue went down and the precision and professionalism of the staff was like a well oiled machine. My order was a bit random and everything was as it should be. Every time in other places they struggle with anything not on the normal one button.

Lots of places to eat and halt for a cuppa. Well maintained and clean toilets. Cash machines available.

Situated on the busy M6 motorway Charnock Richard Services are a well established and provide a good choice of hot or cold drinks with an excellent selection of hot and cold meals and snacks. The service area also has a KFC accessible from both North and South bound travellers. The area also has a motel which is good value for money providing clean spacious rooms. Wether it is a comfort break or your looking for a tasty treats The Charnock Richard Services are worth a visit .

Regular toilet stop. Always clean. Good to have a little Waitrose for unnecessary purchases. Stick to you guns, Charnock Richard, do not become "Preston South" or something similar.

Ok for motorway services, fair choice. Normal stuff like easy parking etc. Nothing special. Roomy tables by Subway.

It is disappointing that the overall standard of service stations is average. While there are exceptions this is not one of them. It is OK, the Waitrose facility is a plus. All the basics are there, but it is basic.

Don't these all morph into one big universal service station? My greedy teenagers got burgers and big rolls. Some went down the side of the car seat. Nice there's a Starbucks. But can I tell the difference between this and all the others in the blur of a long journey? It's slightly surreal. I feel the same about airports. It's like I suspect I could meet myself on some other return journey in another time and space.

Sometimes stop here for a break coming down from Scotland. As with every services it can be quite expensive to eat or drink there. The toilet is clean and tidy and the overall look of the place is ok. Staff seem friendly enough.

I am a wheelchair user. Stopped for a break northbound. Disabled toilet was available and of average cleanliness. We wanted to eat at Burger King as that is one of the few places suitable for my autistic son, but there was no lift - although the nice enough member of staff told me there was one on the other side! Left in disgust and spent our money elsewhere.

Run of the mill service station quality food and drinks. Usual dirty toilets, they should offer sterilisation facilities on the way out. Grumpy staff in most places you shop. This was once one of the best service stops that I used on many occasions years ago, sadly it has really gone downhill. Do yourself a favour, take a packed lunch and a personal portaloo, this expensive place is nor worth the money or the visit

The whole ambience is poor quality form the car park to the interior. The food was Ok but far below the usual motorway standard & the staff where helpful but had no zest to them...(hardly surprising working in such a place). The whole feel is of the downtrodden North which seems insulting & very disappointing.

Really grotty services. Had a subway but nearly asked them to leave it- two staff members, alternating between meats and salad and neither changed their gloves at all. Also they just rubbed the surfaces with their gloves instead of actually cleaning them. Odd bits of meat all over the first service counter. Really gross.

Limited menu food not brilliant. Dining area very basic, dogs must stay in your hotel room. Service poor.

Decent WHSmith - nice staff and dent range of magazines. Starbucks were so busy they ran out of mugs. Decent loos.

Traveling back from Wrexham to the Lake District stopped for a break and something to eat ( Burger King ) Nice and clean place and plenty in the shops

Called in for a coffee and the quick use of the facilities. It would be easy enough to tiptoe around the issue of unsanitary toilets, but I won't. The gents toilets stank of urine and made me feel like I needed to be showered and brushed down. Next time I'll take a bag and see if I can hold out until the south lakes services.

Parking is chaos and very few spaces. When you cross the car-park you take your life in your hands. Access and exit to and from the M6 is very difficult. Toliets were clean

What can you say about a welcome break. Like all services toilets stink and everything is fast food. Was only a comfort break anyway.

I stop here regularly when traveling up the M6. The facilities are reasonably modern and clean.This is not my favourite services but good enough for a quick coffee stop.

Well it is welcome, especially when nature is calling and this is where CR Services come into their own with their automatic loo flush which only requires the presence of your hand near the button to spring into action. However there's more. The Starbucks, KFC, Waitrose, WHSmiths, Subway, and Burger King offer you choices which if really hungry, you might just go for it, this time.

Charnock Richard was a welcome break from a traffic jam on the M6. The Waitrose sandwich and bento were good, though the parking was so full that cars were being directed by staff in hi-vis jackets. That's the price for travelling in the peak holiday season.

This is my favourite service station as it has lots of choice. Also if you are on a long journey and just need fuel it is very quick to get fuel. Also has a Waitrose. I also don't want to say that this is the service station the queen uses but it just might be.

stopped here on a coach holiday the driver pulled into the coach bay but the step down to the kerb was narrow and dangerous another coach driver said always accidents at that bay try to avoid it toilets were okay very clean food prices were OTT

I know many motorway services can be hit or miss but I always find this one to be excellent. There is a good selection of food available and the staff are always helpful and the facilities always clean.

This was right across the street from the Days Inn we were staying at, so it was super convenient to stop in for food.

Stopped off for the toilet and a bit of food during a long journey, toilets were clean and replenished. Opted for a subway for food and was highly disappointed. Only two members of staff on who were working very slow despite it being busy and the queue getting longer. Staff looked as if they didn't want to be there in the slightest. Unable to process a full order without rechecking what it was people had asked for it was asthough they hadn't been fully listening the first time. The veg section looked all dried out too, the sweetcorn was pale and shrivelled and the red onions had lost a lot of their colour almost as though they'd been left out for longer than they should have. Staff member on the till was equally as slow and very unhelpful with a subcard. Wouldn't return again. Would try another food place within the services if we ever had to stop there again.

Just been and on many other occasions this is an excellent Starbucks so helpful so polite so willing also the coffee and the hot chocolate are excellent I know everything else the same as the rest but this ones particularly good also suggested they get organic milk oh the farmers they could help

I stopped here as part of a coach trip to London the food is ok but that's about it the service is again ok but that's about it, also the cleanliness needs to be looked at as tables were left dirty for ages also plenty of parking
