came here for my birthday today and had not a very good experience, the food was limited variety with only 1 thai starter which was spring rolls, the rest were fish fingers, chips and onion rings, service wasn’t very good as they just kept clearing the table when we were still eating the food, felt like we were getting rushed out then the main dishes were very basic and most vegatarian which is not ideal, no chicken fried rice, chicken noodles or any chicken curry which was disappointing puddings very dry and that sweet pick n mix had barely any stock left then when we came to the bill they added £10 tip on the card machine without asking which was defo not worth it very expensive and not nice food only good thing was the egg fried rice and drinks!

Nice food and great value. We were served by Pantharee and we had an excellent time.

Customer service is excellent. Staff called Toon provides great service to my family. Happy time.

Nice Thai place. All you can eat. Not the most refined Thai I've eaten, nice nonetheless. I wish I could make rice like that. Happened to be playing Ixion recently, which is space exploration game set on the spaceship the taiqun. So that was a funny coincidence. Yanisa

Food was great but yet another place ramming a disgusting service charge down your throat. Shame really.

My 3rd visit to Thaikhun. It is good to have Thai food buffet in Manchester. The noodle soup and Thai milk tea is super good. Yanisa is nice and provides good services. Will recommend this restaurant.

Myself and my colleagues eat here fairly frequently. Staff are pleasant, food is good. 10/10 from me

Nice atmosphere, great customer service

I absolutely loved eating here tonight. The food was wonderful and such a great selection. The best thing about the place though was our waitress Mam, who was just brilliant. I had two slightly fussy children with me and she just settled them down, gave them ideas of what food they might like and then showed them exactly where to go. Thank you for making a potentially tricky evening such a wonderful family time!

The food here is really nice especialy the eggs noodles and sour sweet chicken. The atmosphere of this place is really nice too as it gives a very authentic street vibe. The service from Toon was really good aswell and everything got explained to us well and cleaned up fast to.

First time we have tried Thaikhun and we’ll definitely be back. Lovely service from Patharee who made us feel very welcome. Fresh food being served throughout our time here.

Love it - great choice of dishes. Warm and friendly service. Chicken noodle soup highly recommended.

Toon was our server today at Thaikun trafford centre. She is always very cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. She welcomes us as if we were going to eat at her home. Really good buffet, a nice stop during shopping, we keep coming back here. Khao Soi soup is excellent, and beef in black been sauce is to die for. A bit pricey for the amount of choices, but it is Trafford Centre, so prices are going to be higher than average Maccies. The staff is lovely and the decor is real nice as well with the old signs and banners :)

I love the way Thaikhun represents Thai street food decorations. Atmosphere was very nice, service is good, but sorry I have to be honest most of foods little bit too dried and salty. Chicken noodle salad taste not nice the noodles was hard. One thing I enjoy was Noodle soup that’s nice👍.

I have been to this restaurant twice, the first time was about 6 years ago and the second time just recently. Lovely and professional staff members, nicely decorated, clean restaurant. Everything looked and tasted fresh and delicious. There were lots of vegetarian options.

This was our first time trying Thaikhun. Safe to say the food was fantastic and Yanisa was excellent and very friendly. Can’t wait to come back with our friends and family.

Good service, and staff Yanisa is very kind. There is not a lot of choice for dessert, but other than that, it's all good.

Great place with. Massive variety of dishes. Ottlmess soft drinks and reduced prices on week days and Sundays. You shouldn't come away hungry. The atmosphere and look of the place is quaint

Stopped for lunch, food is surprisingly good for a buffet, probably the best buffet food we’ve had. Chicken soup, coconut rice and the beef Thai green were exceptional. Drinks looked really good ( didnt have any) . The desserts are pretty lame, but its targeted towards children. You don’t go for Thai food for the jelly and ice cream! Staff were efficient, and friendly . For 20 quid it’s worth it - It’s a must go! :)

Unfairly race discriminated - left very embarrassed. Be wary, if your person of colour. We were told we over welcomed our stay as max limit was 1 and half hours. We admitted, yes we have gone over our time ( we were just chatting, not eating and apart from one other couple at a table next to us, the whole resturant was empty and still 1 hour left till closing time) The couple next to us arrived before us, and they were not told to leave. Only thing we can put it down to is that the other couple were of the same race as the staff. They did not warn them once/had any words with them. The other couple, in fact, heard us being told off, and as we left, they said to us, "Uh oh, don't worry, we got here before you ". Just trying to make light of the situation. We awkwardly laughed it off and left. The other couple still sat there for who knows how long.

This place has massively gone down hill since it was Choa Baby. I went for lunch at 12pm and all the dishes were cold. The meat they use is obviously from frozen. Overall mediocre food, definitely better options in the Trafford Centre. £6.50 for a pint of Singah and a service charge in a self-service buffet? I won't be visiting again.
