Don't bother coming here to eat. The food is awful. Most of it is luke warm at best apart from the soup which was hot. A member of staff was dishing out freshly cooked chicken wings. I grabbed a couple thinking I can have something hot but got to my table and to my disappointment it was barely warm like the rest of the items. The egg fried rice was the worst. You know when you burn rice at the bottom of a pan it is just in one lump. It was like that but full of oil 🤢 Limited items for vegetarians. There are so many better places to eat at Trafford centre save yourself the misery of coming to this awful place. They add an optional 5% to the bill.

Fantastic all you can eat Thai buffet and exactly what I'd want from this sort of food court (or food courts in Bangkok). I'm amazed this place has less than four stars; I can only imagine some people are expecting the dishes to be the quality they'd be as if £15-20 individually in a restaurant. Of course the dishes are slightly more food courty/cafeteria in style; not fancy just good proper Thai food, smiley service. That's why it's £20 all you can eat!

My first time real experience with Thai food and have to say it was really nice and flavourful. The staff were very helpful and friendly, they make you feel very welcome. The only down side is the limited space which reduced the food options as I wish there was more mains to choose from. Other than that I would definitely recommend and would like to go again

Food very limited, and the fact they just add their own tip amount on your bill is just rude and un lawful. I came to check reviews and glad I did, as I was confused to why my bill was so high, I never questioned as I was out with my daughters and didn’t want to cause a fuss. We won’t go again.

The food options were limited and they were slightly warm, the pork soup was the hottest (temperature). We did not have any of the desserts as they were mostly generic to any buffet, nothing majorly authentic. The frozen (slushi) cocktails weren't nice, they were ridiculously sweet which made them undrinkable. A big waste of £20. The staff seemed lovely but seemed too busy elsewhere to be focusing on customers.

Not bothering writing a long review as it is beyond help. Used to love coming here when it was cho baby. The place just needs removing now. Food bad, filthy restaurant and toilet. All just bad. Did like looking through the positive reviews tho. Straight off AI chat with pictures of hundreds of dishes all set up nicely. Clearly the owner has put these in to improve the rating. All I’m saying is I have never left an all you can eat buffet hungry but the food quality wasn’t worth the food poisoning I’m sure I’m going to get from the first and only taste of the food here.

Low rating because they now tip themselves without asking you first. Check your receipt as they will automatically add a tip on for their limited interaction with you since the entire concept relies almost entirely on self service. I had to go back and ask them to refund the tip when I noticed it on the receipt as they don't give it to you until after you pay. The food was quite nice though but there wasn't a huge choice available.

My partner and I had never had a Thai buffet before, so we were intrigued by the idea. We thought it was a bit pricey for lunch, but took the risk as we love Thai food and thought for the price they were charging the quality must be great. Unfortunately it just missed the mark for me. Vegetarian options could have been better, but I was excited to try the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Unfortunately they were both very bland, and the noodles were overcooked. The Pad Thai had a bright red/pink colour to it and tasted very tart. Not exactly what I have come to expect from the dish. Vegetarian spring rolls were nice. The mushroom soup was okay, as to was the cucumber salad, although unfortunately I had the last of it so it was quite mushy and very spicy. My partner liked the meaty dishes and thought they were really nice. He complimented the soup and curry. The staff members were friendly, but I saw one of them sneeze into his hands, wipe his nose, and continue to work on the ice cream machine, which made me wonder about hygiene practices. Also, as others have mentioned, they add a service fee onto the bill, which is a bit odd as it’s a buffet where you serve yourself. It was only £2 but still seemed a bit much considering how expensive the meal was in the first place. It’s definitely quantity over quality. There just wasn’t enough authenticity or flavour.

Thaikhun Street, Trafford Centre: A Disappointing Experience Thaikhun Street at The Orient, Trafford Park, Stretford, Manchester, fell far short of expectations. The all-you-can-eat buffet concept held initial promise, but the reality was a stark contrast. The food on offer was undeniably poor value for money. The limited variety of meat and seafood was disappointing, and the quality was even more so. Many dishes were lukewarm, if not cold, suggesting a lack of freshness. The flavors were a far cry from authentic Thai cuisine, leaving a bland and uninspiring taste. The dining environment was equally unpleasant. The outdated metal seating was uncomfortable, and the overall decor was tired and uninviting. The dessert selection was minimal and lacked any real appeal. It's worth noting that the buffet used to offer a wider range of dishes, including various stews and prawns. However, on this particular visit, the focus seemed to be on noodles and stews with insufficient meat, further diminishing the value. Given the price point, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. It's clear that Thaikhun Street has fallen short of its potential. Based on this visit, it's unlikely that we will return. Key issues: Poor value for money Limited and low-quality food options Lack of authentic Thai flavours Uncomfortable seating and outdated decor Disappointing dessert selection I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider their choice of restaurant.

[READ THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WASTE MONEY) You definitely feel thirsty after the meal as the food are oily and salty. Food quality are bad, not traditional Thai food. No service at all. The staff just ignore my desk as we finished our dish, no one come and clear our table. Poor Service! One more note, make sure to check the bill as they include "service charge" in the bill. The all you can eat just cost £19.9 per each but they input £1 additional service charge per head in the bill, which is £20.9. When we questioned the staff what is happening, they said this is a optional service charge and we have a choice to not pay the £1 per head. This made me consider the waitress is untruthfulness which mandatory the guest to pay for it. Very very disappointed experience. I definitely won't eat this shop as there are lots of choice in Trafford Centre.

We was only nipping through the T.C when we decided to have a quick lunch. Because the Chinese restaurant had shut down we settled for this place. If I'm honest I'm not a thai food fan. Quite pricey for all you can eat. I think l had less than £5 worth of food because l didn't like the food at all. The meat selection was pretty skimpy. I ate some chicken wings which wasn't brilliant and a small plate of the melon selection. I tried 3 out of 3 soups and only liked one. My friend spent over £50 for 2 with a pint of larger and a soft drink was a complete waste of money. Never again. Personally the food isn't nice for all you can eat. After shopping alone I fancied a treat. That wasn’t what I got. The place was an awful mess. I was given a table in the worst little cramped corner, which felt like I had been put in the naughty corner. Probably because I was dinning on my own ? Then the food was the worst Thai food I have ever had. Phad Thai is usually a go too for me, but this was rank 🤮 no cashews, just soggy noodles with some soggy carrots. So ok I thought I’d try the wings. Nope they wasn’t good either, nor was the spring rolls, chilli beef or fried noodles, which I usually love. At that point I thought ok I quit. Still hungry but enough was enough. Worst treat meal I have ever treated myself to ever. Do not bother. I ended up spending another 10 quid at prey because I was still hungry ?

Theres no difference in price between going for lunch or dinner like most all you can eats, so we found it a bit pricey just for lunch. The food dishes are very limited for the price also and this place is definitely not for fussy eaters. Refillable drinks are also £4.99 again pricey if you only have 1. The spicy chicken soup was very nice and its the only thing I'd go back for, which is a shame because we won't be back, theres much better value places to eat near by. You also eat outside so the world and his wife can watch you eating as they pass by, this was so uncomfortable for me 😅

Pretty soulless and no atmosphere. It looks like on the first view there’s lots of dishes but really for the size of the actual restaurant it’s quite limited. Soup was nice, a real positive, but only 4 ‘starters’ chicken wings, spring rolls, chips and onion rings, this is where it started to lose me. The sent up is wrong too, they ask you to go left to right, do you come to main dishes before the rice/ noodles etc, so you have to put the food on first then rice/ noodles on top, only a little thing but for me was a issue I didn’t like that. The dishes ran out quickly and quality was average at best. Noodles were over cooked and limp and stuck together. Seafood basil nearly blew my head off it was so hot. I’ve tried it I won’t go again. I visited here before going to the cinema on a busy Friday night. Would definitely go again 👍 Upon arrival I had to wait in a queue for 5 minutes as the restaurant itself was at full capacity. In a group of more than 4 I could imagine it being a long wait to get seated during busy times. The food itself as great, so many tasty dishes and competitive pricing at 18.95 per person. Each table has a 90 minute period upon arrival for their meal which is an ample amount of time to experience many different dishes without rushing. The service wasn't the best, but this is to be expected at such a busy establishment and when the serving team are predominantly cleaning and clearing table to ensure turnaround is as quick as possible so that customers can be welcomed and seated promptly upon arrival. The buffet itself consisted of many options: salads, prawn crackers, soups, chips, rices, noodles, curries, and sweets. I had a great time trying many different dishes. Considering how busy it was all the chefs and waiting staff did a great job. Hope they can keep on smiling and provide even better service next time I'm back. Thanks for the great food, it was much appreciated ❤️

The reason why I am giving it 3 stars is for the Time Limitation policy of staying up to maximum 1 hour and half, for me buffet is for eating and relax but then you have barely the time fit for finish and you can’t relax you have to go. Was super excited to try the Thai buffet and picked a special occasion to be there. but was disappointed. Was a Sunday and we were about 3pm and I was hoping it to be quiet but was quite busy. We were greeted at the entrance taken to the table. Salad was missing the green papaya salad which I was looking forward to and was replaced by cucumber salad. Fresh cut salad, along with fruit salad and a cold spicy chicken salad was ok. The tom kha chicken soup was missing chicken. Spotted the kitchen help throw in some chicken after quite some time. The soups however were tasty. Onion rings were heavily coated with the batter and had no taste. The chicken BBQ wings kept disappearing so I had to wait for them. All the different coconut milk based curries very tasty however they seemed more sweeter than usual as though there was added sugar in some form. Ended up scraping some rice off the bottom of the pans as the rest noodles and combinations were empty. When I checked with kitchen they said it be at least 10 minutes wait to get at least 1 of them. Was expecting Thai dessert but had to settle for pancakes, muffins, ice cream, cut fruits again, popcorn. We picked buffet as we didn't want to be waiting for food to arrive but that didn't work to plan. We wanted to have a good Thai food experience and that we didn't quite have. Overall not value for money. They charge you £18.95 per adult. And drinks extra. Don't think I would be going there again soon.

I visited this restaurant with high hopes as i absolutely love Thai food. However, the buffet had a good number of dishes but lacked the Thai touch. Who serves onion rings and chips in a Thai Buffet? The famous raw papaya salad was changed with cucumber salad. The chicken soup and Thai red curry were the only 2 dishes that tasted authentic. The dessert section was alright, no regional Thai desserts except for sago pudding and banana in caramel. Pad Thai had no vegetables at all, just rice noodles in some sauce. The charges are different for weekdays, weekends and bank holidays. Being a bank holiday they charged £18.9 plus additional £1 for serving charge so that total bill for one person came up to £19.9 Another thing to keep in mind is they offer you seating only for 1.5 hours, so you need to make sure you finish your meal at that specific time. With buffets, I feel you need a good time so that you can relax and get an opportunity to taste more variety of food. I have had better buffets in around the same or lesser price with better taste so I would rate this restaurant a 3/5. The ambience is good, the staff are welcoming, all they need to improve is taste and variety. I have lived in Thailand for quite some time, hence coming to this conclusion. I understand we can't compare or demand the food to be exactly the way it is there, but at least try reaching closer.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Definitely not to the trafford centre store in Manchester anyway. I have never left a bad review anywhere in my life but i’m warning people don’t go here. Yes okay, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. However, the food is rushed, not prepared throughly and the plates and cutlery are NOT CLEAN. They do not wash the plates and cutlery properly at all, there is obvious food stains and crusty left overs that you can feel if you touch the plate, and same for the cutlery, very unhygienic. The food was NOT pleasant, I feel like the chicken meat was undercooked and just rushed, and for the desserts - they were terrible. The bill paid when leaving was absolutely not worth it at all, wished I went to a different restaurant I instantly regretted it. Very disappointing. That’s not even the worst part. The worst part is 24 hours later I recognised i felt very unwell and soon realised that I have food poisoning!!! 3 days later here i am still feeling very, very unwell thanks to this place. The food was so flavourful, and the 'hot' dishes had an amazing spice level and taste. It's probably one of the best places I have eaten at for years. Endless choices and variety of dishes. We always struggle to choose where to get something to eat when going to the Trafford Centre, but struggle no more. We will always eat here when visiting. Amazing. Just absolutely loved it, and would most definitely recommend.

Honestly some of the worst food I’ve eaten. Choices were limited, cold and gave me stomach ache. Service was also terrible. Eating here made me wish I stayed home and cooked. Avoid!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. It's a great place, especially considering the reasonable prices. The food was excellent and well worth the cost. I highly recommend the mushroom soup and seafood – my favorites!

Tasteless food. Not great. Cleanliness wasn't great either. Deserts were nothing special and they messed up our table after we told them in the beginning what we wanted. Overall, paid almost £40 for 2. Not worth it at all. My advice is to eat somewhere else.

I found this place to be okay. There are definitely better places with nicer options and better quality of food. Service could have been marginally better. For me the Jasmine rice and BBQ chicken were the best rest felt below expectations.

Disappointing selection missing many of the staple Thai dishes we would expect to see and also most Thai dishes are made with pork not beef so was a little surprised by the minced beef dish. It was edible but not great. I also had a mocktail pina colada which just tasted like pineapple juice. Service was good and friendly though.

To naprawdę fajne miejsce. It's a really cool place. Thai service - very nice. The food was good, the selection could be bigger, but still 4+. This is a pay-once-and-eat-as-you-want restaurant. Food from appetizers to desserts in the form of a buffet.

First time eating out at the Thsikhin street buffet. The was a little 5 to 10 minutes wait although it didn't really both me as that comes with a visit it the Trafford Centre at prime time. I was greeted very plesently by a member of staff who showed me to my table and explained how to, what to do and how long I had. At the buffet area the salads are first then the mains which was hard work for me personally as I had all my salad and sauces were under my mains. There was a good selection I can't lie. All the food looked fresh and hot and did too. Most mains were at the bottom of the pan which was a bit annoying as I couldn't really be bothered going back up again. The deserts were quite standard nothing special tbf. But all in all, it was filling, tasty and a good atmosphere. Bit dusty here and there but I have OCD, some people aren't fussed.

I am currently in bed with food poisoning after my visit. I am crippled with the worst stomach pain. Nausea and can’t keep off the toilet. My head feels like it could expose. I will never eat here again. My partner has a sore stomach also. I should have read the reviews before going. I would never expect the Trafford center to allow such a bad restaurant under their roof!
