As soon as I entered I knew it was going to be chaos and I was correct. 815 booking and finally got seated at 840. The drink selection is awful. No flavoured Vodka, no orange J2O, Lemonade tasted cheap amd nasty. The service was awful. After an hour we had still had no food or the offer of a second drink, so I went and ordered my own at the bar. My poppadom tasted of cold fat, does that mean they're not fresh? The starters were fine, just took an hour and 10 mins to get them. The mains were OK, I had Salmon which said it came with a salad. Salad was lettuce..... Technically it's salad but I just thought there would be more. It just felt like down in the cellars you are forgotten. We only went because I couldn't get a table at Bombay Pickle. I definitely will never go again.

Average food at best, massively over priced for what it was and I thought the waiters attitude stank - poor service in general. Asked for more lime pickle and was told like a naughty child ‘finish what you’ve got first and I will bring you some more’. As a paying customer, I don’t see the issue in asking for more, seems as I am paying the overpriced bill at the end of meal regardless. Another bug bear is only being served popadoms to the table once ordering the mains. What do you think I’m going to do a runner and not pay for 6 popadoms??? It’s nice to brows the menu and have nibble rather than be fobbed off by some make believe story of mint dip being spilled on the menu once upon a time. Won’t be returning.

Great restaurant best Indian food in the area bar none. Ask about the specials I had the lamb shank really tender and tasty asked for a few green chillies on the side didn’t really need them as the spice levels were perfect. Recently redecorated to a very high standard great atmosphere with friendly helpful staff.

It was a really busy evening for the restaurant but despite being fully booked, the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating! The food was excellent, tasty and delicious. The atmosphere in the cellar area is cosy and unique. We had a lovely meal, portions were ample. Prices are excellent and match the service. While we waited for the taxi, we were given a complimentary drink and had a lovely chat with the staff. Would highly recommend! Nothing but praise.

I recently won a competition for a free meal for 2, we went last night the food and the service was impeccable, and just a beautiful venue, and iv got to say the cocktails were lush! We loved our evening, we will be visiting again very soon!

Second visit here after a day at the cricket. Returning customers due to the exceptional service we received last time and fantastic food. We were not disappointed, lamb shank for the OH, mixed tandoori massala for me. Both amazing, lamb literally falls off the bone! The staff are so friendly and helpful, offering their expert opinion on the food and having general conversation, hard to find nowadays in a restaurant. Keep up the good work Cellars, we'll be back.

Great restaurant for romantic meal or catch up with friends. 3rd time here and exceptional service and food quality each time. All staff efficient and friendly. Shout out to Amo who was great and made fab liqueur coffee.

Oh my goodness, what an absolute gem this place is. As soon as you walk through the door, you're treated like royalty, staff are so friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, special was recommended to us, lamb shank and they added spinach for us, which my other half said was amazing. We were given a different bread to try also, free of charge next time we'll be ordering it, it was that delicious!!! Just as we were about to leave we were given a complimentary baileys each. I cannot recommend Cellars enough, the food, staff and service is the best around. 5* we'll be back

This was our first visit although we didn't sit in but ordered a take away. Lovely welcome when we walked in with the choice to sit in the reception area whilst we browsed the menu and had a drink. It's obvious that most people were regulars and the guy who served us realised we hadn't been before so gave us a guided tour. What a fantastic gesture and of course we will now eat in next time and we can't wait. Food was fabulous from the starters to main courses and the breads. Thank You for your hospitality we will be back soon.

Excellent food and service! Got recommended an off-menu special “Homestyle” curry which was the nicest restaurant/takeaway curry I’ve ever had. Tarka Dal was top notch; Veg Bhuna and Saag Paneer were very tasty and flavoursome. Definitely one of the nicest for a while!

Went here on a Sunday. Very quiet. However after previous visits I must say the food quality has definitely gone up. We ordered 2 mains that were really tasty. You could really taste the different flavours. Well done.

Visited last night for our date night, restaurant was bustling as always on a Saturday evening however was greeted politely and promptly taken to our table. Even though the place was clearly busy, all drinks and food were served quickly, the staff are always friendly and always remember us!

Booked a table for tonight at 7.30. Arrived, had a great welcome and drinks and menus provided. But at 8.20 we were still sat waiting for a table! There were only two of us, and it was clear that they were seating larger groups (without a booking) before us!

I hadn’t previously been here, having a preference for the very good food on offer at the Indian restaurant directly opposite.

Came here for a spontaneous dinner with my partner. We were the only ones in the place! We got served quickly and the food was delicious. Reasonably priced.

Booked a table for 4 with no problem with an easy online booking system. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed, with friendly staff who were very helpful with their suggestions and opinions on the dishes. The food is always amazing and presented well. Everyone at the table at our last visit loved their food and came out of the restaurant stuffed! Definitely coming again, hopefully soon for another wonderful curry.

So we took a out a table of 18 for a meal on a Tuesday night. You'd think that was a great booking for most restaurants and you might get the very best service so as to encourage the party guests to come back with friends and family? You think!!

Went with a friend on a Thursday evening. We had the 3 course special for £13.99 Sunday to Thursday. Omg .. the railway lamb starter was amazing. Apparently it’s available as a main course too. The chicken tikka main was excellent, my friend 3njoyed her onion Bhargi starter too. We had Irish coffee as the 3 rd course. We wasn t rushed at all, and staff was really friendly. My new favourite Indian !

You know what you’re getting here and the cellars that you can sit in are something different. I’ve not had bad food here in all the years I’ve been going and that’s a great achievement!

First time here good service in nice surroundings. I went for the £13.95 set meal starter, main, side and coffee I enjoyed each course. This was certainly value for money but not available on busiest evenings.with a couple of pints and free Baileys all under £25 not bad.

All the food was extremely tasty and plentiful. The service was good. The room full of other diners chatting created an environment that was a little noisy for our liking: some soft furnishings might improve this.

Came here for a birthday meal and received excellent service. Food was very delicious and staff were very helpful! Restaurant is laid out well with additional seating downstairs. Staff were also very knowledgable about food intolerances and the majority of the menu is gluten free. Would definitely recommend a trip!

Visited with a few family members off mine & must say by far one of the best restaurant that I have visited. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. Food was spot on very delicious especially the railway lamb that was superb must try deffo will be visiting again.

We have been here before and now again we were not disappointed. We sat downstairs where it is very cosy. Abdul attended to us and he was extremely helpful and charming. The food was excellent. We look forward to our next meal here.

Visited with a group of 15 work colleagues on a Tuesday evening March 2019. The staff were very pleasant. Service was good and the food absolutely first rate. The best Indian meal I’ve had for some time. Not bad value either. Only ale they had was Hob Goblin Gold by the bottle. I doubt a barrel of cask ale would turnover quick enough, but they ought to get some bottled local ales I.e Holders or Kinver Brewery etc. This is the only way it could have been better. Will be back.

We ordered a meal on Saturday and was told 60 minutes for delivery 2hours later we rang and they said it’s left and on the way ,30 minutes after again ringing them they said it’s going to be 20 min as they where stuck in traffic we only live 1 mile away my advice do not order for take a way customer service is very bad

We have visited cellars many times and had nothing but praise for the place but after our experience last night we will not go there again, as soon as we stepped through the door it went down hill, we were met with a a very abrupt waiter and then shown to our table by a young girl who was quite rude, once we had placed our orders and drinks, the food arrived very quickly but again with abrupt waiters, the food was nice though very expensive for what we had and I’m sure the naan breads had shrunk to size of the tea plate!!, not once were we asked if everything was ok or even if we needed anymore drinks, once we finished the young girl came to take our dishes and came back to ask if we wanted the bill, I asked her if it was possible if we could look at the sweet menu to which she looked at me gone out and the just walked away!!!, another waiter came to explain to us that they were making changes to the dessert menu and offered only two desserts that they could serve, why the young girl couldn’t of told us that in the first place I don’t know, once the bill came we felt it was very expensive for what we had, so we paid up and went to left, not one waiter said thank you or good buy as we left and we all said that will be last time we ever eat in this restaurant, really disappointed with this place and will not recommend to anyone now

We are so glad we came here this evening. I was invited to have the special goat curry with lentils, and it was one of the most delicious meals I've had; we'll definitely come back for another. The whole meal was very tasty, and memorable. The staff are all lovely and enthusiastic (especially Abdul - our thanks to him), and they looked after us with the right degree of attention.

The curry was three small pieces of chicken in a sauce and my husbands was the same with lamb really watery

The usually favourite menu and some nice specials. You can not go wrong - never a problem or poor meal. Solid curry house. Staff are excellent and always willing to adjust meals as requested.

My family and I have been going to Cellars for years, for both takeaways and sit down meals. The food is always delicious and the staff are second to non. They are always friendly and polite and make you feel very welcome. They cater for everything including large groups of friends or work parties. Lovely atmosphere in this restaurant.

I’ve been going to cellars now for well over twenty years, even had two Christmas days spent there, and last night made me realise why I’ve been going here for so long.

Food was amazing, so much choice, they do the best chicken tikka. Staff very friendly and attentive. We won’t go anywhere else now.

Arrived without a booking on a Saturday night and was seated within 20 minutes in a very busy restauant. A prompt service with excellent tasting food. Complimentary drink to finish. Very impressed.

Welcoming staff and lovely decor in this high street restaurant . The food was pretty good- some interesting dishes and would recommend the Railway Lamb . Service was very friendly and very efficient- a little too quick in honesty ,as soon as you sat down popadoms arrived and as fast as one course finished the next arrived- no respite and ended up leaving food as too stuffed ! A little pause between courses would have been welcome . In fairness it was a busy Saturday night and they were probably getting customers through ASAP . The curry house is licenced Overall a good curry good service and good prices

Booked in for a Banquet Meal for 21. Thought it might be a little too much for the staff to handle but the food was very good and brought out in a timely manner. Well done guys we had a great night.

Went in a group for a birthday and wasn't disappointed with the food. Nicely presented and very tasty. Our only criticism is the price of the drinks. £2.55 for a coke is pushing it a bit.

Went to Cellars last night for the first time and was very impressed. Service was excellent (we were a party of 13) and friendly, food was well presented and tasted amazing. Tough competition within 5-miles of this place, but we will certainly be going back.
