We (2 humans and 2 dogs) had a very warm welcome this morning! There’s is a gorgeous selection of hot/cold sandwiches/rolls, and amazing cakes and cream teas! The dogs were also kindly given some treats. The price is incredibly reasonable, and we weee told that any profits made go back into community projects! A must visit when in South Pembrokeshire! (Cash only)

Nothing better than a pot of tea and home made cake after a walk from Freshwater West. Lovely friendly cafe with cake fit for Great British Bake off. Also very welcoming of our dog who was treated to fresh water and dog biscuits

We called in for a cream tea - what a treat! We visited as we're staying in the village and felt we should support this local social enterprise. However, the service and food we had could compete with any cafe. We were made to feel welcome and it was lovely to see that local people were there as well as tourists. Well done Castlemartin community - we were very impressed. Ps - the cream tea was excellent fresh warm scones clotted cream and jam and plenty of tea. Perfect!

Not great food and not clued up on allergy advice. Friendly but didn't really listen to what we asked for when ordering and although we stated allergies, the food came with other additional foods on plate, which when we asked if checked ingredients they hadn't. Not saying it was bad altogether but they ought to be more clued up and careful. Also felt it was expensive for what it was

An unexpected and pleasant find on our journey back from Angle via Freshwater. Our choice of a pot of tea plus hot water, a great selection of cakes, which included welsh cakes, was complimented by excellent and friendly service from the staff of volunteers. A return visit is a certainty

The best lemon drizzle cake I've tasted, but couldn't get the recipe. Cream tea was also excellent according to my son, who's an expert, and my husband. Run by volunteers who are very friendly

We noticed it on our way Freshwater West (one of the best beaches in the UK). The welcome was warm and the food was excellent. It was so good we went back the next day for lunch! If you are just visiting for a few days, or walking the 126 miles of the Pembrokeshire Path it a must. Local produce is used where possible. All the proceeds going towards the upkeep of the village hall, plus employing young people from the village. There is only one downside at present, it’s only open at weekends and bank holidays,

We stopped here on our way to a surfing lesson at Freshwater West. It was absolutely fantastic. The quality of the food, cleanliness of the hall & facilities and the friendliness of the volunteers who were preparing, cooking and serving the food was wonderful. Our sandwiches were great value for money and made perfectly. We sat outside and enjoyed our food. We really admired how these ladies were giving up the personal time to provide a wonderful service to locals, holiday-makers and people passing through. I hope they are successful with their fundraising to keep this place alive. It felt like the hub of the village and should be preserved for future generations of residents, tourists and travellers to enjoy. I hope the local government understand how important it is for community life to support this facility.

We were on our way to visit Fleur and Bill's house and feeling a bit peckish. All of a sudden this wee cafe appeared. The ladies in charge of this operation were lovely. And the food was just what we needed. Sitting outside enjoying a cuppa, it was the perfect experience.

An unforgettable dining experience! We had the Saturday evening set menu and were blown away. Every dish was crafted with care, showcasing locally sourced ingredients and a menu that felt both thoughtful and inspired. The flavours were creative and balanced with each course beautifully presented and complementing the next! The staff were warm, attentive and so friendly. It was, without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences we’ve had!

Five Stars for Cwtch Coffee – A Warm Welsh Hug in a Mug! Two Australians wandered into Cwtch Coffee on the morning of 09 APR 25 (probably looking jetlagged and deeply confused) to a cosy little gem that lives up to its name - “cwtch” really does feel like a hug, and this place wrapped us up like a toasty blanket fresh from the dryer. The service? Impeccable. The prices? Surprisingly kind to the wallet. The Coffee? Solid, satisfying, and exactly what we needed to help reset our body clocks. We were served by a brilliantly funny Irish gentleman who could moonlight as a stand-up comic if he ever tires of perfectly pulling espresso shots. Honestly, if the coffee hadn’t perked us up, his banter would have. He made us laugh, feel welcome, and briefly forget we were two Aussies in foreign territory with no idea how to pronounce “Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.” If you’re ever passing through Wales and want great coffee, affordable prices, and a dose of Irish comedy - don’t miss Cwtch Coffee.

We stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday weekend. The hotel is fabulous, in a great location and is run by super friendly staff. The breakfast is super tasty & has a great selection on offer. We stayed in one of the dog friendly coach house rooms that was perfect, beautifully decorated & spotless. We ate in the restaurant one of the nights & the food was fantastic. This hotel is a little gem & I will definitely be staying again.
