Best coffee in derby can't wait to visit again.

A lovely cafe we enjoyed our toasted sandwiches with delicious coleslaw. Would recommend a visit. My husband enjoyed looking at the model cars on display. The staff served us well they were very helpful.

What a refreshing change to find a cafe that actually looks after wheelchair users. The host was a wonderful example of how to treat his customers. The food was excellent, the coffee was hot and it was a lovely atmosphere. Thank you so much, we’ll be back soon.

Spot on food and you could actually smell the freshness of the salad . I'm a chef and know this stuff lol. Proper coffee too. Really friendly nothing is too much. Priced very appropriately which is a find in itself today. If your visiting Derbion you must go . X

We go every Tuesday at lunchtime for a snack . Lovely coffee & personal service by Tony & staff lovely atmosphere.

Great experience, food and drink with heart. Served at the table. Old song with memories. Although many customers here, the staff still served with smile and willing to wait for us to order. Since we are first time here and many choices to choose, we need time to choose what to eat and drink.

Took the children here for a drink as they were all complaining of being thirsty. They got immediately fussed over by the owner, who very kindly pushed the tables together to enable us to be able to sit together. Great service and good tasty milkshakes sold here at a reasonable price. Always have good service here and a friendly welcome.

Having visited this Coffee shop infrequently over many years Tony and team always provide great coffee,very friendly service and obviously have a great rapport with their regulars.If you are lucky you get to sample Tony singing along to cafes playlist 😀

I’ve lived in Derby for more than 30 years and never knew that this has the best coffee in town! The owner is Italian and makes super good coffee that will actually wake you up! He’s also friendly, super accommodating and made an ice latte despite it not being on the menu. Look forward to trying food next time

The gentleman seated up to our seat.always asking if it was fine for us.brought menus very quite.explained..if there was something that we wanted n not on menu they would do all they can to sort it.after ordered..out came our very cold glasses which had been in a chiller with it being a very hot day it was a lovely touch..even poured our drinks.after afew more minutes our food came..looked lovely n tasted so nice..the gentleman often came bk to make sure everything was fine...This is our 1st time here n will definitely be going bk n tell family n friends..thankyou so much to all staff there..me n my daughter enjoyed our lunch experience with you all...will be seeing you again soon...thankyou..great place..

Two cappuccinos and toasties. So glad they are still around and the new premises are beautiful. More spacious than the previous premises with tables suitable for all size parties as larger tables round the back. Second floor has even more tables. Staff are as friendly as ever...

This and the grand café caruso are the best cafés in Derby. Been going here since I was really young with my family and I've never had a complaint about them. Amazing food and drinks and the friendliest staff ever. ❤️

Good for thin people and couples. Coffee and scones were very nice, tables are very small and only fit two people at a time to each table. Ok for a quick coffee and snack.

This cafe is relatively new to me, I used go to his father's place which was in the Eagle centre. I usually met up with my friends there, it was our "go to" place because of the service etc. Well, in Ba ington Lane, their son has opened up a new branch, it's light and airy, comfortable, without being "sandwiched" together. The family have big plans for this cafe so watch this space. So, you might ask, why only 4 stars 🌟 ?? because I'm Coeliac which means that I can't eat anything with gluten in. And, naughty, naughty, they haven't catered for my needs yet. Sooo......watch out! because there is a place in Derbion which sells gluten free muffins that are HUGE and expensive but I love them....🤔

Staff and owner are so friendly.. First time we have been and will definitely return... The hot chocolate with fresh cream was lush. Thank you 5* to you all 😃

If you are looking for somewhere for quality coffee and a snack or lunch then Caruso Cafe is just the ticket. Located just inside St Peters Mall it’s easy to find. Bright and cheerful and full of friendly local customers who know the owner well having been at Caruso for 15 years. Definitely worth finding this café in Derby!

I eat and drink in Caruso Boutique on a regular basis and I can honestly say I believe it to be the Best in Derby I have tried other coffee shops but they are not the same Caruso's is always clean the owner is always helpful to anyone who comes in and goes the extra mile his food is excellent and tasty and his coffee is a tasty Italian made as you like it. A taste of Italy in Derby.

Tony and his staff are always welcoming to Cafe Caruso Boutique in Derby. They know most of their customers by name. Always happy to find you a seat and give great personal service. Good range of drinks and excellent choice of food. I always have a cappuccino decaf and they do tasty sandwiches and toasties with a salad. I always look forward to going there knowing it will be a friendly and happy experience

Always curious on other people's views. I've just read a recent review about plastic cups and paint. Never, would this happen. I've been drinking coffee in there since it first opened, and have never seen a plastic cup, or even blue paint in the decor. Is the reviewer reporting on the right establishment, I reckon that even if a customer requested a plastic coffee cup, it would be denied by the management. This coffee shop has received many awards and high ranking status over the years. This can only be achieved through constant regard to detail, and shear hard graft in what must be a hard business to be in. Anyone thinking on a visit here, go, you will only enjoy top quality food, drink and top service.

Found this little gem in the Derbion SC when over visiting my son. Great food at reasonable prices. Staff are top class and owner makes you feel very welcome. Would highly recommend and looking forward to visiting again on next trip

We went for breakfast and it was quite quiet. The service was ok but the food was terrible. My sons babychino was in a plastic cup which was used for paints. So as he was drinking the milk a streak of blue appeared. The cup had blue paint in it!

It was great place to eating in, very helpful staff. I had mozzarella baguette with basil it was great price is £4.50. Their coffee was very tasty I am not coffee expert but I can tell nice coffee is. I would definitely go again.

Called this morning Friday 4th March 2022 at about 10am. Was quite busy but did get a table ok. Ordered coffees and toast which came quite quickly. The coffee was very nice, shame not bigger cups though. Only moan is it was very cold sitting there.

Not been here for a while. Was busy. Coffee was gorgeous but it was cold in the actual cafe.

This cafe boutique is an absolute little treasure. We have been coming here almost since it opened, and will continue to do so.

Tony always gives you a warm welcome and the staff are very polite.Nothing is beyond them they go out of their way to make you feel wanted x

This is one of the best places in Derby for a coffee (or many other drinks) and some food. The chains can be ok, but this has a good menu with loads of options at good prices, and a nice atmosphere. However I think they are moving soon, so I hope they maintain the same standard.

What can i say, 7 years since moving North to Derby and have found "Tony's coffee shop", thats what we call it, a highlight of shopping in Derby, consistently the best coffee and alwys we looked after.

Always love it here its my happy place, staff are always living and caring and it feels like you're visiting family everytime you go. I've been going here with my mum since I was in a pram and it's always stayed the same 10/10 recommend

No I'm back in England for a while I have been in this coffee bar 3 times before that for many years they said the best coffee you can buy and snack Tony is very friendly very caring to the elderly and cost his staff are very good as well so I give them five stars
