Picturesque low key venue. Super friendly staff and great food. A hidden gem nestled up from the sea front with stunning views over the sea and Orme. Originally visited for Sunday lunch and ended up booking our wedding here. Would highly recommend a visit to see all of the unusual birds and farm animals, and to try a Sunday lunch or snack. A great experience and will be returning very soon

Went for a day out at the farm with twins aged 8 . Reasonable entry price only £3-50 each and animal food good value at £1 per bag . There are a few animals , a great many owls and knowledgable staff to tell you about them and a good play area with sand , a wooden castle , swings and an obstacle course . Ordered lunch pizza and bowl of chips to share . Really nice hot food ( a little wait as the place was very busy ) Asked for iced water and were given a huge jug which they happily refilled a little later . Young waitresses were smiley and efficient and most helpful . I would certainly recommend as a good value family place

Arrived at bodafan farm for day out with our grandchildren. As usual we went to see the animals which was fantastic as always. We decided to have lunch as we have done before, and the restaurant had only three groups eating. I asked for the menu and ordered drinks which clearly had the Sunday lunch menu available. However when ordered from the bar I was told because we hadn't booked we could only choose from the pizza menu, with no other options available. No apologies, no enquiries about weather a Sunday lunch was feasible. Total computer says no attitude. If the restaurant was full I would have accepted this but it was practically empty. This was not an issue on previous visits and I had recommended this restaurant for Sunday lunch to many friends. This I now regret.

My husband and I love the food here and the setting is beautiful. My burger and chips was delicious and my husband loved his pizza from the outside pizza oven. I don’t normally like pizzas but I had a taste of his and I loved it. I will probably have one myself on our next visit.

When we stopped here for lunch after visiting to see the owls, I was not expecting to have the best pizza I've eaten in a while. Yet that's exactly what happened. The food was excellent, much better than I was expecting, and as the weather was excellent we were able to eat outside, and for the duration of our stay Llandudno felt like Italy. The downside was the service; it seemed like we were an inconvenience to the waitress at first, although she did warm up to us later. I'd definitely come back without question, especially if the weather is good, as the food and location are top drawer.

visited the Furnace café, had homemade soup and a sandwich made with their own bread from the bakery shop . sat outside in the sheltered seating area found the Covid 19 restrictions adequate . you had to queue outside and wait to be attended to, if you were eating inside you had to leave your details and you were escorted to a table . they were wearing masks and sanitizer was available. if seating outside you used the App and they brought a menu over and you then went to the counter and ordered + paid and everything was then brought out to you including cutlery and salt and pepper. I found it very safe and secure and the food excellent

1 adult pizza, 1 kids pizza, 3 servings of chips and 4 comes came to £35!! Could of got a meal in Dylan's cheaper

After a lovely day in betws yesterday on our way home we decided to try here as Llandudno was so busy, we were so hungry as it was 2.50pm when we arrived and there was 2 other tables sat in the restaurant, we ordered 1 pizza and 2 chips, the other two tables were served, ate, left, cleared up at 3.35 and no sign i asked my partner to go and check as we ordered at 3pm, the waitress was very apologetic and lovely and said they had made a mistake and not taken the order through to the kitchen, although a little aggietated I understand that mistakes happen so 45 mins later 1 pizza, 2 chips arrive, and this where I am marking them down, not because they forgot our food We were given no cutlery No napkins Although we waited 45mins and had finished our drinks we weren't offered a complementary drink for the mistake (for the price of 2 cokes I think its a small price to pay to keep locals happy, as they are the business once the tourists are gone) We weren't checked on at all Pizza was OK but you can tell they hadn't cleaned the bottom od the pizza stove very well, Chips were very good All the staff are young staff except the chef and 1 elder lady waiting on, there was about 9 staff on that i noticed and NOT 1 of them noticed and thought of theyve been there a long time, or checked on us after they were made aware, it was not busy. There is arrows to follow on the floor for covid 1 way system, no one was walking one way and no one was stopping them, none of the staff are wearing masks or visors, and i didn't see or was I made aware of any hand sanitiser. This was our first meal out since lockdown and it was a shame it was a bad one, also I dont really like writing poor reviews especially after lockdowm when businesses will be struggling but mark sort your staff out,and if you don't have a manager I suggest you get one.

Visited Bodafon farm yesterday after seeing on the government website that they joined the eat out to help out scheme, on ordering my food and drinks for a family of 4 was told after putting my order in that they hadn’t sent the forms off to join so weren’t actually part of the scheme!!! So what we thought would be a nice cheap day out turned into a an expensive 1!!! Not happy why would they be on the government website when they hadn’t actually joined it 🤔 not happy to say the least so be warned people!!

My husband, 1 year old and I visited Bodafon Farm Park today and decided to eat in the restaurant which we have done before. Despite only 1 diner being in the restaurant, we had to clear our own table. Also, despite there being a staff member in the dining area when we arrived, she walked past our table, completely ignoring us and went into the back. Not even a 'hello'. My husband then went and stood by the bar area to order for 5 minutes, yet noone came out. This was annoying considering we could hear the two waitresses laughing and giggling in the kitchen. We waited another 5 minutes before deciding to go and spend out money elsewhere. This isn't the first time that we have attended this restaurant and the service being shocking however we thought we would give it another try. I can't believe the lack of customer service and rudeness from staff. We don't be returning. Don't waste your time and money here!

We attended a family wedding here, after the main event in an adjoining room we enjoyed a fantastic three course meal. The quality of the meal and service was fantastic, one of the best we have ever had. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering this as a venue for their big day!

I visited the farm yesterday with my daughter and grandson, my grandson loved feeding the animals! Sadly the food was a bit of a let down. The pizzas were actually very tasty, but the vegetarian burger was very disappointing. It was advertised as home made but tasted like a cheap supermarket one. It came plain on a dry bun with no salad etc. The accompanying coleslaw was a mere tablespoon of unseasoned/undressed grated cabbage and carrots. Thankfully there was a bottle of mayonnaise on the ta ble for me to add some! The price was just under £10 which I'm afraid was poor value for the standard. I don't mind paying this or a good quality home made burger. Maybe the chef could look up some new recipes, I would be more than happy to try them out!

Obviosly cooked from frozen thawed in a microwave to the extent both were tastless all dried up. THEIR dogs had most of them and at £10 plus each a rip off. Don't bother to go

Came across this venue as we had a holiday let locally and were recommended by our hosts. Wandered into the back entrance to investigate as they were closing on a Friday and met Mark,who was very friendly and told us to just wander around if we wished and get a feel for the place ! We asked about Sunday lunch and he recommended booking,as Sunday lunch is popular, so we decided to take a chance -- so glad we did-- excellent lunch, generous portions,varied menu, good quality, Very friendly,laid back staff and informal casual atmosphere. Only negatives, maybe just a little too laid back in attitude and a little bit pricey for a farm cafe, but not excessively so and would not hesitate to return.All in all, well recommended and a good find, good visit if on holiday in the area,with lots of birds and animals to see at no additional cost.

We were lucky enough to get a table as we hadn’t booked and it was pretty busy (would recommend booking if you’re heading there and Hoping for food). Good choice on the menu, I opted for the beef Sunday dinner and my husband had a burger and chips. Little one had a hot dog and chips which was a decent size portion. Husband thought the burger was really good and my beef Dinner was lovely. Plenty of vegetables to accompany too. Would highly recommend a visit!

Been here many times before but mostly had snacks, this time stopped by for a proper meal for my sons 14th birthday. We sat outside under the canopy as we had dogs with us. Even though they were very busy the staff seemed unfazed and courteous. We ordered two Sunday roast dinners and fresh Conwy mussels, all delivered hot tasty and in good time. Very good value for money. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and can’t wait to eat here again!

I came here for breakfast and it was a good choice. The veggie breakfast was very filling and very tasty. The restaurant was very clean and the service was good.

We usd bodafon as our wedding venue, we knew about this place as we take the kids here all the time, having our wedding here was just perfect, we had a medieval wedding the bbq food we had wad outstanding everyone was telling us how great the food was, thank you so much for everything we will be back soon with the kids.

We visited on a sunny Saturday afternoon & were surprised how quiet it was.

Arrived at farm lunchtime so thought we’d grab something quick at the restaurant. It’s such a quirky lovely place we felt like we were in Greece. We had tuna ciabattas warm and served with salad and homemade coleslaw also pizza which is made there and cooked in pizza oven. Delicious meal and reasonably priced. The farm was good but I would go back just to eat there.

My first sighting of this restaurant, we were mislead by the satnav on our way to a holiday cottage of a similar name that was actually located just behind this farm.

Fresh home cooked food great flavour great portions great value great atmosphere. On a sunny day almost like being in a Spanish type flowery courtyard. View of the bay stunning. Big owls and peacocks to see and a lovely stroll.

En realidad vivimos en Llandudno, así que conocemos Bodafon Farm. Por lo general, aparecemos allí para tomar una bebida o un refrigerio. La semana pasada decidimos ir a cenar con mi cuñado y su familia. ¡GUAUU! ! ! Experiencia gastronómica absolutamente increíble. No solo la comida era fabulosa, sino también el servicio y un entorno encantador, como ningún otro. Los niños tenían pizza fantástica de un horno de leña y disfrutamos magnífico souvlaki de pollo y el mejor bistec que tuve durante años. Amistoso.

¿Por qué no he frecuentado este lugar más a menudo por comida? Esta tiene que ser la mejor cena de asado vegetariano, definitivamente está en mi top 10 después de hoy.

Muy buen ambiente relajado con mesas tanto en el interior como en el exterior y una excelente selección de comida, desde pizza cocinada en un horno de pizza al aire libre y comida de barbacoa hasta comida más tradicional.

I eat out often and I have to admit this was the greatest Sunday dinner I've ever had! Food was amazing and the whole atmosphere was filled with love. The rustic charm of the place is complimented by the smell of the log fire and the friendliness of the staff. Euphoric bliss at it's most and just a perfect afternoon.

In With the family for a roast, the beef was amazing along with the rest of the food. A really cozy atmosphere with great and friendly service. A gem not to be missed.

Visited with my wife and son on Sunday, food was top notch. Thought they finished service at 6, got there just before 5 only to find out later they finished at 5. It didn't matter a bit. Two massive roast dinners with a more than enough veg for 3 nevermind 2 were quickly placed in front of us and for 13 quid each worth every single penny. Everything a roast dinner should be cooked perfectly.

I have written a full review in my review of the wonderful farm. We must just have been on an off day. The pizza oven was not working and so there was a long long wait for our order. We were given free chips and had to take the pizza home as it took so long to come. The food though, is very good. The main problem seems to be understaffing for the amount of covers on a sunny August lunch time. Having to queue at the one ordering point takes ages as well. I won't go again unless the grand children want to eat there again next year.

Went to experience Jazz at the Llandudno Jazz Festival.... good venue , food was just what we wanted in an informal setting....great views of the bay and plenty for kids to do during the day ...at no charge ...unusual these days... more events here please.......oh some of the beers were not being served which was sad because they looked excellent.

Delicious Sea Bass. Delightful staff. Very friendly. Don't understand why they don't charge for entry into farm. On down side could have done with being a bit cleaner, but it is a working farm

Really nice food in lovely surroundings with a continental feel. My husband really enjoyed the pizza from the wood fired pizza oven outside. We will be re-visiting soon.

Good range of snacks and tasty food including a wood fired pizza oven output of which was enjoyed.Mozarella,tomato and pesto on ciabatta with small salad side and chips very good as was a BLT with salad.Chips really tasty with good coffee and ice creams for the children.Prices reasonable and staff friendly.

Una experiencia decepcionante parada a. Comida Real galés. Donde estaba? Nada llamado en el menú - sólo desayuno - sí, de qué? Nos dijo que un bocadillo de salchichas o tocino sandwich. Pedimos uno de cada uno era de £3. 75 para dos rebanadas de pan blanco normal en rodajas y 2 salchichas cálido luke cortados por la mitad. caliente Taza de té y café que había bebido en el momento de la comida llegó. No me impresionó mucho. Preciosa preciosa ubicación - justo establecimientos no organizados. Lo siento chicos y quizás las camareras se parecen un poco más feliz?

Came here with my husband and two teenage boys for Sunday Lunch - had been last year, so we knew it was good. Perfect again - great food, great service, reasonably priced and well worth a visit. Went round the farm after, which is always nice. Highly recommended for the best Sunday Lunch in Llandudno!!

Dog and kid friendly place. Woodfired pizza was amazing. The staff catered for a change of menu and woodfired the garlic bread too! Sat outside in the courtyard with drinks whilst the kids played. Fantastic afternoon!

The Sunday roast is beautiful! Kids are happy there as are we so we often end up there!! Pizza's are amazing too!

Myself and my girlfriend were over in llandudno for the day the beginning of the month, we're huge lovers of afternoon tea and found that they served it here. It was gorgeous! The orange and chocolate cake was delicious. Would definitely recommend going to anyone & it'd be great for kids too

Visited this lovely little farm for afternoon tea, booked through Groupon and although it was a wet & miserabe day we had a wonderful time. They catered for our needs no problem at all. We had BlT sandwiches (bacon still warm) and ham sandwiches, freshly made that day scones with jam and their own made cream these were absolutely gorgeous, followed by a choice of cake, we had carrot cake and salted caramel slice. Latt'e and hot chocolate. Top class food friendly staff. Then off out to visit the birds of prey, cows, llama, donkey's, chickens, goats all on the farm. Highly recommend this for all families and couples. Many Thanks Bodafon Farm, will definitely be visiting again soon.

Have been many times now the good standard of food and ales has been maintained on every visit very relaxing no rush place no frills but service and willingness particular if you have children to help is excellent eat outside (heated)or in Sunday roast is brilliant if they have their venison stew on well worth a try.good for families or intimate 2.gòod parking free is a bonus .keep it on your list .

Thick beef .. very tender .. creamy mash , cheesy leaks.. veg to perfection ! Warm welcome , log fire . It does not get any better than this . Can't recommend this place enough . A must for rustic food , cosy and great value .

I visited today for a New Year lunch and the food was very good quality. The animals they had were good, and I think the work they do with the owls are fantastic! Only down side to our visit was a member of staff, we were there at a very busy time so I understand it can be stressful but she just wasn't very friendly and didn't seem comfortable with the amount of people in the cafe. The service was also delayed as she was busy talking to one of her friends. Other than that I would definitely recommend!

Was ok. Entertained the kids, but not to my liking. Cold and windy. Dogs everywhere and barking. Loud. Food very hot. But could do better.

Good set up. Outside Area to sit and mingle with friends and family while awaiting for the barbecue to be cooked. Plenty of food to eat and plenty of choice, food cooked to perfection . The bar area also has seating area for people to sit and chat. There is a separate room for music and dance. The whole evening was fantastic . The band was organised separately, the venue was very accommodating to all requests

This is our second visit to the farm restaurant for Sunday lunch and it was even nicer than the first time. There's a few reviews on here complaining about the price but I can honestly say that I have no complaints about the price or the food, if you want mass produced carvery Sunday lunch elsewhere then you will pay a little less but it won't be any where near as nice as the Sunday lunch from here, it was quite busy but we didn't have to wait long for our food, the roasties are the best we have had , definitely worth a visit just for those beauties. We booked in advance so there was no reason to worry about not getting a table either, the dogs don't bother you and it is a farm so there will be some farm stuff around that isn't spotlessly clean too. We have had snacks, hot and cold drinks, hot and cold food and it has always been lovely, well recommended and worth a visit. Once you visit you will always return.

Wow! We've been coming to Wales for teens of years for our holidays several times a year. We have tried many places over the years for our Sunday lunch but have never found one that was just like eating a proper Sunday roast - until now. After browsing the net we came across the Cartwheel cafe and decided to give it a try, what a find. The food was superb, wonderfully served, tasted great the meat was succulent and tasty and the vegetables were lovely and fresh cooked to perfection. Beautiful setting inside and outside ( we sat in the courtyard ) the staff were all helpful and friendly. We will certainly be back.

We've been to the Cartwheel Cafe at Bodafon Farm Park a few times and never been disappointed. The Sunday lunch was best I've had (outside of home!) for quite some time with exceptionally lean beef and veggies that looked like they'd been picked just before being cooked. I've also tried the Bodafon Burger a couple of times, a little more expensive than what you'd pay in a run-of-the-mill fast food joint but there's nothing run of the mill about this burger, it's excellent and well worth every penny. In the summer there's an outdoor courtyard were you can eat with a huge barbeque pit that's used to cook steaks and burgers. There's also a licensed bar for alcoholic (and other) beverages. All in all this is arguably the best cafe in Llandudno and that's without taking into account the fact that you can go and visit the Llamas after you've finished eating.
