Carnoustie Chippie in Angus

Best chippy in the whole of Carnoustie and Monifieth. Loads of food in suppers and cheap. The other chippers in this area are just taking the Mickey min with tiny portions of chips and tiny fish suppers. Steeple along the road is extortionately overpriced along with Seaway in Monifieth and both places served tiny portions

Me and my husband were in a couple weeks ago for 2 fish suppers which were a good sized portion and tasted lovely and we can't complain about the service either as we were served by a nice older gentleman who seemed to be the fryer who had a conversation with us about his holiday when we said we were going to visit Cyprus in the summer, we were also served by the cashier who was a lovely young girl who was smiley and was happy to serve us, she even moved our fish to put salt and vinegar on the all the chips which we really appreciated. Definitely recommend!!

Actually ended up here by accident but glad we decided to try ne and my partner both give this top marks .everything we had was perfection and I am definitely going back the curry sauce was unbelievable and the chips were up there with the best I've had and to top it all off it is very reasonably priced this is now my favourite chippy and will be driving to it from forfar passing 3 or 4 chippies to get this one 10 out of ten

We asked for chips and carton of curry we asked what curry is it and the bloke behind the counter in astern voice said it’s chip shop curry. my wife could hear him in the car outside . I didn’t like the way he spoke to me .Im not a little kid who just walked in the curry was not nice and the chips were small portions .Some of them where hard .it was the first time in the chippy and it will be the last I would not rate it .I think it time he hanged is apron up and call it a day.

Fish supper is so so so tasty and reasonable. Fish was really good and freshly fried. It comes with lots of fries and costs only 7.50. It's a small takeway shop very near to Carnoustie beach which is only open on Fri, Sat, Sun. They only accept cash. You can withdraw cash from nearby COOP booth.

Had a bag of chips passing and couldn’t believe when they said the price was £1.50. At the moment where everything is going up, this place seems to have incredibly good prices. Size of the bag was great, and the chips were delicious.

Best fish and chips I have ever had. Light crispy batter on the fish. Chips are always perfectly cooked. And it cost £6.50!! Visit Carnoustie? Visit the Carnoustie chipper!!

Average, I suppose. Not much competition. Can be very greasy at times Service however fairly quick.

Excellent chipper better than belmonte but that's a great chippy too I'm haven fish n chips tonight
