By far the best Indian takeaway in the area.. A little tip for you, go for the Bihari Rice, you won't regret it.. UNREAL!! Lamb chop starters are 10/10 too.. I've tried a lot of Indians and this tops them.. I've never eaten in the restaurant, but I do plan to try when the opportunity presents itself!

Went here last weekend, heard really good things so wanted to try it. Large party of 8, and can honestly say it was sooo delicious from start to finish. I had the sea bass to start and sizzling chicken for main, and it was cooked to perfection and packed with flavour. The staff were lovely too. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we all had different dishes. Highly recommend and will deffo return!

I couldn't decide on what curry I wanted and explained to the staff, I wanted chicken, lamb and prawns madrass heat. They said no problem we can make what you want! It was amazing 🥰. My son wanted the prawn starter but he asked for them fried/ battered. The lovely staff did that for him free of charge. They were all so friendly and accommodating. Honestly this place is 10/10 for quality of food and service!

Absolutely 100% without a shadow of a doubt, THE best local Indian takeaway. Nothing else compares. We have a takeaway from here most weeks and have been customers for a long time. We haven’t had a dine-in experience for a while, but the restaurant is looking fabulous with mood lighting, flowers and beautiful new chairs. The daal tonight was amazing. We love the onion rice, tandoori chicken and the chicken kuchi as well as Mumbai balti delight. We’ve never had a bad meal from Cardamon. The staff are lovely too ☺️

Have eaten in a few times and it has been delicious on every occasion. Friendly service and tasty curries, will be back! Have tried the purah gosht, handi, shatkora and Kerala, all of which were flavourful and I would certainly recommend.

Have ate inside here a few times previously (albeit a long time ago!) And it was fine...This was my first time ordering for collection ever (And first order for years!)...I always thought a mixed kebab starter came with onion bhaji 's 🤔 My takeaway order, didn't? All other food ordered was fine But the bill seemed Pricey! And had to wait 10 - 15 mins (even after arriving a minute or two (max) after our advised collection time...Was given 2 free poppadoms...

A brilliant place to go with the family for quality and tasty food. I can't recommend the food highly and their customer service is absolutely amazing. Thank you for a wonderful evening and great food.

I order takeaway to Barnsley because the food is outstanding full of flavour and not swimming in grease or bright red, a good curry should be a nice shade of brown. These are excellent curries. I won't go anywhere else now. AAAAA+++

The food was excellent one of the best meals in a long while, excellent curry and naan bread, the naan was just the right size not like the big doughy ones ya get elsewhere. The curry had some nice big juicy pieces of chicken and plenty of flavour not swimming in grease. The special rice was excellent aswell, delivery was early and delivered by a polite driver. Our new place to go for an Indian meal. Keep up the good work AAA+++

Ordered a takeaway starter was lovely. Main was tasty and spicy but unfortunately only 6 pieces of chicken and the rest was sauce not value for money. The keema had keema in one side again tasty but not value for money. Such a shame

Had chicken jalfrezi and it was very hot! Not like usual jalfrezis couldn’t eat it , onion bhaji had no taste and dry , won’t be ordering again !

Food was cold, worst pickle tray I've ever experienced from an Indian. Was really looking forward to my tea tonight and was mega disappointed after spending almost £48. Think it was last nights leftovers partly warmed up cos the poppadoms were like rubber.

Food was wonderful and very flavoursome, although I did order the special, which should have had chicken, lamb and prawns, unfortunately there were no prawns. That being said we still enjoyed it and would recommend.

A beautiful meal delivered tonight by Cardamon. Sauces were exquisite and the chicken was in large tender pieces. Delivery was fast and the people taking orders and delivering were friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Quite expensive for the portion size. Ordered for delivery at 7:30 but it arrived at 6:55 as I stepped out of the shower. Driver couldn’t understand this being a problem. Received a notification at 7:25 to say the driver was on the way. It was already eaten by then.

Food was lovely, bit pricier than others but it was a lovely meal and we throughly enjoyed it.

Can't get enough of this place!!!!

I have been going here for over 12 years and I have finally removed them from my list. I ordered tandoori half chicken 🐔 but it was vile, burnt and a long way from fresh. They used to be fantastic but replaced the Chef and each and every time it gets worse. I will not be reordering again when there are so much choice around. I cannot recommend them to anyone while they are turning out such low quality and sub standard food.

Went for a meal (last minute planned) on a Wednesday. The service was excellent 👌 and food was amazing, just the way I wanted it, tasting Authentic and with a kick 😋. Very friendly service, very attentive, food being excellent. Definitely recommend

Had take away. I've had it a lot and it always arrives hot and is always delicious.

Ordered a takeaway but the food was uneatable due to being too spicy hot (I do like spicy food)not just mine but my wife's and daughters were exactly the same so ended up throwing it away. Won't be using again that's for sure!

We have been trying to find a new local Indian takeaway so gave Cardamon a go after reading the recent positive reviews online. Our order came within about 30-40 minutes of ordering which was earlier than estimated. The food was fresh, flavourful and not greasy. We will definitely be ordering again.

Curry was good but no where near as good as usual unfortunately! Sides were as always brilliant and the order arrived earlier than expected (35mins from ordering!) delivery driver was very polite and apologised for being late even though they weren’t! Will definitely order again as we’ve never had a bad meal and I wouldn’t class this as a bad meal just below normal for them- assuming because it’s a busy Friday night!

Lovely curry. The naga chilli is fire, the levels of flavour you get before the heat is fantastic. And the Garlic King Prawn Noni is beautiful. Banging curries.

No alcohol license, but the food was fantastic. Prawn Pathi starter 🤤hot and taste. Sizzler main pawn, chicken and lamb🤤🤤🤤. Six in the group and no issues.

It used to be the best but a few months ago something changed. I have tried to stay a loyal customer but tonight’s attempt has finally convinced me to look elsewhere for my takeaway.

It used to be very good but for the last six months there has been a distinct change and its not for the good, it's definitely a step down. I will try them again in about six months but for now my weekly takeaway will be somewhere else like the Saffron Spice.

Extremely disappointed with our takeaway food tonight, considering the star rating overall from previous reviews. We have paid £57 for two of us, and it really wasn’t worth it. The popadoms tasted old, and were soft. The bhajis tasted burnt and had been reheated. The chips were so undercooked they were inedible. The mains, rice and naan bread were fine, though the tandoori chicken was pink in places. The tandoori mixed grill was so overpriced. We won’t be ordering again unfortunately.

The curry was amazing as always, but the food was not very hot at all. In fact I had to reheat the curry which was very disappointing I'm afraid. First time I've ordered for delivery in some time. It's never been cold previously.

Rude staff, mediocre to say the least. 1st and last time I will be visiting. No alcohol license and not allowed to BYOB?? Poor drinks choices too…Young members of staff who would rather stand and chat than clear tables that have been left for sometime.

Would've been full stars but i found a meat piece size bone in the lamb curry and it put me right off. The rest was very nice.

It rare to find a place that does Handi so I was very excited when i saw this on the menu. Delicious and just the right amount of spice. Is a cash only business but there is a cash machine across the road.

Amazing food, prompt service no errors and our group was big. These guys do not have a booze license but there are plenty of pubs just a stone's throw away.

Just had a truly abysmal experience with this restaurant. Ordered our food, told 45 mins to 1 hour, fine, no problem. After 1½ hours, tried chasing up our order, but phone constantly engaged. After 2 hours, finally got through to be told food not coming, they couldn't find our house...!! (We're regular customers). Why didn't you ring us back, we asked? We're too busy, we were told....!?! Won't be using again, absolute joke, you've been warned 😆

Had a takeaway was really disappointed.Chicken pasanda tasted like korma with garlic thrown in and literally 6 pieces of chicken in it.Keema bhuna not great either..£30 for 2 not great curry’s few popadoms and a Nan bread.very dissapointing.

Awful food Naan bread was like a tortilla dense, soggy. Naga curry was so full of oil and dry chicken! Really not nice. Poppadoms were okay? 1st and last time very disappointed

Absolutely shocking food so disappointed, cold half cooked chicken forgot the nan bread I'd paid for , onion bhaji unedible hard and overcooked, half bag of undercooked chips ,also added a fiver on price ??? Straight in the bin First and LAST time I will ever spend my hard earned cash here!

Very mediocre portion sizes and bland tasting curries. At the steep price of £35 for 3 curries, 1 rice, 1 chips and naan bread we was less than impressed. Little to no meat in all 3 curries and the meat that was in them was gnarly and chewy, also a piece of plastic and a hair in one of them! The chips and naan bread was so soggy they stuck to the paper bag. Shocked as we have never had a bad meal once in the restaurant however the takeaway was awful! Can’t beat Naayabs

Food lovely but 2 weeks on trot they have added nearly £6 on price even though we asked price first! Apparently price is variable to menu

The best daal tadka I have ever had. Hesitantly I also ordered Motor paneer as it was made with chickpeas instead of matar i.e. green peas. But I’m so glad I did, loved it. Best was unlike most curry places their oil , masala and gravy didn’t overtake the paneer and chickpeas. The taste was just perfect and very light . How much I enjoyed my meal can be seen in my pic here 🤩. Highly recommended.
