Friends told me about Capri and how nice it was. I went earlier on this evening and wasn’t disappointed. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was very good. Friendly and helpful and it had that really good Italian feel to it. I’ll definitely be going back

It's a fantastic restaurant, brilliant service and the food is excellent. The quality of the food for the price makes it outstanding value. Compliments to the chef, Armando. I give it 5 * all day long.

Got us in last minute, I'm super pregnant right now and I was hot and hungry and I felt sick. They fed me gave me lots of water and all for a reasonable price. I loved the margarita pizza and the tiramisu was gone in 5 minutes. The Albanian lady serving us was very helpful despite having to serve 15 other tables as well. It was great ! Thank you, our new staple restaurant.

This is my go to place for a bit of breakfast after a night shift; Mary is so lovely and chats with her customers, amazing food highly recommend

Excellent food at very reasonable prices, especially the breakfast. Outside space a real bonus in good weather. Quick, friendly and efficient service. Thoroughly recommended.

Great meal here recently. Though the restaurant is small, the atmosphere is great. The food was well priced and servings were large. The bruschetta starter was particularly delicious, would definitely recommend.

The food was fresh and very tasty. My other half and myself are very hard to please but the sausages passed with flying colours thank you we will return soon

Really enjoyed our lunch at Capri today. We have a strict dietary requirement and this was easily accommodated. More importantly the requirement was well understood and so did not need much explanation.

This Italian cafe cum restaurant is an amazing dining experience. Delectable and authentic dishes. Excellent value for money and the owner and staff are equally amazing and courteous! Will come again defo!

Had a great small breakfast here. Very good service. Tasty food which was cooked well. Sausage was a bit budget and underwhelming.

Got recommended, and can only say that it matched everything I was told about, lovely local venue, staff were fantastic, and most of all the food, lasagne for me and salmon tagliatelle for my partner, absolutely delicious, look forward to frequenting in the near future

Five of us ate here for the first time yesterday. We ordered five different dishes and all enjoyed some really good freshly prepared food. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed. It all made for a lovely family occasion. Definitely one to recommend.

Called here Sunday lunchtime and we received a warm welcome at this clean and tidy establishment. The starters of tomato & basil soup & garlic mushrooms accompanied by fresh bread & butter were all delicious. The mains were mushroom pizza & a garlic & tomato pizza both of which were excellent. The lasagne was also delicious, my only slight niggle is that it would have been perfect with a little more meat. The service was impeccable. The coffee is fantastic. Parking is good.

I was in this lovely place yesterday with my husband. And I really want to recommend it. Cappuccino was the 1 of the best in my life. The chocolate fudge cake was delicious 😋 and my husband really liked his almond cake😊 Atmosphere was really good. I want to say big thanks to Mary, she made our morning 🫠🥰

Saturday 4th November. Great evening here with fabulous food, great service from the two young guys. Would highly recommend. We were a group of 10 nothing was too much trouble.

Our meals were excellent. Very tasty. Staff were great. We would definitely recommend Capri.

We came here after a hospital appointment as no-one wanted to cook afterwards! We had no idea what it would be like and it was delicious! We had starters, mains and pudds as everything was so tasty! If you are in the area and fancy an Italian, this is a great place to visit!

Don’t be put off by what it was previously. Superb food, great service by alphonso and the team. Good prices and a pint was cheap!

Great local restaurant. Staff lovely , food fab, owner / chef is a lovely friendly guy . Wine prices very reasonable. . Menu is plenty full and usually a special of the week . For those with a smaller appetite you can order half portion of pasta type dishes . I would recommend booking a table (maybe not in all cases ) as is a small restaurant (I could actually see this moving to a larger premises as it’s really taken off in such a short time) breakfast is served till about noon then lunch menu, closes 2.30 pm then reopens 5.30pm for evening service .. well done Capri .

Just been for Sunday lunch at Capri, this was our 3rd visit and it just gets better and better, the food is absolutely delicious and the staff can’t do enough to make you enjoy your stay, I couldn’t recommend it enough

I had a lovely lunch in Capri today. This is a little gem a bit hidden. I had Tagliatelle Stroganoff, divine 😋 and my friend had a Lasagna dish which she literally polished, meringue with fruit and icecream for dessert. A small place with a nice background music and lovely decoration inside. A place you definitely want to revisit! Very happy with the service too 😊

Loved our first visit to Capri Roundhay. It's a really attractive and cosy little restaurant, and the staff are brilliant - very friendly and welcoming. The food was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious ...we're already looking forward to visiting again :o)

Nice enough, I’d score a 6.5/10. Really average pizzas compared to some local competition. Decent pasta dishes. Service very average. On the whole underwhelmed and probably won’t return!

Great dinner with the husband. Lovely food and atmosphere. It’s lovely having such a great Italian local to us, we’ll definitely be back!

Great food, service, staff and value for money

Had a lovely relaxed dinner for two in this new hidden gem. It wasn't very busy when we went around 8pm on a Friday, but I think it's just opened and they haven't done much marketing yet. We had the king prawn pasta and an amazing fillet steak with sides, all cooked to perfection. Simple, yet fantastic, like all good Italian food. Washed down with an ice cold peretti on tap. Would recommend. Great, friendly service. Reasonably priced. Nice and chilled; atmosphere will pick up further as it gets busier, which I'm sure it will do. Enjoy

Ordered takeaway this evening. Given 5 stars for atmosphere even though we didn't eat in purely for the homely comfortable feeling my daughter reported back to me whilst picking up food. The pizzas were exceptional, all fresh, hot and plenty of toppings. Really good quality food and a welcome edition to the area, lovely waiter that took the order too.
