Cakery & Bakery in South Lakeland

Just come across this place on a long drive home and it just what we needed! Great food, value & staff! The cakes are absolutely delicious.

Lovey café and nice coffee, cakes were to die for nice owner, great menu. Parking on a Friday not good as the market is on and they block the route in which is a pain, it wont put us off though.

Called in to try for lunch. Wonderful little cafe/takeaway set up. Very clean and fresh and very obliging staff and owners. Very busy takeaway service and all staff are very courteous. Food and drinks are excellent. Highly recommended. Note for you takeaways of the hot food variety it is worth phoning your order through to save waiting. Excellent selection of food,drinks and cakes, traybakes.

Breakfast had a fantastic breakfast all fresh quality value for money and very friendly staff ill be back on a regular basis

For a small cafe this has a good menu for eat in and takeaway. I had a small breakfast and my husband had a large breakfast. There were also breakfast sandwich options. There is also a lunch menu and a lite bites (snack) menu. Prices are reasonable and service is good.

Cakery and Bakery does what it says on the tin. It’s a smart and very tidy little cafe cum tea shop with a bakery. They have a decent menu of hot and cold meals and snacks as well as sandwiches, cakes etc. We simply had tea and toasted tea cakes and the tea was served in generously sized teapots. The tea cakes were also of a good size and very tasty. Service and prices were all top class.

Popped in by chance when passing and a table just came free. Ordered a coffee then a toastie and finished off with a blonde…

Lovely, clean, cosy, modern but traditional. Immaculate. Enough seating for 12, dogs welcome. Best full loaded burger, recommend. The most delicious chocolate orange cake and the best white chocolate rocky road ive ever had. Great price for a cup of tea which is a bonus. Usually take out and sit by river, perfect. Well done

Had a lovely lunch here today Every thing was freshly prepared The owners are very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble The menu is very well priced Coffee was made just to our taste Jacket potatoes were very tasty and served with a lovely salad Now sitting at home with gorgeous mint chocolate cake Will definitely visit again Good luck with your new venture
