Waited 2 hours and when i called them for an updat the woman was very rude! DO NOT ever order from Cakeaway!!! There was another guy who I spoke to and he just hang up on me!

These scammers were happy to take my money, take 2 hours to tell me my food was on its way, then failed to show. Shocking customer service. Women on the phone sarcastic git. Post on just eat for Glossop even though they are miles away but it didn’t say that. Stay clear but if you don’t believe me, go to their Facebook page and see the comments of customers who they have also messed about.

It’s a shame you can’t leave lower than a one star where to start rude staff tried ringing multiple times about my order took 2 hours for it to turn up the cheese cake was stale was sour and the smell when opening the box was sickly I can honestly say they need shutting down will never be ordering from here again they also blamed our late order on the delivery driver that he had our order for over an hour our milkshake turned up freezing so we knew it was a lie

2 hours late and smelt rotten I didn’t even try the food after the vile smell it let off. Also very rude staff, it need shutting down. Absolutely disgusting

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had. Ordered online, was told twice it was on way after a hour delay. Dared to call again to be told to eff off. Been coming here for over 7 years now. Mainly have milkshakes but like a cheeky sundae too!. Had caramac milkshake with extra bars its so good!. You need to try it. The staff are a lovely bunch of people.

i waited over 4 hours for my delivery. i called many times and each time i was told the food was on the way and it still hasn’t arrived. when i called i was told that my food was 15 minutes away, or the delivery driver has arrived at the postcode when they had not. we payed over £40 and were met with nothing but poor customer service and no help from staff on the phone. after waiting for a ridiculous amount of time, i called (yet again) and tried to cancel my order and when i did so, they employee on the phone quickly said the driver was right by when they were not. This place is a joke.

Waited 2 hours for the order , no communication or update until chased . Rang for a refund to be told we cannot have one as it’s nearly with us , food arrived milkshake was slop and cakes were cold . Would Never order again .

If your planning to order from here, make sure you order in advance. Maybe the day before or the morning before. It may and that's a very strong may, be delivered on time. Don't bother ordering anything hot as you won't get it hot. Ordered a cookie dough and it was stone cold and the cookie was so hard not even a knife went through it! Teeth breaker! If you order a milkshake, sound but then again you'll be waiting hours for it! Don't bother ringing up to see where your order is as you'll just get spoken to by crap and the phone will be put down on you. Avoid!

Ordered from here yesterday evening and considering how far away it was from me delivery time wasn’t too bad but the customer service was brilliant kept me up to date when I rang and really really friendly, food was really well presented and extra tasty! Will definitely order from here again!

Ordered and after seeing reviews then called up to check delivery time. Spoke to a really lovely lad who thanked us for our order and gave us a delivery time. Delivery driver arrived at the time states and the desserts were amazing!

We ordered from this restaurant at around 6:50pm with an estimated time of 7:10pm - 7:30pm. It got to around 8:15pm when we rang and got told the driver was round the corner, which he evidently wasn’t considering we had to ring back at 9:15pm just to have the phone answered by what seemed to be a child, or acting like a child, having a laugh and talking blatant lies about the reason it’s late and denied us a refund. I’d never order from here again and advise anyone reading this not to.
