What a gastronomic delight to the tastebuds we had, when popping in for lunch with friends today. Unsure of the offerings available for (two of us) being vegetarian, the menu and meal certainly did not disappoint. From the first mouthful it was impressively wonderful. Three empty plates from three friends and a promise to return very soon. A hidden gem of an eatery in the town of Mold. Thank you!

We came for breakfast and both enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. I booked a table via Facebook messenger and was sorted quickly. We had a great morning and will be back again and be telling friends and family how nice it was. Thanks again

Fantastic place for coffee, breakfast or lunch - have been many times, and it's always a go-to when in Mold. Rob's small but perfectly-formed menu, and excellent selection of changing specials, will have something to everyone's tastes. The bubble'n'squeak black pudding stack is exceptionally good. A warm welcome and a cosy and beautifully-decorated environment in which to relax. The fact that it's often really busy here, and difficult to get a seat, speaks volumes. Sure, this means that sometimes there's a bit of a wait for food when it's particularly busy - but that's because the food here is *great* food, not fast food.

Had a fantastic brunch in an absolutely beautiful cafe! What a great experience the decor is so innovative. Sat and chilled for a couple of hours. It gets very busy so we made a reservation to be sure we had a good table!

We had an absolutely fantastic visit to Caffi’r Cob! The food was incredible—especially the small breakfast, Greek omelette, and Welsh rarebit, which were all perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was brilliant, with friendly and attentive staff who made the experience even better. The newly refurbished extension to the café is beautifully decorated, adding a lovely atmosphere to the overall dining experience. I highly recommend Caffi’r Cob to anyone looking for great food and a welcoming environment. I’ll definitely be back soon!

My husband, son and I found this excellent cafe on our first visit to Mold together. I had spotted it when looking for parking and we traced our way back to it. I’m so glad we did. It’s a delightful place with such charming character. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Such a relaxing atmosphere and the owners/staff are lovely. Couldn’t recommend it more highly and we can’t wait to make a return visit. I hadn’t been to Mold for about forty years. It’s a great little town with individual restaurants and shops. I little jewel in the crown of North Wales.

Warm welcome for two of us plus golden retriever on a damp market day in Mold. Very tasty “Welsh” omelette, quality coffee and scone. The loos have eccentric decorations. Highly recommended for a mid-morning break.

Lovely little cafe, staff very friendly. The scones we had were delicious, and my husband loved his Cappuccino ( he’s very fussy with his coffee! ). Highly recommended, we will be back…..

Visited this gem of a place this evening for their Tapas night. Absolutely fabulous, unusual, delicious dishes. Chef/owner Rob combines the finest foods and produces mouthwatering, flavoursome masterpieces which look appealing and really set the tastebuds working. The food is so inviting I would highly recommend a visit. During the day there is a good choice of freshly prepared, interesting dishes with very enjoyable flavours. Would highly recommend this very special place.

What a fantastic little cafe this is!! Such a warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were lovely. Felt very covid safe with sanitiser stations around, masks, visors and socially distanced tables. The breakfast was gorgeous and the coffee delicious. We will definitely go back. Thank you!!
