Lovely cafe, they have an outside area and another inside area at the back you can enjoy your delicious food and coffee. Cosy and lovely decoration, staff very friendly

Nearly £9 for the smallest fry in my life ( All day breakfast on menu ) Disappointed as It was a good while since my last visit and was looking forward to a good lunch again. TBH you only get a 1/4 piece of soda & potato bread ( small fry size ) I thought they made a mistake and asked but was told this is what you get. Food was good and no complaints anywhere else but come on owner give proper portions for the price you charge please thank you !

Great spot for a quick breakfast or a hearty lunch. Often get breakfast baps for staff and they go down a treat. Very friendly staff and always a bit of craic to be had

One of the worst experiences I have ever encountered in Ireland. Parked outside and went in with a view to a lunch meal. Others came and got served, then got their food. We sat for over fifteen minutes with staff members passing regularly and totally ignoring us... Not even courteous enough to bring a menu while we waited.. got up and walked out to find somewhere more welcome.

Heading to Monaghan to see relations on New Years Eve morning and planned in a wee stop off in Caledon, haven’t been here in a couple of years. Seat at the window, ordered the small breakfast and poached eggs and toast and all in all it was great. The food was really nice and the atmosphere felt very homely.. Recommend it…

Stopped here yesterday, first time visit. Quirky place. Proper cafe food, with a menu suitable for children and adults. Main food options were delicious. Good portion sizes and prices. Various dessert options and hot custard was a delight. Nice coffee. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Clean toilet facility.

Best wee cafe around, wouldn't go anywhere else

Anytime we are coming this way we stop at the love Cafe Rose , we had that chance again today , food was superb as always , service both friendly and prompt it did not disappoint , hope we are back this way soon 😁

Came here for brunch on 12 March 2021 with my wife. Absolutely superb on every front. Not a single complaint or criticism. Everything was spot on. Staff were friendly, attentive, and first-rate. Food was bang on and extremely reasonably priced. Honestly, I'd have happily paid twice for that. It's nothing too fancy or imaginative, just good solid food done well by good people. If I was staying for longer I'd happily come back and work my way through the entire menu. Decor was very nice throughout, there's a nice casual vibe to the place, but don't let that fool you into thinking that there's anything second-rate or below standard about the place. Nice plates, cutlery, teapots, and glassware. Everything about this place is really perfect. It does the job it sets out to without being pretentious, overdone, or excessive Can't recommend these guys highly enough.

Came here with my wife for a Saturday Brunch on 12.3.2022. Our experience was great on all fronts. Absolutely superb. First-rate throughout. Food is straightforward, unpretentious, and done well. My wife had a full breakfast and I had a burger. Both were just what we were looking for. This place isn't particularly inventive or creative. It's just doing the basics well and if I were staying in the area for longer I'd happily come back and work my way through the rest of their menu. It's also very reasonably priced. To be honest, I'd happily have paid double for what we had. No chance you guys would like to come set up closer to where I live? Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The vibe there is relaxed and casual, but it's clear that there's a real pride from these guys in what they do and a good attention to detail in everything. Don't let the casual vibe make you think that there's anything that's less than immaculate about the crockery, the service, or the food. All of it is absolutely on point. Honestly can't recommend these guys strongly enough to anyone in the area looking for something unpretentious, friendly, and superb value.

Loved it. Quaint little cafe in the lovley picturesque village great service from staff and delicious food. Sizeable garden. had the high tea service and were delighted it included mini burgers wraps and sausage rolls as well as the tray bakes and fancies. Definitely recommend 👌

Lovely cafe in Caledon village with outdoor seating at the front and in a courtyard at the back. The shop sells quality local food like cheese, butter, black pudding and relishes. They also sell good quality tea and coffee for home use. I got a lovely cheese and ham jambon and a cappuccino to enjoy outside in the courtyard.

The food is just absolutely delicious 😋 service is the best. Whether you are just popping in for a coffee or one of their delicious meals and desserts you always get the best service 💕💕

Always different specials on a different home baked sweet treats. Always a pleasure coming here. Staff are so friendly and will always try to accomodate your special needs if any.

Myself and the wife called into this lovely cafe, I had the open prawn sandwich and the wife had fruit scone. Served in no time at all the prawn sandwich had fresh western and plenty of prawns. Real good choice on the menu. We sat out the back in the enclosed court yard in hot glorious sunshine, very friendly staff, well worth calling in.

Arrived on a busy Sunday morning in a group of 10 cyclist. We were seated in the courtyard area and attended to very well and made to feel that nothing was too much of a bother. Coffee was excellent.

I ordered a cake for my wife's Birthday. I sent a pic off what I wanted and wasn't expecting what I got, I was blow away, words couldn't describe it. It was everything I asked for plus more. The place really justs keeps delivering with every challenge I give them. Seriously for anyone wanting a cake or sweet treats this is the one stop place. They also do some yummy food from a fry, to a gourmet burger to a delicious pizza.

I got chips stuffing and gravy the gravy was black.i will never eat out of there again.the staff weren't that great.i was So sick after eating out of it.

A few of us from the local cycling club have called in to Cafe Rose for a wee coffee break on a couple of occasions when our route passes this way. It’s a great wee cafe and the staff are always happy to make up a mix of coffees and the odd scone which comes with butter, jam AND cream... lovely. Recommend it....

Called in for lunch and we were not disappointed the food was delicious but the deserts Omg so good mars bar cheese cake yummy staff very friendly service very quiet and it’s clean a big must will be returning

Me and my dad went to cafe rose yesterday I got chicken nuggets and chicken nuggets and he got eggs and bacon and chips and it was really nice

Once again this little gem of a place keeps delivering, I ordered a white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake and a mixture off cupcakes for Xmas day and as usual they were to die for, really the place doesn't get the credit it deserves and its in house Baker Shannon hats off to you.

I'm not a greedy person, but I ordered a large chip & I was disappointed when I opened my bag to find very little & this was to feed both me & my husband....

So I just got ripped off here again. Over £6 for this 'food'! This was meant to be a large portion of chips and a portion of sausages. Will not set foot here again.

Not a lot of options in Caledon for coffee and cake but you don’t need anywhere else when this is perfectly good. Lovely, friendly staff, small but delightful selection of cakes, light meals also looked good. The history on the walls also provided some very interesting reading.

I absolutely love this place. We had the best experience here. The food and atmosphere was perfect. The afternoon tea offers something different and quirky than most others. Can't reccommend this place enough. All the staff are so welcoming. My two year loved it aswell.

We had our daughters communion there on Saturday, from the moment we arrived we were looked after by all the staff, nothing was a problem, the food was amazing and hot, the kids made their own pizzas which they enjoyed, the restaurant was decorated with that vintage theme we were looking for. Would highly recommend it to anyone. And last but not least the cake which was made by Shannon who is the in house baker was absolutely delicious. Really we couldn't have asked for a better day. Thank you

We were at the cafe rose last Saturday for a small family celebration. We hired the little barn at the back of the cafe. it was really charming and so well decorated. Our meal was turkey and ham and was delicious, hot and so tasty. The children in our group were treated to making their own pizzas It was all so good. Afterwards the children made their own ice cream sundaes and the adult had a scrumptious white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake. But more importantly the service from the staff was excellent Thank you

Will never go again, over charged and chips are disgusting!!! Over priced and and under fed👍🏼 don’t even fill the containers half the way up.

Quirky wee joint! Delicious menu an funny titles! Nothings a bother if u do or don’t want part of what’s on the menu, they’ll cater to your likes! I’ve never had the fish in the many times I have eaten here, but I highly recommend it! And For coffee lovers, the coffees taste delightful. The deserts An tray bakes all being home made makes it more appealing, An are delicious!

the service is fantastic, the portions are brilliant and the coffee is top quality. But some of the food is slightly over priced, and I really don't recommend the fish but everything else is amazing

Esta cafetería es un placer para visitar, tiene un ambiente informal ambiente hogareño y el personal es muy agradable y amable.

Comprar pizzas en el café Rose, casera, sabrosa, muy agradable, no puedo opinar sobre cualquier otra cosa, pero sin duda prueba su pizza, vale la pena una visita, pequeño pero acogedor café.

Cuando se piensa que Cafe. Lo que creo que sopa, bandeja servían pastas y pasteles, ¿verdad? No está mal. El Rose café "fish and chips" es una enana, grasientas comida todo el año. Si el error de comer tu comida allí se le cobrará al menos £2 extra en la parte de arriba de la factura. Bien sentado es un lujo supongo! No. La comida es regular, pero no regresaré.

Pizzas increíbles! Llamado en una noche, me sorprendió la selección en el menú, sin duda algo para todo el mundo. tentado por las pizzas y opté por un 9" con una ciabatta de ajo por un lado. El servicio era muy bueno y el personal era muy amable y servicial. Pizza era de primera calidad, uno de los mejores que he tenido! He terminado, con un cono 99 - helado es tan agradable y todo estaba a un precio muy razonable. Sin duda volveremos!!

Always very friendly service here, the food is always hot and well cooked, plenty of seating at which to eat or wait for your order. Good value for money and open a good range of hours to satisfy a late night craving for chips! Especially enjoy their chicken fillet burgers and omelettes.....bring a good appetite with you!

Great portions just called in after being out for the day was surprised at the size of the meal. The staff were lovely and plenty of customer service. Would definitely be back if I'm down that way again.

Have been a regular customer at Cafe Rose for years and their food is still yet to disappoint! With a ever expanding menu at great prices Cafe rose is a always a perfect choice for a delicious bite to eat. The staff and owner are always welcome, and do their best to ensure each visit is a great experience. 5 stars!!

I frequent the café rose regularly , the menu is first class no item I've ever ordered has failed to satisfy me or anyone I take in with me , staff are friendly and helpful as is the owner anne H , if you are in the area try the café rose but Do not get mixed up with the other café in the village which sits on the corner , anne's café rose is next to the butchers and hairdressers , excellent value for your money

Stopped today with my wife and children , the menu is amazing with loads of choice , my son would be a picky eater and most kiddies meals only have chips but when I asked the friendly staff if we could have spuds instead they were very obliging , I had the steak baguette and I can honestly say it was awesome and very filling , my wife had the sirloin steak with all the trimmings and it looked delicious ! . Very homely place and brilliant value for money ! Will definitely stop here again !

Staff are great.. But if you want to be fed properly for the price you pay,keep driving! Very small portions and little choice. Nope!

We were passing through and needed to stop for a bite to eat. The owner had no problems serving all 7 of us and just put 2 tables together for us. I had the fry and it sorted out the previous nights hangover like nothing else. All of us left satisfied and now seem to be talking now more about the post night out feed than the night out itself.

I have ate in this cafe many of times and have got take-aways too, staff have all been very friendly and accommodating (even near closing time, when I'm sure they just want to get home).. The food is also top class and no order is too difficult even if its not on the menu.. Can't wait to go back..
