We absolutely loved the breakfast here. The fry and the panini are great and filling options. Will definitely go back!

Amazing food! Perfect spot for a breakfast

My elderly aunt and her friend were in Belfast for a day’s shopping when they stopped at this restaurant for a bowl of soup and a glass of water. Before they could place their order, another couple was seated and asked for their order first. My aunt quietly mentioned to her friend that they had arrived before them. The waitress overheard and responded that she had simply moved the couple from the front. My aunt, not wanting to cause any trouble, quickly said, “Sorry, I didn’t mean anything by it.” When the soup arrived, my aunt took a sip and found it to be cold—flavorful but freezing. When they informed the waitress, the “owner” came out and, in front of everyone, told them they weren’t welcome there. She stated that ordering just a bowl of soup and water wouldn’t cover her staff’s wages. Shocked and embarrassed, my aunt and her friend left. Other customers who witnessed the incident were equally appalled, with some saying they wouldn’t return. Your customers should always be your priority.

Great place for lovely old school comfort food I love the atmosphere lovely cup of tea and a fry. The young girl serving me was so lovely she saw I had tablets on the table to take and without me even asking she offered me a glass of water so thoughtful. The kind of service you would expect in these fancier places was found here today. Thank you

We stumbled across this restaurant and it was so nice we went back again the next day. It's in a great location. There is something for everyone on the menu and it is very family friendly. The staff are so friendly and helpful. A lovely little restaurant that I would definitely visit again if I was in Belfast

What a treat. We were up from Leixlip to see a band and stayed over - we found this place looking for breakfast before we headed back. The decor is lovely as are the people working there, and the food was mighty. I had veggie fry, my friend had Irish fry, both top, and a great pot of tea. Large portions (couldn't quite finish mine which was a bit sad, cos it was so good), decently priced. Definitely be back next time we're up.

Decided to call a visit today for the first time, We went for 2 Large Fry’s. Food was 10/10! At all not greasy everything very fresh tasting. Staff very chatty and welcoming. Bathroom was abit dirty and could be doing with a twitch of changes but was at peak of lunch time so could be why?? Overall Throughly enjoyed! Will hopefully be back in the future.

Ordered food on Sunday morning. Got a fry and tea. One of the members of our table ordered the ceaser salad, dressing was sour. The overall service was appalling nearly every member of the table was missing parts of their order. When we went to pay we had split the bill amongst ourselves the suggestion of paying separately was met with rolling eyes by the elderly staff member. She complained the entire time. As a person who myself also works in the hospitality industry I found the service provided by staff to be disgraceful. We were happy to pay for the food even though all of the meals were inedible. Would not recommend.

absolutely shocking. the food was dreadful we got a ceaser salad which was absolutely inedible the chicken tasted like rubber, lettuce tasted dirty the chorizo looked like it was bought a lidl and tasted awful and the sauce tasted gone off, half our order was forgotten and not brought out was told we couldn’t have toast because it took too long and the coffee tasted like the machine wasn’t cleaned since the place opened and the tea looked like dog water (photo included) and as we went too pay the manager rolled her eyes and said ‘yous are too complicated’ even though we only asked to pay. the bathrooms were dirty and looked like you’d catch something from being in them. the manager was rude and uncooperative. the chairs looked old as the leather was cracked and place looked dirty. the milk isn’t refrigerated it was stored on a shelf beside the hot kitchen. was disgusting and would not recommend to anyone.

Thought it was a pleasant looking cafe inside, looked clean. Food was horrible. Fish well over cooked and could tell it was a cheap frozen one. Mushrooms on breakfast smelled rancid. Fried eggs served hard and was told that's how they were supposed to be. Coffee smelled cheap and nasty. Tap water warm, no ice available. Not offered any sauces . Snotty manager. We complained and left and went elsewhere.

Older lady member of staff seems miserable, has no patience and doesn't seem to like children.

Cappuccino is just hot milk, no foam or froth. I’m sure the food must be good, the place is full.

Went in as Brights was queued out the door and was only next door, had never saw before but the fry was excellent and the staff were really courteous, will definitely be back.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. The service is friendly and I love the all day breakfast option. The other menu options are terrific as well. They don’t need to rely on offering a good fry but they do anyways. The person who rang me up was lovely to chat with.

Great wee place for a quick bite. Wide range of dishes, reasonably priced for the quality, good service and lovely, friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Called into Cafe Rosa for late lunch today, and it was fantastic! Panini bread was soft and fluffy, and the fries were piping hot. Large Fry was also excellent, with perfectly cooked eggs. Warm welcome, spotlessly clean, generous portions for very reasonable prices. We will definitely be back soon!

I visited this café during lunchtime feeling quite hungry. I opted for the lasagna, while my wife ordered the fish and chips. The lasagna arrived deliciously prepared with a side salad, and the fish and chips portion was notably generous. We had no complaints whatsoever; we were thoroughly satisfied and delighted with the food. Additionally, the waitress was exceptionally courteous and attentive. Special commendation to the entire staff team—we eagerly anticipate returning to sample more of the delectable offerings. xxx

Last Saturday, my mother and I decided to visit Cafe Rosa based on a recommendation from employees at Cafe Metz nearby. Unfortunately, our experience fell significantly short of our expectations, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. Upon ordering three main meals, I politely inquired about the possibility of receiving tap water. To my surprise, the lady taking our order, whose managerial status I'm uncertain of, expressed a disappointing stance. She informed us that tap water would only be provided if we ordered additional beverages. While this policy was unusual, I was willing to comply. We decided to order a pot of tea, but this, too, was met with resistance. The lady went on to explain the inconvenience of obtaining glasses, filling and then having to deliver them to the table. She lectured us on how we wouldn’t understand the way a restaurant works, although my family is in the industry. This rather loud speech drew attention from other diners. Despite our willingness to order additional drinks, her demeanour remained unfriendly and, at times, outright rude, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Feeling uneasy, I politely expressed our decision to leave, which she did not take kindly to. As we exited, I couldn't help but share my bewilderment at her behaviour, suggesting that such conduct might adversely affect the establishment's reputation. In response, she raised her voice, screaming back at me in front of the entire cafe. Given this unpleasant encounter, I cannot recommend this place. It's advisable to stay away for a more enjoyable dining experience elsewhere. Adding to the disappointment, it happened to be my mother's birthday, making this entire experience particularly disheartening.

Lovely staff and value for money

Terrible customer service and approach to adults and children. Don’t go unless you believe children should be seen and not heard. As most people know it takes children a few minutes to settle. While settling the children (3 year old , 4 year old) also sorting 2 small babies the manager approached us in a horrible manner and told us that she was not running a day care. This situation has never happened in anywhere we have taken the kids. This place is not child friendly or even adult and she spoke to us like garbage. Much better crossing the road to blinkers where you will find lovely staff members who made ourselves and the children feel right at home. Also a regular at many Costa and marks and Spencer’s cafes and never experienced anything like this. The lady should not be working with the public.

I was served a vegetarian fry on Thursday 10 November. The cooking oil was rancid and I could not eat the food. I went to the toilet to be sick and my table had been cleared. I was not well last night. I made a formal complaint and the waitness who took my card payment showed and she cared little for my complaint.

Hadnt been here before, but found the experience very good, the food was very good, as was the service, it also was a nice relaxed atmosphere with the laid back music.

Stopped by for some lunch, good selection of food to suit all the group. We went for a toasted wrap with salad - also available with chips. Service was quick and friendly, food was piping hot and the place was very clean. Would recommend for a refuel stop!

Total Disgrace! I’m really sorry but cesar salad it’s not made with only salad and a bit of buttered chicken which wasn’t even freshly cooked… It seemed to me that the chicken was only heated up in the microwave… It was so tasteless… By the way there was no garlicky croutons as well and creamy dressing was way too sour… The prices are way too high and quality of food is very poor… I definitely won’t be back!

Food was very poor quality chicken and chorizo cesar salad £9, chorizo slices cheapest quality ripped up In food with chicken strip cooked in oven and sliced up and big bowel of lettuce with no tomatoes or cucumber just bowl of lettuce plastered with mayo overall disaster, more like £1.99 meal guys mc Donald’s cesar salad is better than this .

Dropped in for a late breakfast yesterday. Quiet wee cafe with pleasant staff and nice non greasy Frys and choice of teas/coffee.

Good food but the menu is a little limited with mainly large portion items. Could do with a small plate section e.g. sandwiches/toasties with a simple garnish and without the chips or poached/scrambled eggs with toast served all day and not just for breakfast. Most things are just too large for my tastes.

Cafe Rosa was a great pit stop for a delicious and very good value for money breakfast during our weekend in Belfast. I enjoyed my Irish Fry and my partner enjoyed her Parmesan Eggs as they were both delicious and very fresh. Service was really friendly and the cafe is wonderfully decorated to feel cosy and comfortable. A really great find on our trip.

My favourite spot when I am in Belfast.

First time eating here today 13/12/21 and was very impressed. Real hearty home cooked style grub that's easily priced for the City Centre. We were actually glad to find somewhere that wasn't demanding the biosecurity passport (obviously because it doesn't serve alcohol) that being said, we can expect these Cafe places to be included shortly - so we'll support them while we can.

Just been to cafe Rosa it was very over cooked couldn't even hardly eat my meal it was that bad. My partners meal was not even freshly made it was very over cooked to. Then the prices were rediculess for the food. We didn't even get asked how was hour meal I think they knew that we didn't enjoy it becus are plates went back full. I went there hungery and I left hungery. While we were there few other People walked up and just left becus they took so long to serve them the boss and waiter was standing taking that's y they walked out I will never ever be back 🤬🤬🤬

Attended on Saturday afternoon, was grunted to a seat by a staff member with my wife. We sat for 15-20 minutes without being asked for our order. In that time others ordered and received food. We left.

A little gem of a cafe in the heart of Belfast with home-style cooking, a Sunday roast and some of the best omelettes in the city. This place is always so clean with friendly, helpful staff, good coffee and comfortable seating.

Was booked into this hotel from Thur until sat of last week .Wasnt informed until our booking was confirmed and money paid that there would be no breakfast served in the restaurant in the morning or drinks in the bar .Breakfast was left outside of doors in the morn in brown paper bags .If you needed towels or anything it was a nightmare as there was so little staff at reception to deal with the people .Having stayed there before on a number of occasions i wouldnt be going back .So so disappointed as bars down the street were crowed and serving drink and food no problem .

The food was lovely and the staff were very warm and friendly. Was only weighting 10 minutes for the food and was hot and very tasty. The price of food was very good, very very good. I would definitely go back again.

Absolutely no pleasantries from the staff food was terrible and the price was through the roof, would not eat here again. Only went into the cafe because I thought it was still isobeals where the staff had manners.

Girlie wkend in Belfast popped in here late Saturday afternoon for coffee n cake but ended up having fish n chips - absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and lovely atmosphere in the cafe. Highly recommended 😁
