We fell upon this little cafe at lunchtime after deciding that the big "chain" cafe round the corner was too full. I was a little dubious at first as it was empty with only one young guy serving (and cooking too I think) but I was wrong to think it was going to be a disappointment. The coffee was surprisingly good, and my jacket potato was perfect. My son & husband both enjoyed their drinks & flapjack. My only negative was the bathroom, someone could have nipped to the nearby Sainsbury's for supplies of loo roll! Definitely one to visit in future visits to Leeds.

Found this little gem of a café on my recent trip to Leeds and just wish I had found it sooner. Ended up eating here every night of my recent trip away as the food and service was so good. The café itself from the outside does not look large but there is an upstairs seating area. I only sat downstairs so cannot comment on the upstairs. Menu is not vastly extensive however does offer a good choice and covers a range including burgers, jacket potatoes, paninis and lasagne. They also offer breakfast and a range of toasties etc. There is also a fab range of desserts including crepes, waffles, sundaes and a selection of cakes. I can highly recommend the Peanut Butter Stack and the Hot Cookie Dough although all the desserts are fab tried a few over all the different visits. Really good portion size and good value for money. Food is really good quality and very tasty. I cannot praise the service highly enough and how fantastic the staff are nothing was too much trouble and they were so friendly from the minute we first walked in the door. Good Food, Good Prices and Good Services this will now my go to place whenever I visit Leeds for Theatre Trips. They also offer a take away option if you don't want to sit in to dine. Will be recommending this place to anyone travelling to Leeds especially for the theatre as its located just 5 minutes from it.

Always welcome in the shop and the staff are polite and very happy to see you. Don't leave you sat there in silence they have a fun conversation with you. The food is very nice indeed and cooked perfectly. They do nice little touches like writing the number of the dish on the box so you don't get the wrong meal with your rice or chips. The only thing I wish they would change (along with most Chinese Takeaway) is to allow you to use card as not always have cash or a working bank machine nearby but it's a small niggle and I now make sure I always have cash in my wallet 😎
