Cafe Galio in Kingston upon Thames

Was on our way to Alton towers I didn’t have any change and my daughter and young son jumped out the car and ran in begged her to use the toilet, she said no that to use her toilet was 50p my Daughter was crying. I waited in the car with my other children. Thought that was really cruel. I understand with adults but children

Pal wanted to go to independent cafe than 'chain' pal enjoyed vegetarian panini mine a chicken mayo sweetcorn tasted of very white, processed chicken (think advertised as roasted!?) it was tasteless & made me feel sick eating it, i ask for extra hot latte it was lukewarm (not even hot) so asked nice young, helpful, female waitress for pot of boiling water, she was good, other staff (owners?) were unfriendly, not very happy looking, will avoid as not worth the money

Tried this place today, first and last. They have very few Vegan options, however I decided to try the 'Nice Panini. As you will see in the picture, the ingredients was bare min, it actually just tasted like a sweet onion sandwich. As for the SOYA cappuccino, that was weak with the quality of SOYA very weak,

We stopped of for a bite to eat and a drink while shopping. I had an iced coffee and we both had the mezza which included a bowl of black olives, a huge pot of houmous and 2 pitta breaks. Great for a quick pit stop snack. The iced coffee was pretty good too. The shop has an open front so even if you are sitting inside it feels very open which is lovely in the hot weather. They do have a garden at the back but we didn't see this. The service was friendly and quick. We would visit again.

I ordered an omelette with additions, but the toppings were very small, the omelette probably made of 1 egg, everything tiny and cheap and the price for the omelette was high. I asked for 1 toast, . I was charged £ 1 😅 for a slice of toast, what is sisgusting. approach to the client and communication below the norm. I did not get the ordered concrete on the plate, and when I remembered I did not hear "I'm sorry" I would personally give 3 out of 10 points

Always enjoy a visit and usually bump into someone I know. Good music and a surprisingly sheltered and pleasant back garden.

I visited this cafe today for lunch. I ordered an omelette with cheese, tomato and mushrooms. I paid over £9 in total with a coffee, which is expensive as cafes go. The omelette was small, definitely 2 eggs not 3 and with a small amount of filling. I had to pay an extra 75p for mushroom and there was no more than one small sliced mushroom inside. Although advertised that it came with salad, the accompanying salad was also very small, just a few leaves with one slice of cucumber and one slice of tomato. I often get omelettes in cafes and normally can’t eat it all, but I came out of this cafe hungry and poorer than usual for it! Other food might be good as it was my first visit but the omelette is not recommended in my opinion!

The food is ok here. Nice wraps, tried the New York wrap and you can't go wrong with a croissant. I'm never a fan of metal chairs and tables as it makes a place feel unwelcoming. Also there are too many tables and chairs scattered around. Could be a really nice cafe if the decor was scaled back and improved a bit and a smile on the employees faces.

I've been going to Cafe Galio for 14 years as have the majority of it's customers. The croissants are the best; freshly cooked in an oven on site. The food is always good, the menu has plenty of healthy mediterranean style choices as well as usual brit cafe food. It is a nice place to meet friends or colleagues. The owners are kind hard working people who genuinely care about the people they serve.

A good meeting place, very relaxed, good coffee, free wifi and not rushed to leave . Central place and worked well

Had a really excellent tuna salad. A big helping and excellent value. Enjoyed the background music as well!

A wonderful little cozy place to meet friends and family for a light bite and coffee. The friendly service is always welcoming and makes you want to keeping coming back for more. Their food quality and standards have always been high and service with a smile. Recommended for an afternoon catch up with friends and family, or even some quiet time.

Regularmente Galio ya que tiene un ambiente feliz local con un gran número de clientes habituales y grupos locales que utilizan el café como base. La comida es sencilla y bien hecha y el café siempre es buena. A menudo hay también pequeños venta de artesanías tales como un práctico soporte a mano taza de café. Utilizar la mía todo el tiempo y siempre recibimos comentarios.

This is my favourite coffee and lunch place in New Malden. Great coffee, excellent good value lunches and the owners are lovely. I and/or my sons come here almost every day! 😀💚❤️☕️🍴👍

Best coffee, good food, chilling music, friendly staff, great atmosphere. There also a lovely little garden around the back which is perfect for the sunny days.

Los precios son más baratos en comparación a costa o otras cafeterías alrededor y la calidad es mucho mejor... La comida también es estupendo aquí y no un montón de panini y ensaladas... También hay un precioso jardín alrededor de la parte trasera, lo cual es perfecto para los días soleados. El personal es muy agradable y amable y siempre te tratan con respeto. Así que si estás buscando una buena taza de café o para tomar algo, o si sólo quieres relajarte un poco y descansar de la rutina diaria, no te decepcionará visitando Galio como siempre hay una música muy escalofriante que se tocan hace un gran ambiente.

This place could have potential. The food is awful. We ordered omelette with chorizo and onion- we got an omelette with thin cheap slices of chorizo and chopped raw onion thrown on top. Poor decor and no atmosphere. Such a shame as its a great location and if they made it more classy they'd always be full.

Food was fine but order was taken in an undifferent manner, no thank you, no smile. I watched other customers been served it was the same for everybody. I like to support independent restuarants/cafes but I can see no reasons to return to this cafe
