Lovely food, great service. One of the best cafes on the Lisburn Road. The only problem is the wife then insists on looking around the shop.

30 mins for lunch out of office. Placed my order, paid and waited 21 mins. Service was sooooo slow, and even asked twice. Wrap was sitting pre prepared. Food was good but service atrocious

I quite often go into the Bedeck Coffee shop on the Lisburn road Belfast. Usually just have a coffee and no complaints there. Staff are polite and efficient. The other morning I decided to get a scone. This rates as the worst scone i have ever eaten. It was hard dry and crumbly. I did try putting butter on it and asking for it to be heated a little but to no avail. I feel the scone may have been sitting there from the week before.

I really have lost count of the number of times that we have had coffee etc in Cafe Bedeck. Bearing in mind that it is situated within the Linen Green Complex-a shopping magnet for my wife- the cafe offers respite from shopping. My wife aspires to be the British freestyle shopping champion! Although we generally only have coffee and light bites, I feel competent to make comment on the overall menu. It is good, served in pleasant and clean conditions by very friendly staff. A little oasis for relaxing and chilling out.

This area is not cramped but well spaced. Not a large variety of snacks but they did look good. I was looking gluten free but the selection was poor so I just had a cup of tea.

Nice cafe, relatively easy parking outside compared to other places in the complex. Very good selection for snack or lunch. Friendly staff and very good service. Well worth a visit, rarely many people in the cafe so quite quiet.

I've only recently in the last month or two started to go with my husband to Bedeck on the Lisburn Road. A great selection of scones and sweet treats too. Staff very friendly, especially the main girl - she is very quick and knows our order as "the usual". Goes above and beyond any other cafe staff who would just throw the coffee at you to get you in and out quickly! Have told my sister and a friend about here and will definitely be telling a lot more friends too!

Visited here with colleagues for lunch. Sandwich options are very limited, nice, but limited. I had a roll filled with chicken ceasar salad type ingredients, nice but nothing special. As this cafe is upstairs in the Bedeck, the floor appeared to me to be moving...kinda felt a bit sea sick up there. Won't be back, will go to The Loft across the car park in future.

I was visiting Belfast last week and had lunch three days in Cafe Bedeck on the Lisburn Road. It is a lovely, airy litte cafe which is usually busy but never crowded. As a sole diner I did not feel in any way uncomfortable. The staff are really friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. They do great coffee, and the home made soup is lovely. I sampled two different varieties, both equally delicious. On my third visit I had a made to order chicken wrap. It had large pieces of fresh chicken and came with a great green salad. There are many choices for a lunch time coffee break on the Lisburn Road but, for me, Cafe Bedeck is the first choice every time.

We've walked passed the Lisburn Road cafe many times and called in earlier in the year, but the sandwich choices were dull and unappealing. To shelter from the rain we decided to give it a go.I do loathe queuing for lunch as it always reminds me of work canteens and initially this was the impression. We, along with another customer were ignored as the staff were busy sorting other things ( although neither of us knew that as nobody bothered to engage us ). When we did get served it was by a friendly, helpful member of staff who could not have been more attentive.Christmas is in the air,and the lunch options included 2 themed fillings. We chose one of each. A variety of breads were on offer and we both chose and were delighted with the granary rolls: fresh, soft and packed with flavour. My turkey and ham with stuffing was spot on;well filled and very tasty. My wife's goats' cheese with stuffing and chutney was pronounced excellent. Fresh, crisp and perfectly dressed salad leaves and a tiny side of coleslaw came with each.I was very impressed.Nice, clean and bright decor, spaciousness ( rare in many places ) set a good backdrop.I just regret not trying here sooner.

Staff were friendly, and food grand for a quick lunch (soup and a wrap but it was good homemade soup)... But really slow service. It wasn't that busy on the last 2 occasions I have been in (which is an advantage ie you will always get a lunchtime table) - but a long wait each time. Can't really understand why- on face of it plenty of staff but seems quite disorganised behind the counter. If facilities are tight perhaps they should limit menu more to improve speed (but keep the soup!)

The food here is homemade and handmade.....and the difference is clear! Wonderful tray bakes and cakes just like they're supposed to taste, fresh and sweet and flavoursome, not mass produced. Beautiful range of fillings in a good selection of breads, wraps and rolls as well. VERY good coffee! Really not a hot food place, but what Cafe Bedeck does, it does very well! Lovely service too, from friendly, unassuming and helpful staff, makes it worth every penny. The coffee cake, brownies, caramel shortbreads and any of the sandwich fillings with a dunk of the gorgeous chilli jam are my recommendations! It is my preferred eatery at the Linen Green every time!

Had coffee and sweet treats in Cafe Bedeck today. Nice selection of cakes and buns available. I had a slice of lemon tart which is one of the best I've had in NI, with good pastry and proper lemon cream. Why can so many of our local cafes and restaurants not make a proper lemon meringue base, even those known for "home baking", and use a packet mix instead?! This was the real thing! Pretty good value for money and the cafe is on a raised level, so you can sit and admire all the home items that you can buy on the way out!

I have enjoyed a couple of visits to this cafe. The have a decent enough selection of food for a coffee shop and they serve very tasty tea and coffee. It has a pleasant atmosphere and I love the decor. The staff are friendly and I personally feel It is the best place in the linen green to go for a cuppa and chat.

Not a large array or selection to choose from. When I did visit there was nothing took my fancy so ended up taking tea and a mince pie which was on offer for a pound. So prices are excellent for some things. Seating is lovely and peaceful. They have the most beautiful non-alcoholic punch. It is like a hidden haven, very nice!

I was disappointed after all these great reviews. Great location and ambience but disappointing quality. My soup was very watery and tasteless...... Hope it was just a one off as I live in Dungannon and would like to go again. I also felt they were short staffed as all the free tables were uncleared. We had to ask for this to be done!

If you are travelling on the M1 in NorthernIreland, this is well worth a short detour for refreshment : signposts for the Linen Green, where the Bedeck building is prominent. The cafe is upstairs, access by lift if necessary, and child-friendly with excellent toilets and changing facilities. The staff are very friendly and keen to please. The food is of high quality soups, sandwiches, salads, hot snacks, traybakes, tarts, quiches, and scrumptious cakes....all tasty, fresh, home made & wholesome...apple pie to die for, and walnut cake a peciality.....food warmed if wished, with fresh cream & jams included........the drinks are a wide range of teas, and perfectly made coffees plus a range of juices and soft drinks....nice ambience of re-cycled antique style furnishings in a bright modern setting...a great spot to meet up, or have a coffee break or stopover from driving or shopping. Previous reviews justified.

Bedeck in the Linen Green complex is a very pleasant little cafe with an array of sandwiches and pastries as well as teas and coffees. It is situated on the first floor of the shop of the same name selling household items. My wife and I often pop in there for a coffee and a home-made scone. We like it because there are not many tables in it, so there are never a lot of people in it, so it has a lovely, peaceful atmospere which makes the experience a very enjoyable one.
