Sometimes better than others but great bar staff.

Called in for a quick pint having visited the area I was born in, a few doors along on nether edge road. Didn't eat so can't comment it was very quiet being middle of day , good local real ale was welcome to see

Stopped for a beer as we were in Sheffield for Liam Gallagher staying at the top of the road. Great and friendly landlord and getting beer served in a chilled glass was a nice touch 👌

Played in pool league. Downside is pool table

Genuinely surprised by the quality of the food. Went for Pie night and will be going back for the Sunday Dinner. Home made proper pie. Chips are quite possible the best anywhere. And came with loads of seasonal veg.

Sunday lunch really nice and staff very friendly

Called in here with my friend April & my daughter Cait for the quiz in September 2016. Explained to lady that Cait was 18 Friday before although she looked younger & asked if she needed to see ID,she didn't.The lady who said her name was Abbie bought not only a drink for Cait who only wanted Lemonade but a drink for April & I too..Next min Abbie announced to everyone in the pub that it was a special young lady's 18th birthday,got the pub singing Happy Birthday to Cait while a member of staff presented her with a piece of Lemon Cheesecake with a candle in! Abbie then came over with a special drink for Cait,a Baby Guinness consisting of Tia Maria & Baileys... Thank you soon much Abbie & all the Byron House Pub for making us so welcome... Well worth a trip fm Firth Park..Hope to see you again xx

Proper Sheffield pub, went to watch the rugby. Decent prices on the drinks. Only tiny negative was the landlord loved standing in front of the screen 😂but pretty good all round

Nice modern pub. Sports TV. On a busier night I can imagine a good evening there.

Make this place your local. That's the only advice I can give. Love this place. The people, beer and sport is perfect.

From the moment we walked in we were treated superbly. The locals are all friendly. Food is out of this world. As people working away from home I wish we had found this hidden treasure before. Staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them. They even put the grand prix on and found a table were I could watch it..

The staff are really welcoming and the beer is quickly served ...a lovely place for a quiet pint.

Nice pub in a nice part of Sheffield.... Nice outside seating area where you can relax with your friends when the weather is good and watch the world go slowly by. Beer is reasonably priced and I am told the food the do is good. Can get very crowded when the sun is our so be aware.

The staff are nice and you get good food for good prices. A lovely surrounding where you can meet new people every time.

Good food nice set of Real Ales and well used by locals and regulars. One room with plenty of TVs for sport and a pool table. The other room with less of a TV emphasis to suit people taste for a few drinks out.

Great value Sunday lunch. Very reasonably priced, well cooked and generous portions. Get there early as very popular with locals. I sent some French friends there, they loved it.

Nice from the outside, but a "Sky sports/Carling" boozer. Food is mainly fried

I stumbled across this place while I was looking for where my mate Byron lived, anyway I wasn't disappointed. Good selection of drinks? Yes. Good out door space? Yes. Pool table? Yes. Friendly staff you can have a laugh with? Yes. Plenty of TVs to be able to watch a little bit of football (or spend all day watching it)? Yes. Great decor celebrating Sheffield sport? Yes. Any reason not to give this pub 5 stars? No. I never found my mate Byron. Hope he's ok.

A great local pub serving a modest but tasty selection of real ale. Good for watching sport, including Saturday 3 pm matches, and has good, homemade food. Does a good Sunday lunch and has great Pie Friday. The only negative is that I come out stinking of air freshener, so my missus makes me change clothes when I get home!

A great pub. Darts board, pool table and TV's for the football. A good selection of beers and cocktails, a good menu for food and friendly staff. What more could you want from a pub?!

Food is cheap. Very cheap! Staff are very nice and they have lots of toys for kids if you bring them. If your a hungry bloke then portions are definitely man sized!

Friendly staff, proper old fashioned pub but with modern amenities tv etc, Pie night on a Friday is fantastic home made food plenty of it in fact too much but for £5 per head cannot go wrong.
