Good pub, nice atmosphere, and a great fire on a cold day. The last Thursday of the month is pie and chips night. Great meal at a good price. Also, various hot toasties are available on request. Good choice of beer, lager, wine, and spirits.

Great friendly gathering place for Port Vale fans at home games,good staff and good liquid fare.

What can I say we went here tonight and had pie, chips, mushy peas and gravy. It was delicious served hot and with a smile. Meal only cost £2.50 and the drinks very reasonable priced. We will be back.

Brilliant pub on a Vale match day. Showing sports on BT and Sky before and after the game. Beer choice is good with regularly rotating guest ales and the usual choices you'd expect in a pub. To top it off there's a BBQ running on match days, serving burgers, hot dogs and oatcakes at very reasonable prices. Best place in Burslem on a match day.

People were so friendly here gave the kids free jug of squash and is dog friendly gave the dogs a bowl of water and some treats would deffo go here again as hd good selection of beers too

One of the best beer garden I've been since the knockdown and have the best equipment that is outside going so rain or shine u r dry and warm underneath the markky and I have enjoyed myself and beagle to have in the warmth and somelwhwere that is strict in sanatiseing swell as keep slafle distances

Nice place & friendly atmosphere, great management & staff are very down to earth. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because a pub with upstairs also should have more then one cubicle for men and women, they were clean ext but toilets are also upstairs which may not be suitable for everyone. Other then that I think it's a great pub nice outdoor seating area.

I like this pub, but it was empty apart from 2 elderly men upstairs, hence zero atmosphere on a Saturday night. Shame really.

Nipped into the Bursley 'late' yesterday and was greeted by friendly welcoming faces. They hadn't even got the heart to 'kick' us out until we volunteered to go when we realised we were the only couple left. Definitely go there again thanks to Gemma.

Excellent food at the funeral I attended and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to go there again in the future.

The function room Is a bit on the small side but it is a friendly place to go and I will definitely visit again in the future.
