Lovely wee place! Fantastic food and great service. It's got a great atmosphere with a lot of friendly people. Just be aware that it has a 'dress code'. No jogging bottoms or baseball caps... Basically if you look like you're going to the gym... Find somewhere else.

Very friendly and welcoming. Nice wee area for dogs to join for refreshments after a walk along loughshore beach.

Better than other bars nearby. Good selection of beers and wine and with professional and polite staff. Will definitely be using this as my new local. Also please bring back the quiz on Friday nights 🙏

Refused entry for a pint after a big job on a Friday at 4pm because my boss and I were wearing cleanish work boots , guy behind bar was very rude , we'll never be back

Visited here with friends sat 22 July. Bouncer at door very unpleasant. We got a table and when a friend arrived he was refused entry as he would be seen as bunking the q. Couldn't get the concept he wouldn't b bunking the q as we had already sourced a table. Barmaid very rude and sarcastic, seems these people need to go to charm school. Definitely won't be back. Avoid at all costs.

Chef's don't wear chef's hats. Bit disappointing.

The owner refused me entrance because I suffer from 2 neurological conditions. He was extremely rude and abusive in doing so! He subjected me to a tirade off verbal abuse and was physically threatening towards me.

Haven't been here in 20 years or more, lots has changed but it was a super lunch. Took the dog too! Food and service were excellent

Had to visit my old haunt n catch up with old friends from 30 years ago. Even tho it's very different it still felt like visiting an old friend. If and when I move home it'll become my local again. Staff friendly, prices still not bad. Beer garden is lovely at night.

A great night for our Xmas work dinner

Everything was great apart from the DJ, very rude to some of our party, music played not suitable for most of the age group that was there.

I was there with a party of around 40 for Christmas dinner. Service, food and atmosphere was excellent. Meals all served together, very impressed with the quality too. Thanks to all the chefs, waiting and bar staff for making it such a great night. 🎄🎄

Had a few drinks during the two rugby matches on Saturday night 24/9/23, ordered a snack called the ' bureau chip' which was delicious ,flavoured and dressed with Thai curry and diced crispy chicken pieces, it was amazing just how tasty this simple food was . So tonight we'll try something else for dinner, the standard of food cooked in the bureau is now up at a very high level, try it if you don't believe me, complements to the chef and all staff, Uel

As it was Friday steak night I got a ribeye steak for 19.99 and my wife a beef burger. They were both amazing, very filling and the chips were hand made and delicious. I asked my ribeye rear, and for the first time in Ireland I had it rear! I was delighted about that. The pepper sauce was fantastic too. We indulged for a sticky toffee pudding and wow, melting in your mouth.

Decided to pop in for a drink on a Saturday night, not a good idea. Zero atmosphere, no live music and very very low volume music at the front of the bar. This bar is in a good location and has potential.

We were here on father's day, menu was lovely and very affordable. Waiting staff were attentive and very friendly. Will definitely be back!

Was lovely sitting by the water sipping on a Guinness - the sound of the cars (at busy times) can be off-putting, but still is a nice place to relax. There are a few TV screens showing sports as well which is great. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, made sure that we were looked after. Prices are reasonable as well.

Stopped in for a pint on the way to Belfast. £6 for a Pint of Peroni and it was delicious. Lovely spot

First time back in a long time and we really enjoyed our lunch. The ?owner? Manager ? is a really lovely guy who couldn't have been more helpful- the waitress got a few things wrong in our order and he swiftly corrected them. The food was delicious too especially my caesar salad- will definitely be back.

Got food of the bar menu as more to our taste as main menu a bit short on choice , but food was delicious especially the pulled pork nachos and the thai red curry Fast and helpful service with a smile

In for lunch & to watch rugby food was nice service good but wouldnt sell cocktails while rugby was on. I wanted a bramble was told could nt have one. Thats not good customer service.

Sadly the Bureau is not the pleasant experience it used to be. We've been going for years and we understand that rising costs mean that changes have to be made. This means the front part of the restaurant is now closed off and the rear part is distinctly uninviting. We were the only two diners in at around 5.30 last night (4/1/23) and our meals took at least half an hour to arrive. The food was nice but my husband had been looking forward to his usual steak and it wasn't available on the very short menu. Unfortunately we've decided not to return until there are improvements. The Bureau is always advertised for its wonderful views but unless you sit outside, which is not an option in cold weather, then I'm afraid there's absolutely no view of the lough from downstairs. The restaurant upstairs which had the beautiful view has been closed for years. We won't be back until some crucial changes are made so we can return to our once favourite local restaurant.

The food (and Guinness) was amazing - great value and delicious. Staff were all lovely, especially Sam she brought a real warmth and ensured we had everything we needed!

Four friends met up for lunch Thursday to be greeted with a very friendly server.Two opted for the chicken stack,other chicken goujons and myself the duck salad all food was exceptional.As we all work in the industry we are very fussy eaters but could not fault the food at all will definitely recommend.The service we received was outstanding guy was very attentive and patient with us will definitely return 100% customer service to this guy and please thank him from us.

Lovely bar with great food and friendly staff.

Rang earlier to book for a party of 12 for food and to stay on for the smartphone quiz only to be told they DON'T do party's of 12 only 6!! I asked could we have two tables of 6 beside eachother to be told NO again as they are short staffed?! I understand if this was last minute and the restaurant was fully booked but i was giving them over 2 weeks notice. I really don't understand what is the difference of 12 people sitting together or spread around the restaurant? Surely its still the same amount of people to be served? I was Informed earlier that day that they where still very quiet that night too. This will be the last time I try to make a booking to support local. This establishments attitude leaves a lot to be desired, staff were rude and unhelpful on the phone, no wonder they are short staffed if that's how they speak to their customers!!!

Food Brilliant and John a great waiter couldn't have given us better service. Only our second time there and have had two great experiences. Will definitely be back 🙂👍

Stopped by after taking the dogs for a run. They were welcomed into the beer garden area, which even though it runs next to a busy dual carriageway, it's fairly well shielded & not too noisy. Nice Guinness for £4:50, and the dogs enjoyed thier bowl of water

Not sure why the only nice part of it that doesn't smell-upstairs; is never open.

Since lockdown, I have a real issue with rude staff and am not prepared to ignore it when paying for a service in an industry that is apparently struggling. Met at the front door by who I assume was the manager 'lisa', no polite request for a face mask, but instead a cheeky demand. But that's fair enough. However, my friend had just been handed a traybake at another local establishment (part of excellent customer service), "I'll take your rubbish off you" and when advised it wasn't rubbish "you can't bring your own food in here!", embarrassing him. As he's local I didn't want to embarrass him further by leaving. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful, beer garden is good, rugby was on inside, and a decent selection of beers. But that initial incident would make me go elsewhere in future.
