Great local pub with friendly staff and good prices on beer. Just beware of ordering spirits as they can end up being very expensive for a double. Sunday dinner is really cheap and cheerful at less than 7 quid for a HUGE plate of food that even a fat guy like me can never finish. Saturday night atmosphere is great with karaoke.

Gone dingy kids sat on mums knee at the bar, not my scene anymore. The Sunday dinner is supposed to be very good

Not been in for a couple of years but still got a good atmosphere, nice to see JJ still managing to DJ even at his age. Beer prices very reasonable and staff friendly and welcoming.

Not been in for a while. Its lost its sparkle needs a cleanup/makeover. Beer okay.

Owned by my Mum's friend Ally, great little pub with a pool table in. Karaoke and Bingo events on every week. Reasonable prices. Good place for a good time.

Perfect little boozer. Homely and comfortable the people are amazing regulars and staff will always be coming back love the place to bits. A must visit if in the area.

Such a nice friendly atmosphere for a Monday night. The landlord is sound and a decent pint that is better than the rest of the surrounding pubs. Thanks for the chips too which was a nice touch

Best bar in Oldham, 10p a game of pool, pints less than £3, shots around £2.50. Sunday Dinner less than £5. Landlord is best landlord in Oldham if not Greater Manchester. Great craic and Karaoke most nights with also bingo nights. Like I said, best pub in Oldham

Never been in the building, so how can I rate it

It's an odd little pub but I used to love it when I was younger. Horrific karaoke nights that everyone loves and the sherbet dip cocktails are the best! A place of regulars but everyone is generally friendly with no real issues that I ever saw.

Can't beat this place. 10p game of Pool and £2 - £2.50 a pint is very competitive in Oldham Town Centre. Always lively Thurs- Sunday with Karaoke and a Good Sunday Dinner for only £5?? A must go if visiting or living in Oldham!

Had a very drunk but enjoyable night. Not sure there is anywhere quite like it. Also they kept my coat for me which I forgot in my state. Beware the jugs of colour.

Bitter for £1.60 and a Sunday dinner for £4.50. ... Love the place .... And pool table is 10 a game ... You can't go wrong here

I came to the buck over 13 years ago to just have a look...but ended up staying till present day..it has a rustic charm and a magic something...the buck has more than its fair share of 'characters'..it has a homely feel to the building..a mixture of ages from young to the very young..at heart !!!

Very cheap comparing to Manchester prices. About twice cheaper. Very 'local' pub however staff is not the most friendly I have ever seen. There is some space for improvement ;)
