Great place for eating and meeting

Amazing food all round, highly suggest going on a Thursday night!

I absolutely LOVE Brixton, It's home!

Colourful, full of variety, greatxstreet food and cafés.

Very expensive for what you get in terms of portion size. Automatically added service charge, which I am not a fan of.

I could have spent an entire day there, eating, drinking, chatting with & spending money there. So many cool shops, & interesting people. I absolutely fell in love with this market & will come back to experience the vibe again.

The mushroom and onion sauce is delicious and very suitable for that dish, but the meat is very tough and limited.

Loved the custom fragrance store. Literally make any scent right in front of you.

Gone down hill nothing for the youngsters no lbqt etc nothing going on here just bars and restaurants the stores are basic west end is a better choice for what your seeking 😒 sad situation

Fantastic market with a wide range of foods from across the world

It's not easy to make Thai food vegan. The ingredients are really fresh, the taste is strong but not too spicy, children can eat it, adults can eat it, and people who don't eat very spicy can eat it.

I think the best part of this place are the local shop owners who all are super friendly people and generally have a great side story about their lives in Brixton. Many of them seem to have been living in Brixton since being a youngster. And the food places are quite good too.

A not very big food hall. There are several covered lanes bordered by a multitude of small restaurants with various specialties, but also bars or other shops. At 150m you find a similar place, Pop Brixton.

Lovely place with different options for food. This area is known for its diversity and specially its Jamaican influence. Don’t hesitate to try it out. During the day there are plenty of fruit and veg and fish shops with great selections

Kind of a cool vibe, but having to pay for the toilet really takes the piss. Like I'm spending £40 quid at the place and you expect me to pay 50p every time I go for a piss. Absolutely wrong.

For those who like "root" markets, a great experience. It has everything. The surrounding streets are vibrant and full of popular commerce.

Hidden gem just off the main road. A wealth of vibrant shops restaurants and bars, populated by a beautiful mix of people. Went to the pergola, a roof top bar drinks were reasonably priced, atmosphere was good and the bar, wait and security staff were really friendly and helpful.

It's a sweet bazaar, inside there are shops where you can mostly eat and do a little cute shopping.

A place where you can find a variety of Latin American products, restaurants, the influence of different cultures is felt in the air, and you can enjoy a very good atmosphere until midnight with the Latin rhythm.

Had never been to Briston Market before & was bowled over by the experience. The noise, smells, abundance of fresh food,fish & meat. I closed my eyes and was transported baci to Africa. Will be going back sion

Great atmosphere, a lot of interesting eating places and able to pick up fruit and vegetables you can't get anywhere else. Well worth the visit. Loved 'The Black Farmer ' shop too.

Dogs are allowed, which is absolutely fantastic. There is good variety of businesses to choose fruit and vegetables. I focused on getting plantain and papaya, so I cannot comment on other products. I tried Colombian food and was not impressed. I preferred the morning time as it is less crowded and easier to walk around. It is unfortunate that some food businesses open from 12:30 instead of 12:00.

Meh. Insignificant place, a market equal to the 7-8 in the city. Street food of poor quality and without originality. It adds nothing to what has already been seen.

Never disappointed. Great atmosphere and the outlets are great for the diverse community of Brixton. Well done.

I've enjoyed the market for over thirty years. Although it's now full of really good eateries there's still enough of what made it what it is to keep it interesting. Long may it continue!

I absolutely LOVE how multicultural this indoor market is - you've got Italian, Japanese, Colombian, Caribbean and so much more!! There's a huge range of homeware and grocery stores! And the decorations are pretty cool.

This is an excellent local market with a variety of excellent restaurants.

Lots of independent shops, bars and restaurants selling interesting and tasty things. Fun day out. I recommend that you rock down to Electric Avenue.

It was a great place to visit with so much to see. Fantastic range of independent eateries offering a diverse range of food as well as small independent shops showcasing a range of different cultures. Although the number of shops has dwindled somewhat since 2020, there are still plenty to support. If visiting it is best to go by public transport as traffic can be horrendous and parking is a nightmare. (hence 4 stars).

This village was amazing! It was busy, always, and the vibe was what we needed. The food here blew our minds. Oowee was hands down the best place to eat. I could clean 3 burgers from this place, and I never usually get that down. Pergola has all the life after a meal. A must try! The cocktails are delicious a craft - try the Paloma, and the Brixton Rum Punch!

Bought a chicken sharwma wrap, I didnt like the sauce in there, after I told them I didnt want the extra sauce. Then bought a burger from the joint place and as I bit into it, it was pink, soo I took it back and askd for another one, which they refused and still asked me to pay, which I didnt

Very eclectic. You can find many treasure for a decent price. Lots of restaurants from all over the world. A safe place to visit during the day, not at night.

A bit gentrified as is most places now but still some goodies and worth checking out for the wide range of foods from around the world to try. Still gives that market feel

Love it here - we got hair products, ingredients, vinyl. The food is good the people are nice - full of independents stores how shopping should be , good department store Morleys, art, The black farmer farmshop. Can't wait to go back.

Great mix of excellent food venues in a sheltered market area and more market stalls during the daytime. There is also clothing, vintage, crafts, cards, prints and all sorts of different offerings! Worth visiting in the daytime or the evenings.

Went to Three Uncles for some food between bars. This hit the spot with rapid service, good tasty food and reasonable prices.

Passed in Pergola Brixton for a quick drink after work. Great bar, lovely venue with Instagramable photo ops. We enjoyed lychee margaritas 🍹 definitely a spot to hit up again this summer!
