Hidden gem just off the main road. A wealth of vibrant shops restaurants and bars, populated by a beautiful mix of people. Went to the pergola, a roof top bar drinks were reasonably priced, atmosphere was good and the bar, wait and security staff were really friendly and helpful.

It's a sweet bazaar, inside there are shops where you can mostly eat and do a little cute shopping.

A place where you can find a variety of Latin American products, restaurants, the influence of different cultures is felt in the air, and you can enjoy a very good atmosphere until midnight with the Latin rhythm.

Had never been to Briston Market before & was bowled over by the experience. The noise, smells, abundance of fresh food,fish & meat. I closed my eyes and was transported baci to Africa. Will be going back sion

Great atmosphere and good food, quite an unusual place

Great atmosphere, a lot of interesting eating places and able to pick up fruit and vegetables you can't get anywhere else. Well worth the visit. Loved 'The Black Farmer ' shop too.

Meh. Insignificant place, a market equal to the 7-8 in the city. Street food of poor quality and without originality. It adds nothing to what has already been seen.

Dogs are allowed, which is absolutely fantastic. There is good variety of businesses to choose fruit and vegetables. I focused on getting plantain and papaya, so I cannot comment on other products. I tried Colombian food and was not impressed. I preferred the morning time as it is less crowded and easier to walk around. It is unfortunate that some food businesses open from 12:30 instead of 12:00.

Never disappointed. Great atmosphere and the outlets are great for the diverse community of Brixton. Well done.

I've enjoyed the market for over thirty years. Although it's now full of really good eateries there's still enough of what made it what it is to keep it interesting. Long may it continue!

I absolutely LOVE how multicultural this indoor market is - you've got Italian, Japanese, Colombian, Caribbean and so much more!! There's a huge range of homeware and grocery stores! And the decorations are pretty cool.

Lots of independent shops, bars and restaurants selling interesting and tasty things. Fun day out. I recommend that you rock down to Electric Avenue.

It was a great place to visit with so much to see. Fantastic range of independent eateries offering a diverse range of food as well as small independent shops showcasing a range of different cultures. Although the number of shops has dwindled somewhat since 2020, there are still plenty to support. If visiting it is best to go by public transport as traffic can be horrendous and parking is a nightmare. (hence 4 stars).

Good place for African food and cuisine.

This village was amazing! It was busy, always, and the vibe was what we needed. The food here blew our minds. Oowee was hands down the best place to eat. I could clean 3 burgers from this place, and I never usually get that down. Pergola has all the life after a meal. A must try! The cocktails are delicious a craft - try the Paloma, and the Brixton Rum Punch!

Bought a chicken sharwma wrap, I didnt like the sauce in there, after I told them I didnt want the extra sauce. Then bought a burger from the joint place and as I bit into it, it was pink, soo I took it back and askd for another one, which they refused and still asked me to pay, which I didnt

Very eclectic. You can find many treasure for a decent price. Lots of restaurants from all over the world. A safe place to visit during the day, not at night.

A bit gentrified as is most places now but still some goodies and worth checking out for the wide range of foods from around the world to try. Still gives that market feel

Love it here - we got hair products, ingredients, vinyl. The food is good the people are nice - full of independents stores how shopping should be , good department store Morleys, art, The black farmer farmshop. Can't wait to go back.

Went to Three Uncles for some food between bars. This hit the spot with rapid service, good tasty food and reasonable prices.

Great mix of excellent food venues in a sheltered market area and more market stalls during the daytime. There is also clothing, vintage, crafts, cards, prints and all sorts of different offerings! Worth visiting in the daytime or the evenings.

Passed in Pergola Brixton for a quick drink after work. Great bar, lovely venue with Instagramable photo ops. We enjoyed lychee margaritas 🍹 definitely a spot to hit up again this summer!

Such a pretty market, lots of different stores and restaurants, toilets are reasonably clean. There's also an Oowee vegan Restaurant, which is why we came there originally, but we'll definitely be back!

Great food market with small pop up restaurants and bars and also market stalls such as butchers and green grocers. Everything from Japanese food to Ethiopian to Mexican.

We had a lovely walk around Brixton and then came across the village. Market had so much fun wandering the shops . It's many years since I have been to Brixton but I won't leave it so long in the future.

It is getting busy and better but always littered with empty waste cartons and packages. It is easily accessible with bus ,train and underground.

Brixton is always a vibe. We stopped by to grab some fruit and veg and decided to have lunch at House of Momo. House of Momo is very delicious, and the service is great. The food costs about 10-15 per person. Drinks between 6-9 pp. Chill jazz music and decent seating space. I'd definitely go back.

Freshly cooked in front of you at Senzala Creperie Bar & Cafe, you have a good choice of delicious crepes I had the buckwheat and prawns and it was mouth-watering.

All the shop places are not open. Some are closed while others have no vendor. This is actually a good thing because it gives the space and breathing room that most market areas cannot give. I was able to eat my curry goat at 7:55 pm in piece without elbowing someone. I've eaten here twice. Exquisite food. Ate curry goat.

Enjoyed seeing a very diverse array of different cultures under one roof. I was surprised to see a Columbian restaurant as well as a grocery shop from Sierra Leone.

The shopping area is worth visiting. There are many different small shops nearby, which are very unique. Also pay attention to property safety

Such a cool vibe and concept; sadly didn't have time to try any of the inviting looking eateries, so will hopefully return soon do so. Only issue is: with so much great choice, which lovely place to pick from the fab variety of cuisines?
