We had a delicious evening meal with excellent service. It was so good two of us returned the next day for another meal. The very tasty fish dishes are beautifully prepared and presented. The meal was good value too. Highly recommended.

Absolutely Fantastic meal would highly recommend lively warm and friendly atmosphere and caters for all the needs. Even on a mild Saturday it’s was very busy

My wife and her friend went for lunch on 23 nov and found the place cold . The central heating had not been turned on and the fire not lit, the explanation was that they had not got round to turning the heat on. Also, the meal was burnt to a frazzle.

I was in the area looking for somewhere to eat and tried here. As soon as I turned into the carpark it was obvious the place was packed! Inside was standing room only and there was no chance of getting booked in for a table in the main restaurant. Luckily I was able to find a small space at the end of a table in the bar. The menu is quite extensive with the addition of a Special's Board. Despite being full the wait for food wasn't too bad and more than acceptable. When my food arrived it looked great and tasted superb. I'd happily return here and thoroughly recommend it...but book!

Found this gem of a place having walked around the local cliffs and dunes. Fantastic to see local game like pigeon and rabbit on the menu. The food was superb and washed down with well kept local ale. Highly recommended.

Arrived at the pretty pub on the recommendations of the farm shop who made the burgers and lamb shanks from their own lambs for the pub. We chose the lamb burgers which were cooked to perfection with chips and salad . The hospitality of the owners was great and as soon as we had eaten we returned to the farm and bought the burgers to bring home to Buckinghamshire.

Was recommended this place by the hosts of the Airbnb we were staying at. Very glad we listened. The food was absolutely incredible, great service and extremely well set up to deal with social distancing given the world we live in now.

We visited the Britannia Inn for a friends 50th birthday meal. We were really looked after by the team at the pub who were very friendly and accommodating. The food itself was outstanding in terms of both presentation and taste. I had scallops, pork and cheesecake to finish and all were superb. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

Wanted to take my elderly parents for Sunday lunch. The Britannia Inn came highly recommended by friends so decided to give it a go. When I rang to book a table we were lucky enough to get a cancellation in the main restaurant. We opted for the Lamb dinner which was very tasty followed by Christmas pudding and Bread and butter pudding, both of which were delicious. We had a bottle of perfectly decent Pino Grigio which was served beautifully cold and at the very affordable price of £17.85. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent considering it was super busy. A lovely lunch. We will be back.

Was down on the Gower exploring and came across the Britannia Inn over looking the estuary. It’s in a lovely rural location lovely and peaceful. Had a good pint of cider and a good well price lunch, good service friendly staff, well worth a visit in your passing.

We enjoy visiting this place and have never been disappointed with the food. There are one or two things that could be better to make the experience more comfortable and pleasing for the customer, firstly the heating in the top area of the restaurant was off and the room chilly until a customer asked for the heating to be turned on. Secondly, in the same area I didn’t want to be looking out at a shed and a ladder, the area could be tidied up. Finally and most importantly the service wasn’t great, the staff appeared attentive but when asked for horseradish sauce for the beef meal, the staff had to be reminded that we had asked for it. Also when we asked for cream with the dessert again we had to remind the staff that we had asked for it when we ordered. Little things but done properly the visit would have been so much better. To the meal, starters of Welsh goats cheese and prawn cocktail was very enjoyable as was the beef dinner, the beef was tender and the veg choice was very good. The sticky toffee pudding was the highlight for us, a good sized portion which was light and very tasty. A good tasty Sunday lunch but the overall experience could have been better.

From booking on the phone, right up to paying, the service at Food By Sean @ N0600 was personable, professional and very friendly. We went for the Tim Burton-themed afternoon tea as my pre-birthday treat. Everything was delicious with a variety of flavours. Highlights? 🥪 The cheese and tomato chutney sandwich was delicious! 🥧 Mrs Lovetts meat pie was perfect! 🍒 The Dark Shadows forest tart had a great balance of sweet and tangy, and the sponge was sublime! Loved this gem and it was perfect for a rainy, autumnal day. Food By Sean @ N0600 in Ynystawe is a must. I thoroughly enjoyed and will be back again soon! Thank you! 🫶🏼

Midweek family lunch. Phone call made prior to visiting to ensure food was available as last time we visited no food available due to fryers not working. On entering this establishment we noticed a cat inside premises drinking milk from a cup on the floor in the restaurant. The whole place had an unpleasant stale aroma and very cold dark and dingy. The tables sticky and menus the same. Service limited and unfriendly. Large notices advising no vegan food available. We eventually made our choices and ordered at the bar. Food arrived promptly on warm plates. Portions quite small but food was reasonable. Overall a ok ish visit but this place is in desperate need of a good deep clean and would benefit from re decorating. Would we re visit or recommend, probably not.
