Awful. Good points Food was hot when delivered Ribs edible Bad points Sauces tasted like they had more E numbers than 90s dance group ‘the Shamen’. More chemicals than a science GCSE. More artificial than a prosthetic limb. Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Was as well executed as they could achieve - hot when delivered. But poor quality. Will not eat from there again.

Just had a delivery food was not edible and all went in bin meat was not cooked properly and sweet and sour chicken tasted like vinegar errr threw it in bin otherwise we would end up on toilet all night

Worst Chinese I’ve ever tasted. Only ordered from here because there’s no other Chinese on just eat so thought I would try. Ordered a set menu for 1 as a treat as the whole family are out. Waste of money. Chips, egg fried rice, crispy beef and curry sauce. The crispy beef had no veg in it and no flavour to it what so ever, the chips were not like the ones you usually get from a Chinese, these were like big thick greasy steak chips, the egg fried rice was disgusting, no taste to it, very dry plain white rice with a bit of egg thrown in. Honestly the whole meal went in the bin. Wish I’d read the reviews first, very disappointed. Only put 1 star because I had to pick at least 1 but Literally 0 star. Do not order from this place.

Iv always ordered from this Chinese when staying at llandow, iv never had a problem before the food was always good, but tonight it was just unedable!! Beef curry was floating in grease! Watery and beef was salty as he'll, rice was not as fluffy as usual and the dim sum was very chewy!! I rang to complain and the Chinese man that took my order was not interested, can't re deliver as we are to far away? Yet they delivered in the first place??? Had my money now haven't you. This is the last time I will ever order from this place so be aware the food was disgusting today!!! Not sure if there is a new management or what but please DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this place, go somewhere else.

I don't normally leave reviews as I appreciate everyone needs to make a living but this food was horrendous. The sweet and sour sauce contained too many artificial colours and tasted of chemicals, as did the sauce with the crispy chilli beef, it was glowing! The noodles tasted of plastic and again, artificial and chemically. Complete and utter waste of money and food thrown away...I should have read the reviews on Google before placing the order...they say it all!

I’m a huge lover of Chinese, I have tried hundreds of restaurants and eat them wherever I go. This place is bad, I’ve ordered twice now giving them the benefit of the doubt and each time it just tastes vile. I don’t know what they do to the rice but it tastes like it’s been washed with dish soap, the meat is of very cheap quality, mostly fat and very little meat and it’s very over cooked and dry. The sides of chicken and pork were like chewing leather. I still can’t get my head around the rice, it tastes like fairy liquid.. I hate having to leave a bad review but I will be honest don’t waste your money here, it needs major improvement on the food.

Tasty! Food was lovely and they were happy to swap out a curry on the set menu. Will definitely have again. :)

This food is awful. I’m literally sat here very hungry just staring at the food, can’t eat it because it’s so awful. Never had a Chinese takeaway taste this bad. Singapore fried rice taste like mud mixed with curry, spare ribs taste like sh!t, chow mien doesn’t even taste like anything close. I’m really upset as I am so damn hungry and it’s gone pass 12 midnight now. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

OMG if only we had read the reviews. The most awful food we have ever had delivered as takeaway. Was supposed to be special holiday/birthday meal but all went in bin. Nothing like a Chinese and very expensive. DO NOT RISK AN ORDER - try somewhere else.

Tried asking if the food was halal and the waiter just started screaming at me. I once ordered from here and they told me the beef was halal, this time round the lady on the phone decided to just scream at me and say it’s not. Food was below average last time too but there’s no other food places nearby.

Absolutely dire! 3 of us up all night spewing! Pretty sure it was reheated from night before, I've never seen grease like it and u could smell that the oil used needs to be changed. Went to pour the sauce onto rice and it fell out like a massive blood clot! Don't waste your money! Just found out they have a 1 in food hygiene rating

Best Chinese meal we’ve had in a long time . Meal for two was amazing - so tasty

You could read the review from Craig a year ago and copy it word for word and it would be correct for us today. We ordered food at 18:45 + were told it would be an hour, just over. At 20:12 we received a text to say it was on it's way and the just eat platform said it had been delivered at 20:10. It's now 22:24. We just ate last night's jacket potatoes and beans as the food has still not arrived. We tried calling 60+ times and the line is busy/disconnected. Yes new years is stressful and COVID makes it extra hard for the hospitality sector. But it's still possible to communicate that you can't actually handle the order and let us make alternative dinner plans so there's time for us to do something about it. We will never order from here again.

Used to be very good and would provide extras. Last couples of orders have been very basic, over priced and not as they should be including fresh vegetables. I'm sorry to leave this feedback but it's not the first time. Improvements needed and the food hygiene rating should be looked at also. 1 star rating which would mean even the council would deem improvements are required (not just paperwork) . Glad just eat have refunded .

Beyond THE worst customer service I have ever received. The attitude of this man towards staff members and customer is something els. I understand a high volume of orders is stressful and can become overwelming but it's not difficult to be polite and respectful. Over changed me and gave me the wrong order to top it off. Save your efforts go somewhere els!!! The food I had been given was actually really nice, throughly enjoyed it. Fresh and hot. Unfortunately due to the poor customer service I am unlikely to return.

I ordered food for staff to have on their lunch break and it was not delivered... Said they left it outside of a hospital but must have been the wrong one... When I phoned I was told I don't care of your custom and loyalty as a rpeat purchaser... No refund no food... Very unprofessional...

We had another tasty meal delivered to us before the scheduled time. They always make the changes that we request. Excellent service and food.

Chicken balls not cooked Crispy beef over done Boiled rice over cooked Special fried rice no flavour. Mushroom chow main was lovely though. Will never order again as my daughter and I have not been very well over night and into most of the next day.

I've never had "fried rice" that was actually a glob of white rice mixed with Uhu glue with red stuff poured on top. It was horrible. The chicken balls were...maybe chicken? Who knows? And the ribs were nothing more than bones with a few shreds of tough, inedible meat. What a waste of money! And then when I looked them up and saw the food hygiene rating of just "1" ...I thanked God I didn't end up with food poisoning. How do they stay open???? Please, if you value your health and money, stay away!

What can I say ... Dire, dire, dire! The ' food' arrived on time, however it was all totally inedible! Spare ribs were dry, tough and tasteless, the chicken chow mein looked and tasted very weird! 🍋 Chicken .. encased in a greasy soggy batter was disgusting! Please don't order from this place! We looked up their reviews .. granted after the fact, should have done that beforehand! Also their food hygiene level is 1* that was in August of 2020. Complete disappointment and waste of money!

The absolute worst Chinese food ever. The egg rolls tasted like they came out of a plastic bag in the freezer, the beef with mystery sauce was nothing but gristley old shoe leather, the chicken chow mein had a weird uriney smell...I could go on. Save your money. This went in the bin.

I thought people's who ordered was fussy untill I ve actually ordered. I ve ordered from advance around 2pm through the just eat for delivered 630pm, its turn out at 830pm.delivery driver was literally kicked my door and before I opened my door he was already gone.kind of p...ick, food was cold which I have to warm it up in microwave, absolutely no taste at all. Please don't order through this junk restaurant because they can't cook at all. Shredded beef like I am eating cardboard, chicken chow Mein was chicken cooked literally 10 years ago and warm up in order and feel sickly. I will complain this cowboy restaurant through the just eat and i ll try to get my money back.

Awful. Just awful. Pre ordered food at 5pm for delivery at 8pm. It is now 9:34pm and they have said the order has been delivered and have taken the phone off the hook. Yes new years eve is busy, I understand a reasonable delay but this just screams bad management and money grabbing. Avoid like the plague. There are other, better, more reliable establishments than this. One star as zero was not an option.

Myself and my partner ordered almost £40 worth of food from this place via justeat. We tried to call them numerous times when the delivery was late but calls went straight to voicemail. Eventually the restaurant mysteriously 'closed' on justeat and we were told that our order had been delivered, which it definitely had not! Tried to contact justeat and told that this will be passed on to their investigations team and could take 48 hours to be dealt with. I asked to speak to a manager and was told not possible. I have been a loyal customer of justeat for some time but this was the first time we ordered from here. I am severely disabled and my partner is an NHS frontline worker. This is absolutely shameful and, in my opinion, criminal. I will NEVER order from this restaurant again and recommend everyone else avoid it too (I'm not even the only one who has had a bad experience with them). I will also never be ordering food from justeat ever again.

Wish I would have read these reviews before ordering. Possibly the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had. Food quality was terrible. Rubbery, hard, dehydrated, tasteless and the dishes that did have taste were flavoured like plasticine. I would make yourself some toast if you are hungry enough to consider ordering from here. Its just not worth the night of no sleep and the two out of three of us spending lots of time in the bathroom.

Had a massive order with work. Came 20 mins earlier than expected. Zero issues with any of the meals with a lot ordered & it was absolutely delicious. Massively underrated and would definitely choose here again.

Large order placed for delivery, all the food arrived on time and each order was individually bagged with the receipt attached. Food was great and left us full for the night. Owner even gave us a discount for been key workers. 👍

One of the worst meals we have ever had !

Order arrived with sauce everywhere in the bottom of the bag, sweet and sour on everything. Called restaurant who said they'd send out fresh chips and sauce but 'it would be a while'. Obviously not convenient as the rest of my food sits there going cold. Asked for a refund and the 'Boss' stated that as the order had left the shop there was nothing he could do. I ordered delivery direct from the restaurant. Customer service is nonexistent.

Food was over half an hour late which I can understand due to the circumstances but food arrived cold over cooked and burnt not enough sauce with the crispy beef and chips were soggy would not recommend

Really bad takeaway. Spend £45 for two of us to eat. Chicken dishes were watery. The chicken satay was like a wet juice with too many onions. The crispy beef was over cooked and tasted more like chewy burnt pork scratchings. It was all stone cold too. The crispy duck was dry and tough. Hard to shred ourselves

Awful food... everything appear to have been reheated from yesterday...at least that is my perception. Chips are chewy as is salt and chilli chicken. Crispy beef is black and actually tasted burned.. the rice was ok, about the only thing that was! never had such a poor chinese. Will certainly not be buying from there again!

Very disappointing. Tried it for the first time yesterday and the chicken was definitely undercooked, it was chewy and tasteless. Took around 2 hours to deliver (around an hour and half more than we were told to expect it by) and we got no apology whatsoever. I was sick this morning after having the Chinese last night. Wouldn’t recommend

Food on time but was not as good as we expected.

Pretty poor. Sweet and Sour Cantonese style was simply popcorn chicken in a sweet and sour sauce. No onions, peppers or pineapple and the chicken very dry. Would not recommend.

Arrived 10 mins late but god what a wonderful tasting chinese meal. Not sure why the negative reviews on here as i am very fussy but the food was so tasty better than one i go to all the time. Will defo be using again and again. 5*

Ordered two meals both arrived cold and late. Told that the chicken curry was mild by lady on phone so asked for more spice to be added - best curry my son has had. However my sweet and sour chicken was terrible had to throw most of it away. Bland, tasteless meal truly awful. Also told one price while on the phone but billed more on my card. Beware.

NEVER ORDER FROM THIS TAKEAWAY we ordered this food for 7pm at 5pm, it never arrived. We rang this "takeaway" several times and each time they told us the food was "on its way". That was until about 9pm when we were told that our food had been delivered. Ringing again, we were told that our food was on it's way "once again". At 10pm, we visited in person. We were told that we requested to cancel our order and that they were NOW CLOSED. They told us to contact Just Eat for a refund, despite the fact that they have a till in store (they had refused to compensate us at all at this point). Seriously, NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. Seems it's being run by con artists. Drive them out of business.

Worst meal i have ever had delivered, noddles way too salty and cold, rice over cooked, translucent chicken, cardboard beef in the special fried rice and chicken balls i could use in my next game of squash

The food was greasy and cold, the taste was vary bland, they delivered 30 minutes late.

I ordered my Chinese from here last night, I ordered at 8.20pm was told delivery would be 40 minutes. My food did not turn up until 10pm. Shocking service I phoned to complain ,and she said that they had a problem with their systems. I dont believe it at all nothing was said when I phoned at 9.30, to ask where it was awful service will never order from here again .

Not great. Ordered a tray of salt and chilli chicken, rice and chips. I asked if it came with sauce he said yes asked what sauce I wanted. The sauce was non existant, like the tiniest drizzle you can imagine and even then it was 80% water so it dried really fast. Rice was boiled rice - very dry, chips were probably microwaved - also very dry, chicken was extremely garlicy but the only edible bit of the meal really. Didn't manage to eat 70% of it due to the extreme dryness.

Good food that unfortunately I don't tend to finish until the next day. Competitively priced compared to the other takeaways. If you like Chinese food then worth a visit.

I order thought just eat they give me a time of 8.30, I phoned them at 8.40, and only to me told that it is out for delivery and that they got 4 drivers on, its now 9.20 and food was warm .... not happy with the service and the guy who took my call either the attitude was not good customer service,

I ordered a lot of food from here and everything was thrown together it was stone cold, and I wouldn't recommend . The customer services was disgusting they refused to speak to me and hung up the phone . Appalled .

Had a little blip as my food didn't appear to have any seasoning on and when I phoned to tell them the guy was super friendly and happy to come to a solution to solve it. They delivered me a new dish and then called back later to check it was okay. Which it was. Absolutely stunning. The delivery driver was very smiley and friendly too. Very happy with the service.

Awful place, ordered food at 6 o'clock paid by card all went through and gets taken out of my account rings me back up at 10.30 Asking for another 17 pound something and I refused because it's been taken out of my account and the awful rude lady on the phone shouting with disgusting attuidie what right does this company have to even ring me back up and ask for more money!! Rude wouldn't order from there again.

Awful take away. Tasteless food I don't think they can cook properly doesn't taste like all the other Chinese I've had. Wont be visiting again and it's not that cheap either I could cook it better I think.

Had the worst service ever tonight from Bridgend Oriental. I phoned at 5pm for a delivery at 6pm. I called them at 6:30pm because nothing had arrived. Instead of apologising, they claim there was no record of my order and hung up. I was then called back saying there was a delay with the delivery guy. 2 hours later, my order arrived, again with no apology and also had our poppadoms missing. I appreciate things can go wrong but an apology goes a long way and the service tonight was absolutely shocking. Avoid at all costs!
