Food come a whole hour and 45 minutes after I paid for it on just eat... not only is it overpriced the service is trash... the foods nothing special aswell. Hard chips. Frozen fish. No salad on kekab. Will be getting a refund for my cold food from just eat

Being stared at by male staff whilst ordering food made me feel uneasy. The atmosphere seemed off. Food was cold. Portion sizes have also reduced. I definitely wont be returning.

Not a good experience last night unfortunately ! Waited a very long time the girl on till definitely needs more training. menu seems too big! Battered chips not battered , cold & hard noticed a green ones too we didnt finish it . Had the wrong sauce on kebab, staff seemed miserable & stressed felt sorry for the orignal staff. This used to be our favourite chippy. Obviously teething problems as it's changed hands but we won't be going again just an honest review .

Having waited a hour and half for our food to be delivered last week 19th November…. Food wasn’t fit to eat chips where like they was left overs and the cod bites was just awful . Definitely won’t be coming back 👎👎👎

Cannot give it one star! Absolutely disgusting food! Chips were hard, cold, dry and green. The staff in there spent more time talking to each other than ensuring providing good customer service. One girl felt it appropriate to stand swearing whilst having customers in the shop. Can’t express how bad the food was.! Will not be returning. Place looked dirty, food vile, I could go on!!

Can not even give it one star been coming to this chippy for years didn’t no it was under new management till we got there today from the time the girl ask me what I wanted took nearly 25 minutes for her to do my order of 1 large Donner & 1 small Donner & regular battered chips no meat in the kababs the bit that was was freezing cold by the time she had finished serving me which I live 3 minutes drive away chips was terrible all you could taste was burnt & was just scraps & was charged same price for large donner £6.85 and small donner £6.85 will not be visiting again best thing I had from there was my can of coke

The food was hot and of good quality. There was a wait for battered cod, but they checked it twice to guarantee that it was cooked, which was great.

Last time we ordered for delivery we ended up with a lamb kebab instead of a mixed meat kebab. This time we were a portion of chips missing. The food that did arrive was cold. The battered chips were old dried up things. When I rang up about it I was answered by a young girl with a bad attitude and zero customer service skills. She was quite rude. She did send a fresh portion of chips, but these arrived 35 mins after the initial food order. We have used this chippy for years. But I am afraid they have lost customers.

Chicken Tikka and chips. £9 for less than half a portion of chips and what must have been the dreggs of what was left of the chicken. Salad must have been a day old. I understand this has been taken over recently. Well we won't be going back. Only solace is they won't last long as just I have done tonight the new owners will have wasted their money, ahh Karma!!

Just been charged £3.99 for a bag of chips and they were rubbish ill go to the swan fish bar in Burntwood next time

always used the bridge Chippy, just had 3 x large kebab meat and chips, new girl asked for help but didn't receive any, when got home with food very disappointed with the amounts (both chips and meat), not as it usually is.

When phoning up for a delivery the staff was so rude (a man) when explaining I had to no the individual prices for my job he questioned me and became really rude , keeped shouting over the phone to another staff member. Then says .... can't remember there name come and sort this out! Rude wasn't the word. If I was ordering for myself and not for my work purposes I would of hung up being spoken to like that. Definitely need support in customer service and lack of respect when speaking to customers.

Delivery. 4 meals £31 for cold and rock hard kebab meat. Been on the toilet for 2 hours after eating that crap

Has never served the freshest fish & chips, got fed up of stale dry chips and stale dry fish, and a pie that has to be microwaved. Chips like that should be free with the fish that is not worth anywhere near the money. Now I drive past it to a decent chippy.

Very disappointed again, food was barely warm dry and tasteless. I had sausages and chips husband had fish and chips. This is the last time we will come to the Bridge Fish bar waste of money.

For the prices they charge the portion sizes have halved! Total rip off! Large meat and chips I'd expect a decent serving not just 4 pieces and a few chips! Was cold as well!....your getting greedy chris and all us old Norton have now gone else where! RIP the bridge fish bar!

Just brought meat n potato pie n cone of chips £6-50. The pie was rock hard so dry. Won't be going there again what a waste of money

Asked for a simple order , to be bounced to 3 people to the pizza guy then trying to relay my order , the service was terrible headed by a much older women that gave a horrible vibe , customer service is very simple . To then be whispered about ! Staff are young and would learn a lot more if they had an older team member that could teach them ….. As a venue and business owner I’m surprised this lady can even be employed in a customer facing role , won’t ever visit again ….. didn’t even eat the food if that’s the staff they have , What are the standards like ?

Best battered chips ever! Friendly staff and excellent service, I do wish he was open a bit longer on a Friday and Saturday night but apart from that no worries. Thank god the only chippy in the village is a bloody good one!

So disappointed with this meal tonight! Went here a couple of weeks ago just for some chips and they were really nice. Decided to go again tonight and have a kebab and this was the portion size of a large kebab and chips! Absolutely disgusting! It’s not even two pieces of meat. My partner didn’t realise until we got home as they wasn’t facing him when doing it. Definitely will not being going back there

Great food & great chippy & great customer service. The pizza Kebab box we recently tried. It is such a good value for money, and tastes amazing. The girls who work there are always happy to serve, help. Especially Sam, Danielle. Highly recommend. I think the pizza kebab box is now our go to.

Fish is fresh and delicious. Love the battered chips and the pizza is amazing. The pizza dough was really good. Will definitely be my new local chippy from now on.

NOT WORTH 1STAR , have just been here to get lunch, had to repeat myself over and over as they don't listen to you when you are ordering, The chips were not cooked properly and hard the Gravy was Sparse and Dry it was disgusting....wont be going again and would advise you not to waste your money and go elsewhere.

My friend George Bromely and Charlie Homer recommend me this palace of a place.Staff couldn’t be friendly even got exclusive access to the kitchens in the back where I found unfortunately they were using children as workers but in the whole didn’t ruin the vibe great place to eat.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Friendly efficient staff you'll get served ASAP, good portions of chips but like all chippies now prices have increased, oh did I mention they do golden (orange) chips? Yes, they're not bad either ! NB: Oops, popped in for a bag of golden chips at 10:35, barely enough for 1 bag left in the fryer and they were very poor chips indeed. Make note to self... ( Take a rain check if theres only 1 bags worth left in the fryer) .. And, did I mention they're now £2.60 a portion... " Ouch!! "

Sad to say, as a long time Norton resident I've always used this chippy, but after spending £25 to receive 3 cold kebabs, which were meant to be large.... Get more meat from Mario's in a donner burger tbh. I will not be returning. Very disappointed!

Had two mini fish specials just last night and both were the most disgusting efforts for what passes as good food i have ever had the misfortune to suffer out of a chip shop. The chips were horrible bland tasteless lumps of every shape and colour imaginable, and even for mini fish there was very little actual fish inside of the armour plated batter that you needed a pnuematic drill to get through. The only positive is the staff and service is quick and efficient but was a truly disgusting not very cheap experience i ensure will never be repeated.

We had a friend up from London at the weekend and decided to treat ourselves to a Chippy. Bridge Street Fish bar delivered again. It was great. We'll be back again.

Exactly what we needed after moving into the area. So good we went back and had a second on the next night. I 'm certain we will go again as well. Friendly staff and quick service.

Quick and convenient, nice pleasant staff, and most of all food is good.

Never got any haddock and owner says he cannot get any, which is funny as all others in area have got haddock. Now do not go there at all and I live 150 yards away. I now use the chippy on Tesco heath hayes car park. Always got haddock and cooks it fresh for you. Beautiful.

Waited 45 mins for delivery rang up asked how long it would be was told one minute just around the corner, still took another 30 mins. Chips dry, kebab meat dry and hard asked for salad got a piece of a lettuce leaf and a quarter piece if tomato chopped up. Pizza was like eating dry bread. Will never use this place again

Waited and hour and 15 minutes for cold and food. Donor meat and salad portion (large) wouldn't fill up a child. Menu is going in the bin.

Ordered at 07:40pm Turned up after 10. It was cold. Poor poor delivery driver being stitched up. Paid £16 for a load of rubbish which went in the bin!

Called in here,i think Tue or Wed 21/22nd Jan 2020.Was served by a new girl I hadn't seen before.There was no sign of the owner that night.The chips were bone dry,the curry sauce was very thick and to top it off I found TWO hairs in my chips. The staff really ought to be wearing hairnets.

The food has gone down hill so much. You Ask for somethink large it comes like a small.there chips and meat are like rubber. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone it's that bad I wouldn't give it to my dog

This has recently become our local since moving into the area. A great selection available. Speedy service. Food is high quality. There isn't anything mini about the mini fish either. Good value.

First takeaway pizza from the chippy up the road but i have been told good thing do i tried it. I had the meat special with extra jalapinos the flavour was lovely.. loads of topping and not to greasy and for £7.10 cant complain. Abit late on delivery but still hot and nice i eat the lot defo better, fresher & alot cheaper than dominos my go 2 place from now on 👍🏻

Ignore the 1 star reviews. I have been a regular customer at The Bridge Chippy in Norton Canes for many years and have always had friendly service and enjoyed great food. One of my favourite takeaways is cod, battered chips, mushy peas and Chinese curry sauce. Would absolutely recommend *****

Have been a customer here for 11 years. The food and the service has gone rapidly down hill in the last 12 months it's also now cheaper to buy my family a Chinese than the set "deals". Tonight I was left in queue whilst 1 guy in front of me had placed a large order and was waiting for it to cook. I asked 3 members of staff if I could just get a cone of chips just to be looked at with blank expressions and completely ignored by all three.. not even an answer just blank stares! This included Chris the owner! Will not be returning again absolutely awful!!

Very poor experience. Was told my delivery would be here in 30-45 minutes. Nearly 2&1/2 hours later still no signs. This is disgraceful service. Only rated one star has can't post with no stars. I would recommend if you are using this chip shop please walk as other wise uou will be waiting until stupid o'clock for your meal. Let's hope when finally arrives its warm or i will personally taken back to shop.

Been going to this chippy for decades, it has never been the best but used to be good, now only go when busy or no time to cook. Never expect great fish n chips but passable, never go within half hour of opening to get better chance of having fresh chips. Can always tell when chips from when it closed are put back in the fryer, mixed with fresh chips, but ok to chuck the odd chip out. It seems it has got worse over the years, more frequently I can tell stale re fried chips, pies not hot enough, and the quality of the curry sauce is disappointing, it used to taste ok, now seems to have the consistency of brown silicone. My last visit at lunchtime, all the battered chips were stale, so was the fish, probably worst fish n chips I have ever had, I would not serve food like that to anyone. Do not care about the service, I do not take the service home to eat it. Said I would not go back there again before, this time it is set in stone..

Over charge for my meal and the food wasnt the greatest tbh
