Bravo Live Cuisine in Newry and Mourne

The food was cold, me and my friends went and they were charged as kids for 9.50 and I was a bit taller than them and charged 18.50 for adult even though we are all under 18

I went there tonight the food was absolutely gorgeous but it just wasn't replenished quick enough. It has definitely gotten dearer in the last few weeks. Plus still no card machine to pay.

Not much atmosphere but food OK. There wasn't much in pots and felt like I was taking last bits

Very good, a good place to eat and have fun.

Food is nice but most of it was cold and not a great selection. We had 6 people at our table and we asked for blackcurrant and water they brought it out in a small jug and we kept having to ask to have more then was charged an extra £10.80 for the jugs of juice. Not worth the money in my opinion. Some of the staff are very rude also. Wings world cuisine up in Dublin in by far the best buffet.

Unfortunately, food quality is getting worse every year. Not too mention, that it's cold, not much to choose from, as most often the diches are out of stock or very little. Deserts are the same. Ice cream looks dirty and empty I mean, we come here for all you can eat experience, with a selection of wide Chinese food varieties, but end up with chips And of course, the card machine is now +5 years broken. , be prepared to pay cash only.

Nice place for a meet, chat in fairly comfortable and quiet surroundings plus good food, staff hard working and efficient but to crack a smile and engage with customers would get that extra star.

Positives: spacious for family outing, reasonable desert options. Negatives: considering the size of venue, the food / cheffing is quite poor, they need do better. Buffet servings were in small portions and often did run out when in turn to serve. Not sure if I’d be going back.

Every time I go to this restaurant I am told that the credit machine is not working today. It is the same this last number of years this is a cash only restaurant

Service was very good and staff were lovely. Food was awful. Luke warm, tough (15 year old has braces and couldn’t eat half of it). Tasteless mush on a plate. I didn’t avail of the desert but husband and daughter did and were not impressed. Very disappointing. Card machine wasn’t working either.

Visited here for the first time in a long while and have to say i was underwhelmed to say the least. The reason been its exactly the same stuff that was on the menu as the last time i visited. All chicken based bar a couple of beef items and only fish was prawn toast. I know for £12 per person for all you can eat one cant expect much but at same time a bit more varity would be nice Sauce for sweat and sour chicken and honey and chilli were so thin more akin to a soup than sauce. Overall it was okay but honestly nothing to tempt me coming back and spending £19 on dinner especially seen the fresh live cooking was disbanded a long while ago.

Went to Bravo with my 8 year old . The food wasnt ready when arriving and had to wait for 30 minutes before able to eat . Child was not too happy as the chocolate fountain , marshmallows and ice cream machine were all turned off . We were told that it only is turned on after 5 pm . This is when the price per person increases. It should say on their website that these things arent available . My food was ok , but the chicken on skewers was rubbery and undercooked . Mentioned these issues when paying / leaving and was just told ' thats £17.99" 😳 Was dissapointing as had been there the week before with parents and partner for first time and had no problems . Would have been appropriate maybe to just charge for adult as my child only had a bowl of popcorn as what he wanted wasnt available .

Saw the signs at the entrance and over the Restaurant’s entrance to eat for £8.95 but it doesn’t tell you how the full story. Food wasn’t great seemed to be there a long time then when it’s time to ago guess what £8.95 became £16.95.Don’t GET CAUGHT and do the decent thing as a restaurant and take down your false street advertising!!!

Service got down to the bottom over years. Price jumped to sky high 17.99pp. Trays was constantly empty, if you get duck you wait on prawns, if you get prawns you wait on chips etc etc etc so you just end up eating what you were not intended to eat. They still called live cuisine? There are no live cooking for probably 3 years! No more sushi. Ice cream machine makes what my child called "frozen milk". They are not covering parking cost any longer. Constantly something doesn't work and they are not fixing for years i.e. coffee machine was out of order for couple years, ice cream machine probably for year and THE LAST DROP WAS CARD MACHINE which doesn't work for years, in last 4 years it was working maybe twice and now they have note at checkout about this so they are not intended to fix it and have no alternatives and only cash - with cash payments it is easy to work black books and they expect tips which they don't get with card payments. To get cash you need to cross car park (even in rain or storm) to get to cash machine which charged £3.99 for withdrawal!!! Card reader is so cheep in these days that smallest business can afford it so there is no legal reason as why they cannot fix it and of course they should remove any reference of cards i.e. internet, entrance etc, it is too late at checkout to find it for customer, what's if customer have exact amount on card which cannot be withdrawn?

Terribly disappointed at the food. Every batch of Prawns displayed were over salted. Seemed deliberate to prevent customers going back for more serving. Same with the fried chicken. If chicken and Prawns are over salted, what else is there to eat? Total waste of my money and time. I came all the way from Dundalk with two friends. Paid £17.99 each for absolute nonsense.

Not a great experience. We were waiting a good while before being seated.. the food is cheap and not so cheerful. Everything is laced with salt and had no other taste..grease was rising to the top of every dish and so unappealing. If you want hot food, temperature wise, defo don't go here. Everything is sitting out for hours on end. All you can eat dessert also a let down, everything tasted the same. Would not recommend this place for an all you can eat, dishes are thrown together and not a good use of ingredients.

Is it me or the card machine is always broken?? We were there twice before and it was broken. Will you not just post on your website “Cash only”??? Food is ok, staff is friendly but total rip-off. I only go there because my kids like it but it’s to expensive for the quality of food you get.

Had to order a drink 3 times before I got one waiting 10 minutes each time before I asked and woman behind the bar area was on a private phone call during work hours while I waited on her to finish so I could order a drink, won’t be back to say the least

Handy if you like to try different foods

Had a Good feed awesome food, plenty to choose from. Couldn't even manage the desserts. Everything I tried was delicious .

Food was amazing and quality of service was outstanding. The only reason for such rating is that the whole pleasant experience was ruined the moment I went up to the till to pay. Basically I was told that card machine is out of order and I am suggested to go across to shopping centre to withdraw cash. This was obviously very frustrating, considering these days no one carries cash. I would expect staff to at least bother telling us that card machine is not working, so I would have went up somewhere else. We ended up paying 50 pounds for my dinner instead of 32, because of ATM conversion rates and withdrawal fees.

Ordinary Chinese Buffet, eat as much as you can. Food is good but nothing special. Staff are polite and useful. Price is very reasonable.

Was surprised on entering that it was a buffet restaurant. Food was great and all you can eat. Good selection to suit adults and children and excellent staff. Definitely be back.

I did not like this place based on the food. It was in a good location, clean, good staff and plenty of room. We went on a Saturday. But the quality of food was poor. As was the selection. All high carbs and over cooked. No veg selection, almost all chicken. I couldn't even stomach what I had. I was bloated after 1 modest plate. No sushi, no pork, beef, dumplings, salads etc. Desserts were worse lol. Extremely overpriced for what it was. But more importantly, it sat heavy in my stomach for almost 2 days. 100% will NOT be going back the next time We are in newry. This review is based on having attended a number of similar Buffets Iaround Ireland.

Compared with other similar buffets (Similar price), this restaurant does not have sushi, soup noodle, Bbq of steak, seafood, lamb and spaghetti. Not recommended

I go to Bravo as much as I can, people often ask why as I cannot eat meat, when I mentioned to them this a few years back after they asked why I just take Broccoli & chips, they've continued to add more and more vegetarian options and each time I came back they would show me, Nathan & the team are always accommodating, courteous & go out of their way to ensure you enjoyed your visit.

Very hygienically served buffet with so many choices and as much as you can eat. Wonderfully tasty food and many dessert choices too!! Definitely a great meal to suit every taste!

Due to the Covid restrictions all food must be served to you by a staff member, which is not a problem as they are very generous with their portions but there is always a que for food. Great selection of items, lovely staff and kids loved the desserts.

Well bravo is truly amazing. You can eat as much as you like and only have to pay per person. I really enjoy there a lot. I always go with family and friends. The only problem I find is that they took out the sushi which in my opinion was very stupid has sushi is very popular. I am pretty sure because they took away sushi that bravo is not as popular but still is super amazing

Great lunch price, most food ok.. some a little too long out! That being said, definitely worth the money

It was perfect for family with two kids. You can sit down and start eating right away. Especially if kids need their energy fast. Restaurants desserts menu is huge and there was no problem getting kids to eat when they saw the chocolate waterfall. Very few vegetarian choices which they could improve and bigger beef selection than chicken when it comes to dishes.

Drinks reasonably priced and quality cuisine

It was a terrible experience this time...we went there sat with my 90 year old aunt, I asked them if they would charge her a bit less as she would eat very little, there was 4 of us plus my aunt, we paid £16 99 each, my aunt ate 2 cocktail sausages little gravy, spoonful of plain rice and one onion ring and to charge her a penny short of £17 is disgraceful..the young girl server who knew what my aunt had eaten went to see the manager to see if she could charge this 90 year old a little less, she came back and said its against their policy...although I recognize their policy I think managers discretion should have been used here..last year we went and they charged my aunt 5 pound as she ate so little we though that was really nice of them that's why we went back this year again....none of us not any of our friends will be going there again, we are all finding another buffet to go to..we have learned a valuable lesson that having a little respect for a woman of that age and the manager should adjust his policy...

Not the same selection as last time grant you it was a while since I've been there no wok cooking anymore place advertise open till 10pm we went in 8.45 not too long after that they started cleaning floors etc smell of dirty mops and cleaning fluid very off putting , was disappointed

Such a shame, there are a few things that let this place down...- No card machineIn this day and age there’s no excuse, there’s still a good few people from the South that visit Newry to shop and like us get caught out by this place not taking plastic.- Poor ServiceWaiting staff not the greatest by any means, they’re clearly more bothered about pleasing the boss than the customer. Friends recently were caught out by no card payments as had to scratch around for coinage to pay bill, 2p short and staff made big deal over it (boss won’t be happy etc).- Heavy on the SaltWhilst the food was mostly very nice, it was quite apparent that chef had a heavy hand when it came to seasoning, several of the meals were really salty, clearly this would benefit their pricing structure, in that all you can eat, but drinks (small ones at that) are extra. Many other successful chains have all you can eat, but compliment it with free refill plans for drinks.Fairly certain this place would seriously increase footfall/revenue if they took heed of the above.

Good place for eat all you can!

Great value and variety of foods

Have eaten here several times but think the latest time will be the last. Problem is lids are left up on the food containers so heat escapes. Result you have to gobble down your food as it’s just warm. There is nothing worse than food that is not hot. The first few times when they first opened the restaurant the lids were definitely kept down and the food was warm and delicious. Reported it to the waiter when paying and came up with ridiculous excuses not worthy of repeating. Surely food should be kept hot for hygiene reasons as well.

3rd time coming from donegal and never has it ever disappointed 15 Sterling each for all you can eat and food is amazingly fresh all the time. 5 stars well done would highly recommend.

Good place to take a hungry family at £15 a head a bit pricey it's all you can eat but one plate and a desert is enough. food is fine service is good drinks selection is limited can be busy so a bit of a wait is to be expected when ordering drinks.

Visited here recently to find the more expensive evening menu started at 4.30pm. Then told the food is not put out until 5pm. So you can have the day food from 4.30pm to 5pm but you will be charged the evening menu price. Came back after 5 and food was ok. A number of young children came in and were messing around the desert area. They then proceeded to stick fingers into the chocolate fountain. A staff member was in the area and did nothing until I mentioned this. Mentioned it again at till on way out but was actually wasting my time.I sent an email to complain (something I have never done before) and no reply. Sent a second email and stated that I was going to put my experience on Facebook. Very quickly after this I got a reply to say it would be looked into. Send a third email and no response back.I won’t be back. Very disappointed with the customer service. Disgusted that staff allowed children to mess with food.
