Most disappointing, The wait staff seemed very friendly but there were at least four people giving them orders so the place seemed rather confused. After we were escorted to a seat we felt somewhat abandoned and after about five minutes had to get up, walk to the desk and ask for menus. My wife’s French Toast arrived and was accompanied by 8 berries and a single tablespoon of whipped cream, only one side of the slice of bread had been immersed in egg. My Hot Chocolate was so watery that I left most of it behind. In fact we had eaten half of our meal before we could flag down a staff member and enquire about our yet-to-arrive drinks only to be told that the bar was very busy. Well that certainly made us feel better. We eventually left our half-eaten food behind, paid the bill and left, never to return. Until the quality of food and service improves I would recommend avoiding this place.

late here with my young child and had a bit of a mixed experience. Overall I don't think the standard of the food is high enough quality for the high prices. The dining room vibe was also not really premium enough for the cost. Not sure l'II go back but I won't will not for now. Pros: - very friendly welcome from staff who were very helpful. Took a little while to get served once seated and the staff who served us from that point were reasonably good. - decor in the bar/cafe area is very nice plus nice toilets. - a reasonably good range of choices on the menu. - kids food was smaller portions for half the price I think. I like this option but I think it would be better to make a note of the kids options on the menu to make things easier for parents. Cons: - the food quality wasn't really what I was expecting for the cost. Firstly the starter looked nice but was very bland. Then the pasta wasn't quite right. The pasta itself tasted nice and fresh but it was all stuck together in a blob. For the cost I expect the chef to know how to cook it so this doesn't happen. Then the mushrooms on the pasta weren't that nice really and it was pretty much just mushrooms on pasta as though the sauce had been forgotten. - the dining room decor is fairly nice but a bit lacking in cosiness plus it was very loud. Also, I was surprised to see dogs in it, including one that was barking. For the price I was paying I think it should look slightly more formal or special and certainly not have dogs in it. He had more of a casual cafe vibe which is fine but I'd go somewhere a bit cheaper for that. - we weren't brought any breadsticks. This disappointment my child as they like them and could see every other table being brought some.

Joli ballet d’une brigade de service bien rodée et à l’écoute, ce restaurant moyenne gamme nous a offert de délicieuses spécialités de pâtes italiennes. Un peu bruyant mais un samedi ! Et décor soigné.

Rather expensive. Also a limited range of drinks for children. Central London prices (£3.85 for a bottled milkshake?!) which may explain why it seemed rather quiet.

Lovely room with very friendly wait staff. Buffet presentation was lovely and food good. Would recommend staying at this Hotel when in the city.

Unbelievably dry food and mostly pastry rather than filling. Super dry and obviously been there a long time. Would not go back

First visit here and I have to say my blueberry muffin was the best I ever had. Proper sweet blueberrys inside. Incredible and a lovely moist muffin. I ordered a coffee but their machine had broken but the tea was fine. Plenty of it with decent crockery. Recommended for me with outdoor seating also
