Watched a band, great atmosphere friendly people there staff were good

There is no real ale here unless you buy a bottle at £4.50 each,so that's a rip off. They accept vaping indoors which not for me. There was a strange sewers smell in the beer garden.

Had a wonderful time. Staff were great and very attentive. No waiting and if 1 was serving another was helping out if they weren't!

No hit drinks was a bit of a missed opportunity these days. Cramped inside and not enough warm spots outside for a cold evening.

Busy but pretty nice. It's a Small but you can get in and out using the pub garden gate so it's not such a big deal when busy. The pizza place was awesome.

Great pub, great pizzas from Pizza Pi. Staff always friendly. Some of the negative feedback is from 5 years ago when it was very different, don't be put off by that.

Love this place. Friendly staff, always make me feel welcome, right from day one. Live music Sunday from 6.30. Food is pizzas only and decent too.

Clean and tidy, toilets always clean and the drinks are lush. Adding Pizza availability was also a great addition!

Played 90s music whilst we got drunk in the afternoon. Couldn't be happier 😁 Really nice place and staff were lovely x

Great pub and best pub quiz (only quiz you get shots for being dumb(not that I’m dumb but let’s say I was then it’s great cos I’d get shots(but I’m not dumb so I wouldn’t know))) seriously tho best pub going, also the cruzcampo 😮‍💨😮‍💨very romantic atmosphere

Love this place. I dropped some money on a busy evening, it was handed over to the bar staff, and l actually got it back. Special mention to the lovely manager who was so helpful. X

Lovely revamp of an old pub. Friendly staff, nice relaxed atmosphere. Outside area being extended so will be great throughout the summer. Worth a visit

The neck oil wasn't up to scratch and refurb is good in parts but not quite there in others e.g. Very dark as wall and ceilings painted in dark colours, cladding on walls looks a bit cheap tbh! Bar staff friendly and welcoming and it's certainly a step up from the old Alma!

I use this chippy nearly every Sunday & food is always spot on, I think reviewer Sunseeker273 who says they tried this shop three times & had boxes of greasy chips went to a different shop as I've never seen chips served in a box here.

Excellent place to be with friends

Have to say that after reading good reviews.. ...Tried chippy 3 times and chips are worsed ever. Gave it 3 attempts to allow for slight discrepancies but alas still supplied with a box of greasy potatoe bits. Tried you 3 times certainly won't be a 4th.

Este "fish and chips" sirve los mejores kebabs nunca y siempre con una sonrisa amable del personal. El pescado y las patatas fritas son hermosos siempre cocinado a la perfección.

Sí, estábamos influenciados por el pescado de publicidad en la calle, pero estamos tan contentos de haber parado! Algunas buenas bromas mientras esperábamos por lo que resultó ser de pescado y patatas fritas (adecuado y salchichas). Que lleguen a todos los lugares a la derecha y así sabemos a dónde ir la próxima vez estamos pasando de esta manera!

Primera clase chipshop. Personal amable. Comida muy buena este lugar siempre está lleno. Siempre hay que hacer cola para la comida. Este es tan popular. No nos podemos quejar...

Always go to here. The food is amazing. We have the Cod it is the best fish & chips I have ever had. If you've not tried it yet I recommend you do soon.
