Very good for a coffee or a nice prosecco. It's got a small winter garden in the back with a few table where you can smoke.

We sat in the very sweet back garden for dinner, aesthetically the place is lovely. Unfortunately the food way very overpriced and underwhelming. My soup was six pounds and was essentially some courgette and tomato that had been placed in a blender. My boyfriend commented that it was better classified as a paste, complained but they didn't care. It's a cute place and the wine is very good so I would come here for drinks and olives.... Not dinner.

We stayed in Notting Hill London recently - and happened upon this little sweetie looking for something a little different and quiet. This place is charming. The service, food and wine is Italian authentic, low key and just lovely. The food was gorgeous we had an antipasto plater that was the best antipasto platter ever experienced. Beautiful cheeses, cold meats, Italian pickles. Followed by stunning mains and the most sublime bottle Italian of red to acompany. They also do coffee and have a lunch board special as well everyday. We didn't have to book for dinner we literally turned up. Highly recommend this little sweetie for a casual authentic Italian meal. Little wooden tables n chairs , small, cosy and really atmospheric.

The idea is nice but there is a lot to improve. Nice place and location, people are really from Friuli. But ...Limited menu: you would then expect amazing quality of food but it wasn't. Prosciutto quite average, frico to minimum standards, only the pasta was good. Nice selection of wines but overpriced for the types of wines offered. Suggestion: offer some more affordable and also, if you want, some really high end. Service definitely to be improved. Yes they are very kind and want to please you but the food arrived late altogether, including the starters ... It wasn't as warm as it should have been. And they were continuously wandering around looking for a bottle from the shelf, bringing something, ... A sort of family setting, but NH priced: to decide where to position then. I think they can improve and I wish them so.

I've been here twice mainly because I do come from Friuli, the region they want to portray in their restaurant. Didn't like the atmosphere, the handmade gubana was non edible and in no way it resembled the real gubana from Friuli. The tiramisu', again was not a real tiramisu'. The cakes were left on the counter uncovered so anyone could have breathed germs on them. Had a quick look behind the counter and hygiene seemed to be lacking. Toilets were dirty. We had an espresso and that was actually good. Overall very underpriced and poor quality food. Never again.

I was pleasantly surprised to find here such a nice and well presented frico. All the other dishes where nice and well presented too, but I think the wine we had is not the best taste of white wine from Friuli and definitely too expensive for the quality of the product. We had dinner here with friends. This restaurant prepares traditional dishes from North East Italy (Friuli Venezia Giulia). Forget about pizza and pasta, this is traditional regional food. The place is small and very cosy, there is also an outside patio. Food is genuinely good with true ingredients imported from Friuli. The staff is extremely friendly and competent. The must have here is the Fricco with Polenta, a mix of cheese and potatoes. Wine are also good as Friuli is home of some of the best whites. The only negatives is (a) the spritz at £8 (in Friuli they cost €2.5 ... ok it's London, but they shouldn't be more than £5) and (b) the cheese and ham appetisers are good but pretty small (don't get them if you are hungry). Other than that, a very nice place.

The Manager will tell you the story of the food you are eating, the tradition it comes from, and what superb wine will go with it. I had burrata (some special kind of mozzarella) with artichokes, pumpkin gnocchi with broccoli and clams, and a tiramisu. The menu looked fascinating and regional. The waiter described each dish with great enthusiasm: many ingredients were imported. Then (rather too forcefully) he kept 'suggesting' a very expensive wine on the menu, saying it was perfect for what we had ordered - and that wine was his passion. We stood firm and ordered a cheaper one. It arrived warm. We told him it was warm and this 'connoisseur' brought us some ice to put in our glasses (!).The soup was too thick, unseasoned and utterly tasteless. My crab ravioli arrived cold and tasted so awful I couldn't finish it. It looked and tasted as if they had opened a tin of crabmeat and emptied it over the pasta. My friend's pasta was overcooked and the blue cheese sauce it was purported to come with was undetectable to the taste buds. To be fair, they knocked my dish off the bill when I told them it was 'not very nice'. It's only been open since April. I fear not for much longer.

On a recent visit, I was quite disappointed by their customer service, the people there were not attentive, it took half an hour to place an order or to avail a service as no server paid attention. The dessert we chose to have was the tiramisu, and after tasting it my friend and I decided that there was seriously something wrong with it, when we made a complaint we were informed that another table had complained but the chef said that nothing is wrong, we still could not get ourselves to eat it. Arrived in London to meet friends coming to England from New York. It is evening, and walking around Nottinghill Gate for first time we are all very much spoiled for choice - or we would have been except for the fact we encountered Bottega Friulana on Portobello Road. Didn't even get as far as walking past to then reflect and decide. The decision to eat there occurred the moment we saw it. Instantly appealing. Simple, cosy, very homely, with great service - and enthusiasm for his food - from the proprietor Giuseppe. Tiny inside, the place probably has only 12 covers. We walked in as a group of 6 and he accommodated us brilliantly. Telling us about the Specials actually got me excited, and when I ordered one of them I was not disappointed. Indeed none of us were disappointed, the food is sublime. Hand crafted with an earthly passion for taste and quality. Small but good selection of wine, due to swell shortly as Giuseppe evolves the business. We plan to go back there on final night here in London. 140 Portobello Road020 7243 9382 ask for Giuseppe

My partner and I were drawn to Bottega Friulana from the street because it looked like it had a friendly and warm vibe, it served Italian food (our favourite), great Italian wines (again, our favourite having spent 4 months living in Italy) along with a great ambience. On arrival, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially with our wine selection, but on reflection we wished we'd only ordered an antipasta with our wines. Instead, we ordered two courses for dinner from the limited menu and they were tasteless, poorly presented and we didn't finish them. We would recommend Bottega Fruilana stick to great anti pastas because the rest of their delivery is great.

Wonderful restaurant with a diverse menu. You are really spoilt for choice and I highly recommend this haunt The wine was good too and the servers friendly and professional. I will definitely return.

I was really looking forward to reviewing this place as it looked very good with a nice menu however I cannot as my wife and I left after 15 minutes as all that happened in that time is we were given menus and told what was not available. Two tables that were seated after us received menus, ordered drinks and then ordered their food. We were ignored completely for some reason and so we left and had lunch at Gordon Ramsey’s Burgers in Harrods which is literally across the street. The manager saw us leaving but made no attempt to find out why which made the whole experience even more disappointing.I will never go there again.

Traditional English Breakfast(9.95ポンド)を注文。

This is the best food hall pizza I have eaten. This Napoli pizza is the very best in London in unlikely location. Choose my topping, salami, chicken, extra cheese, and wild rocket.
