Bon East in Aberdeen City

This place is consistantly amazing. Not local to me but go out my way to go here. Any chance you can do a special kung po?

Has seriously gone downhill after years of being really good, bought a meal for 2, mixed starters were very dry and meat on the ribs and wings were quite tough. Chow mein lacked any identifiable sauce, chips and rice also very dry, only good item we had was the chicken in satay sauce. Must do better.

Favourite Chinese. Huge portions, free prawn crackers and wing pending how much you spend.

Good size portions for the price. Nice curry sauce not too spicy. Staff always friendly.

Amazing, got to have their special chow mein it's the best. Had the fish soup, and it wasn't too overpowering ( fishy ), definitely a go-to for me. Just had the salt and chilli squid and wow cooked to perfection absolutely my go-to for a Chinese. Tried spring rolls the other night, and they're very nice. Veg still had some texture it wasn't complete mush like some other Chinese places I've been to. The free wings they give if you spend over a certain amount are amazing. I wish they did them as a starter.

I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't discovered this takeaway yet! Food is incredibly tasty, portions are decent, service is fast and not too expensive. The best Chinese take-away in town!

First time we tried the take away. It was absolutely delicious, so tasty. Can’t fault it at all. Had the Hors D’ouvres and half an aromatic crispy duck. More than enough for two dinners. At least 12 pancakes, free bites and prawn crackers too. Highly recommend 🤩

Food nothing like it was when traded as Jade by dedicated owners many years ago. They often close earlier than advertised if not busy, not very consumer oriented owners, I go elsewhere now, shame to see it run down.

Doesn't matter how much noodles I eat there the box (yes box, just like the movies!) it still seems to be a full box. Never ending noodles. Yum. Love the salt and chilli chicken.

Worst chicken maryland I've ever had! most of it was ok but couldn't even chew the chicken breast it was like a piece of leather and for £10.50 seriously disappointed! Never going back

Ordered a chicken maryland was disgusting chicken was burnt but raw inside,chips were cold and banana and pineapple fritters soggy.Had to bin.£15 wasted.Avoid at all costs

Ordered for the first time yesterday. The food was o.k but not the best. Delivery was fast. The worst part was that we found hair inside two separate dishes. Not ordering again.

This has been my "go to" for the last 6 years. Always consistent, friendly staff and cant beat the crispy shredded chilli chicken 👍🏻

Ordered via just eat. Delivery late. Ordered chicken curry...received chicken and cashew nuts!!!! Dangerous if i had a nut allergy. When i phoned to complain was told it was because they were busy. Unacceptable to give this as an excuse when allergies can be life threatening!!!

The food's nice enough, but it hardly ever arrives in time. Even collecting on the shop doesn't help. Been standing waiting 45 mins past collection time

Discovered this takeaway on Just Eat and being ordering regularly. Delivery is always early, orders correct and food delicious. Huge portions meaning lots of leftovers for the next day. Chicken satay is very good

I’m local and always use this takeaway. Deliveries are never later than promised and the food is consistently very good. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Everthing is cooked in old oil so you get that burnt taste in mouth not that great

Ordered food at 18.35 promised food at 19.45 we then get message to say it would be at 20.35. That time came and went wouldn't pick up phone we must've tried a dozen times,finally arrived at 22.10 food refused it was cold.

Disappointed with Bon East tonight. If I could rate 0 start I would - in a time when Aberdeen applauded the NHS, Bon East refused to deliver to our place of work and I quote "because it was a hospital". Bon East were advised that at no point would they have to enter building and still refused - disgusted in this response especially as this workplace has given them loyal and frequent business in the past..... I personally will not be utilizing Bon East again......

Curry sauce tasteless Chips very average Spicy chicken was rock solid and cold even though picked it up, confident it was reheated Overall poor standard of food and more love should be put into it

The worst Chinese I've ever had,salt and chilli chicken was brick hard,salt and chilli prawns were long shaped - like chicken strips but tasted disgusting and the Singapore noodles had hardly any veg meat and tasted of oil😡

Been going here for years the best in Aberdeen.

Spring rolls are fantastic. Chicken and sweet corn soup is tasty. However they must put in additives or msg or whatever it is into their main meals as I have had a reaction several times now. Due to this I now avoid the main meals and stick to the starters. The starters alone are worth trying this place. The salt and pepper chips are very nice.

They can make any Chinese food dor us, even it is not in the menu.

omg, this is best chinese ive tried so far in aberdeen. ordered wings, chili chips, singapore rice and king prawn chow mein and honestly, been eating it for hours on and off cause its sooooo delicious! <3 love love love

Used to love this place would never order again one they don't know what is ment to be in dish second chips looks and taste day old bought 2 meals when I called to say was wrong just got women saying it was fine so all in bin won't be going again

Wrong order again. Nice when it's right but it's wrong too often.

Awful! Placed order online, delivery was set for 1hr 15 mins after. After an hour and a half I phoned to see where my order was, told it's on its way. Phoned again 30mins later to be told the same thing! 15 mins later delivery turned up! Free wings were shocking, no meat at all but hey ho! They were free! Lucky if I got 6 pieces of chicken in my sweet and sour and the satay sauce is more like gloop than sauce! Chips were pretty disgusting too, prawn toast was nice though!

Best Chinese we’ve found so far in Aberdeen. The chow mein is the star of the show. The prices are what you would expect for a Chinese takeaway, and when we order it normally takes 10-15mins until ready for collection. Would definitely recommend.

Always decent food, service mostly OK and things generally on time. Prices reasonable and I've never had any worries about cleanliness or hygiene which is probably rare these days!
