Ash is a great bar man! Great spot for afternoon drinks in the sun! Excellent cocktails and amazing service. Would recommend!

I have been frequenting this fine establishment for about a year now. The owner has a very personable aura, who makes you feel welcomed and apperciated rain or shine. The venue itself has stunning views over the Balham High street, which provides ample chances for stunning photography. I would recommended the Rob Roy cocktail, Ash and his team put their own spin on it, making it a modern classic!

Bob bar Balham is amazing! Cheapest drinks within the area, crazy deals and not to mention the staff are incredible! Big shout out to the Barman Shayne Saturday 2nd Sept, he was awesome! What a great atmosphere, drinks and tunes! And so much double gin for £5 couldn’t complain! Will be back!!!!

Awesome vibes thanks to Ash, Balham's friendliest barman. Always goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great time. Highly recommend popping down to the Postmarket and having a chat and a drink from Ash.

Hole in the wall steak restaurant, great casual dining alfresco dinner. Best steak we've had in a while and great accompaniments (would recommend the blue cheese sauce and the green beans!) Dog friendly too!

Shared the cote de boeuf which was delicious. Small venue so we sat outside, but it’s under cover and has a heater. Would definitely recommend for meat lovers in the balham area. Also 30% off on a Tuesday!

Excellent rump steak for two, very tender, nicely cooked rare. Marinated pork chop very good, large, tasty, thick cut butcher's chop. Excellent salmon tartare starter. Savignon blanc good and reasonable price but could be colder. Malbec very drinkable with the steak. Minor quibble, not a great choice of soft drinks. Went on Thursday, booked online, 50% off all food, wow this is stellar value.

DISGRACE. Dirty plates glasses and cutlery. Toilets dirty no toilet roll. Shopping trolly left in the restaurant. Wine choice awful price v retail is insane. Waiter couldn’t advise on any food or wine choices. Steak was not edible. Had to leave after starters - tried the steak and was not edible. Was happy to pay for bread and spritz nothing more. Avoid at all costs

Good quality meat and priced well. Not the ambience you would expect for a French steakhouse. Way too much salt throughout the food. Friendly service

Just went for lunch. It’s exactly what was missing in Balham. Great location excellent food . Will definitely come back .

Really friendly proprietors and team. Very tasty food. Had a great bottle of Cotes du Rhone which paired well with the steaks and the cheeses.
