Food was over priced for the poor quality. Service was good except last day told we weren't sat in dog friendly area except the fact we asked where to sit and had drinks served in that section all week noone said a thing. When told to move server walked away with drinks and we had to chase him.

Absolutely shocking 😲, ordered cooked dinner, 3 time's we sent them back after spending £80 between us, as dinner was cold, 3 time's !!! How can this be.. wasn't allot on plates either for £16.99 , ended up cancelling and having money back and cancelling our free afters they offered the 1st time the dinner came cold.. won't be eating here again to be ripped off..

A little crowded and loud for my liking. Even outside of peak season. Service was good, ordering on the app was a pain as it wanted so much information and the signal inside is poor. Prices were much higher than I'd like, especially for kids and drinks. I wouldn't eat or drink here more than once for a weekend break.

We had really good service from staff member named Will who made us feel welcomed and was very nice, getting us a good table despite having an allocated dog seating area which was all full at the time. He also served us with a smile and a positivity around him.

Amazing food, staff really friendly

Paid £15 for nachos, and it came with a very small amount of Jalapeños. I asked if I could have a few more and the woman came back saying 'the chef said you have to pay for them.' I looked on the menu and there was no option for extra Jalapeños. We paid quite a lot for 3 meals and 3 drinks and they wouldn't provide something so small. Shame.

Very expensive. Food was ok although some of the breakfast items (sausage and bacon) wasn't warm enough. Service was decent though. For evening food you should do your bank balance a favour and go to a nearby pub. Much better value.

Wonderful food!!! The grilled chicken noodles hit the spot for me. Churros were nice & warm, with 1 out of 3 sauces being allowed to choose from. The restaurant is quite big & had always been clean, neat & tidy. Order from the table or order at the bar. Received a pleasant service here. Staff are friendly aswell.

The food was awful, we had chicken curry the chicken and rib combo and the kids sausage mash and beans. The chicken from the combo looked like it had been microwaved, the mash looked like rice pudding and the chicken tikka was definitely a cheap sort of curry from a tin. It looked like cat food 🫠 we ate the chips and left 🫠🫠

FILTHY. Hairs in food, all of the cutlery was filthy, toilets are disgusting. Many people sending their food back, plus it’s stupidly expensive. Avoid

Wow in a beautiful location in Park Dean Porthcawl at the same time in the undercover centre live music played the food wasy nice I wouldn't say cheap but it was nice the staff were great well worth a visit for sure

Had food Friday evening arrived quickly and food was nice so we went back on Sunday 30/06/24 again arrived quickly staff was lovely but the roast dinners was cold didn’t like to complain at the time as the staff was lovely and John on Friday evening was very helpful

Although it was busy we had a pizza then I wanted a strawberry pancake stack I waited nearly an hour and ended up cancelling it as we wanted to go. Nobody was bothered no apology. I'd looked forward to this and was disappointed. Better service at tymawr

Loved this place, what a gem if you can find it hidden in trecco bay holiday park. Went for my daughters birthday meal after coney beach fair. Food was lovely great prices fast service, atmosphere was great, outdoor seating with big screen tv huge park and splash park will definitely visit again. 🥰

Took a long time for the food to arrive and was a bit disappointed with the taste when it did finally show up. I had a burger, and my partner had grilled chicken. Both were bland and nothing special unfortunately, chicken looked as though it never actually saw the grill. On the plus side the desserts were great, when they finally showed up!. Generously its a 3 star.

What an experience! Went to the bar to get served, had to wait while the staff were having a good chat resulting to me having to ask the bar tender "are you serving?" I ordered starters and mains. Starters arrived in good time but to then receive my main while I was I was still eating my starter, I explained to the waitress (jess) that I was still eating my starter with no response and left. I went back to the bar to ask to speak to the manager so that I was able to complain but ended up speaking to the supervisor who explained that she was new and that Sundays were difficult and busy. From what I could see the staff had plenty of time on their hands as they done a lot of standing around and talking. They all seemed very young and unprofessional and didn't come across as very welcoming.

Amazing food , staff are so friendly and helpful could not fault anything. Bargain when the kids eat for half price a little pricey otherwise but still defiantly worth it as food was amazing.

So as a group we decided not to cook whilst we were on holiday, the boathouse seemed to be a good idea as its thr on site Restaurant. We place the order on the parkdean app The food arrived cold, and one plate was still frozen in the middle of the food. The staff were friendly , but the food is low quality and expensive.

Food and drinks arrived quickly, customer service was great. We went for food and tried the ribs and chicken and bacon carbonara both dishes were lovely and portions were really good. Second day we had the bacon and cheese burgers and they were lovely, the burgers were thick and their coleslaw is amazing. Our last day we tried the traditional breakfast which was also good but could’ve included toast. Will be back again 🙂

We had a really lovely meal here. Sometimes eating at a caravan site can be expensive for poor quality but the food was really nice and the staff were really nice too. I only vote it down a little bit as it's quite cold in there.

This cocktail was expensive, not made as advertised, and tasted yuck. As for the long black hair in my food, well, that's another story. I thought last year was poor. This year was worse.

Food came first, drinks were delayed, (drinks always served first) and I had to walk to counter to collect, chips was cold & little uncooked as could taste it frozen. menu didn't say chicken legs, it was gross, I hope for chicken breast. The beef burger was taste cheap. For the price I have paid is not worthy. Not a happy customer, won't be back or recommend anyone about this. Staff is jobsworth. I don't usually moan, but it's was worse & food also price!

Normally I'd give 5 star 🌟 absolutely love the place However based on last experience I'm giving a 3 🌟 atmosphere is always great child and wheelchair friendly staff are polite Food wasn't great this time around steaks were ok slightly over cooked and coffee was stone cold Steaks I'd understand maybe being a supplier issue However coffee being cold isn't acceptable Breakfast is nice needs to add black pudding to the menu

Had a meal & a breakfast cob here & neither were that good, the food was not hot & was not VFM.

Waited nearly 40 minutes for a round of drinks, it wasn't heaving, and wasn't complicated. 2 x J2Os (bottle tops just taken off) 2 x tap waters (turn tap on) A pint of cider and a Gin and lemonade...... 40 minutes!!! Also very expensive!!

The food surprised me. The curly fries and coleslaw was the reason I went back. The burger was good. The chicken burger was brilliant. Would return for this alone. Had issues with app, and when ordered deserts, they never arrived so got a refund. Several people working their butt's off clearing tables need an award for their efforts and the young lady who still had time for a smile and to check on our order without us prompting. There were 5 adults and 2 children

Food tasted like it came straight out of the frozen sektion from aldi. So for the price we paid would definitely not recommend this place. Absolutely no atmosphere either.

Breakfast was cold, even when I sent it back it still came back cold yet the plate was hot. They must have taken a plate out of the oven and just transferred the food to it thinking it would warm it up. The wait for the food was awful, they must have known how busy it was going to be this weekend (Elvis festival) so you'd think they'd have the staff in the kitchen to cover it. We then headed round to the gift shop only not to be allowed in as had to wear a mask, not once had we been told on the site that we had to wear a mask, not even when we went in to get our breakfast. The woman the shop got leary when I said to her, noones asked us to wear a mask anywhere on site, to which she said can't come in without a mask. Their loss we were gonna go in to buy the kids and grandkids gifts who we hadn't brought a loss to them of around £100-£150, clearly they don't need the busy. I walked away talking to my sister and said oh well their loss, to which the woman shouted back not my loss I don't care. We then headed off to town where they were happy to take our money with no masks on. Other than that Sunday morning before heading home the atmosphere was amazing and everyone on the park were all very friendly. Will be bad next year, but we'll bring our own bits to make breakfast at least the food will be hot and won't cost a fortune.

Where to begin, the staff were incredibly rude could not have cared less about the customers, the app doesn’t let you change things so had to order via the till we were informed the card machine wasn’t working so had to pay cash which wasn’t an issue but because we didn’t have a five pound note we was made to feel like a nuisance and given our change all in silver coins which wasn’t ideal. Now on to the food.... we ordered a veggie breakfast and the larger breakfast the food came out completely cold, the mushrooms were inedible, the beans were freezing and the veggie sausages were disgusting. The meat breakfast was also disgusting with undercooked bacon and sausages that looked like a good vet could bring them back to life. The food had clearly been reheated and was awful.. we all left large amounts of food. My daughter had the Nutella pancakes which she seemed to enjoy but she’s 4 and doesn’t have the highest standards of food so take from that what you will. The food was expensive please if you value good food and enjoy a nice meal save your money and go somewhere else near the sea front this place should come with a hazard warning!

Much to be approved upon! Almost every single member of staff was chatting together, when asked a question I would be redirected to another member of staff four times before getting any answer of where my food was, didn't seem to know what anyone was doing, not very clean, food was okay not really worth the price, unlikely to return in the future, highly suggest more experienced staff members not young staff playing around getting no service.

When for a late lunch very good price with the 30% off the price 😀 👌

Cannot believe that we are having to wait two hours for a breakfast order with no apology or explanation. This is the very worst level of service I have ever received and beyond amateur. You are not even busy!! Ridiculous.

Sorry but this is low quality cafe food. Previously 7 of us aged 6 to 60 ordered different meals. Nobody enjoyed, and we all left large amounts of food. This time fortunately just 2 adults for the large breakfast. Not wishing to go through each item, sufficed to say, half tasted poor, and half tasted awful. The hot chocolate tasted of hot milk only, explaining why we saw several hot chocolate drinks left on tables, and not drank. I asked for it to be remade, and it was then drinkable. So, 2 visits, 2 bad experiences. If you have low expectations you will not be disappointed.

Such a slow place sat waiting for nearly 2 hours for food ordered drinks didn't have correct drinks staff don't know what there saying still haven't had food sat waiting

FIRST & last time I will go in here. Ordered 2 coffees and took a while to come, weren't that hot. Then ordered 2 cokes & a glass of water, 25 mins later no sign, went in twice to enquire where they were to be told twice they were on their way. After waiting 45 mins, I went back in to cancel the order, they tried to reassure me they were coming, went back to my seat and they eventually came. It wasn't particularly busy at the time of our visit, heard people on the next table also complaining about the waiting time and that they were sent the wrong food.

Limited menu. Chicken burger is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly cooked park onsite is amazing the kids loved it. Keep eye on your order numbers tho as I ended up waiting over 1 hour for a hot chocolate yet kept receiving all other orders I processed.

I've been staying at trecco bay with family and ordered for take away, I ordered half a roast chicken and recieved a boiled chicken thigh, the fish I ordered was like a brick, loaded fried were cold with raw bacon and nothing else, green beans were like rubber, peas were like bullets. The only decent thing was the filling of the stake and ale pie! Complete waste of money, will never eat here again!! I've tried to make a complaint, I've been promised a phone call back 3 times and still not heard anything! I wouldn't even waste your time looking at the menu.

Sunday roast wasn't the best need to try to put better veg on and meat was dry.

The food is very basic, the usual mass produced microwave stuff. They obviously don't really like vegetarians as there is not really any choice to be had. For what you get it's a bit overpriced. The drinks are expensive and the bar is chaos, they moan about not knowing who to serve next, but there is no queuing system in place which can result in some frayed tempers. I would not really recommend this place

We had 2 meals there over a period of 5 days. The first was well bellow the standard we expected but the second was ok.

A typical holiday park eatery. Food choice was good and arrived within around 15mins after 'service' was shouted out from the kitchen area. A bell may be a better form of communication. I enjoyed both an evening meal and a breakfast here. Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable.

While on holiday I have eaten at the coast many times. The food is ALWAYS delicious and the drinks are too. This place is soo good that it even has a gluten free menu and an awesome Park outside. My friend is a celiac and even she loves this place. The desert are really delicious and always really really nice to have.

Food labelled as vegan is not actually vegan. Came with parmesan and non vegan garlic bread. When I queried the parmesan they took it away and replaced it without parmesan and garlic bread, they told me they cannot do vegan garlic bread even though it is on the menu as vegan. When I asked to speak to a manager to make them aware of the possible allergen issue they told me I have to order it as vegan even though it is in the free from section and labelled as vegan. Apparently it is my fault. EDIT: After a second complaint, a refund was issued for the dish.

Absolutely disgusting. They've labelled meals as vegan which aren't and when my husband went to complain about this they told him that it just means they "can make this vegan" no mention of this in the menu which clearly states "Suitable for vegans". Horrible attitude from the staff and management.

We had food here twice and both times had to waite over an hour each time for are meals on the second occasion we ordered some dirty fries (that's what they call them) fries topped with cheese and bacon well it looked horrid I wouldn't of fed it to my dog let alone to a person. The cheese was that horrible very processed stuff needless to say looked nothing like it did in the picture on the menu. Rest of the food was OK at best. The restaurant is on a holiday Park at Trecco bay

Amazing food, amazing staff. Give this beautiful place 100% I come here a lot with my family and never been disappointed x
