Ordered a savaloy. It wasn't. Not sure what it was made from but it wasn't pork. I know the area has more muslims now. But surely you can cater for everyone. Or at least let customers that have been going for years know?

A year back Flames Kebab and Fish bar was called Blue Sea specializing in fish and chips. I never got round to trying it before they closed for a while to refurbish it. Recently they reopened and the name of this joint is now Flames Kebab and Fish bar. As they only accept cash, it took me a while to finally visit this place because everything is card these days and I do not shop at the market. So one weekend I was in luck because I spotted these huge chestnuts at the market which forced me to get some cash out, after I got the chestnuts I darted to Flames Kebab and Fish bar for some chips. Overall, the chips were comforting because there are virtually no chippies in Croydon.

Coffee nice. Staff polite. Breakfast…..I appreciate that some elements may be fried but I had garden breakfast. Tomatoes fried, spinach fried (A first for me), Haloumi fried, mushrooms fried, they were nice but my whole mouth tasted like of oil and I’ve not felt great since. Toast was not fried! Maybe also use smaller plates. Huge plates with not much on them. Man serving had done his best to spread it out. Cost £12 something. VFM. I think not

923B Brighton RoadWent there to get a subway and the person that served us was very pleasant. The food was tasty, but could have been a bit warmer. Overall I had a good experience though

London RoadFriendly customer service / good value for money. Lots of choices, something for all! Will be back again if I'm in the area.
