Hot coffee was fine. Iced matcha was terrible - just like green milk no taste. Toilets absolutely disgusting and one was out of order.

the blueberry matcha is way too sweet unlike the service also matcha in a blender is a crime

Ni siquiera pude darle un bocado ya que era duro como la roca. Tuve que quejarme y dijeron que el acai sale directo del congelador. Si eres fan de acai no recomendaría ovejas negras. El precio es bastante alto para un tazón pequeño que no tiene sabor y sin coberturas. hay mucho mejores lugares para ir para acai.

As I was in Leeds early for a meeting, I thought I'd find somewhere I can sit down for a coffee and also grab a bite to eat. Got there and apparently all ordering is done remotely on one of three posts with touch screen machines. The woman next to me couldnt get hers to help and after myself and the other person ordering helped, we were able to get her order through. I thought this does not bode well for my order then... I started and wanted the coffee and morning sandwich deal. I order the coffee but then I get to the food option and it's blank. So I go back a few times to re-try thinking maybe a glitch etc.. on third attempt I go to the counter to ask a member of staff to be told there are no breakfast sandwiches which is why it's blank. I was told I could order a pastry deal instead; that is not what I wanted. I proceeded to explain that the system should update and show that there are none rather than a blank page... all the staff could say was that they couldn't control the system. So their own staff who sell their products cannot control the system that sells the very products they sell! I left, went to 200 degress which is practically next door, much better service, everyone understands what they are selling and how they sell it! Was my first time coming here and won't be returning... you've lost a customer!

I've been a regular at Black Sheep Coffee Shop, but I've noticed that the quality of the coffee varies depending on the barista. Sometimes it's excellent, but other times it's disappointing. I've also noticed they don't consistently make simple latte art. Another downside is that the coffee isn't always warm enough. Black Sheep needs to ensure consistency and might benefit from hiring more experienced baristas!!

Decent place for a nice coffee and to spend some time here for a study session. Plenty of seating on both floors and always seems to be busy so have to find seats at a good time. Ended up getting the banana coffee shake which was refreshing to have, not too thick and not so watered down so just right. Trying other coffees they seemed of good quality beans with a range of different coffees so already spoilt with choices and some healthy choices. A good selection of food items and the options of meal deals which is always a bonus especially when other places are expensive for what they do. A good atmosphere and work environment with no sense of having to rush at all. Overall a decent place and will be coming back soon. The only negative is the parking issue but I guess that's a given in leeds centre.

The coffee here is of great quality. Dennis was very friendly and helped me sort out an issue with the app. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a place with great coffee, excellent service, and a welcoming vibe!

Not enough staff. No table service active Ordered a meal deal for 2. Waited 15 minutes. Coffees seperate. Each waffle seperate. Couldn’t enjoy them together One person on till working their hardest to do all the orders. Self checkout only. Tills really slow. Poor

On busy Saturday 1 of the people working did anything but, slowing service down hugely, standing around chatting to what I’ll assume were her friends whilst the other 2 worked around her, I felt pretty sorry for them. You’re only as strong as your weakest link and this teams weakest link was reaffirming any negative stereotypes about her generation. Coffee as always very good but service was atrocious.

When we visited used the digital board ordered two Tea's when drinks were given was no milk and would not say that friendly either. Felt was cold but was only 9,30 so may have need time to warm up, the Brew was ok but the Croissant was lovely

I accidentally left my charger at the cafe and came to pick it up the next day, the staff were very helpful to keep my charger safe overnight and a couple hours into the opening of the cafe! Glad to have my charger back :)

Best coffee in the UK but expensive. After visiting at the end of November and getting one transaction failed on the terminal. I noticed that they charged me twice and didn't get any help from customer service, so I needed to dispute the transaction with my bank. Will think twice before going again

The coffee and pastries are great but the staff need to be better and consistent with their service. Customers shouldn’t have to specifically ask for a knife if they get a pastry and please provide at least 2 tissues without asking.

A nice change from the coffee chains and they have a large selection of smoothies, and infusions and waffles which I found unique to Black sheep Good coffee and decent prices

Entró desesperado por orinar e iba a tomar un café una vez que se hiciera la identificación, vino a encontrar a los discapacitados abajo del inodoro cerrado, con uno de esos que requeriría una llave o personal para intervenir. Estaba tan desesperado que no podía sostenerlo - Meado en todas partes gracias al inodoro cerrado. No dije nada. I asked for a ceramic cup but the latte was served in a paper cup I also ordered a winter ginger latte and could not find a ginger biscuit

Good place to take a rest and a cup of coffee. Charging the phone and yourself. One thing to improve is the cleanliness of the toilet.

This was my first time stepping into the Black Sheep Coffee shop in Leeds. Ordering from the kiosk was quick and easy. Plenty of spaces to sit and get absorbed in work whilst enjoying a cuppa. Ordered their autumn selection 'Pumpkin spiced Matcha Latte' and my partner ordered a Caramel Cappuccino. Loved the creamy texture of the Matcha Latte. Enjoyed every sip of it.

Visité Black Sheep Coffee en Leeds el viernes por la tarde. Esperé en el mostrador por ayuda. Fui ignorado por los 3 trabajadores detrás del mostrador durante unos 7 minutos. Entonces entró un grupo y los 3 trabajadores se volvieron hacia ellos y comenzaron a servir al grupo. Mal servicio, nunca volverá a pasar.

Went here yesterday evening, with my friend.. we had an ice macha latte and hot chocolate... Not great but good.. deserves a try.. ambience is good.. like the vibe.. good place for evening hang out with friends.

Although the coffee is good I just don't rate the shop itself that much. The self ordering screens are either slow or don't work, I can never get on the Wi-Fi on any of my devices and have to use Natwest's (sorry Natwest) and it's more personal taste but they always seem to be playing odd music (Copa Cabana at 8 in the morning?!) and the marketing is a bit try hard. Not my favourite. But the coffee IS good and the staff have always been lovely.

The café place is large, spacious, and beautiful. The coffee is special, concentrated, and delicious. It has all kinds, and also the mango and strawberry smoothie is very delicious. There are also types of cakes. The service is fast, the atmosphere is nice, and the prices are reasonable.

I came there to do some work honestly I liked the drink but i didn’t like my sandwich at all the taste was off but overall nice place for doing work!!

The place is so hot and there is no ventilation all the window are designed to be closed and there is ac inside but it always off, you can’t tolerate to stay 2 min inside even if the weather outside cold. The table and chairs are most of the time dirty and you have to clean it by yourself and i have noticed the staff only came few times to clean up and that is in most of brand cafes in UK like costa, nero and starbucks, the staff usually doesn’t care about cleaning the furniture deeply they just take the dishes and spray the table with wipes and all sorted out 😅. Blacksheep also does not have chair for children which strange in UK as almost every cafe provide it. The food and service of the food are excellent and the variety of the menus is satisfying.

I got a strawberry and banana smoothie and sat outside with it, will say the smoothie was nice but expensive for the size. I went downstairs to the toilets and they were really badly kept. An awful smell and just generally unclean like they were really cleaned, it's really not a nice thing to see in a coffee shop that is seemly nice inside.

Popped into this lovely little coffee shop in Leeds staff really nice and friendly especially Zia can’t do enough for you, made me a great cup of decaf coffee and boiling hot.cant ask for more, the carrot cake was a 9 out of 10. Defiantly pop in here when back in Leeds.

Worst meal I've ever had. I've actually stopped eating just to leave this review. I spent £20 which is a lot of money to spend on a freaking bagel and the pathetic food that turned up. I ordered a cream cheese and smoked salmon bagel toasted, a waffle with cream, peanut butter Nutella and strawberries. What I got was a small amount of cooked mushed up salmon in the center of a bagel and about one teaspoons worth of cream cheese. The waffle ingredients all turned up in tiny little tubs and the cream was spilled everywhere. The pineapple iced tea I paid 6 freaking pounds for was nothing more than water with some honey poured in the bottom of the cup and made me gag. Avoid this place at all costs. Uber won't give me my money back and I will be telling everyone what a rip off this awful food was. I paid high prices for substandard food and I am absolutely livid about it. It didn't taste good and the bagel was basically empty and plain which is the thing I'm most angry about. This was at the Leeds briggste store incase anyone cares.

I really like chocolate banana waffle, it is my favorite food in black sheep coffee. I come here everyday/every morning. The staff team I met such as Rifhat, Tanisha, Lara and Tao all leave a very good impression for me. They are friendly, efficient, patient and helpful, really nice staff Team😊

Previously left this review on the wrong branch of Black Sheep Coffee. Whoops. Reposting it here: I have visited Black Sheep twice, now. The first time, I ordered a "Black Hoof" which is a Latte with Coconut Oil and Cinnamon. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a smooth coffee without a hint of bitterness (something that's not always easy to find!). I tried a regular Latte today to see if the coffee is really that good or if the Cinnamon simply masked the bitterness but, once again, it was perfect. They make a very enjoyable coffee and I look forward to returning again soon.

Avoid unless you like sitting in an office environment. Everyone on their laptops, no room for real customers, I don't know how they make enough money to exist as most have finished their drinks ages ago and just sit there tapping away. How about a 15 min time-limit per device.

I know that this is a chain, but I think that this is my first visit to a Blacksheep coffee shop. Not sure what I think about the screen ordering but seemed efficient although we had a very long wait to actually get our drinks. Drinks came in takeaway cups and were impossibly hot-had to take it with us or I would have missed my train. Cakes and pastries did look tasty. We sat in a quiet area to one side-seems to be popular with people on laptops. Plenty of seating available including high stools and seating upstairs. Decor was interesting; should have had a better look at it all. Clean and tidy but not at the top of coffee shops to revisit.

As with other branches I've visited the ordering process is efficient and the coffee pleasantly strong but what let's things down is that 95% of the tables are taken by people with laptops that finished their drinks hours ago so the atmosphere is just weird if you do manage to get a table. Bizarrely they only seem to do takeaway cups even if you're sitting in. On my last visit two chaps just wandered in with food from the shwarma and jackets truck parked nearby, they didn't even buy drinks. While I was there quite a few potential customers walked I and then left due to the lack of seats, they really need to get on top of this. I'll stick to the Briggate one.

Called into your coffee shop used the touch screen to order my drink I was there for about 5mins trying to place my order but to no avail. Got display in screen but not very user friendly. Wile I was there several mins that seemed about 20mins the two lady’s behind the counter didn’t acknowledge me and continued chatting to each other so ended up waking out and going 20yds access the precinct to Starbucks where I got served in about 1min need to sort customer out if struggling specially ppl of a older age may struggle using the slick computer screen.. sat looking over at your store drinking lovely latte with a lovely taste. Probably lost a new customer in me.

this place .. I will not go again. the music is so strong and loud. I feel extremely anxious with the noise and type of music. I asked them to bring it down and they said it is told to us. it is not the barista issue. it is the company mistake which is worse. why interested in this much noise. really horrible culture around noise. horrible.

Staff didn't speak to us, bit of a chilly atmosphere, none of that usual Northern friendliness. Drinks mediocre, hot chocolate tasted like hot milk and arrived lukewarm, and cost us 4 quid. Wouldn't come here again, waste of money, and time.

I'm a brand fan, but must have hit on a bad day at this store. Laggy and confusing self service terminal, disinterested service with lack of engagement about coffee choice, food not served at same time and waffle seemed old or undercooked. A real shame and will try again, but likely not in this branch.

Finally a shop where the waffles have enough nutella to fill your entire mouth, this is how waffles should be. Personally I would have preferred the waffle just a bit crispier, but it definitely did not taste uncooked unlike other places in the city... Coffee was not bad.

Pistachio Latte was burnt and I don't even think they added any pistachio. All I could taste was burnt beans. Threw it in a bin. Not going again

I have been coming to black sheep ever since it opened and it’s a shame that the one on Bond Street standards have dropped. The last few times that I have ordered coffee I am shocked at the way it’s presented.

Worst coffee Shop ever!!! Coffee was very poor. They did give us a free hot chocolate as this had been made by mistake but we didn’t drink it, it tasted like slightly flavoured water. Tune melt had absolutely no cheese in it and the cheese and tomato toastie had no tomato. The toastie was only toasted on one side. We complained to staff but they basically said that’s how the sandwiches come. I’d never visit one of these coffee shops again.

Hot chocolate and iced coffee were both short of their main ingredient and therefore pretty bland and not as good as they should be and quite pricey too
