Bistro on the Quay in Ipswich

The place is amazing and lovely to sit outdoors enjoying being by the river.

Great pub house with plenty of wines to choose from eg cocktails 🍹 all sorts but quite pricey

Lovely people running the bar. Very nice atmosphere and a great selection of wines and spirits! Will definitely visit again when we visit Ipswich. Loved the Belgian Shepherd.

What an amazing place to chill out and have a drink. Julian led me through his list of red wines, and found one specifically for me Food is very good too. We will be back !!

Had a bottle of wine and a cheese board all very nice. Our waiter (Joneld) was great, attentive and polite, even give us a few extra crackers when he noticed we ran out but still had cheese. Great views and atmosphere. Would definitely visit again

Nice friendly place. Good wines (of course) and decent selection of craft beer and real ale in cans and bottles from local breweries. Nice atmosphere.

This place is awesome! The staff are friendly and very professional. The food is really good and the wine selection interesting. We can't compliment this place and the owner enough. It's so nice to have a place where they deliver to the guest ahead of making the staff happy. Both are possible and this place does that!

What a feast! A fantastic evening at the Wine Boutique on the Quay's Ploughman sharing platter night. The food had many tasty twists on British classics, an amazing selection of wine, great hosts (Julien and Slash) and a very fun ambience. The Eton Mess wasn’t as good of other’s I’ve had. The Shepard’s pie was “interesting”. The wine list is good. We had so much wine that the food was just ..,, Anyway, the lamb was good. Nice ambiance. Loved the music selection. 👍🏼💕

Stunning bar and restaurant over looking the marina. Julian running the boutique is incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. Belgium beer was spot on with the meat and cheese nibbles adding to the night. You have to visit, you will not be disappointed

Lovely hidden gem! Guy behind the bar tonight was fantastic!!!!! Couldn’t help enough and knew exactly what he was talking about. Rare to find such great service and a lovely little place to enjoy a stunning drink!

An utterly fantastic service and experience. Owner Julien (owner of Bistro on the Quay & Mariners) has hit another homerun on the marina. Its been way too long since there was a well placed, amply stocked, expertly run wine bar on the Ipswich Waterfront. The Wine Boutique on the Quay offers the ability to buy a good range of quality wine and also drink in from a comprehensive wine card. The seating is well visioned - covid restrictions mean separators are put in place to accommodate parties of differing sizes; but once the situation is over I see it being a wonderful little bolt-hole. As it is situated above the Bistro on the Quay, it’s a great place to move onto after dinner downstairs. Great spot for a social wine and a small selection of local craft beer. Sure to be another hit
