Absolutely love this wee place , food is lovely , they're afternoon two course menu is a great deal . Staff are really friendly and cheery and nothing is too much bother .

Was there on Christmas day service was slow waited 50 minutes for drink order was with 2 vegans main meal was to spicy they could not eat it and was told later there was no dessert after paying for a 3 course meal on Christmas day was very disappointing

Went for a last minute Christmas night as there was entertainment on 8 of us in total we all had a fantastic night staff were amazing and looked after us really well the whole night, and isobel who as providing the entertainment was great she sang a good mixture of songs getting us all in the party mood 🍾🕺👍 special thanks to the young girl that had been serving us all night for running myself and my hubby home as it was really icy and slippy it was very much appreciated 👍

Great value for money when ordering the family meal deals. Got a portion of pasta, a 12" pizza, portion of skin on fries and 4 chicken strips for £21. Definitely recommend the cheesy garlic ciabatta!

I recently dined at Bistecca and had a fantastic experience. To start, I tried the short rib starter, which was incredibly flavorful and tender, setting the tone for a great meal. For my main course, I opted for the panko BBQ chicken, and it did not disappoint. The crispy coating and the barbecue sauce were a delightful combination. My partner ordered the half pizza half pasta dish, and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size, especially considering it was only £10.50. The variety of choices made it a perfect pick for someone craving both pizza and pasta. Overall, Bistecca impressed us with its delicious food, reasonable prices, and generous portions. We'll definitely be returning for another satisfying meal soon.

Was very disappointed as I made a booking for 7pm on the 5/9/23 booking was confirmed just to turn up and the restaurant was closed

Ordered spaghetti bolognese at 10 pounds roughly, and this is what I get. Watery tasteless spaghetti just flung into a tub pretty much 0 meat and sauce. What on earth is this? Coming from a restaurant you would trust it to be excellent, an aldi microwave spaghetti bolognese or a tin of heinz knocks this out of the park. Even asked my husband to try this he took one bite and he spat it out the same as myself, disgusting, went in the bin what a waste of money

Maxine was an excellent hostess. On Maxine's recommendation I had the the half pizza (the bistecca) / half pasta (tuscan sausage). Both were fantastic. Joyce was refusive about the rib eye steak.

Beautiful pasta made by Jamie. Made to the highest specifications dietary needs included. Great service and lovely atmosphere. Ent here for lunch and would definitely go back .reasonable price too.

Came to Bistecca tonight for the 1st time with my hubby and daughter, food was absolutely amazing!!! The restaurant is so welcoming and nothing was a problem for Maxine. Will definitely be back. Fantastic food at an amazing price 💖💖

My first time using this restaurant. I Don't usually leave reviews. First impressions mean alot. Order took 90mins after advising 40mins delivery. Someone answered phone when I called to enquire about delivery time, put it off the hook so when I called back it was engaged. Pizza was fine, burger was dry, chips were a bit burned, pasta was bland, breaded mushrooms were fine. Safe to say, I won't be ordering from them in future.

I called Bistecca and asked if I could have a plain burger and got it ordered on justeat no problem. The lady who answered was so nice and happy to help me. I apologise for forgetting her name, but I'm still a little drunk from last night. I got a brilliant beef burger and chips plus 2 pints of cider 😋 I'll definitely order again soon.

Food was great..service is really good.. but no atmosphere at all..really needs updated. Very cold..Ist restaurant I've ate in with my coat on.

Ordered via Just Eat from here tonight and have to say I’m very impressed! Was quoted over an hour time and food arrived in less than 20 minutes! Hot food and great quality food for an amazing price. Will definitely order from again!

It was the first time I took my friend out who was shielding for a treat.We felt very unsafe as no staff were wearing masks.2 had masks under their chin the rest had no masks at all.Too many people going in and out the kitchen with no masks on.We had a starter and a drink hoping the next time we were approached at the table the waitress would be wearing her mask.As she wasnt we decided to leave and not get the nxt course.The manager said they only had to wear them at the table which they didnt.We were very disappointed.We cancelled our main and paid for our drink.and starter.Hasten to add when they gave us the bill all of a sudden a mask was worn.

In summary, this was the worst takeaway I've had in 50 years! When I entered the restaurant my first impressions was that the place was not very clean but I ordered the Tagliatelle Gamberoni and Sweet chilli chicken and mozzarella burger. When I opened the Gamberoni there was a pool of water and oil at the bottom of the container, this indicated that even the basic thing of draining pasta properly was not done, the Gamberoni was completely tasteless, either it had not been seasoned which is a cardinal sin for a chef or the water/oil had washed all the seasoning away. After one mouthful I binned the lot, absolutely disgusting, the chef should hang their head in same at sending this out the kitchen. While I was waiting one of the cooks came out, he looked as much Italian as a haggis supper. Also the Sweet chilli chicken and mozzarella burger was also tasteless and the chicken tasted like a cheap supermarket frozen chicken needless to say after tasting this it also ended up in the bin. I shall never return to this restaurant, it was so bad I wouldn't even want a free meal from here complete waste of money.

We ordered from Just Eat and this place has good Italian food. I had penne Pollo genovese and my husband had a bacon burger. Toffee cheesecake and apple pie with caramel, toffee sauce and ice cream was awesome. We also ordered bruschetta but it was burnt on the bottom so only 4 stars but we will order again. Thanks! 😁

Got pizza pasta deal pizza was superb but the lasagna let it down was really watery. And not that tasty all in all be back for a pizza.

Worst Italian I’ve ever had. Food arrived cold, dry pasta was disgusting ordered the pizza, pasta and drink deal, no drink arrived nothing was edible

Fantastic find in these troubled times. Second visit in a matter of days. Beautiful food & plentiful, with really reasonable costs considering the pressures they must be under. Whats even better, the staff are extremely welcoming, warm, friendly & respectful. Leave you to just enjoy your meal whilst always present when required. Not like the bigger chains who look at everyone with disdain. Try this lovely restaurant, you wont be disappointed.

2 courses for £10 12-9pm most days we had chicken strips with BBQ sauce nice but chicken a bit over cooked batter was too crunchy and haggis bon bons with whisky sauce. Mains we had braised steak with mash n pepper corn sauce (mum wasn't keen but I enjoyed it) I had chicken with parpadelle (again chicken a bit over done) what always puts us off restaurant's is the price of a can £2.30 is shocking.

This restaurant has just opened and looking good staff are friendly and the food was really good , I am sure there is plenty more to come from them when they are fully established
