Amazing food, the service was slightly lacking, but overall, great.

I recently enjoyed a lovely meal here, and the gluten-free options were a real highlight for me! The GF Bills Brunch was absolutely wonderful, and I loved the taste and presentation. However, there was a mix-up with the eggs royale; we didn't order fries, so we overpaid a little (didn't want to cause a fuss as they were busy). Also, my cup was dirty, which was a little concerning as there was food dried onto the inside of the cup, presumably from the dishwasher. The concern here is about whether gluten is present in the food dried onto the cup. Despite those hiccups, the atmosphere was great, and the service was friendly and welcoming!

Worst service ever they just threw us in the corner in the kids room and in the hour and 30 minutes we were there only came over twice. How is it bottomless pancakes if you are only allowed two.

Came here for a breakfast after my wife's 40th in Leeds. Came across Bills while doing a Google search. Was really impressed with both the atmosphere and service, really good décor and service was great. The food was also amazing. Would return when we are in Leeds next time 💯%

I could not enjoy dinner because all the dishes had onion/garlic or fried food but my colleagues were very happy with food and I liked the location and the personell.

We were in Leeds for holidays and unfortunately we didn't manage to dine in but I wanted to try their food. So, on the day we were leaving I popped in and asked if they can make us 2 fish pies for takeaway. The guy he explained me that they are ok to do it but I had to keep in mind that is not going to be very presentable because it will be in a takeaway away box. The result? It was totally fine of the aspect of presentation and one of the best fish pies we ever had in Scotland and in England. At the time I spent there I saw some of their dishes and they looked and smelled amazing.

Not a fan of the current Bill’s menu. We had chorizo, flatbreads for starters and an aubergine and Burrata main - all very oily and not much taste. Burger was fine, halloumi fries were underwhelming, chicken schwarma was disappointing. Desserts were very processed tasting. Service was great and nicely attentive without being full on. The atmosphere was ok - it’s a bit dark and we were squashed in the middle and were pleased we were finishing up as a party of 18 arrived and were seated in the same area.

Delightful evening at Bill's tonight. Thanks to the lovely Emna and team. Great food ...recommended. (try the chicken in dumplings as a starter)

Decent food but quite a wait…..

The food was pretty average. The servers were nice. The food took 70min to come to us though. So, if you're in a hurry, do not visit it.

This should have been a 5 star review but some things were missed in our service due to the place over flowing (though they gave us a good discount on our bill). The food and staff were amazing, they have a QR code at the bottom of the menu from which of you add your allergens you can whittle down the menu to things you can eat. The food was very good and service good, although unfortunately our steaks were a bit dry (I think they might have let it rest for a bit long), they said they could replace with sweet potato fries, which they could not and brought the wrong dessert. They removed many of the items from our bill due to this and the food was very tasty. I would definitely give the place a 5 star, but unfortunately I believe the day we went there were unfortunate circumstances, and I can only review based on that.

Visited here with a group of 12 on a weekday so it was a bit quiet as expected. Service was excellent, a good choice of beers and other drinks. The food I ordered was chicken two ways dish which was nice. The starter was prawn cocktail but not like I usually have had it, it was nice nonetheless.

This visit was to the main floor. Last time I was here, I ate Upstairs. My wife enjoyed her Breakfast Pot of tea, & had the Avacado Sour Dough sandwich. Prompt and courteous service. I had not used the loo, on my previous visit, but I was impressed with the private room aspect. Very clean.

We went for the Bottomless pancakes and they were amazing! Highly recommended for a comfy cozy brunch or lunch with friends or family.

Honest review. Cauliflower bites nice but may be better with the sauce on the side, rather than it served on them as it drowned them a bit. Burrata starter thoroughly enjoyed. Mains were Chicken Duo and it was spot on. Duck curry was very tasty but when I asked if it was definitely duck, I was told that's how it normally looks. However, the meat was white (duck is usually darker coloured) and it didn't taste as strong as duck normally does. Good selection of wines by the glass. Service was very attentive and excellent throughout.

5 pound bottomless pancakes is such a deal, even though we only made it through two plates, if we ordered one plate somewhere else it probably would’ve been 8 quid for one!! nom

Brilliant meal in Bills (Leeds) this weekend. Lovely food and the staff there were brilliant. I had an issue with my bank card and the manager really helped me sort out the issue. Really made sure my evening wasn’t a disaster! Will definitely be back again.

Been before, lovely food. Decided to go again before a show with plenty of time. We arrived and saw a queue, waited but after about 20 minutes, we left as we couldn't miss our show. We were very excited to return but couldn't

I gave the food three stars because I like my food very hot, and it was only warm. The Korean fries were soggy and not worth the money. The chicken burger was lovely.

Our waiter Indica was very friendly and chill she was amazing!! The food was reasonably portioned and very tasty. Great atmosphere, very aesthetic.

Welcome and service really friendly- laid back cos it was early lunch time. We ordered halloumi burger and chicken shawarma- they were both very tasty and the fries lovely-the only thing was it wasn’t very warm. The decor was shabby chic but a bit too shabby - they were both panelling showed marks of oil . We finiswith a glass of house white wine and I had an americano. Will visit again cos food was tasty and not too expensive for Leeds.

Went for brunch after hearing good things - disappointed to find undercooked and bland food. Very much a corporate chain with no real charm of flair. Incredibly overpriced for £40 for two breakfasts and two drinks.

Fab food, excellent service, all round a great evening! I’ve been a few times - brunch with friends / a meal while shopping - this time we had a family meal, and were impressed with the offer for kids. Our waiter was particularly thoughtful. Really made all the difference!

We had a good meal here on a busy Saturday. We managed to get in for a table of four after the afternoon rush. We waited a little while for drinks to arrive, but the food came pretty quickly after that. We had a good mix of dishes between us from the crispy duck salad, pancakes, steak and eggs and a chicken burger. We all really enjoyed our food and thought the price was pretty reasonable too.

Beautiful building and decor, fab servers and fantastic breakfasts. I had the garden plate - every mouthful was delicious, Mick had the big brunch which was equally scrumptious. Our first visit but we’ll definitely return to a Bills if there’s one nearby.

Went here for my husband birthday last week nice place food was nice we had the chicken was placed on mash maybe could do with more veg Wasn’t hot was ok to eat though service was ok but a bit slow I had Eton pineapple dessert very nice my husband had sticky toffee he said very nice but for the money it was a bit small, this is just our thoughts .

Shared Bill's salad with a lovely mustardy dressing. My main of chicken "two ways" was very good and there was plenty of it. Our other main of aubergine parmigiana was also good but there was less of it although there were some fried potatoes with it. Enjoyable meal, good lunchtime atmosphere and will go again.

Really nice food at a reasonably good price, also good service on the whole. The table felt a little cramped for 2, and the atmosphere could have been better, but on the whole, it's very good and I will certainly come back here again.

The staff were nice,friendly and polite. The atmosphere was good and the place looked the part The food however totally let it down. I did mention it to the staff and they were keen to replace it and didn't charge for the burger. Everyone else at my table had stuff they found disappointing. My burger patty was tasty but not hot My son had a Buttermilk chicken burger and he didn't eat it (he's normally eats anything)

Nice food, but it seems so much is fried. We Sat at the back and the tables are a bit on top of each other particularly the tables of two. We Sat and were given menus but not asked about drinks which should be the first thing asked about. The food was tasty but we’d have stayed for longer if the service had been better from the off.

Popped in for brunch today, it wasn’t too busy it has a lovely atmosphere the staff are friendly and the food was freshly cooked to order and lovely. Definitely planning going again

The staff were great, very helpful & friendly. The menu was a little limited for my taste but most people will probably find lots that they like. It was rather noisy so my Mum who wears hearing aids struggled a bit to hear us.

Was with a party of 7 on Saturday afternoon/evening. Staff were lovely and attentive (but not overly so), and service was very reasonable considering how busy it was. My crispy duck salad was gorgeous. What really got the place 5 stars though is that towards the end of our meal a couple came to the next table with the most gorgeous dog! Anywhere with dogs gets 5 stars. Honestly though, the food was gorgeous.

Food excellent, service excellent, atmosphere wasn't conducive to having a quiet lunch as a baby was screaming most of the time and the mother did nothing to quell the noise.

Service was good. Food was tasty, drinks were OK, didnt have our first choice of spirits.

Went in to get a dinner and the food and service was wonderful . had a lovely interactions with our server called Paulina.

The food and the atmosphere was brilliant but what especially stood out for me was the service. Our waitress was so beautifully mannered and was so helpful that I picked up her name just for this review. Thank you Paulina, absolute angel. Amazing restaurant, would recommend!

Im lost for words!! My server, Paulina was indredible...joked around with my children, laughed at my jokes and she even stayed at my table for a long long time while i ask her the best menu items and see if they could be adjusted to my allergies. She was kind, genuine and seemed like she really loves her job. what a wonderful experience!

Wow! All I can say. The service here was absolutely lovely. My server Paulina was incredibly friendly and helpful with helping me choose the perfect dish the bourbon burger which was delicious! I would definitely come here again the food was great and I recommend to anyone considering on coming here. Thank you Paulina for making dinner so great tonight.

Terrible experience! False nail found inside my meal! From the time of arrival, the service was very poor to say the least. As soon as we arrived, after confirming the details of our reservation, we were told that we had a certain time limit, which I can appreciate, but for that to be the first thing we were told, was rather dismissive and quite rude I feel. We are all seated at the table (there were 8 of us altogether) it was around 10 minutes in at this point, and my mother was parched, as was I, we had travelled from another city so it was a bit of a car journey to get there, no one brought us any water, so I had to get up and grab the two water jugs myself which is not ideal in the slightest. Eventually the server arrives to take our drink order, it didn’t seem like she had much knowledge of the menu which is rather poor, she wasn’t the friendliest of servers either, my sister and brother in law asked her about what kids drinks they offer, to which she replied, we don’t do coke for kids obviously, the kids drinks will be on the menu, my brother in law nor sister mentioned coke for the kids, so not sure why she said that, we found it very rude and demeaning, at this point she went silent, so my brother in law prompted her and said do you offer juices for kids, to which she responded yes, so we ordered them juices. About 15 minutes later, our drinks finally arrived, and we noticed that the kids never got their juices, very poor on their side. However, I will give praise where praise is due, one of the servers did go and find out whether their red wines were vegan friendly which I greatly appreciated. The food arrived promptly, and we all began eating, the first thing my family mentioned was how the mac n cheese tasted sweet, we specifically ordered this for the kids as they’re picky eaters and surprise surprise, they didn’t want it as they felt that it tasted weird, so they picked at the chips which were probably the most decent bit of food we received. As I was eating my vegan schwarma, I bit onto something hard, to my absolute horror, it was a white coloured false nail! False nails should not and cannot be worn when handling food, so what does this say about the restaurants food safety and hygiene standards, to me this portrays that this establishment do not take food safety and hygiene standards seriously, and they should be investigated immediately by environmental health. I was absolutely disgusted and extremely put off my meal, and so were the rest of my family, no one had any interest in finishing their meals, so we all left our meals and desserts, and finished our drinks. I reported this to a member of staff immediately, and shortly after a manager approached me and mentioned something about a new supplier, which I believe was bollocks, excuse my language! All in all this was a very shoddy experience, from the poor service, to the food itself. It’s not often that me and my family can all make one date to get together, due to work and life commitments, so I’m sure you can imagine the sheer disappointment we all felt. Bills is not the cheapest of restaurants, and this negative experience has certainly taught me that it is simply not worth the money, nor the time. Me nor my family will ever be returning back to this poorly run establishment.

Arrived on Saturday evening to be told that the kitchen closed in 30 minutes and we wouldn't be able to order staters. What a welcome!

I made a group booking for about 24 of us. We were the only ones in a private area upstairs which was ideal. We were well looked after, with allergies taken care of, no mixed up orders and no long waits for food. We had preordered as they asked us. Food was good enough and a bit eccentric, but was mainly an excuse for getting together. Thank you for taking good care of us.

Excellent place. Never been here before. Had the burger, juicy and tasty. Finished with Blue light discount, a bonus. The only reason, I did give 5 was could have done with a few more options on menu

The unlimited pancakes (american style) were absolutely amazing. Light and fluffy, not too sweet but they do pour the syrup on for you. It’s only available from 3-6 I believe so remember to book ahead of time before you go.

My partner ordered 'fresh' orange juice from the menu, confirmed it the server if it is actually freshly squeezed and she said yes. Drum rolls the juice was not fresh at all and tasted like packaged juice so my partner politely asked the server to take it back and ordered tea instead. The same server brought the tea over and slammed it on the table, after that the rest of the time we were there, she talked to her colleagues, staring us down periodically (could tell cause we were sat right by the till). Very unpleasant experience on a Saturday morning.

Great food bit cramped for space

CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY! Stopped by for Breakfast, Bills Big Brunch,(only English brekkie option on Saturday, unless you want eggs or pancakes) It was ok, but the food was just warm, the eggs were solid, food obviously been sat on a warming plate. Asked for the bill, already had a good idea of cost, around £34, bill confirmed this to within a few pence. Waitress came and asked if I wanted to pay by card, asked a few questions 'what's your plans' etc, then proceeded to pass the machine to me - contactless facing me to pay, as you would expect. When she pulled off the receipt she had included the optional 12.5% service charge - without asking!! (Yes I should have checked the machine, but trusted staff) Our breakfast for two became almost £40, didn't pay that much for our evening meal elsewhere. REMEBER - the tip is optional!

Today my daughter had a university opening day. She was very nervous, and our lovely waitress Stacey put her at ease about some of her university worries. Really good service, we will be coming back.
