We had brunch here. There were too many meals with eggs included I feel even the non brunch items however it was not an issue to substitute the eggs for something else.

Great experience here today whilst all slightly hungover. Four meals with coffees and juice student discount for £71 - you can hardly complain and was hot, delicious and flavoursome. Service was top class - started raining as food came and within a minute we were reseated inside. Rarely see that happen and understand sometimes it isn’t possible so very much appreciated. Had to tip £20 for service - top quality.

Always a great breakfast here. We choose here over all others.

I visited Bill’s in Leeds recently with a friend and our two young daughters (both under 2 years old). While the experience wasn’t terrible, it fell short of expectations. I used to work there and I know it gets hectic during busy times but there is definitely room for improvement. We ordered the kids’ meals ahead of ours, hoping they would arrive first so the little ones wouldn’t have to wait. We chose fish fingers with peas and mash, and buttered chicken with fries and beans. Unfortunately, our starters arrived before the children’s meals, which isn’t ideal when you’re dining with toddlers who can’t exactly wait patiently. When the kids’ food did eventually come out, both plates had fries ,no mash. We had to ask for the mash separately. The meals were also served on boiling hot plates, which is a real safety concern for young children. Later on, I was served the vegan duck curry instead of the regular one I ordered. While they did take it back and correct the mistake, it meant my friend was eating while I sat waiting. At the same time, an extra portion of fries was dropped off at our table unrequested. We didn’t realize at first, and by the time we did, they’d cooled down and weren’t worth sending back, so we nibbled on them. When the bill arrived, they tried to charge us for the extra portion on top of all the earlier mistakes. All in all, the food was decent and the atmosphere pleasant, but the service left us feeling disappointed: multiple errors, and the lack of genuine apologies. Hopefully, we will have a better experience next time! For families, especially those dining with young children timing and safety really matter.

Came as a party of around 9. Great, well portioned food and lovely service from the staff, especially our server Lucy who was very welcoming and attentive. A real gem 💎

Amazing service- really fast turnaround from whne you order food and when it arrives with constant check-ups to make sure you are satisfied. Solid brunch spot and the all you can eat pancakes are something to get especially on friday as it is an amazing price!

Visited for a meal before going to a concert and this was one of the best meals out we have had for a long time. Good choice on the daytime menu and the food was delicious Will be back

Bill's are usually great, relaxed places to eat, and the Leeds venue is no different. A great welcome as we arrived, and 2 of our party running late wasn't a problem. Brunch menu was on and while a more limited choice than the wider all day, the food was great and everyone happy.

The packet that I ordered was to salty and hard 🧐🧐🧐. I didn’t enjoyed it at all. I went for the berry’s one but the fruit was a bit sour and the syrup was too strong.

Making a table reservation was easy and went smoothly.

Hmm. We both had the set two course lunch for £17. Starter - butternut squash hummus - was ok, but not very flavourful. The 'warm' smoked mackerel was straight out of the fridge. I would have complained sooner if anyone had checked if everything was okay, but no-one did. My friends 'cheesecake pot' was "gluey." Wine was nice but pricey. Staff were very pleasant and friendly, but not very attentive. Had to request water several times and had to ask for our empty plates to be cleared after a good half hour. Rather annoyed to find a 12.5% 'optional' service charge already added to the bill, so we would have had to ask the server to remove it. Thought it was unfair to be put in that position. So, good atmosphere, friendly staff, but food and service were mediocre at best, and certainly not worth what they're charging.

Great for both gluten-free and non-gluten-free eaters.My coeliac husband was well looked after, and everything we had was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

Good food, decent Bloody Mary. The place was nicely decorated, but it felt a bit crowded, even though not all tables were taken. The staff were nice and helpful.

We attended for the first time for my sons 16th birthday. Food wasn’t great. Our server wasn’t the best, not very approachable and didn’t ask us if the food was ok, despite one whole meal being left. The best thing we ordered was the pomegranate and raspberry lemonade. 12.5% charge added on the bill for tips, but the only way to not pay this is to ask not to pay it. Wouldn’t go back again. Thought it would be something special especially celebrating a big birthday but it wasn’t even acknowledged despite putting this on the booking form! Huge disappointment

Popped in after an invitation to join family for breakfast. Food was good and well presented by attentive staff in a enjoyable environment.

Good beer. Good food. Had bbq kentucky bourbon burger. Messy but gorgeous. Bit annoyed at service charge automatically added as seems to be the norm in lots of places.

Nice breakfast. My wife’s breakfast was quite greasy which she didn’t like. The WiFi 🛜 is terrible at 1mbs down and 0.01mbs up. My eggs benedict was nice.

I recently enjoyed a lovely meal here, and the gluten-free options were a real highlight for me! The GF Bills Brunch was absolutely wonderful, and I loved the taste and presentation. However, there was a mix-up with the eggs royale; we didn't order fries, so we overpaid a little (didn't want to cause a fuss as they were busy). Also, my cup was dirty, which was a little concerning as there was food dried onto the inside of the cup, presumably from the dishwasher. The concern here is about whether gluten is present in the food dried onto the cup. Despite those hiccups, the atmosphere was great, and the service was friendly and welcoming!

Worst service ever they just threw us in the corner in the kids room and in the hour and 30 minutes we were there only came over twice. How is it bottomless pancakes if you are only allowed two.

Loved the place , was recommended.mended by friends so we gave it a try for breakfast, one of thr only places that opens early on a weekend for breakfast, great choices , super service overall 5☆ and would return highly recommended

Came here for a breakfast after my wife's 40th in Leeds. Came across Bills while doing a Google search. Was really impressed with both the atmosphere and service, really good décor and service was great. The food was also amazing. Would return when we are in Leeds next time 💯%

I could not enjoy dinner because all the dishes had onion/garlic or fried food but my colleagues were very happy with food and I liked the location and the personell.

Not a fan of the current Bill’s menu. We had chorizo, flatbreads for starters and an aubergine and Burrata main - all very oily and not much taste. Burger was fine, halloumi fries were underwhelming, chicken schwarma was disappointing. Desserts were very processed tasting. Service was great and nicely attentive without being full on. The atmosphere was ok - it’s a bit dark and we were squashed in the middle and were pleased we were finishing up as a party of 18 arrived and were seated in the same area.

We were in Leeds for holidays and unfortunately we didn't manage to dine in but I wanted to try their food. So, on the day we were leaving I popped in and asked if they can make us 2 fish pies for takeaway. The guy he explained me that they are ok to do it but I had to keep in mind that is not going to be very presentable because it will be in a takeaway away box. The result? It was totally fine of the aspect of presentation and one of the best fish pies we ever had in Scotland and in England. At the time I spent there I saw some of their dishes and they looked and smelled amazing.

Decent food but quite a wait…..

The food was pretty average. The servers were nice. The food took 70min to come to us though. So, if you're in a hurry, do not visit it.

This should have been a 5 star review but some things were missed in our service due to the place over flowing (though they gave us a good discount on our bill). The food and staff were amazing, they have a QR code at the bottom of the menu from which of you add your allergens you can whittle down the menu to things you can eat. The food was very good and service good, although unfortunately our steaks were a bit dry (I think they might have let it rest for a bit long), they said they could replace with sweet potato fries, which they could not and brought the wrong dessert. They removed many of the items from our bill due to this and the food was very tasty. I would definitely give the place a 5 star, but unfortunately I believe the day we went there were unfortunate circumstances, and I can only review based on that.

Visited here with a group of 12 on a weekday so it was a bit quiet as expected. Service was excellent, a good choice of beers and other drinks. The food I ordered was chicken two ways dish which was nice. The starter was prawn cocktail but not like I usually have had it, it was nice nonetheless.

This visit was to the main floor. Last time I was here, I ate Upstairs. My wife enjoyed her Breakfast Pot of tea, & had the Avacado Sour Dough sandwich. Prompt and courteous service. I had not used the loo, on my previous visit, but I was impressed with the private room aspect. Very clean.

We went for the Bottomless pancakes and they were amazing! Highly recommended for a comfy cozy brunch or lunch with friends or family.

Honest review. Cauliflower bites nice but may be better with the sauce on the side, rather than it served on them as it drowned them a bit. Burrata starter thoroughly enjoyed. Mains were Chicken Duo and it was spot on. Duck curry was very tasty but when I asked if it was definitely duck, I was told that's how it normally looks. However, the meat was white (duck is usually darker coloured) and it didn't taste as strong as duck normally does. Good selection of wines by the glass. Service was very attentive and excellent throughout.

5 pound bottomless pancakes is such a deal, even though we only made it through two plates, if we ordered one plate somewhere else it probably would’ve been 8 quid for one!! nom

Brilliant meal in Bills (Leeds) this weekend. Lovely food and the staff there were brilliant. I had an issue with my bank card and the manager really helped me sort out the issue. Really made sure my evening wasn’t a disaster! Will definitely be back again.

I gave the food three stars because I like my food very hot, and it was only warm. The Korean fries were soggy and not worth the money. The chicken burger was lovely.

Our waiter Indica was very friendly and chill she was amazing!! The food was reasonably portioned and very tasty. Great atmosphere, very aesthetic.

Welcome and service really friendly- laid back cos it was early lunch time. We ordered halloumi burger and chicken shawarma- they were both very tasty and the fries lovely-the only thing was it wasn’t very warm. The decor was shabby chic but a bit too shabby - they were both panelling showed marks of oil . We finiswith a glass of house white wine and I had an americano. Will visit again cos food was tasty and not too expensive for Leeds.

Went for brunch after hearing good things - disappointed to find undercooked and bland food. Very much a corporate chain with no real charm of flair. Incredibly overpriced for £40 for two breakfasts and two drinks.

Fab food, excellent service, all round a great evening! I’ve been a few times - brunch with friends / a meal while shopping - this time we had a family meal, and were impressed with the offer for kids. Our waiter was particularly thoughtful. Really made all the difference!

Had a lunch with work colleagues. Good atmosphere, service and menu choice.

We had a good meal here on a busy Saturday. We managed to get in for a table of four after the afternoon rush. We waited a little while for drinks to arrive, but the food came pretty quickly after that. We had a good mix of dishes between us from the crispy duck salad, pancakes, steak and eggs and a chicken burger. We all really enjoyed our food and thought the price was pretty reasonable too.

Beautiful building and decor, fab servers and fantastic breakfasts. I had the garden plate - every mouthful was delicious, Mick had the big brunch which was equally scrumptious. Our first visit but we’ll definitely return to a Bills if there’s one nearby.

Went here for my husband birthday last week nice place food was nice we had the chicken was placed on mash maybe could do with more veg Wasn’t hot was ok to eat though service was ok but a bit slow I had Eton pineapple dessert very nice my husband had sticky toffee he said very nice but for the money it was a bit small, this is just our thoughts .

Shared Bill's salad with a lovely mustardy dressing. My main of chicken "two ways" was very good and there was plenty of it. Our other main of aubergine parmigiana was also good but there was less of it although there were some fried potatoes with it. Enjoyable meal, good lunchtime atmosphere and will go again.

Really nice food at a reasonably good price, also good service on the whole. The table felt a little cramped for 2, and the atmosphere could have been better, but on the whole, it's very good and I will certainly come back here again.

The staff were nice,friendly and polite. The atmosphere was good and the place looked the part The food however totally let it down. I did mention it to the staff and they were keen to replace it and didn't charge for the burger. Everyone else at my table had stuff they found disappointing. My burger patty was tasty but not hot My son had a Buttermilk chicken burger and he didn't eat it (he's normally eats anything)

Nice food, but it seems so much is fried. We Sat at the back and the tables are a bit on top of each other particularly the tables of two. We Sat and were given menus but not asked about drinks which should be the first thing asked about. The food was tasty but we’d have stayed for longer if the service had been better from the off.

Popped in for brunch today, it wasn’t too busy it has a lovely atmosphere the staff are friendly and the food was freshly cooked to order and lovely. Definitely planning going again

The staff were great, very helpful & friendly. The menu was a little limited for my taste but most people will probably find lots that they like. It was rather noisy so my Mum who wears hearing aids struggled a bit to hear us.

Was with a party of 7 on Saturday afternoon/evening. Staff were lovely and attentive (but not overly so), and service was very reasonable considering how busy it was. My crispy duck salad was gorgeous. What really got the place 5 stars though is that towards the end of our meal a couple came to the next table with the most gorgeous dog! Anywhere with dogs gets 5 stars. Honestly though, the food was gorgeous.

Im lost for words!! My server, Paulina was indredible...joked around with my children, laughed at my jokes and she even stayed at my table for a long long time while i ask her the best menu items and see if they could be adjusted to my allergies. She was kind, genuine and seemed like she really loves her job. what a wonderful experience!
