Terrible experience! False nail found inside my meal! From the time of arrival, the service was very poor to say the least. As soon as we arrived, after confirming the details of our reservation, we were told that we had a certain time limit, which I can appreciate, but for that to be the first thing we were told, was rather dismissive and quite rude I feel. We are all seated at the table (there were 8 of us altogether) it was around 10 minutes in at this point, and my mother was parched, as was I, we had travelled from another city so it was a bit of a car journey to get there, no one brought us any water, so I had to get up and grab the two water jugs myself which is not ideal in the slightest. Eventually the server arrives to take our drink order, it didn’t seem like she had much knowledge of the menu which is rather poor, she wasn’t the friendliest of servers either, my sister and brother in law asked her about what kids drinks they offer, to which she replied, we don’t do coke for kids obviously, the kids drinks will be on the menu, my brother in law nor sister mentioned coke for the kids, so not sure why she said that, we found it very rude and demeaning, at this point she went silent, so my brother in law prompted her and said do you offer juices for kids, to which she responded yes, so we ordered them juices. About 15 minutes later, our drinks finally arrived, and we noticed that the kids never got their juices, very poor on their side. However, I will give praise where praise is due, one of the servers did go and find out whether their red wines were vegan friendly which I greatly appreciated. The food arrived promptly, and we all began eating, the first thing my family mentioned was how the mac n cheese tasted sweet, we specifically ordered this for the kids as they’re picky eaters and surprise surprise, they didn’t want it as they felt that it tasted weird, so they picked at the chips which were probably the most decent bit of food we received. As I was eating my vegan schwarma, I bit onto something hard, to my absolute horror, it was a white coloured false nail! False nails should not and cannot be worn when handling food, so what does this say about the restaurants food safety and hygiene standards, to me this portrays that this establishment do not take food safety and hygiene standards seriously, and they should be investigated immediately by environmental health. I was absolutely disgusted and extremely put off my meal, and so were the rest of my family, no one had any interest in finishing their meals, so we all left our meals and desserts, and finished our drinks. I reported this to a member of staff immediately, and shortly after a manager approached me and mentioned something about a new supplier, which I believe was bollocks, excuse my language! All in all this was a very shoddy experience, from the poor service, to the food itself. It’s not often that me and my family can all make one date to get together, due to work and life commitments, so I’m sure you can imagine the sheer disappointment we all felt. Bills is not the cheapest of restaurants, and this negative experience has certainly taught me that it is simply not worth the money, nor the time. Me nor my family will ever be returning back to this poorly run establishment.

Arrived on Saturday evening to be told that the kitchen closed in 30 minutes and we wouldn't be able to order staters. What a welcome!

I made a group booking for about 24 of us. We were the only ones in a private area upstairs which was ideal. We were well looked after, with allergies taken care of, no mixed up orders and no long waits for food. We had preordered as they asked us. Food was good enough and a bit eccentric, but was mainly an excuse for getting together. Thank you for taking good care of us.

Excellent place. Never been here before. Had the burger, juicy and tasty. Finished with Blue light discount, a bonus. The only reason, I did give 5 was could have done with a few more options on menu

The unlimited pancakes (american style) were absolutely amazing. Light and fluffy, not too sweet but they do pour the syrup on for you. It’s only available from 3-6 I believe so remember to book ahead of time before you go.

Atmosphere and decor was lovely and the food was delicious!! Waiting staff were very friendly and attentive!

My partner ordered 'fresh' orange juice from the menu, confirmed it the server if it is actually freshly squeezed and she said yes. Drum rolls the juice was not fresh at all and tasted like packaged juice so my partner politely asked the server to take it back and ordered tea instead. The same server brought the tea over and slammed it on the table, after that the rest of the time we were there, she talked to her colleagues, staring us down periodically (could tell cause we were sat right by the till). Very unpleasant experience on a Saturday morning.

Lovely food, great atmosphere & excellent service from George! Would recommend for lunch or evening meal. Good value!

CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY! Stopped by for Breakfast, Bills Big Brunch,(only English brekkie option on Saturday, unless you want eggs or pancakes) It was ok, but the food was just warm, the eggs were solid, food obviously been sat on a warming plate. Asked for the bill, already had a good idea of cost, around £34, bill confirmed this to within a few pence. Waitress came and asked if I wanted to pay by card, asked a few questions 'what's your plans' etc, then proceeded to pass the machine to me - contactless facing me to pay, as you would expect. When she pulled off the receipt she had included the optional 12.5% service charge - without asking!! (Yes I should have checked the machine, but trusted staff) Our breakfast for two became almost £40, didn't pay that much for our evening meal elsewhere. REMEBER - the tip is optional!

Today my daughter had a university opening day. She was very nervous, and our lovely waitress Stacey put her at ease about some of her university worries. Really good service, we will be coming back.

Booked in for brunch on a Saturday. Had a lovely meal with really quick service but quickly realised they were just trying to get us out asap. Felt very rushed and was actually asked to leave after only half an hour of sitting down. Nice food but not a nice experience.

All three of us went for the hippy bowl. So good. Service good. Brought us extra things when asked.

Visiting from Copenhagen i found myself at Bills, as i read good about their pancakes. I ordered 3 stacks of panecakes with fresh fruits. Unfortunately they where dry and had no flavour or gooeyness to them. Therefore i hoped for the sirup to do the job, but got even more dissapointed, when i looked between the 3 stack to find no sirup only on top and a bit at the plate. I had to ask for more sirup at the side. Coffee was great and staff very nice, wellcoming and service minded. I honestly think i tired the pancakes at the wrong day, maybe they where out of the right ingredients. I ended up eating only one.

Highly recommend, the food is amazing and the restaurant is clean and tidy and very comfortable. Our waitress, Katey is very attentive and kind and friendly. Thank you.

We came here for brunch on a friday and was positively surprised by the experience. We experience lovely service by Indica and the food was superb as well. Best burger I’ve had in a while👌

While the breakfast was nothing special, the fact that 12.5% service charge is applied for two people, left a sour taste in my mouth. I can understand for groups but not for a table of two. I find it hard to recommend this place with such a policy.

Come quite often, even though I get the same 3 dishes over and over, the food is so great. Service is quick and friendly and it’s just my go to restaurant in Leeds for quality food at a decent price.

We had an excellent meal, and our server, Lottie was a lovely gentle person, a real pleasure to have her bringing our food.

Great relaxed experience with a group of 8 diners. The fixed menu was good value which consisted of freshly cooked food that came out together and was hot delicious and delightful. A great night out.

Well situated Restaurant, but then when comes to food, and what You pay for, doesn't reflect the price, on top of it, their payment method and archaic payment machines put You in position to #fight back for Your money, because at the end of vist at restaurant, You might be paying 2x or 3x value of the meal... I would stop and think twice before I go for this kind of experience.

We visited Bill's Leeds for a lovely brunch as you should do on your day off :) and as always it was amazing!! Food is always great but this time we had the pleasure to meet our lovely waitress Karla. She made sure we felt welcomed and looked after the entire meal. She answered all our questions, pleased our requests and made sure that I got my second Aperol with the offer that they have on. We will definitely be back because we love Bill's and we hope Karla is our waitress again in the future :)

Wow, my wife and I had a wonderful visit and we were overwhelmed by Amelie who had a welcoming Northern accent and couldn’t do enough to help us throughout our experience at the venue. We highly recommend our friends and followers attend and enjoy our experiences there🎉👍🏻

I recently had a wonderful dining experience at Bill's Restaurant, thanks to the exceptional service from our waitress, Amelie. The cozy atmosphere was perfect, and Amelie’s warm, attentive service made the evening special. She provided great menu recommendations and ensured everything was just right. The food was delicious and flavorful, making the night truly memorable. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely return!

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is varied and delicious and the service is nice and excellent. There is all kinds of coffee, juices, tea and milk. The restaurant also has breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Had a wonderful time there We tried their Eggs Avo florentine, Eggs Benny , Full English and a stack of pancakes 🥞 Didn't like the mocha as it was tooo chocolatey but other than that the plating, the taste and the service was good .

Perhaps we should have been forewarned when the host rolled his eyes as we walked, however I've never judged a book by its cover so I thought "they are busy, its been a long day". As we were sested at the very back of the restaurant, I noted lovely, we've missed the rush as it was only around 20% full. After mumbling something unintelligable our host plonked the menus down and walked off. As did we after waiting 15 minutes with no sign from any of the servers that they intended to take our drink order let alone food order. Note to self, with so many excellent restaurants in Leeds avoid this one.

Really enjoyed the food, but service was very slow, we ended having to go hunting for waiting staff so we could get dessert menus and get the bill because of where we were sat. There were 4 of us and table was booked for 2, we didn't have starters and didn't get our dessert until 4:30! Always had great experiences at my local Bill's so was disappointed in the service here.

had brunch today for my daughters 20th , had a brilliant meal and some fantastic food i really enjoyed the brunch plate and tropical juice drink and passionfruit martinis , thanks to james for his polite and attentive service and harry for his delicious drinks and bang on measures, will definately be coming again soon. thanks again for a brilliant meal

Been many times and it’s definitely going downhill. Probably won’t come again now they have gone cashless. That’s a red line unfortunately.

Such a lovely relaxing place to have lunch and a catch up. My friend and I loved the hummus toast with 2 poached eggs. Brunch served well into the afternoon. Recommended

The restaurant was beautiful, the food was tasty and the service just top notch. When we arrived we had a reservation for later that day but the friendly staff was very accommodating and gave us a table within just a few minutes after we arrived, this was almost an hour earlier than our reservation, our server Valeria took excellent care of our table and brought us everything we needed so promptly. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

It’s a cute place but had an odd atmosphere. We came in for an early breakfast and were greeted promptly, staff were nice, maybe a little bit pushy about upselling. We were sat in a corner near a vent and it stunk of wee. We ordered the pancakes and breakfast bap and the food was lovely. I feel like this place would have a lot more life in the evenings but wouldn’t choose to visit again for breakfast. It was also quite a high price for what it was and the service charge wasn’t optional, I would have tipped but prefer to do so on my own terms. Overall okay experience

My mother and I arrived around 10:15 on a Sunday morning. Although it was busy we had the choose of an outside or indoors table. My mother has a chilli allergy and the staff where fantastic at providing advise a a custom meal. Staff and service was fast and attentive. Very impressive. Great vibes and good food. I have the English breakfast. Most enjoyable. Coffee good also. Highly recommend.

Served by Emma today! Always enjoy chatting with her. An attentive, friendly and lovely girl. Atmosphere is great - music plays quietly in the background allowing you to hear the person in front of you easily. And the food, as always, absolutely delicious.
