Bibis Indian Takeaway in Glasgow City

We have been regular and decent customers for years. However after last Friday (14th of Feb) it's safe to say we won't be customers any longer. We ordered as we normally would, got a garlic cheese naan bread. Cheese burger and a chips, cheese and Donner between us. I requested that the cheese, garlic naan bread be put into a pizza box, so that it doesn't stick together, which has always been done before. Food turned up, and I queried the delivery driver why there was no pizza box and he said and I quote "aww the pizza box thing? Just phone and complain"...ok...so I opened the food, no full cheese garlic naan whatsoever, two small, pre made things, that were cold, cheese wasn't even melted which you'll see in the pictures. My partner ordered the burger (which is now a "smash burger" that they hadn't advertised on their website) and it was completely burnt to the point it was black (as you can also see in the pictures) I phoned the restaurant and spoke to the owner (Ali) who very much agreed over the phone (no doubt this will be denied) that my opinion on the food was correct, and they had made a mistake and sent his apologies, which wasn't good enough in my opinion and I told him to just forget it. Later that night we received a text message from him (which has also been shown in pictures) promising a refund due to the state and negligence of the situation. We agreed...over a week later and more discussions about the refund (including him saying he was going to send the refund through personally) we are still waiting. Absolute joke of an establishment. They have changed their menu to make things cheaper, not to improve anything from a customers point of view and even when they admit they are wrong and promise refunds, they still don't tell the truth. I recommend you avoid this place like the plague. Poor food, poor customer service and poor execution for everything they try to either do or not to do. Clearly customers are second to the posh house and car. AVOID.

absolutely terrible kebab was oily and not cooked properly tastes like human meat it has no salt barely any chips with the donner the guys r rude overpriced DO BETTER!!!!!

We popped in for some food and will definitely be coming back. The owner was so pleasant and patiently went through all recommended items. The thin crust chicken tikka pizza was stunning and the chips were cooked to perfection. The children’s oreo and kinder milkshakes were deliciously made. The whole place is super clean and follows strict hygiene protocols. Will not eat anywhere else again!

I only recently started ordering from Bibi’s the last month, I get a meal deal every Sunday for cheat day. I found out about it from family, the app is easy to navigate, but I love good food and especially good food with a bargain. If you order a collection on the app, you get 25% of of you spend £25 or more! This is beyond great value, and the good is top notch!! The service too is great, too.. I don’t love too far from it, but as soon as you order to collect, the food will be ready in about 12 minutes. A+

What did I get for paying for king size? The smallest box and naan you offer? The last time I was in the shop you begged me to use your website saying it was cheaper but it's the exact same price. Then you tried to get me to bank transfer you money - and it would cost me 90p for the pleasure - directly to your buisiness account. it's a shame because the food is good but sick of nonsense. I expect a bigger portion for paying extra, we're not giving you donations

Got sky burger meal kebab meat was all burnt chips you where lucky if there was 10 and cold no can of irn brew very disappointed worse meal I have ever had from there 😑

Egyptian calazone is the best I’ve tried bar far ,plenty donner ,chicken and veg… super saucy will be ordering again very soon 😎

Food was late and cold milkshake was like water

Kebab meat was dry as a bone so was the pakora and the spicy chicken pizza tasted off as well

Foot is ok. However what ypu pay for it is crazy prices... would expect much more foor and better quality for the price. We were around 40-50 pounds for 2 adults and 1 child food delivery

One of the worst deliveries from bibis I have encountered. It seems like everytime the £11 deal goes up the quality goes down. P1ss poor tbh. Donner meat was leather. Pizza base was frozen not fresh dough. Sauce on pizza base was horrendously sour. And lamb was as chewy as a dogs toy. 2/10 (food was hot or score would have been 1)

This meal has not been delivered. And it's not the first time this has happened with this takeaway

The guys in here are amazing been eating here for years and never disappointed there chicken tikka masala is the best I've had but my favourite is the meat lovers calzone. It's the best they go out there way to be helpful and always ask after me if I don't order in a while the drivers are super friendly and helpful couldn't recommend them enough

Superb Indian takeaway. Tried it a few times now and not 1 complaint. Curried pizza is superb and the salt n chilli chicken pakora is absolutely elite although it is spicy so be warned but I loved it. My only place to go for Indian food now.

I stopped using this place when raj left now he's back am never away... loads of new stuff on the just eat menu too. All the old food is back to normal and am working my way through the new stuff 😂 the wraps n pizza fries are really good... the salt n chilli chips are lovely... donner meats got better too n the jazz box is my oldest favourite, u get loads in it, he will get it when he has a friend over for them to share.

Now that the previous owner raj is back the food is absolutely amazing again. great service friendly staff and great deals on the food also shops always spotless ❤️

First time trying here. Curry was wee bit dry Nan wasn't too good. On a positive when you cut t he chicken it was proper real white chicken.

Used 2 be half decent and altho in fairness theyr busy behind the counter ,the pizza was well below whats expected and had before ... hence the comments and only commenting on this is not the first time.wu this order ..... the other part of my order was the chips amd curry sauce.... was was decent if not bagin ... and that sums it up.

Bland, overpriced food. A few chunks of burnt kebab on a pizza is apparently double donner. Gave it a 1 as at least the dogs ate it.

If I could mark down 0 stars I would Food was not labelled so didn’t know what was what. Was missing a curry. Phoned to say missing curry and couldn’t say what it was due to no labelling - adv was passing to my daughter as she knew more - Person on phone said to continue our own convo and hung up. Daughter rang back and he said he didn’t hang up that I was talking to someone else. My daughter advised I was just handing the phone. When saying we were missing a curry the gentlemen interrupted said we were wrong as he packed it him self. This continued to go back and forth. He would not listen or even acknowledge what was being said. Ended up hanging up as He just would not listen and would constantly talk over. My daughter has to share a curry with someone else because hers was missing. Everyone had chicken curries and all agreed the chicken was tough and definitely not fresh which should be especially since it took an hour to be delivered - no issue with that if it was fresh. We didn’t know whose was whose due to the no labelling and they all tasted similar too so could of ate the wrong thing. I’m not happy with the service given by the person operating on the phone. Nor are we happy with the food it was £62 down the drain as barley anything touched as it was that terrible. Friend and family are adv not to eat here. The service itself was enough to keep us away

Omg this food was amazing , been searching for a proper chicken kebab since I came home from London and been back for ages got to say top class , not heard a sound from my three extremely noisy kids because they are to busy eating (Donner kebabs) . From order to delivery was super fast but live very close. Delivery driver was very polite . Defo five stars , will order again and also recommend.

Got a chicken kebab and a chicken pakora at 5pm on 22nd march got home kebab was terrible full of scraps not one decent piece of chicken couldn't eat it pakora was a little bit better than the chicken kebab first time thats happened but won't waste another £18 again he has a range rover sitting outside his shop and he stays over byres Rd i won't waste my money in this shop again food is poor ...your response is poor rip off worst take away in the east end... and you know what you are

Went into shop asked for a take away guy behind the counter cheekily said they were closed. All the food was laid out ovens were on and other guy was cooking. On looking at web site it says shop is open tried phoning went to answer machine which said send a text or leave your order. I assume they don’t want passing trade only text messages. It was first time I tried buying from this shop it will be the last and I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this shop. More because of the attitude I received from the staff. Shop is clearly open.

Food is nice but the kebab sauce and pakora sauce are to watery not happy at all aasked for sauce to be thick and its still like water

I got food poisoning after getting a takeaway from Bibi’s Indian Cuisine in Easterhouse. Chicken pakora wasn’t cooked properly. Avoid this place, or you might get Ill like me

First time we have tried here and must admit best meal ever. Delivery was fast and driver really pleasant.everything was roasting hot. Curries first class, pakora amazing.big portions. Kids loved the cheese pizza and they are picky eaters.definetly order again..our new place 👍👍👍👍

Order off just eat waited 2 1/2 hours for it phone shop 2 times said it was on way but then was told they forgot about it so just cancel it but still had to pay for it so still fight with justeat to get money back will never order from here and just eat again

I've just had a meal delivered to me. It was still piping hot and is the best curry I've had in a long time and the naan bread was enormous. I will definitely be ordering again. Well done and thank you.

When you go to this place check your order the last three times I've been they have forgot some part of my order, and when you tell them it's like it's your fault no apology. I won't be back.

Ordered from here via Just Eat and once the delivery turned up the delivery driver demanded £2 for delivery even though it was paid by card via Just Eat. Think the driver was chancing his arm to make more money! Shame really as the food was really nice!

Waited 1 hour 40 minutes to receive 3 kebabs. With no sauce. Was told I had to ask for sauce. Sauce comes with a kebab or they should ask. Called. Not interested. Shocking service.

Superb takeaway, Lamb Punjabi Masala is delicious. Fantastic fresh kebab with freshly cooked bread and salad. Not your usual takeaway rubbish.

I ordered a curry and rice was brilliant, best place about for quick food. Employees were so nice brilliant customer service. Atmosphere was amazing everyone having a laugh. Would recommend 100%

The food here is great usually all freshly prepared and crisp from the fryer absolutely nothing is soggy and with some great 11 pound deals you can't go wrong only missing one star due to a recent price increase
