Friendly staff, nice interior, not a flashy restaurant though. A lot of choices on the menu, all the Thai classics plus many others I haven’t seen elsewhere. Very reasonably priced and food was delicious.

Its a hidden gym which we go to all the time. The food is priced fair and absolutely delicious 😋 and the waitress we always have always remembers us. I definitely recommend going 👌

Having booked a table, I was surprised to see the restaurant half empty last Friday night and, subsequently, disappointed that the pad Thai was not as good as usual. My friend had one glass of wine, and I had a jasmine tea, which was flavourless, even after having more tea leaves added to the pot. By the end of our meal, we were very tired so I did not pay attention to the itemised bill and was very cross on getting home to see that two glasses of wine had been added to the bill. I will not be eating there again.

We really enjoy coming to Bhan Thai in Potters bar. We enjoy the food so much. The staff are always friendly. I also see lots of people come back again and again. It really is the place to get excellent Thai food.

I first placed an order with this restaurant approximately two months ago and left a negative review after I paid, didn’t receive my order and was unable to contact the restaurant that night regarding the matter. The following day I called the restaurant back and spoke to the manager about the issues I had faced. I was given a sincere apology and offered a 50% discount in compensation. I finally chose to order from this restaurant again yesterday and was very pleased with the service I received. I ordered chicken satay, chicken pad thai, pork pad see-ew and the three flavour crispy fish. The order arrived in a timely manner and all dishes were very tasty. All things considered, the initial issue I faced was with an incompetent Uber Eats driver and not the restaurant itself. Having raised the issues with the restaurant they were very attentive and provided a suitable resolution. I will be ordering from this restaurant again.

Cannot understand what has happened to this restaurant! Ordered a takeaway which I collected at 5.30, just after they opened. Red curry and sticky rice. Rice was horrendous. Stuck together in a sausage shape and crispy on the outside. I took it back and asked the owner what she thought. Her reply...."sticky rice is very sticky"! It was reheated and over microwaved. No apology, no acceptance that there was anything wrong! Never going back. Such a shame, this used to be a superb little restaurant.

Ordered the Pla rad thik for £ 14.90. Fish was stale and stank.Food tasted awful with very small portion size.You will get a full fish for that amount in any other Thai take away restaurant.The sauce was stale and tasted like something that had been microwaved from a big drum. After a few attempts to eat I gave up and binned almost everything .

First visit with a friend that has been many times. Shared 2 mains and a pad Thai. Chicken Teryaki and a Bhan Thai crispy duck. Every mouthful was so tasty we cleared our plates. Lovely friendly service. I will definitely be returning

Really authentic Thai. Cosy, very attentive service, we feel privileged to have such a nice restaurant nearby. The fried squid was crispy and well presented. The weeping tiger sizzling beef steak was perfect cooked medium. Can also recommend the soups, pad Thai and the authentically spiced green curry We missed dessert but it looked temping. Best to book in advance in weekend, even if open most/all days.

The same lady who delivers our food (restaurant staff) is always very nice and cheerful, even though our address is a a little distance away from the restaurant. We always order from here because the food is really nice. Thank you!

No sweet chilli sauce with the spring rolls and the weeping tiger wasn't very flavoursome. The rest of the food was great but a shame about the sauce! Best thai in PB so hopefully one off

Poor quality ingredients. .Spicy noodles arrived overcooked and stuck together. Inedible. Chicken teriyaki was just dry overcooked slices of cheap chicken in a salty sauce. Worst Thai meal I have ever eaten. Not sure what has happened to this place as thought it was good. It wasn't.

I honestly don't know how this restaurant has got good reviews, I ordered a pork stir fry and a pork curry, and it contained literal boiled bacon. The meat was pink, flat and salty. Won't be wasting my money here again.

Use Bhan Thai regularly for takeaways. One of the best Thai restaurants we have the pleasure of using. Excellent service, staff are friendly and helpful. Food is always tasty and very reasonably priced. We usually collect but delivery service is also very good. A great place.

The only thing that went wrong was the driver letting my dogs escape. Huge signs on the closed gate says keep shut but sadly he didn’t and stepped aside to let the dogs run.

They do a nice special fried rice but the spicy noodles were horrible. They arrived a just a solid wedge of noodles with small pieces of chicken. Such a disappointment. I’m annoyed as the woman on the phone said they were popular and very good.

Really not good. Nothing tasted even south-east asian at all... all dishes we ordered lacked the fragrant herbs, balance of sweet and sour and heat of authentic Thai food. My grilled chicken was soggy and flavourless, som-tam completely spice-less and watery, and nam-tok bland. We hoped to find a replacement to our beloved Rice Terrace in High Barnet that closed down, but this was sadly far, far from it. Staff were lovely, but I'm sorry - we won't be ordering from you again.

Really recommend this place for authentic Thai cuisine and great service, the staff are very kind and friendly who take pride in their service. No fancy tablecloths or decor but who cares when the food is this good. You can’t get better than that.

The egg fried rice was bland had hardly any egg in it , Satay chicken was bland too and peanut sauce had no flavour to it very disappointed will not buy from here again

Has been a Friday lunchtime staple for our office for quite some time now. Always nice food decent sized but unfortunately, only warm every time I've had something. I have to zap mine for 90secs every time. My colleagues seem very happy tho so maybe mine's always cooked 1st lol. They do lunch deals at 7quid (main plus rice) or starter n main for I think 9quid. Good treat every now n then 😋😋😋

Not posh - it's wipe clean tables and slightly untidy counter - but the food is good , the staff very friendly and helpful, and the cost pretty reasonable. We'll be returning.

This was my first visit to Bhan Thai. I picked it as it was a midway location for the two of us, so mindful that the location made it an ideal place to eat I would have been happy it the food had just been average, but it turned out to be the best Thai meal I've ever had!!! The restaurant itself is a casual setting (cafe style) but the food is absolutely superb! The staff were fabulous too, so friendly yet extremely professional and welcoming. I am already planning my next visit to Bhan Thai and can't wait to introduce more friends to the place

Nicely cooked and tasty food, freshly prepared and served in a simple Café setting at a reasonable price point. The front of house staff are all fairly young but polite and keen in my experience. I've been eating here since it first opened.

Yet another company that state the food is coming earlier than estimated time but after 50 minutes the food hasn’t arrived. Restaurant says it left 20 minutes ago and the driver has 4 other deliveries so they don’t know how much longer it’ll be. This isn’t great customer service

Sticky rice was cold hard and dry even though was delivered on time, The king prawn and mushroom soup was 99% plain water with 2 or 3 small prawns. Only upside was the soup was hot, but strangely rice was cold. Was our first try, would not order again to be honest.

Tasty food can tell it was fresh

Chicken satay skewers were quite dry and the spring rolls weren’t crispy but I understand it’s hard to keep them crispy when they sweat in the foil tin. The rest of the meal was pleasant
