We booked our wedding at Belle Isle for the final weekend in March 2024. Everything was so well taken care of, Emma went out of her way to make sure we were all looked after. She was incredible.

We loved going to Belle Isle Estate. It was a great location for our family to enjoy the beautiful Fermanagh countryside. There is lots to do in the surrounding area and enjoyed our three day (2 night) break. The cottages are cosy and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.

We had a fantastic one night stay in Belle Isle courtyard apartments. The accommodation is a beautifully renovated farm building/stable which was clean,spacious and cosy especially with the wood burning stove. The location is perfect, tranquil and beautiful countryside. I didn't want to leave! Fantastic walks around the grounds and gorgeous views for miles. It was the first time we took our 2 dogs away with us and this was the perfect place for them. They were exhausted when we left! The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. They gave lots of info about places to visit and eat in the area.

Very peaceful place to stay, lovely grounds for walks, added bonus that you can bring your dog, loved the open fire very cosy, 10/10 easy check in and out . Highly recommended for anyone who loves the outdoors with plenty of places to fish , Enniskillen not to far for eating out and shopping. Look forward to returning thank you

My now husband and I got married at the Belle Isle Estate. We live in Chicago, so planning a destination wedding seemed like it would be a stressful endeavor, but the team at Belle Isle made it incredibly stress-free. Calling it our dream wedding would be a major understatement, it exceeded all of our expectations. We rented the estate for a week so that all of our guests could stay with us for the days surrounding the wedding. Cherry was there every step of the way to help me plan and coordinate all of the events and make sure that we all had everything we needed and desired. She provided me with outstanding outside vendors for the wedding (Saddlers for catering, Clare Flowers for florals, Jill Wallace for makeup, Eden Hair for hair) as well as activities we could plan at the estate or nearby (Falconry- The Northern Ireland School of Falconry, horseback riding at The Forest Stables, Marble Arch Cave tour, Devenish Island boat tour, day at Florencourt) and helped me setup an afternoon tea and rehearsal dinner service with Saddlers. Cherry even provided recommendations on where to eat in Enniskillen and provided us with a travel itinerary for our honeymoon. Cherry was incredibly responsive, willing to answer all of my questions and really went above and beyond to make sure every detail was how we wanted it to be. Her communication was stellar and our meetings were always so productive and thorough. You wouldn’t know we were in another time zone or country for that matter! On the day of our wedding we had Emma there to handle every single thing big and small. She was right there when I needed her and somehow there when I didn’t know I needed her. The estate itself is just breathtaking and incredibly comfortable. The bridal suite is absolutely perfect for a “big day” stay and made for gorgeous photos. We loved being able to meet everyone for breakfast in the morning and getting to spend such quality time together throughout the week. It’s a week we’ll never forget with memories we are so grateful we were able to make with our friends and family. A huge thank you to Belle Isle and for everyone who helped make our wedding week spectacular! I hope to go back some day to celebrate an anniversary and show our kids where we were married. I love Belle Isle I keep returning as it’s a great location and just 15 mins from the centre of Enniskillen. The walled cottage garden is excellent for my dogs.

Our families and friends met at Belle Isle Castle for 4 days and nights to celebrate our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding. The wedding day was wonderful and went very smoothly. We truly appreciated the professional staff who took care of us all so well. The castle felt like home for the 4 very special days we spent together there.

From start to finish, Belle Isle Castle and its staff exceeded our expectations! Planning our wedding from another continent was a breeze! Emma is such a thoughtful and beautiful person, she mad sure everything was perfect for us and our guests throughout our entire stay (4x nights castle and cottages). They are true professionals and it was a magical experience we and our guests will remember forever. The property itself is such a dream, it has so much charm and character. Hopefully we get to visit again one day! Million thanks to Emma and the team!

Just love this place , best place by far we have stayed , ideal for our fishing trips with our boat as there is jetty to Moor up close to accomadation, def a 10 out of 10 as it ticks all the boxes , this is our 3rd time staying here and will for sure be back , A big thank you to belle isle and all the staff , best regards Gary , Jeff, Mel

There is not a place I would recommend more highly than Belle Isle. We stayed there for several nights and had our wedding ceremony/reception in their sunken gardens/great hall. We did the whole thing sight unseen so we had to put a lot of trust in Emma and the staff. They did not disappoint!! The pictures do not do it justice, it's everything one could want for their special day. Emma in particular was an absolute dream to work with. She made everything go smoothly and was an complete joy to be around. My only advice would be to stay as many days as you can!

The most perfect place to get lost and heal! The courtyard we stayed in and the whole estate was beyond well maintained. All you need is you, your pup, a book, pen and paper and a good pair of wellies and you'll have the perfect break. We can't thank the beautiful staff for their kindness, chats, laughs and looking out for our doggo! First time staying here and we absolutely loved it. Our cottage was well appointed and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Would love to come back.

As the celebrant of a wedding recently at this stunning venue I found all the staff to be wonderfully helpful and friendly. Cherry was on hand for any request and ensured that the ceremony room (beautiful BTW) was laid out perfectly. Food, provided by Saddlers of Enniskillen under Norman Coalter was excellent and he can be very proud of his staff who made everything seem effortless. The castle is very impressive with luxury accommodation and fabulous views over Lough Erne but not too big to be intimidating.

My wife and I had our wedding here at Belle Isle Castle and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were very helpful in keeping things moving and on schedule the day of. They were also very helpful in assisting us in finding vendors as we had to do this an ocean away. Overall, it'll be a memory for both my wife and I that we will cherish forever, and wish to visit again when we find ourselves in Northern Ireland again!

Beautiful, peaceful and tranquil location set on an island (accessible by bridge) in Lough Erne with a captivating view over the lakes from the South-facing Castle. The bedrooms and bathrooms were luxurious, comfortable and exceptionally spacious. The receptions rooms/drawing rooms were large, opulent and equally spacious. We had a truly remarkable long weekend in the characterful house/castle. The catering was excellent and the staff were friendly, helpful, professional and courteous. For us, it was a perfect location for a family reunion to celebrate a 90th birthday and cost pp was reasonable. My only regret was that it was too short - I would have loved to stay longer!

Beautiful comfy, cosy cottage in lovely woodland setting. Our only quibble was the lack of basic toiletries.

We stayed at Belle Isle for our wedding in September 2023. Our whole experience was magnificent. The venue itself was just gorgeous, and Emma was the most fantastic event planner. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We enjoyed our stay there immensely.

Fabulous stay. CY2 Beech is very spacious & clean. You could fit 6 people (if allowed). Highly recommend for a family with kids, loved the play area being close & loved walking the dog along the trails. I would recommend a map inside the apt. to define the dog walks. A communal seating & BBQ area to enjoy the sunshine all day would make it v sociable. Please reopen the bistro or some form of sit down lunch/ dinner we would have loved to have had that experience. Google maps was best for the boat hire navigation. For off-peak season on the boat there’s not many restaurants along the river open outside of Fri-Sun (even though it was Easter). We found Carrybridge Hotel did good pub grub. I enjoyed meeting the Curly Pigs and learning about their important conservation work - perhaps a member of staff could do a free guided tour, to learn about all the animals. Handy location for Nat. Trust, Mable arch caves and Donegal. We’ll be back to explore. :-)

Rarely do we return somewhere three times- so that says it all! Immaculately clean accommodation and dog friendly too. The staff are so very friendly, well informed and helpful. This is an excellent location to explore the Fermanagh area and the setting is beautiful.

My husband & I have just returned from a three night stay at Belle Isle Castle we had the best time . We stayed in the Oak cottage along with our wee dog Rocco , the accommodation was very well equipped with just about everything you need. We especially loved the log burning stove it was so cosy in the chilly evenings . It is a perfect stay for pets & had lots of great walks around the estate although a bit muddy (bring welly boots ) The location is stunning with beautiful countryside & lovely views & is about 20 minutes drive from Enniskillen town . We will definitely be returning to this fantastic accommodation 👍🏻😁

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in the Abercorn Wing of the Castle at Belle Isle to celebrate a special birthday. There were 8 adults in our family gathering with 3 small children. Everything was perfect - Warm, clean, lots of space and great kitchen facilities. We were able to dine at the large table in the library and relax in the drawing room with beautiful views of Lough Erne from all the rooms. The Abercorn wing was beautifully furnished with every comfort at our disposal including an ample supply of firewood for the large open fires. All five bedrooms had spacious en-suite facilities and the beds were extremely comfortable. We sincerely hope we will be able to make a return visit in the near future.

Lovely hidden place we found on the edge of Enniskillen Co. Fermanagh. Long or short walks. We brought our wellies and needed them to see the pigs. Staff friendly and very efficient. Only disadvantage WiFi poor hubby has a defibrillator fitted and should have WiFi to send messages to hospital. Dog friendly and they enjoyed the walks. Hope to rebook again.

A beautiful place to go for a quiet relaxing break. Enjoyed many short breaks in Belle Isle and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Lovely, clean, fully equipped cottage with a cozy fireplace set in beautiful surroundings. We had a fantastic few days here. Check in & out couldn't have been smoother (and the nearby pigs were lovely too!)

I DJ here on a regular basis at Weddings and I can easily say it's my all time favourite venue . Beautiful setting and fantastic staff and always a great night . The fishing pretty good too .

Lovely break in a quite a peaceful location. Staff were responsive to our requests and the local area was full of interesting places to visit. The accomodation was top class and very clean. Lovely log burning stove, full kitchen and super shower room. Bring your own toiletries,!

The cottage was very well equipped, fresh, clean and very cosy. Great we could have our dog with us. The walks are very limited and muddy but a good base for exploring the general area. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful dog friendly cottages in beautiful countryside, the cottages are very spacious, well presented and spotless they have everything you could possibly need for a brilliant stay and so cosy with a big log burner and as we stayed in new year there was a Christmas tree 🙂 have recommended and will stay again. Lovely location , we stayed in #3 the courtyard it was like walking into Dr Who's tardis , so big and spacious, log burner , kitchen and a very spacious lounge area complete with dinner table and chairs Upstairs a great bathroom with a very spacious shower the bedroom was massive with a king size bed 3 windows with blackout blinds . Lovely walks if you bring your pet , we brought our collie Flynn , the walks are mostly on hardcore but the woodland walks were a bit muddy and could do with a bit more signage . All in all lovely staff lovely quiet relaxing location we will definitely return .

Fabulous spot, stayed in the sycamore apartment , would love to see a WIFI booster or extender as the cell service is bad and the WIFI inside the buildings very poor, especially for guests from overseas that don't have cell service. Staff were awesome

Cottage was clean, well equipped and warm. Staff very attentive making sure we had everything we needed.

My wife and I stayed for one night with our dog. Positives : Cottages where nice, warm and clean. Nice log burners with unlimited logs :) Comfy bed and great views for dogs from low level window in bedroom. Lovely surroundings and views of lakes. Castle itself was lovely, could walk around it which was nice. Negatives : the two walking routes we were given where unwalkable, we had to turn back on both of them due to the poor ground conditions, Appreciate the weather was wet but no form of stones or anything on ground just pure gutters. Fridge wasn’t working correctly either, it froze everything we put into it so had frozen milk and sausages for breakfast. No Wi-Fi and the 3G reception was poor. There was no tea bags or sugar supplied in our cottage which we thought would have been a nice tough for people when they arrive, we would have expected a bit more for the £200 per night price. Enjoyed our stay overall, would give it another try in the summer.

Stayed at Cathcart Lodge for a weekend. Top class. Slept really well on comfortable beds. Murphy our golden retriever loved the cottage too. Great views from the front bedroom. Kitchen had everything you needed.

Fantastic accommodation in beautiful and peaceful environment.

Lovely cottage gorgeous location. Only gripe we had was thar there is no actual sign where the cottages are to show you where the walks start. There is a map at reception but it was so unclear unclear we ended up going up farmers Lane way. We eventually found an arrow next morning by accident. It would be really helpful to put an actual sign in the courtyard pointing towards the starting point. There was noone at reception on the Saturday to ask. But when we did locate the walk the forest and the pigs were lovely!

Great weekend staying in the Bridge Cottage. Private, clean, great space and most importantly…….peaceful. 4 people will stay comfortably in the house, it has great views of the waters edge. No Wi-Fi in the cottage which although wasn’t really an issue but add that to not having the best, if any phone reception at times was the only reason it didn’t get the 5th star. Will be back.

We have been back here twice in 2nonths and love it. The only negative is the noise of the dogs barking at night. We would live here given if a chance 🥰

Great trip, accommodation in Coach House was excellent, great base to travel round Enniskillen area, would visit again. Just a pity the Bistro wasn’t open.

Marvellous variety of outdoor locations - whether we were in the garden, in woodland, in fields, along hedgerows; Fun tasting of vegetables grown in both garden and polytunnel but also of wild food from trees, hedges and verges. Delicious buffet lunches provided by Tully Mill. Good craic. Nice number of people - easy to get to know everyone. Outstanding chance for genuine, 3-dimensional social networking. Refreshing range of ages proving that growing food is, literally, for everyone. Came away feeling totally enriched by the experience and reinvigorated in my own gardening. Clever timing of the course as, being at the end of September, it gave one inspiration for what one can do immediately in the Autumn garden, but also for planning for the Winter garden and for next year. And maybe the best thing of all was being able to spend the whole of the weekend in one’s wellies!

This is a hidden gem. Lovely quiet place if your looking to relax. Even our dog Lara enjoyed the peace and quiet and loved the attention she received from the receptionist who offered to keep her in the office with her lol. Some nice walks nearby to suit everyone. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Belle Isle is a special place. My friend and I stayed in one of the cottages for a weekend organic vegetable growing weekend. The cottage we stayed in was beautifully fitted out, some lovely old prints and antique furniture mixed with all mod cons. Everything was perfect.

Just back from a wonderful weekend on a foraging and gardening course at Belle Isle Estate. Could not recommend it more if another one pops up! Belle Isle is such a magical place to get away, surrounded by all that nature has to offer and cosy cottages to come back to in the evening. I walked away with a bounty of knowledge from our teacher Klaus about how to tend my garden and improve soil quality. And after the foraging class with Clothilde I have already found myself in the local park picking rose hips and other wild edibles...a huge success :-)

What a wonderful trip I had to belle isle estate. It’s a fabulous location close to every amenity you could think of. Following a brief misunderstanding, on arrival, about what catering facilities were going to be available, I settled into a fabulous apartment, with an en-suite room including a bath, that was well appreciated following a hike up nearby stairway to heaven. Tatiana, Nicholas and Cherry are wonderful and beautiful people that excel in every aspect of hospitality. The business they run is an absolute credit to them. I came to Belle Isle to participate in a course of kitchen gardening and forest foraging with Klaus Laitenberger And Clothilde Walenne and neither disappointed. Both having the maximum knowledge of their topics and delivering with ease and at a level that kept everyone entertained no matter what level they were at. I’m looking forward to seeing more events like this being hosted on the estate. Thank you so much to everyone involved Jenny x

Phenomenal surroundings - stay to escape the bustle of modern life and escape for a few days of nature. Returned after our wedding a few months back. Tatiana and Nicholas (Lord and Lady Hamilton) have a real gem in Belle Isle. Stay and self cater or visit and sample what the local area has to offer. Belle isle also offer cookery schools, residential gardening courses and forgaging. We will be returning for many years to come. Thank you to Lord and Lady Hamilton and the wonderful staff at Belle Isle.

We rented the house and some of the courtyard for our 50th birthday celebration and it was magical from start to finish. The house and surroundings are stunning. The staff were extremely helpful and the catering far exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the whole team for an unforgettable experience!

Belle isle cottages were very tidy, clean and calming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the island was lovely and peaceful to walk around. Fishing was fantastic at the bridge with roach, perch Hybrids and pike We loved it here and would recommend.

We had a fab weekend, perfect for self catering party. No pressure - kids and adults just relaxed -just chilled out and jumped into Lough Erne and kayaked.

Stunning place, beautifully maintained and cared for. It has modern amenities and plenty of parking. We were a group of 25 and had lots of room to work, socialize and relax. Take your family, friends or even office for a work away weekend!

Fantastic walks all around the island, even at night..the castle and the cottages lit up..the silence..accommodation had everything we needed and more..staff were more than welcoming, especially Doreen. Absolutely beautiful island and lives up to it’s name. My family and I stayed in 4 cottages in the courtyard for 1 week. The cottages are spacious and very comfortable. The island is very peaceful and relaxing, it’s a escape from the everyday stresses of life.I would like to thank Emma, Cherry, the gardeners ( father and son) and of course lovely Doreen. We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely be back.

Lovely visit with great accommodation

Peaceful and quiet courtyard holiday apartment. Excellent condition and high standard of finish. Furniture (wicker) got a bit uncomfortable after a while. Suggest a proper sofa, but not a deal breaker. Staff excellent & courteous Well located and Enniskillen was easy to get to. Only other observation I would have, better recycling of rubbish.

We stayed there for a couple of days last week and we were very impressed so much that we stayed on for an extra night. Great place friendly staff beautiful surroundings. I would really recommend.

Doreen & housekeeping staff on arrival, for which we were very early was very accommodating and the house was immaculately clean. We had Belle Isle caterers for dinner and afternoon tea. Our dinner was nothing short of incredible, food was among one of the best meals I’ve ever had with our guests all saying the same. Afternoon tea was equally good and presented beautifully. The waiting team were friendly but very efficient and went out of their way to make sure guests were well looked after, special thank you to Anita, Kate and John on the waiting / catering team. We hired the Hamilton Wing, the interior design is beautiful and every room is different. Bathrooms have Penhaligon toiletries and large baths and/ or showers for each room. Highly recommend Belle Isle, so grateful for such amazing memories made here. Can’t wait to come back

We’ve visited several times now…in apartments and in the cottage. Beautifully clean, everything you need for kitchen & bathrooms, WiFi, etc. Love the estate and surrounding…great walks, play park, buzzards, pigs, donkeys to feed, deer, squirrels to watch, all within a short walk. Enniskillen is only a short drive away as are Marble Arch caves and at least three National Trust houses and gardens.Love, love , love the peace and quiet

The resort is well hidden off the main road but easy to find. It is peaceful and tranquil, and the cottages where we stayed are cosy and spacious. The staff too are helpful and kind. It is only a 15 minute drive to Enniskillen

We had a wonderful stay at the gloriously situated Belleisle Estate. So much to see and do and a very safe environment for children of all ages. Being able to barbecue on our doorstep was very relaxing. We will be back, hopefully, and trust that the Bistro will be open next time.

On 10th June I phoned the Belle Isle Bistro and made a reservation for dinner for 10 people for a special family celebration. I made it clear we would not be residents and was assured this was no problem. I was asked to send our menu choices which I did today. I was then informed by text that the reservation was cancelled, apparently the member of staff who took the booking has left and only residents can eat in the bistro. I am shocked and appalled that a reputable business feels treating anyone in this way is permissable - I am now in the position of trying to reorganise a family party for a celebration with family flying in for only a few days. At the moment this does not seem possible with only 2 weeks to go. I thought a business of such standing would be a safe choice and a wonderful event to look forward to - wrong on both counts. Absolutely loved my stay. We were in the Sycamore apartment and it was fantastic. Even got to meet the pigs. But bring your wellingtons. Definitely will be back.

Belle Isle ..beautiful as always. Been visiting since 2012 for many family milestones, sons wedding which was wonderfully hosted by Andrea, my father’s 80th birthday and now with with our grandchildren. Stayed in Coach 2 for two nights, very comfortable although much smaller than Beech where my son and his family were staying. Very clean as always but two disappointments…there were no toiletries in the one bathroom other than a small disc of soap. No pump dispensed soap or shampoo for the bath or shower. I would not call to disturb Andrea for this and it was the first time I didn’t pack my own…I managed and my granddaughter bathed at Beech. Other thing of note was that the roasting dish has handles and will not fit in the oven!! Our weather was lovely and the children were delighted to play in the new adventure park and to visit our old friends donkeys Ollie and Cosmo. Belle Isle is like home to us and we thank Andrea and her staff for all their hard work.

The accommodation and location were perfect, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. It was great to be able to have our meals outdoors, and to have the use of a couple of BBQs. The "football pitch" for the grandchildren was a real bonus, and the walks round the grounds were delightful. We never quite got to grips with the Bistro though. They wanted 72 hours notice for our menu choices (which seemed somewhat excessive), they were full on Saturday and Sunday but closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so we never got to eat there.

Lovely cottage with good restaurant

A fantastic weekend. Accommodation was great we stayed in Bridge House amazing views and spacious. Four of us and our dog and still plenty of room. The Bistro was excellent and the food wonderful. Staff were very helpful and always cheerful. The whole place was open and unspoilt with no crowds. We'll definitely go back.

We stayed in the courtyard and booked the Bistro for our special meal together.It was a really special place.The boys were helpful,friendly and customer interaction was 100%.The food was delicious.The fruit crumble with sorbet was so good,Sea Bass fresh and beautifully cooked..Thank you to Gerome and all who make this little Bistro a gem in the crown of Belle Isle...
