Omg I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding even if I had won the euro millions- it was just outstanding. Amy and the whole team took care of every single aspect of the day. From our first email to viewing the venue to send vendors lists, Honestly everything aspect was perfect.

Quite simply The Best As my first stay in The Ash house appears on the very first page of the visitors book in September 1998, in total my bookings with Belle Isle are well over 15 times at least. This was a return visit after a 20 year hiatus and within minutes of arriving I felt like I was home again. This is a treasure of a place even Storm Darragh couldn't spoil it for us. We look forward to our next trip and meeting Emma and the rest of the team very soon. No negatives at all.

A place to switch off and totally relax. We visited Belle Isle in October and were very fortunate weather wise. A car is required as there is nowhere to eat, drink or shop at Belle Isle just glorious peace and quiet. Dog friendly although dogs must be kept on a lead when outside the accommodation. We had a fully and tastefully decorated courtyard apartment complete with log burner. Will definitely return there.

Stayed for a wonderful weekend in the self catering cottages. Unfortunately it seems to have went down hill since we first stayed in the cottages a year or two back. There were about 2-dozen flies in the cottage on the first night. They where in the main bedroom and bathroom. Also the level of cleaning seemed to have went downhill. There was dust under the coffee table in the living room. Dust in the corner round the plug sockets and other places.

We stayed in ‘Ash’ Courtyard Apartment for six nights and it was so relaxing and peaceful. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and cosy with the log burner lit on chillier nights. It was well equipped and had everything we could possibly need. The estate itself is nothing less than spectacular and it was such a pleasure to walk around the grounds. An added bonus for us was that it was pet friendly as we had our dog with us to enjoy the experience. I just want to thank everyone who works so hard to keep Belle Isle such a fabulous place to stay! We definitely will be back! Kind regards Anita, Gary and Jasper.

Great place to stay, apartments have everything you need and want. A beautifully quiet nights sleep. Lovely views. Fab sunset. The grass in the walled garden was a joy for bare feet. Enjoyed the donkeys and the cows. My retriever not so much 😂. He’s scared of cows. Although pets are welcome they must be on their leads when out walking, which I didn’t pick up on when reading other reviews before I booked, so be advised. I had planned to just chill but the walks around the accommodation itself are very limited so we headed out instead. Glad we did. Crom Estate was divine, and my pup got to run wild and free at Big Dog Forest. The view from Little Dog was to die for. Great place for kids, not so much big dogs.

Two days celebrating my sister's wedding felt like a week as we settled into "our " castle. The rambling mansion offered plenty of rooms for socializing or quiet moments. The bedrooms were large, each decorated in tasteful style in tune with the grandeur of the castle without compromising comfort and modernity. The grounds are expansive, cows and sheep speckle the views of rustic woodlands, fields and lake. It really is the perfect setting for a private event away from distractions.

Words cannot even describe the incredible experience we had planning our wedding at Belle Isle Estate. Through the incredible distance between Colorado and Northern Ireland we always felt in complete control and on schedule with all things wedding related. The staff was absolutely amazing in making us feel prioritized and keeping us organized throughout the entire process. They walked us through the ENTIRE castle multiple times to truly make us feel connected to the venue, they always made time for us to check in whenever we requested (regardless of how far out our big day was) and took all of our details and ideas to heart. They truly made our wildest dreams come true. Planning a wedding is no easy task, especially when you are in a different country, but Belle Isle made it seem completely ordinary. They took extra measures and crafted a three day experience to make it uniquely ours, sharing suggestions when we were in need of ideas and adapting itineraries to meet all of our wishes. It was truly such a seamless process, and made so much stress and anxiety simply melt away with each call. Us and our guests felt completely at home when arriving at the estate. The rooms were something out of a dream, and all of our guests felt like actual royalty. Everyone had their own space which allowed for the best experience for everyone who had traveled so far. We utilized every space of the castle and planned different activities accordingly. The staff was so flexible and adjusted timelines as needed to ensure the perfect weekend was underway. We thoroughly enjoyed our time within the charming castle walls dancing, having family dinners, playing games and preparing for our big day - but the surrounding estate was such an added bonus. We took the time to go on group walks, watch the sheep graze, partake in some water activities such as fishing, boating and kayaking, and felt so lucky to have a moment of peace and disconnect from our normal daily lives. It is truly something out of a fairytale. We knew our wedding day would be magical in any setting, but this truly exceeded all of our expectations. The venue was clean, beautiful, comforting and an experience in itself. The staff was so incredibly attentive and charming throughout our 11 months working together. The vendor list provided is extensive, we felt no matter the decision we made it would be a perfect choice. Again, they would provide suggestions as needed to ensure we were making the right decisions. We would like to give a major shoutout to Amy who made this experience what it was. She went above and beyond for us and truly became a close friend. Leaving her was one of the hardest moments of the entire trip! She was not just our point of contact for the wedding, but she connected with all vendors and outside parties to truly let us be hands off once we boarded our plane to Dublin. She was there for every moment we needed her to be, and we are forever grateful. We truly want to thank everyone who played a part in hosting us and allowing us to have the most special day. We are already planning our trip back!

Amy and John made our experience and wedding weekend perfect. Wow, what a gorgeous place. Bear in mind these are self-catering apartments/houses, and there is nothing around the place at all, no shops, no restaurants, nothing, so make sure you bring supplies with you. We checked in, and the 2 girls in reception were absolutely amazing to deal with (and i mean, they would literally do anything within their power to help you). We were a family of 12 staying there for my father's surprise birthday which went down a treat (the staff let us hide our cars and sent my parent's to the room which we picked). We had two 2 bedroom houses, a 3 bedroom apartment and a 1 bedroom apartment. All were absolutely beautiful, inside and out. I can't speak more highly of the rooms. We were able to light the fire (firewood and Firestarter blocks provided), and it left a lovely smell in the houses. A small park out the back was just swings and a slide, but the kids were happy. Un the park was a firepit. This was our happy place. We sat around the firepit with an unlimited amount of wood (already provided) and really enjoyed our time as a family together. There were also barbecues provided and charcoal to light them were also included, so we went into enniskillen, bought a few burgers, sausages etc and had a great night. Would love to go back, and highly recommend the area and this accommodation to anyone looking a quiet weekend away, or to be used as a base to do other things while there. Cavan is not far at all, marble arch caves are close by, and we also hired boats, and went for a cruise. What a brilliant time and thanks to belle isle for making our weekend special 😀

My now husband and I got married at the Belle Isle Estate. We live in Chicago, so planning a destination wedding seemed like it would be a stressful endeavor, but the team at Belle Isle made it incredibly stress-free. Calling it our dream wedding would be a major understatement, it exceeded all of our expectations. We rented the estate for a week so that all of our guests could stay with us for the days surrounding the wedding. Cherry was there every step of the way to help me plan and coordinate all of the events and make sure that we all had everything we needed and desired. She provided me with outstanding outside vendors for the wedding (Saddlers for catering, Clare Flowers for florals, Jill Wallace for makeup, Eden Hair for hair) as well as activities we could plan at the estate or nearby (Falconry- The Northern Ireland School of Falconry, horseback riding at The Forest Stables, Marble Arch Cave tour, Devenish Island boat tour, day at Florencourt) and helped me setup an afternoon tea and rehearsal dinner service with Saddlers. Cherry even provided recommendations on where to eat in Enniskillen and provided us with a travel itinerary for our honeymoon. Cherry was incredibly responsive, willing to answer all of my questions and really went above and beyond to make sure every detail was how we wanted it to be. Her communication was stellar and our meetings were always so productive and thorough. You wouldn’t know we were in another time zone or country for that matter! On the day of our wedding we had Emma there to handle every single thing big and small. She was right there when I needed her and somehow there when I didn’t know I needed her. The estate itself is just breathtaking and incredibly comfortable. The bridal suite is absolutely perfect for a “big day” stay and made for gorgeous photos. We loved being able to meet everyone for breakfast in the morning and getting to spend such quality time together throughout the week. It’s a week we’ll never forget with memories we are so grateful we were able to make with our friends and family. A huge thank you to Belle Isle and for everyone who helped make our wedding week spectacular! I hope to go back some day to celebrate an anniversary and show our kids where we were married. I can’t recommend this venue enough and I’ll be forever grateful! -Kiely

Fabulous stay. CY2 Beech is very spacious & clean. You could fit 6 people (if allowed). Highly recommend for a family with kids, loved the play area being close & loved walking the dog along the trails. I would recommend a map inside the apt. to define the dog walks. A communal seating & BBQ area to enjoy the sunshine all day would make it v sociable. Please reopen the bistro or some form of sit down lunch/ dinner we would have loved to have had that experience. Google maps was best for the boat hire navigation. For off-peak season on the boat there’s not many restaurants along the river open outside of Fri-Sun (even though it was Easter). We found Carrybridge Hotel did good pub grub. I enjoyed meeting the Curly Pigs and learning about their important conservation work - perhaps a member of staff could do a free guided tour, to learn about all the animals. Handy location for Nat. Trust, Mable arch caves and Donegal. We’ll be back to explore. :-)

Lovely, clean, fully equipped cottage with a cozy fireplace set in beautiful surroundings. We had a fantastic few days here. Check in & out couldn't have been smoother (and the nearby pigs were lovely too!)

The cottage was very well equipped, fresh, clean and very cosy. Great we could have our dog with us. The walks are very limited and muddy but a good base for exploring the general area. Would definitely go back.

Lovely location , we stayed in #3 the courtyard it was like walking into Dr Who's tardis , so big and spacious, log burner , kitchen and a very spacious lounge area complete with dinner table and chairs Upstairs a great bathroom with a very spacious shower the bedroom was massive with a king size bed 3 windows with blackout blinds . Lovely walks if you bring your pet , we brought our collie Flynn , the walks are mostly on hardcore but the woodland walks were a bit muddy and could do with a bit more signage . All in all lovely staff lovely quiet relaxing location we will definitely return .

Fabulous spot, stayed in the sycamore apartment , would love to see a WIFI booster or extender as the cell service is bad and the WIFI inside the buildings very poor, especially for guests from overseas that don't have cell service. Staff were awesome

My wife and I stayed for one night with our dog. Positives : Cottages where nice, warm and clean. Nice log burners with unlimited logs :) Comfy bed and great views for dogs from low level window in bedroom. Lovely surroundings and views of lakes. Castle itself was lovely, could walk around it which was nice. Negatives : the two walking routes we were given where unwalkable, we had to turn back on both of them due to the poor ground conditions, Appreciate the weather was wet but no form of stones or anything on ground just pure gutters. Fridge wasn’t working correctly either, it froze everything we put into it so had frozen milk and sausages for breakfast. No Wi-Fi and the 3G reception was poor. There was no tea bags or sugar supplied in our cottage which we thought would have been a nice tough for people when they arrive, we would have expected a bit more for the £200 per night price. Enjoyed our stay overall, would give it another try in the summer.

Lovely cottage gorgeous location. Only gripe we had was thar there is no actual sign where the cottages are to show you where the walks start. There is a map at reception but it was so unclear unclear we ended up going up farmers Lane way. We eventually found an arrow next morning by accident. It would be really helpful to put an actual sign in the courtyard pointing towards the starting point. There was noone at reception on the Saturday to ask. But when we did locate the walk the forest and the pigs were lovely!

Great weekend staying in the Bridge Cottage. Private, clean, great space and most importantly…….peaceful. 4 people will stay comfortably in the house, it has great views of the waters edge. No Wi-Fi in the cottage which although wasn’t really an issue but add that to not having the best, if any phone reception at times was the only reason it didn’t get the 5th star. Will be back.

We have been back here twice in 2nonths and love it. The only negative is the noise of the dogs barking at night. We would live here given if a chance 🥰

It's peaceful and isolated, but so enjoyable, even if you have no wish to travel further or stay in your own space and company.

Entirely wonderful weekend. Well-organised and very welcoming. Thank you, Cherry! Excellent, highly informative speakers providing a wealth of ideas for food to grow/pick but also food for thought, including the global context. Thank you, Klaus and Clothilde! Covid-safe environments much appreciated. Thank you, Tatiana and Nicholas! Lots of space indoors so plenty of room to spread out. Great polytunnel. Marvellous variety of outdoor locations - whether we were in the garden, in woodland, in fields, along hedgerows; Fun tasting of vegetables grown in both garden and polytunnel but also of wild food from trees, hedges and verges. Delicious buffet lunches provided by Tully Mill. Good craic. Nice number of people - easy to get to know everyone. Outstanding chance for genuine, 3-dimensional social networking. Refreshing range of ages proving that growing food is, literally, for everyone. Came away feeling totally enriched by the experience and reinvigorated in my own gardening. Clever timing of the course as, being at the end of September, it gave one inspiration for what one can do immediately in the Autumn garden, but also for planning for the Winter garden and for next year. And maybe the best thing of all was being able to spend the whole of the weekend in one’s wellies!

Food Horrendous. On holidays in Fermanagh so all reservations have been booked blind. Past reviews only to go by. Drove up to the premises and very impressed with the establishment. Inside a complete contrast. In a state of disorder. Staff Friendly. Horrendous Food. No other words.
