Bella Vita Pizzeria in East Riding of Yorkshire

Absolutely bloody delicious 😋 I got a Mixed grill, the Missus got a Smokey Joe pizza. Both were absolutely delicious and I'm still amazed how much I got for such a reasonable price! It was a walk-in order and the food was ready in reasonable time. Had a laugh with the lady working in there too, nice friendly people.

You were recommended by a colleague- The only place that will easily deliver to our area- great service and amazing pizzas- thank you!

Ordered from here as Motto was closed, we prefer the Greek/turkish style pizzas from Motto which may sway this review somewhat. We only ordered pizzas and chips so can only comment on them, the dough was lovely, almost sourdough in fact but the toppings weren’t great, I ordered the hot feast and apparently it had garlic mayo on it, but in reality it just tasted like a cream cheese thing poured on top, kind of ruined what was already not a great pizza, pepperoni pizzas were ok and daughter kind of enjoyed her margherita, chips were good though and cheap enough 🙂

It’s hard to find decent pizza in UK having moved here from The States, these folks actually do a great job and make a great pizza far as takeaways go! Can confidently say it’s the best takeaway in Pocklington, and as a bonus it’s very reasonably priced. Looking forward to ordering again tonight

Simply great take away pizza. Great quality and value.

Absolutely love Bella Vita. The pizza and chips are always a fantastic combo, and cheap too! Considering the price, you might not get many topics depending on what you order, but you can easily order twice as much for the same price as every other place. I have never had a problem with my orders, always arrives hot, and the order is never wrong despite how weird the combos can be. Honestly all in all its great!

Well packaged and arrived hot, we had lovely pasta and garlic bruschetta. A fresh crispy salad on the side. Disappointed with the mix kebab box 3 small tough pieces of lamb , 2 pieces of dry chicken lots of donner meat. the shish was nice . Over all average/good take out .

First time ordering from Bella Vita. Food was gorgeous. The burgers and pizzas were brilliantly presented. The pizza is clearly made with proper Italian dough methods rather than standard takeaway fare. My only issue is that everything was Piping hot, bar the pizza. It was stone cold by the time it got to mu door. Not even lukewarm. I don't understand how this was possible given a pizza takes minutes to cook. Surely it should have been done last? I reheated it as too hungry to call and complain, but it was a dampner on an otherwise really good takeaway

we ordered late on the 29/7 and the person spoken to on the phone was lovely and the delivery driver was fantastic! We were staying at Allerthorpe golf and country park and instead of us meeting him at the carpark he drove the food all the way to the lodge, I would have tipped if I had cash because he was so friendly and helpful so please pass on my thanks. The food was great! Huge portions, arrived hot and great value for money!

They have done it again I have now had the Hot Shot Wrap Meal & The Calzone So tonight I opted to go with the Spaghetti carbonara & chips!! Wow how good was it? Blooming great is an understatement I’m now going to have a hard time deciding what to order from Bella Vita because I’m spoilt for choice Cannot recommend this take away enough Never been disappointed except on Tuesdays due to they are not open lol

Had a hot shot wrap meal tonight Yes had to wait nearly 20 minutes while they cooked it fresh but that’s a bonus I’d rather wait for it to be cooked fresh than have it instantly with god knows how old fries Staff very friendly and welcoming Value for money it’s awesome As I live in Northampton and am working near Pocklington I will be visiting Bella Vita on a regular basis for the next few months Highly recommend

First time trying and was really impressed kebab meat was the best I’ve had by far would definitely recommend delivery driver was lovely my partner has a bad hand and she brought our delivery over to our pod would give more stars if I could

The best pizza and kebabs in Pocklington by a country mile. Not too hard as the other three places aren’t great. Had the chicken kebab and it was delicious. Pizzas are very good too.

Bella vita restaurant is the best in pocklington by far. When I always go in for a takeaway I get treated with a smile and friendly conversation by benny the owner. Great fresh food cooked while u wait. I would highly recommend Bella vita as I always had great food and freshly cooked to my requirements. Tried others takeaways in the area was highly disappointed. Bella vita is no1 for Me.

Visited here around 9pm at night , lights were off, looked run down and closed. Ordered a pizza and some chips. Chips were really hard, pizza was tasteless. Would not recommend.

Just picked up a Sharing Platter.. Not only was chicken, Lamb, Onion rings and chips delicious.. We (2 of us) had to store a lot of it for another day.. And have a lie down after the feast.. Lol 👍👍

Came to pocklington for a moment ordered and it was banging. We all enjoyed it, the vege pizza had a lovely spice and the garlic bread was brimmingnwith garlic. Great service!

Really happy with our delivery order from Bella Vita this evening. First time ordering from them after being let down by other takeaway places in the area lately. Fantastic takeaway i really enjoyed my food from bella Vita every time I come to this little town the pizzas always fresh very tasty aswell as the burgers ,kebabs and other food in the menu, reasonably priced, the staff very polite and friendly i recommend this takeaway restaurant to everyone.

Good food, especially the cheesy garlic bread

Just got a bbq chicken pizza and it was the worst pizza I’ve ever seen hardly any chicken and literally bbq squirted onto it not even bbq base. Will never be ordering from here again. My boyfriend punched this pizza he was so angry he’s now in the kfc drive through.

Just discovered this place recently and delighted we did. Had a variety of pizzas from here and they were all outstanding. Fresh and tasty. Good value too. Much better fayre than offered by the other outlets in Pocklington, Highly recommend this place for pizza. Haven't tried any of their other dishes.

This was our second visit and both times the food was amazing. So fresh, tasty and great value. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Its definitely become our favourite takeaway and that's no mean feat when my hubby doesnt usually enjoy pizza or Italian food. Definitely deserves a 5* review.

Bella vita got fresh and homely atmosphere like it food and Menu and u always feel welcome here when u come to get food. I will always use bella vita for my takeaways 100% facts. Best in pocklington so come by and try this freshly cooked food and u won't be disappointed.

Excellent food staff and service

Had a lovely 16" Alabama chicken and mushroom pizza, chips and two pots of garlic sauce, it was delicious and a bargain, only problem was the very busy lovely man forgot the season salt on the chips. But all in all brilliant and we'll definitely be going back to sample more. Thankyou x

Staying at kp lodges and was recommended this takeaway.It was cheap and came very quick but wasnt our cup of tea!Chips were nice, we are from hull so lacked seasoning but heyho!The pizza seemed dry and tasted funny and the donner meat was way to thick cut. Didnt even attempt to try it.If you arent a fussy eater, itll be good for you.

We have just ordered food for 9 people at £80 including delivery, and oh my goodness, so much food!!!!! We had a selection of pizzas, calzones, lasagnes and they were all humongous and delicious. It was such good value for the quantity and quality of food. It's a shame we're not local as we'd definitely be going back for more...

Ordered a garlic bread... got bread no garlic even looked at it.

Elegimos una variedad de pizzas y lados, pero nada a destacar a ser increíble! Simplemente bien. Si nos quedamos aquí sin orden de comida para llevar. Lo siento.

Era una noche ventosa inviernos cuando me encontré con Bella Vita. . . La comida era excelente, así como los empleados que eran preciosas y encantadoras. Especialmente el uno con el vello facial, ojos verdes con biblioteca de pared. Si mal no recuerdo fue llamado misterioso sexy T.

He estado en todos los lugares alrededor de pock y este lugar sinceramente el servicio más rápido, comunicación fantástico cuando ordene por teléfono y durante los últimos 3 años y ningún problema. El personal es estupendo y muy amable y la relación calidad-precio! Intenté pock pizzas, decepcionados con la comida fría y Frank con personal terrible!

Just to warn anyone out there that what an experience this was waited nearly two hours rang up twice only to be told the driver was delayed, the food arrived still charged full price and to add insult to injury it was clap cold , phoned up to complain only to get some young girl that could only say YES I'll get the owner to ring you!still waiting to all out there please avoid this place total nightmare......

I went into bella vita today and was served by benny the owner I asked for a chicken parmesan and it was cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely delicious the last review basically saying the chicken parmesan was two chicken burger was false and incorrect I know that bella vita cook with fresh chicken breast with a tomato sauce with parmesan cheese. As for bella vita they cook to the customer satisfaction and never cheat anyone I highly recommend bella vita for your takeaway. I also included pictures of the REAL parmesan chicken and chips and salad all cooked freshly on the premises as you wait. I highly recommend bella vita for pizza and pasta and burgers in pocklington.

I went into bella vita today served with a smile and I ordered a deluxe burger very tasty cooked to perfection very yummy and I was very satisfied with my food also I noticed that bella vita got a five star rating from ERYC score on the door so I will stick with bella vita always service with a smile.. keep up the good work benny.

Ordered a chicken parmesan from them feeling really hungry, was delivered pretty quickly. Was horrified to have this turn up (see picture with sauce scrapped off)Now I've had parmos from all over the north east and this is by far the biggest lie I've ever been sold! A chicken parmo isn't two chicken burgers cooked, placed in a tray covered in white sauce with a tiny amount of cheese! Ate two bites and it went straight into the bin. HORRIFIED! I just came to visit my family and we decided to order a takeaway from Bella vita. When we got there the first thing i could see one of the pizza chefs swinging the pizza dough in the air to get it into shape, I've never seen this before in-front of my eyes, he was so fast I was speechless. My mum ordered 3 pizzas and 2 wraps and polo dicasa which was a italian salad, after 15 min all the food was done and nicely packed away for us.It was freshly done and freshly backed on stone oven,in my own town where im from I have never seen pizzas made like that normally when I order from my hometown the pizzas are usually soggy and doughy.I LOVE THOSE PIZZAS I HAD IN BELLA VITA, I WOULD CERTAINLY ORDER AGAIN. The best place I have found for wraps in the Pocklington area and the staff are a fabulous laught and easy to get along with. Only been in two times and already love the place.

Great food great service, just like walking into a family of a family. In the town of Pocklington beats any takeaway in the town and do beautiful deep Italian pizzas with all the toppings.

I went into bella vita today and had a golden grill 12 inch pizza mega delicious cooked to perfection and very tasty would highly recommend here for a takeaway.

I ordered loads of different pizzas, nuggets and chips for over 70 children. Food arrived on time, hot and loads of it. The kids loved it, there was nothing left and it only cost £110.The manager couldn't have been more helpful

Me and my partner order from here at weekends as we both are too shattered to cook. Delivery drivers are extremely polite so my partner always tips them. The staff at the shop are extremely polite. Pizza tastes amazing, I have the Smokey Joe pizza. My partner orders the Meat feast, and says that pizza is amazing. Staff has messed up 1 order in the 3 months we have used them. Everyone is human, everyone makes mistakes so we didn't mind that much.

We visited here as was staying close by at The KP in September I will admit, it was a struggle finding the exact opening times as at the time, they didnt have a website or facebook page, we just took pot luck and hoped they would be open. Luckily they were, the food was amazing, the service was great. Very attentive and really appreciated the chef taking my requirements into consideration. Great value for money, thoroughly recommend. Did mention to our server about the lack of info on the restaurant as I am sure their trade would increase immensely if they did. All in all a great visit and if ever in the area again would recommend.

Ordered a pizza and chips. The pizza was horrible and made me feel physically sick. I had to bin half of it. I ordered a meat feast......cheap nasty toppings and a brown paste like substance which I couldn't even say what it was and it tasty vile. This is the 2nd time I've been to Bella Vita and the food has been horrible both times. Will not be going again!

They use a proper stonebaked oven and make the pizza bases fresh themselves, so a good solid foundation. Unfortunately a lot of the toppings a terribly cheap/low quality. The cheese is horrid cheap pre-grated stuff and the meat toppings seem to come out of catering size bags of frozen wholesale stuff. Quality fare this is not.Service can be very slow when busy on a weekend, up to an hour wait.

Basically it's not pizza. Just some dough with raw onions and tomatoes. Took 50 min and rude staff. Just horrible. You are better off buying a pizza from the local co-op.

We ordered pizzas to be delivered to our village of Sutton on Derwent at a specific time. Pizzas arrived on time and still piping hot! Great tasting too. Great fun ordering over the phone as whoever took the order had a good sense of humour! It's hard to get takeaway delivered to the village so we will be back!

Very helpful staff and great Pizza. Even near closing time the staff member was very very helpful. He was closing up and offered to start up again.

Was a nice portion size for the price! However could maybe add whether the food is spicy or not... The pepperoni on my wrap was a little spicy and ruined my meal unfortunately. However would order again just not the same meal!

Agree with the last reviewer. Ordered by telephone, took over an hour to arrive. When I called them I got the impression they had forgotten, when pizza arrived it had obviously been thrown together in a hurry and was semi-cooked. Attitude on phone was couldn't-care-less. Food is average, bordering on pretty awful - go to Frank's.

We ordered from Bella Vita last night and had a pretty average takeaway experience.The time taken to prepare and deliver the food totaled to over 50 minutes, which was disappointing considering we're located in Pocklington too. Once the food did arrive, it was also getting cold.The pizzas were decent but the rest of the order (mozzarella sticks, chips and kebabs) were of average quality.We would order from here again, but would probably try other places before coming back.

Nice place to get pizza , it's your average takeaway! I like getting a pizza and when I have been in the staff are friendly but it can take quite a long time for the food to come sometimes!which lets it down a little

Great food and cheap too, pasta dishes could be better but pizzas burgers and salads all good.
