Bejoy Tandoori in Haringey

We often go there in person to order takeaway, the staff there are so lovely and sweet. They give us poppadom while we wait. We come in instead of ordering online to see their lovely faces! Food is amazing of course, lots to choose from.

Order this afternoon via just eat. I ordered starter tandoori chicken, lamb and sheek kebab. The tandoori chicken was fine but the bad smell from the sheek was absolutely horrid. It was clearly bad and discoloured which was disguised with onions and corriander aswell as the lamb tandoori, which was not fresh and again disguised with tandoori paste and onions.

A absolutely gem, absolutely beautiful food, lovely staff & beautiful welcoming atmosphere.

A very warm and welcoming atmosphere - treated to delicious food. Meat very tender, fresh sauces and just so tasty! A favourite curry house for me! Excellent service for a large group of us too.

2nd food delivery from Bejoy. Food is very well flavoured, Lamb Shank was amazing. Tandoori chicken cooked perfectly. Have definitely found the best Indian food in N London. And it arrived hot even though the driver got lost, but food this good is worth waiting for.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was lovely and very filling. If I was to come again I would order less rice as the portions are huge! But overall it was a great restaurant and would recommend.

Unassuming clean environment and decor which can be deceptive until you taste the delicious food and very warm and genuine service. A lovely gem in the bounds green area which will have us coming for more.

I'd placed an order early in the evening for delivery at a later time. Somehow they missed that and delivered it early! But it was ok they said, they took it away and delivered a fresh order at the right time with a smile. The food, as always, was superb. Thank you Bejoy.

This is a HyGIENE ALERT! I would have like to be aware before being consuming from this restaurant for the past 8, 9 months. Honestly have to say mostly enjoyed the food from here but last time When arriving at the restaurant to collect my order to my deep disgust was one of the cook washing his feet into the dishes sink in the kitchen relaxed and with a smile in his face. I waited to be served after secs somebody came and not believing I asked “ is that gentleman washing his feet in the sink?” With no embarrassment or shame he smiled at me and did confirmed. I mean, have no words for such action….This absolutely disgusting and disrespectful. Needless to say the food has been bathroom away and Each time this memory comes up a strong feeling to vomit comes with it. No, it’s not a place to recommend but to be reported to food and hygiene compliance authorities.

Lovely people, good friendly service, great food, excellent quality. Cannot complain. Portions are good, salad is excellent and everything just tastes fresh and clean. So glad this is my local, perfect for dining in, delivery or collection.

Amazing food and great service!

I went in with zero expectations and left with immense joy! One of the best Indian foods I have tasted. The mixed grill was out of this world, every bite was full of flavour and the biriyani was the star of the show. Every pilau rice was packed with a punch of flavour and it hit every right note you’d expect. It has been couple of days since I visited but the taste still lingers in my mouth.

The food was great and the staffs were very kind. I wish to visit here again whenever I visit Bounds Green.

We used to eat at Bejoys regularly since around 2004 but it changed hands around 10 years ago and I thought it went down hill after that. Tonight me and my wife popped in looking to get a carry out but decided to eat in, and see if it had improved. The guy who took the orders was very friendly and accomodating. We ordered just mains and a couple of veg sides along with 2 chapatis. The curries were very tasty, with no oil visible. Very happy with what we had and at a decent price. I'm very happy as we will return again and once again make it our go to Bangladeshi restaurant, just like the old days. BYO so bring your own drinks if you like as well. 9/10

Our local Indian "Bejoy", our one stop shop for quality Indian food at affordable price with excellent service being the icing on the cake, whether it be take away or eat in. We also repeatly look to "Bejoy" to cater for our guests as it is literally "home away from home" with management and staff seeing to our individual and group needs. It gives me great pleasure to show some of the snaps of my partner's 50th birthday bash celebrated in Bejoy last night. (Needless to say the decoration were seen to by the staff -leaving us free to just enjoy partying).

The staff are exceptionally well mannered and professional. I really enjoyed my visit at Bejoy Tandoori! I would highly recommend anyone to visit the restaurant and have the great hospitality north London has on offer.

Bejoy is excellent, customer service is top, I've been to other Indian restaurants, but this one is like no other, the lamb jalfrezi is neatly prepared and the king prawn sag was electrifying, plain rice was the most fresh rice I've tried ever, definitely one of the best in north london if not london. My friend decided to try it and liked it a lot, he said he will definitely come back to the place, I am definitely visiting bejoy againwell worth it and best quality.

This is a pleasant small Bangladeshi restaurant not far from Bounds Green tube. My friend and I went on a Tuesday evening and were the only ones there. The food is good without being special. The popadoms were crisp and fresh and served with the usual pickles. The prawn Puri was good. I tried the special curry with Bangladeshi citrus fruit and found it pleasantly flavoured. The Dal was a bit insipid and the Bombay aloo and naan fine. There is a range of frozen desserts. The mint one was ok. Service was efficient and friendly. Unfortunately, the place isn't licensed, so I had nothing more exciting than sparkling water to drink, though my friend enjoyed his fruit lassi.

The dhal wasn't great. We had chicken tikka & chicken chaat for starters. Which were decent. For mains, we had pilau & standard rice, with king prawn sizzler & lamb ceylon, along with dhal. Everything was to standard, but the dhal was a letdown.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food was 5 star. Incredibly fresh and tasty. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend.

The best Bengali tandoori restaurant in North London area, we have tried it many times before the lockdown, staff is always great and the restaurant it's clean. The portions were always generous and super tasty. Recently because of the lockdown we tried first with take away and then with the amazing home delivery. Food is always piping hot, full of flavours and the portions are always generous, with a very wide variety of choices vegetarian and non. Lovely spicy chicken biryani or the delicate dishes like the Tarka dhaal and the brinjal bhaji are a must to try.

Delicious food. Had a lovely meal eating in (back when we could) but also enjoy ordering a takeaway from here. One of our favourites is the vegetarian platter - extremely valuable for money and tasty.

Favourite curry in north London! We ordered on Christmas Eve and had exceptional service which made Xmas better! Asked for a Ceylon with king prawns which wasn’t on the menu but wasn’t a problem for them at all, they just adapted. Also took a request for an extra hot madras. Generous portion and good prices. Loads of flavour and heat, if you want it! Will definitely be ordering again, thanks guys

Wow where should I start the place has great ambience, good appropriate music, and a really beautiful interior. The waiter Zia was excellent I couldn't ask for more I tried a meal that he recommended to me. The food was really delicious and piping hot the chef has been working there for 20 years so he knows his stuff. The dessert was tasty too. Honestly I didn't expect everything to be good nothing is perfect right but I'm glad my expectations were met and then some. I will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu. Best Indian restaurant in North London.

We had another delicious meal from Bejoy on Saturday. I think the food is now more vibrant with just the right amount of spice for me. The Rogan dishes in particular have a lovely ginger zing and are so tender. My newly discovered favourite is the Paneer tikka masala 😋 Order extra as leftovers reheat beautifully in the oven. The staff are so friendly- Bejoy is a much needed local restaurant which we need to support! 👍

The best Indian in the area. Dishes are tasty, if you like the spicier dishes these are certainly hot!! Love the garlic naan and garlic rice. Mixed starter is a great value dish. They usually pop in all the usual extras (dips, raita, poppadoms, mango chutney etc) and delivery is super fast. Highly recommended. I'm just about to order one now 😁 Thanks Bejoy (one small request - could you add Chana Puri to your menu? Really hard to find and its a yummy side dish)

Me and my partner usually order from our regular takeaway in Palmers green but we thought we would try Bejoy as it's more near to where we live. I wish we didn't. Food was absolutely disgusting. We ordered two mains that consisted of prawns but they both tasted similar, the jalfrezi was shocking, no spice at all obviously they used the same for every other dish and adjust it slightly. Also portions small for what we paid. Dinner tonight ruined! Would not recommend this place at all.

I honestly don't know where the higher starred reviews are coming from here. But my experience, was not great... Ordered a butter chicken curry - I was given a chicken korma and told that this was a butter chicken curry?! I'm not sure when a butter chicken curry started having coconut in it (I even googled the recipe to show the waiter), maybe I missed that memo. The food is average, there are many more Indian restaurants in the surrounding areas that are much better unfortunately for Bejoy.

Got a takeaway from Bejoy tonight and was so tasty. Delivery from the nicest driver with a huge smile...Have never had a better Tikka Masala in my life. We ordered chicken korma and Bombay potatoes and they were equally as delicious. Thank you Bejoy for an amazing meal.

You've gotta try this place absolutely delicious. We strolled in at 6pm and wasn't too busy we was served in good time and waiter was attentive. We ordered lamb biryani, garlic nan a mixed grill which was also came with a plain nan, south Indian garlic chicken and lamb chilli masala. They offer takeout too and also a delivery service. Will definitely visit again. Clean and modern vibe. Toilet was spotless too😁.

Is by far the best tasting Asian food i have bought anywhere in London. Love the place, the food and service is great, very friendly staff. Definitely Will be eating here again. Guys you will not be disappointed if you want good quality homemade tasting food this Is the place to go.

inconsistent Takeaway the food from bejoy was very tasty the first time. the Paneer was creamy and sweet, the narn was perfect being soft to the touch and a good accompaniment to the lamb Dansak we ordered. however the second time I ordered was a massive disappointment. the chicken looked like it had been pumped full of water it had become fish. the sauce was good but it did not redeem the food. the lamb with cashew had no cashew but had peanuts. It was a horrible experience. I am not sure if I will try it again.
