I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for 10 years, but over the past two years, the food quality has declined drastically. I ordered from them again a few days ago, and I was absolutely appalled. I got three different stews, and all of them were watery, completely flavourless, and lacked even the slightest hint of salt. The kebab and chicken were rock-hard, tasteless, and undercooked. On top of that, the portion sizes have shrunk significantly while the quality has nosedived. My total bill came to £90, and I felt completely scammed. At first, I wanted to believe that maybe just one dish was bad and give them the benefit of doubt, but no—every single item I ordered was awful. This restaurant has become nothing but a scam. I would strongly advise people to avoid it at all costs. Customers work hard for their money, and this is what they’re being served? If you’re going to raise prices, at least maintain the food quality. At this rate, the place deserves to be shut down.

Horrible experience. Had plastic in my food. Staff got my order wrong. When asked about plastic they said sorry this soup was a plastic in microwave hence why it has bit of plastic. Will not go there again

This restaurant is arguably the best Persian restaurant, both in and around London. I don’t have to advocate for that too much seeing as they are full of customers everyday. I have been coming here for over 10 years and the food has always been top tier. Not once have I personally had a bad experience or any inconsistency in taste. The decor is just stunning, with gems of Persia all around the walls and hanging from the ceilings. They are busy so it may take some time for your food to arrive but I would say that the wait is worth it.

As a lover of Persian food, having tried Molana, Persian Palace, Berenjak, and Boof, I can confidently say this is the worst Persian restaurant we have ever visited. Even though we had a booking, we had to wait 40 mins to be seated. The service is appalling, the waiter was huffing and puffing as he was taking our order. The manager is rude and was giving the staff a hard time. We had to continuously ask for things, like cutlery, food, the bill. The restaurant is very poorly managed. The food was average, absolutely nothing special about it. The chicken was very chewy and the soup was not edible. The tables and chairs are not fit for purpose, it is hard wood with small rugs on them. No cushioning or comfort, and the seats are all cramped together. You can’t sit for more than 15 mins without your back starting to ache. All in all, I would not recommend Behesht. Although the restaurant is decorated really nice with beautiful frames and pieces dotted around. However, they should focus more on their food quality and friendliness.

My elder brother showed me this place and since after me and my family became a big big fan of kobideh and joje kebab. Extremely juicy and always love to be around if in London specially. Miss you Behesht.

I was tired and starving after work and decided to order food from this place. When I called, they told me to order through Deliveroo. I placed my order and waited for 1.5 hours, only for them to cancel it at 12:30 AM. This was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this place – zero stars from me! 1 food + salad 27 pounds !!!!

Interior design is the best in London. We were greeted with respect and directed to our table. Staff and waiters are attentive and helpful. Their help and communication are very much appreciated. We will surely go back and enjoy our Baghali Polo Ba Mahiche.

I ordered Baghali Polo, but unfortunately, it wasn’t good at all. There was plenty of meat, but it wasn’t like a proper stew—it felt more like plain broth. It lacked flavor, and even the taste of the meat was ruined. This was my first experience, but I didn’t like it. Hope it get better next time

Been visiting the restaurant since 2007, and food is always great. However service levels have decline. What I don’t agree & feel restaurant management seems like a joke when they are putting 15% service charge yet quite obnoxiously expecting customers to tip on top.

I came here a lot over the years and was happy with the food and service, but my last visit the service was terrible, there was a power cut and originally we were sat in a room with light but then the staff kicked us out, and made us sit in a dark room in the dark despite me trying to explain that I get a lot of strain in my eyes,

Food was nice but it's the service that let's the place down. The waiters make you feel like you're troubling them when you call them over and ask them for help.

I came to Behesht restaurant about 6 months ago with my dad and one of his friends after the embassy and I liked the food here a lot. The decor of my restaurant was very beautiful. I will definitely come here whenever I come to London again

Behesht restaurant always fascinates me and my family also friends. We are its customers for over 15 years in a row this mean atleast once every month, last week we had our office dinner and it was fantastic.

It was very loud, the food quality was poor, and the service was lacking. However, it was cheap compared to other places I dinned. If you prioritised quantity over quality, you would be a happy customer.

My partner went there on the 10th Dec, taking her colleagues for a Christmas dinner. Food was ok but the waiter refused to provide tap water for the table, which i believe is a legal requirement. When ordering the bill she was presented another tables bill, for £26 more. When we queried it, the waiter was dismissive, but when he went to check came back with a different bill. There was no apology. There are plenty of good restaurants in Harlesden, so I will never eat here again!!!!

First time visiting . We saw it on Tiktok, so we had to give it a go. Nice family atmosphere, very traditional. Most people in there were ordering the £45.00 platter . We had this between 3 of us, and we were super stuffed . Nice place to check out .

Standard Iranian food. Great prices

I recently visited Behesht for what I had hoped would be a pleasant dining experience, but I was left incredibly disappointed by the service and quality of the food. Having dined here since I was young without any problems, this visit was a shocking departure from the standard I had come to expect. First, the service was terrible. We ordered tabbouleh, but the wrong dish was brought out the dish listed below. When we pointed out the mistake, the staff made us feel as though it was our fault. After waiting, they brought another incorrect dish this time the one listed above tabbouleh on the menu. It took a third attempt, and an explanation directly to the chef, before we finally received what we had originally ordered. This ongoing confusion left us frustrated and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, we had ordered two naan, but only one was brought to the table. Additionally, the tadig, which is usually light and crispy, was thick, tough, and overly crunchy so much so that my best friend choked on it. The whole ordeal was particularly upsetting as it was her birthday and her first time trying Persian food. By this point, the experience had soured so much that we decided to get most of the meal as takeaway, feeling too uneasy to enjoy it there. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. When I got home and tried the salad Olivieh, I found bones and chunks of fat in it. This was shocking and completely off-putting. I hoped this might have been an isolated incident, but a family member told me they had a similar experience just a week ago, which suggests it could be a result of new staff issues. Overall, this visit was a huge disappointment. Behesht has always been a reliable choice for me in the past, but the poor service, lack of care, and decline in food quality were unacceptable. I sincerely hope this feedback leads to improvements, but for now, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Left my rings in its bathroom, called as soon as realised as I had left the restaurant by then. Spoke to a manager, who was shockingly impolite(!?) when I asked if by any chance it had been handed in. I was extremely courteous and respectful with my comms but appalled by the manager’s unpleasant attitude. Basic civility and respect to each other should be mandatory. Please ensure to take care of your personal items and belongings.

Nice spot for meet up with colleagues; good food, good service nothing to complain about. Had a koobidieh and the plate looked the same as it did 15years ago just the change in price which is still reasonable for the portion sizes.

I think reception’s manager just came from Iran and doesn’t know how to welcome customers. I have been there once and I borrowed a power bank from them, when i was leaving I left it on table and he asked me if I hide the power bank in my pocket wich is very rude. I will never go there again.

I am giving them 5 stars solely because, unfortunately, they are currently the only Persian restaurant in London that deserves this rating. Their quality can vary from time to time, but overall, it is still better than other Persian restaurants in London.

Take away order have eaten there before - person on desk made us wait about 15 minutes to pick it up- when it was ready on the table. Served 3 people who came in after us before dealing with us. When we eat in service is normally very good. Food is still good but wasn’t warm by the time we got it home.

I have been eating here for many many years never again! I chose Khoresh with eggplant and lamb . Soon as it was served it looked like soup not thick at all . Had a very thick slice of eggplant and only two pieces of lamb . I called the waiter and asked to change it . He then called the manager and asked me what is the problem and I politely asked if I could change because it look likes soup he refused He explained it’s not hygienic to return to the kitchen i said I have not touched it . He still refused and said take it home as a takeaway and order another meal but you won’t get a refund . Only five minutes before that my husband changed his sabzi polo rice to plain white basmati rice which was aloud . The quality of food has gone down massively even the white basmati rice is overcooked and totally tasteless , the khouresh with eggplant did not have the rich tomotoe sauce it should be , it looked like it was sitting in soup very watery . No more I will never return again To the manager who refused to change my dish is obviously not a good manager and not looking after his customers haly bad shood ! You are loosing more customers that’s why the restaurant was practically empty This restaurant use to be so so busy but not anymore.

Loved the vibe of this place. It was very traditional Persian and felt like being transported in a different realm, with the cozy decor and ambiance. Food was very good. Loved the baba ganoush and kababs. Service was good and friendly. Portion size was very generous

I've always wanted to try the food here...today was the first time and it did not disappoint! Beautifully cooked dishes. Extremely tasty and flavourful. Light and cleaning eating. I will definitely return in the near future!

I regret coming to these absolute scammers! First of all, i was so thirsty and when i asked for tap water they said they dont serve it so i had to buy a big glass bottle for £6! This made me furious and when the food came, i was dissapointed. The lamb had no flavour, the chicken was unedible, as hard as a rock, and the rice felt like it was uncooked. Going back to beverages, they charged me £3 for a minature coca cola can and i tried to stand up but i was blocked by the surronding tables. The service was very poor and the price was £46 without service fee. I also politely asked if they can remove the service charge but the horrible manager just kicked me out nearly pushing me out of the store. I recommend to never come here. (The service charge was almost £30!)

I thought this place changed and getting better, until this evening. After we eat the food, manager came to us and asking to leave because people are waiting outside. I don't want to eat food and ran , I want to sit down for 5 min to relax like normal human being. I found it very disrespectful to see this place is turning to same old horrible place use to be. They don't care about us, they only care about money. I won't go there anymore and I advise anyone to choose the different restaurant if you don't want to get disrespectful attention specially from manager.

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years, but last night will be our final visit. The food's flavor has noticeably declined—it's as if they've changed the chef or the recipes. To top it off, there was no greeting when we arrived or goodbye when we left, which felt disappointing.

Massoud (the manager) made it a terrible experience. I asked to remove the service charge as the food took a long time and I was made to pay for drinks I didn’t need and he RUDELY refused. He could’ve been polite but instead he chose a violent attitude.

We were here for my son’s birthday - a table of ten and we had great food and excellent mock tails and superb service from Moin. He was so patient and helpful. We haven’t been for a long time and it is still very atmospheric! The sabzi is super fresh and delicious.

This is a late review but loved this place. Mu Mum goes quite often but i only went once. The food is authentic and great. I ordered kashk bademjan, panir sabzi and koobideh - could fault anything- the bread was delish, food was great, seevice was quick and loved the iranian decor 💙💙💙

What a gem for Persian food in London. We visited on the weekend for lunch, no pre-bookiing required but little difficult to find parking. Service is excellent and staff are friendly. The food is amazing and definitely the best Persian food I had in London. We ordered a couple of starters and kebab for main dishes. The portions are huge but it's hard to stop eating! Definitely recommend

Decent food but could be better. Food came luke warm and by the time it was time to eat, it felt cold. I have been here a couple of times before and it was definitely better those times. Not sure what happened this time and it wasn’t that busy either. We went in as 3 families and even the naan that came, was just warm by the time it came. Big Note: Service charge is added by default and you HAVE to pay for it unless you find something wrong with the service/food. It’s NOT discretionary so please know this from before when you step into this restaurant. Overall ok experience.

We visited Behesht after a few years. Food taste was good but the service level was extremely poor. No baby chairs (we had two infants and it was hard to keep them on the chair/in lap whilst eating). Rude manager and staff and it was even surprising that the manager was rude to his own staff when one of them questioned the service charge on our behalf. ANYTHING WRONG? The manager asked and then referred us to the menu where it says service charge will be added to the bill no matter what. Not something we have come across. Overall Food and atmosphere is okay but staff need be more friendly- a smile goes a long way!

I usually love this restaurant. We did have a bad experience when we had a takeaway on Eid earlier this year. We put it down to the restaurant maybe being too busy on the holiday and lockdown still in force. The food had been mediocre at best and the Salad Oliveh had been off. So I went again last week, it was during the week and it was a Wednesday, didn't think there would be a rush and I would get good service. Ordered the food and had to wait 40 mins before the food was ready. Mentioned to the guy whilst I was waiting about the Salah Oliveh and how it was off when we had it last time. (we had ordered two portions as we had guests) You can imagine our embarassment when the guests told us the Salad Oliveh was off and we had been singing the restaurants praises. Anyway was expecting better things this time. Got the food home and I couldn't believe it the Salah Oliveh was off again! I think they make it the night before and if they don't sell on the same day they pass them off in the takeaways the next day. This has now happened twice, also the Chello Kebab Koubideh isn't off the quality it used to be. I have been eating in the restaurant for years maybe 10 years now. I have held parties there over the years and had countless takeaways. But this restaurant and the quality of the food has definitely gone down in my opinion and I will not be getting takeaway again. I will have to attend in person so as to make sure I am getting freshly cooked food.

There are very respectful and polite staff there and they have very delicious food

Came to this restaurant with my friend after a long time. It was a big let down. Firstly there was a cue of 30 people waiting to be seated and after waiting more than 25mins no body was managing this cue as I saw people leave the restaurant. Secondly after being sat down the waiter did not return. I had to therefore approach another waiter who were cleaning the tables to place the order. This staff member flung the plates on the table with our food and was ignoring me while rudely walking away! I wanted to let him know that nan bread was part of the order and was missing. I then had to call out a third person for the nan. The meal was not satisfactory as the salad they gave me in the plate was like giving someone charity. It was not enough and I also did request extra cabbage. Additionally you closed the lights of the room while I was eating so as to let someone cut cakes for their birthday. I expect a better level of service and you should talk to your waiters and find out if any of them do not want to work there. I had the intention to have good food and good service and then I would of left a very generous tip as I always have done in the past. I don't accept discrimination especially if I was kind. I will not be returning

We eat here maybe twice a year as it's quite out the way from where I live. I see alot of people commenting about the service charge and I dont care, my advice to them is to not eat out if you cant afford it, no one forced you to eat there and you obviously visited because you like the food. It's an upmarket Persian Restaurant that serves quality food and decent portions, I pay around £80 for four people to eat, including drinks, 99% of the time I am taking food home as there are leftovers. The Lamb Kobeidah is really well cooked and the meat quality is of an exceptional standard, I also get the Special Chicken, whic is marinated chunks of Chicken Breast and it is cooked to perfection, really juicy and succulent Chicken that just melts in the mouth. While the drinks are expensive, it's a worthy treat as the food is consistently at a high standard (never had food from them that we had to send back) Also, grab a baba ghanoush (we call it Noush) it's a great representation of a classic Persian dish... Finally, their Naan bread is on the large side and freshly made to order. We always grab a few extra to take home, and they last a couple of days where you can bang em in the micro and have some leftovers with the bread. 10/10 on customer service our server was polite and friendly, on this trip we realised we were a bread short, one hand raised the waiter came over and brought us the missing naan in seconds... If you are looking for top Quality Persian food, this is the place for you. If you want budget food, go else where. If you want a debate on "service charges" go on reddit...

This makes it easy to enjoy a delicious meal at Behesht without the hassle of searching for parking.

Service was quite poor. I was choking and had to ask for water 5 times. My colleagues were quite concerned too.

We came here to eat for my birthday the food, atmosphere & service was outstanding. The portions were massive and the food tasted really good. 10/10 service and beautiful atmosphere . Would eat it here again and definitely 100% recommend

If it were possible to give more than one review, I would definitely praise it a hundred times more. It's great, and the price is very good with a large amount of food, and they are happy to deliver with a smile and serve food. I am happy that they are business literate.

The atmosphere was so missable . The chicken was uncooked and absolutely no taste , what’s the shame . The service was so rubbish , there wasn’t any minimum like salt or pepper on the table . Whatever we need it , we had to ask many times without no responses. All staff they were so roud with bad attitudes. Not recommended it to anyone . Never ever come back 🤢🤢🤢🤢

I found this restaurants staff ignorant and rude.We asked repeatedly for condiments like lemon,pepper and salt which took lots of time to get for us.the food was undercooked, no flavour which made it a bland dish.when we complained to the manager he took no responsibility of the staff’s actions.and the manager was very unprofessional and unpleasant and multiple times told us to not complain in front of the other customers.do not come here I highly don’t recommend this place 🤮🙃😕🙁😢

Went to the restaurant today to celebrate a birthday. We have been here many times but today’s experience has let us down horribly. My sister ordered a drink and when it arrived, one taste and it was utterly horrible. We called the manager over and asked for the drink to be swapped with another one as we did not like it. As we are paying for the drink it makes sense for them to change it. The manager then responded that if he changes it for us he will he will have to change it for everyone. We found this utterly rude. We will never ben returning and will stop recommending this place. PS- the manager also mentioned that this overpriced drink comes out of a machine and is not even homemade. Very sad

Went in for a 4 person platter as a pair. Absolutely destroyed us mentally and physically. Was phenomenal, but I can't currently walk. Highly recommend and will return in the future, assuming I can fit through the front door. Big up Nesar, absolute unit.
