Behesht is an absolute delight! The food is spot on, full of vibrant, rich flavours, with everything from juicy kebabs to fragrant rice cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is lovely too, with a warm and cosy vibe that feels both traditional and modern. Service is friendly and attentive, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal or special occasion. Highly recommend if you're after some top-notch Persian food!

The hygiene level is disgusting. Imagine finding hair in one food and a bug alive in the other food. I have been a loyal customer and I’ve loved having food there however when my friend found a bug (alive) on her plate, they replaced her food but not mine which had a hair and they denied it. Like no accountability whatsoever and I have personally introduced this restaurant to so many of my friends. Never again. Very disappointing. Imagine going from work to eat food on an empty stomach to finding hair and bugs in both mine and my friend food. I will inform everyone on this incident, I personally will not be eating food there and would rather prefer Kish restaurant. At least kish food is hairless and bugles.

Kabab Makhsoos (Barg, Koobideh) was nice and juicy 💦 one of the stews we tried was just too greasy🛢️🫤 overall a good experience and a good atmosphere 👏🏻

Excellent and authentic Persian restaurant! We came back after 10 years and it did not disappoint. Masud, the owner of the restaurant, was very welcoming and nice with us. Highly recommended!

Possibly the worst Persian restaurant I’ve been to spent nearly £200 and the most bland meat platters, dry nan and dry tasteless rice. Waiters had attitude and customer service was non existent. Would definitely not recommend this place.

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times. Had it not been for food I may not have returned because the service is quite pathetic. The waiters didn't serve any plates or glasses, we had to ask for it. There was no coherence and the waiters delivered food in wrong sequence. With a 10% obligatory service charge it is quite putting off. The only positive is that the food tastes nice although in some cases chicken was undercooked.

Would give no stars if I could. Had an absolutely deplorable experience, waited 2 hours in the queue despite having a booking reservation. Rubbish communication and organisation by the manager- who also lacks manners as we were told to leave. Staff were also incompetent and were avoiding answering our questions. Would not recommend going there based off this experience.

Disappointing experience with the service. I waited for an hour and a half to be seated, only to leave in frustration without ever being accommodated. Completely wasted my time.

Waited 2 hours and they still haven’t let us in and a few family’s also left before us because of how long we had to wait and also the manager was speaking very aggressively to my dad and horrible management and got my clothes dirty because he spilt food on me ( by accident)

Their food is the best. Their atmosphere is amazing. However on Eid 2025, I am really sorry to say and please forgive me but I drove 18 miles one way to be told to join a queue of walk-in people and wait for 2.5/3 hours. Unfortunately, I had to leave. I will come back again, but there were families, children and people waiting to just grab a table and only sadly one person was managing the queue and list. I just hope no else opens a restaurant like them, because I dont want to break my loyalty with this place. Management @ Behesht please take note and organise this better. You really have a high profile to maintain. Thanks

Disgraceful experience, waited 2 hours in the ‘walk in cue’ where at least 50 people before us had walked out. Extremely poor communication and organisation by the manager who was clearly overwhelmed.

Rubbish management I had waited over 2 hours in the queue and one of the staff had spoken to me in a rude manner.

We visited for the first time and we loved the food. The atmosphere is amazing.

Love this place always come here for Ramadan to break my fast. Food portions are very generous and worth the price. I would recommend booking as this place is always busy.

My family have been coming here for years and Behesht has only improved. The food is so tasty, and no Persian restaurant can make buttery rice better than Behesht. They have good portions and prices are not bad. My go-to is always chelo kebab koobideh because it’s always well seasoned, grilled and succulent. Every time I introduce a friend to Persian food, I always take them to Behesht and they love it so much that they want to go again! The decor is so beautiful and traditional. I love how they incorporate Shia and Persian decor since most Iranian restaurants here are either afraid of or resent any link to Islam. Behesht is so authentic and it makes me feel like I’m in Iran with the beautiful waterfall sounds and traditional music/decor. The service is always good and the staff are so helpful and nice. I have never had any issue with Behesht and this has been my favourite restaurant since childhood.

It’s my restaurant so it’s is good, but my son thinks it is exceptional in every category even though I have not told him the owners rent this place of me and they made it into a restaurant.

Behesht restaurant always fascinates me and my family also friends. We are its customers for over 15 years in a row this mean atleast once every month, last week we had our office dinner and it was fantastic.

This restaurant serves the worst and lowest-quality Iranian food. Do not trust it at all because the food is extremely poor in quality. Don’t ruin your day by going to this low-quality restaurant. I’m sorry to see that they offer delicious Iranian cuisine at such a terrible standard.

Our second visit to this remarkable restaurant has left us more than satisfied with the overall dining experience. The food quality is truly outstanding, with delectable Kebabs (Koobideh and Barg) that are simply sensational. The Ashe-reshte appetizer boasted an authentic flavor that was a delight to savor. To top it off, the tea pot and Baklava dessert proved to be the perfect finale to our meal. The professionalism and respectfulness of the staff further enhanced our experience and solidified our decision to return in the near future. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to indulge in the culinary delights this restaurant has to offer.

Terrible food. Foul smelling lamb kabobs, very greasy. Khoresht fesenjan was awful. The rice was good and the bread was very good. The staff however, are extremely nice, kind and quick.

First time visiting this restaurant and we were not disappointed. From the starters to the mains, everything was delicious. Personally, I liked the decor, with heavy tables and chairs, and quirky decor. No issues with the service, the staff was responsive when called and the food arrived timely. A great experience, will visit again. Food recommendations? Go for the lamb stews (lamb neck was delicious)

Beautiful place and very friendly staff but ,unfortunately, the food was not tasty at all.We ordered a special kabab with rice.The rice tasted stale, and the kebab didn't taste fresh or delicious at all. Unfortunately, it was a bad experience.

I’ve ordered the lamb kebabs and they were succulent perhaps a little salty but was offset with the salad. A little disappointed as the waiter told me he was from Iraq and asked for a tip which made me feel a little awkward.

Excellent place.. food is always excellent.. Can be busy sometimes. Music was too loud as there was a birthday party. Which can be annoying for other people eating Service charge should be optional ! Overall it's a great place to eat authentic halal Persian food.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for 10 years, but over the past two years, the food quality has declined drastically. I ordered from them again a few days ago, and I was absolutely appalled. I got three different stews, and all of them were watery, completely flavourless, and lacked even the slightest hint of salt. The kebab and chicken were rock-hard, tasteless, and undercooked. On top of that, the portion sizes have shrunk significantly while the quality has nosedived. My total bill came to £90, and I felt completely scammed. At first, I wanted to believe that maybe just one dish was bad and give them the benefit of doubt, but no—every single item I ordered was awful. This restaurant has become nothing but a scam. I would strongly advise people to avoid it at all costs. Customers work hard for their money, and this is what they’re being served? If you’re going to raise prices, at least maintain the food quality. At this rate, the place deserves to be shut down.

Food portion large but they give you take away container

Horrible experience. Had plastic in my food. Staff got my order wrong. When asked about plastic they said sorry this soup was a plastic in microwave hence why it has bit of plastic. Will not go there again

This restaurant is arguably the best Persian restaurant, both in and around London. I don’t have to advocate for that too much seeing as they are full of customers everyday. I have been coming here for over 10 years and the food has always been top tier. Not once have I personally had a bad experience or any inconsistency in taste. The decor is just stunning, with gems of Persia all around the walls and hanging from the ceilings. They are busy so it may take some time for your food to arrive but I would say that the wait is worth it.

As a lover of Persian food, having tried Molana, Persian Palace, Berenjak, and Boof, I can confidently say this is the worst Persian restaurant we have ever visited. Even though we had a booking, we had to wait 40 mins to be seated. The service is appalling, the waiter was huffing and puffing as he was taking our order. The manager is rude and was giving the staff a hard time. We had to continuously ask for things, like cutlery, food, the bill. The restaurant is very poorly managed. The food was average, absolutely nothing special about it. The chicken was very chewy and the soup was not edible. The tables and chairs are not fit for purpose, it is hard wood with small rugs on them. No cushioning or comfort, and the seats are all cramped together. You can’t sit for more than 15 mins without your back starting to ache. All in all, I would not recommend Behesht. Although the restaurant is decorated really nice with beautiful frames and pieces dotted around. However, they should focus more on their food quality and friendliness.

My elder brother showed me this place and since after me and my family became a big big fan of kobideh and joje kebab. Extremely juicy and always love to be around if in London specially. Miss you Behesht.

I was tired and starving after work and decided to order food from this place. When I called, they told me to order through Deliveroo. I placed my order and waited for 1.5 hours, only for them to cancel it at 12:30 AM. This was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this place – zero stars from me! 1 food + salad 27 pounds !!!!

Interior design is the best in London. We were greeted with respect and directed to our table. Staff and waiters are attentive and helpful. Their help and communication are very much appreciated. We will surely go back and enjoy our Baghali Polo Ba Mahiche.

I ordered Baghali Polo, but unfortunately, it wasn’t good at all. There was plenty of meat, but it wasn’t like a proper stew—it felt more like plain broth. It lacked flavor, and even the taste of the meat was ruined. This was my first experience, but I didn’t like it. Hope it get better next time

Been visiting the restaurant since 2007, and food is always great. However service levels have decline. What I don’t agree & feel restaurant management seems like a joke when they are putting 15% service charge yet quite obnoxiously expecting customers to tip on top.

I came here a lot over the years and was happy with the food and service, but my last visit the service was terrible, there was a power cut and originally we were sat in a room with light but then the staff kicked us out, and made us sit in a dark room in the dark despite me trying to explain that I get a lot of strain in my eyes,

My partner went there on the 10th Dec, taking her colleagues for a Christmas dinner. Food was ok but the waiter refused to provide tap water for the table, which i believe is a legal requirement. When ordering the bill she was presented another tables bill, for £26 more. When we queried it, the waiter was dismissive, but when he went to check came back with a different bill. There was no apology. There are plenty of good restaurants in Harlesden, so I will never eat here again!!!!

First time visiting . We saw it on Tiktok, so we had to give it a go. Nice family atmosphere, very traditional. Most people in there were ordering the £45.00 platter . We had this between 3 of us, and we were super stuffed . Nice place to check out .

Standard Iranian food. Great prices

I recently visited Behesht for what I had hoped would be a pleasant dining experience, but I was left incredibly disappointed by the service and quality of the food. Having dined here since I was young without any problems, this visit was a shocking departure from the standard I had come to expect. First, the service was terrible. We ordered tabbouleh, but the wrong dish was brought out the dish listed below. When we pointed out the mistake, the staff made us feel as though it was our fault. After waiting, they brought another incorrect dish this time the one listed above tabbouleh on the menu. It took a third attempt, and an explanation directly to the chef, before we finally received what we had originally ordered. This ongoing confusion left us frustrated and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, we had ordered two naan, but only one was brought to the table. Additionally, the tadig, which is usually light and crispy, was thick, tough, and overly crunchy so much so that my best friend choked on it. The whole ordeal was particularly upsetting as it was her birthday and her first time trying Persian food. By this point, the experience had soured so much that we decided to get most of the meal as takeaway, feeling too uneasy to enjoy it there. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. When I got home and tried the salad Olivieh, I found bones and chunks of fat in it. This was shocking and completely off-putting. I hoped this might have been an isolated incident, but a family member told me they had a similar experience just a week ago, which suggests it could be a result of new staff issues. Overall, this visit was a huge disappointment. Behesht has always been a reliable choice for me in the past, but the poor service, lack of care, and decline in food quality were unacceptable. I sincerely hope this feedback leads to improvements, but for now, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Left my rings in its bathroom, called as soon as realised as I had left the restaurant by then. Spoke to a manager, who was shockingly impolite(!?) when I asked if by any chance it had been handed in. I was extremely courteous and respectful with my comms but appalled by the manager’s unpleasant attitude. Basic civility and respect to each other should be mandatory. Please ensure to take care of your personal items and belongings.

Nice spot for meet up with colleagues; good food, good service nothing to complain about. Had a koobidieh and the plate looked the same as it did 15years ago just the change in price which is still reasonable for the portion sizes.

I think reception’s manager just came from Iran and doesn’t know how to welcome customers. I have been there once and I borrowed a power bank from them, when i was leaving I left it on table and he asked me if I hide the power bank in my pocket wich is very rude. I will never go there again.

I am giving them 5 stars solely because, unfortunately, they are currently the only Persian restaurant in London that deserves this rating. Their quality can vary from time to time, but overall, it is still better than other Persian restaurants in London.

Take away order have eaten there before - person on desk made us wait about 15 minutes to pick it up- when it was ready on the table. Served 3 people who came in after us before dealing with us. When we eat in service is normally very good. Food is still good but wasn’t warm by the time we got it home.

I have been eating here for many many years never again! I chose Khoresh with eggplant and lamb . Soon as it was served it looked like soup not thick at all . Had a very thick slice of eggplant and only two pieces of lamb . I called the waiter and asked to change it . He then called the manager and asked me what is the problem and I politely asked if I could change because it look likes soup he refused He explained it’s not hygienic to return to the kitchen i said I have not touched it . He still refused and said take it home as a takeaway and order another meal but you won’t get a refund . Only five minutes before that my husband changed his sabzi polo rice to plain white basmati rice which was aloud . The quality of food has gone down massively even the white basmati rice is overcooked and totally tasteless , the khouresh with eggplant did not have the rich tomotoe sauce it should be , it looked like it was sitting in soup very watery . No more I will never return again To the manager who refused to change my dish is obviously not a good manager and not looking after his customers haly bad shood ! You are loosing more customers that’s why the restaurant was practically empty This restaurant use to be so so busy but not anymore.

I regret coming to these absolute scammers! First of all, i was so thirsty and when i asked for tap water they said they dont serve it so i had to buy a big glass bottle for £6! This made me furious and when the food came, i was dissapointed. The lamb had no flavour, the chicken was unedible, as hard as a rock, and the rice felt like it was uncooked. Going back to beverages, they charged me £3 for a minature coca cola can and i tried to stand up but i was blocked by the surronding tables. The service was very poor and the price was £46 without service fee. I also politely asked if they can remove the service charge but the horrible manager just kicked me out nearly pushing me out of the store. I recommend to never come here. (The service charge was almost £30!)

Loved the vibe of this place. It was very traditional Persian and felt like being transported in a different realm, with the cozy decor and ambiance. Food was very good. Loved the baba ganoush and kababs. Service was good and friendly. Portion size was very generous
