Four of us visited this restaurant for the first time on Thursday. We had a delicious 3 course meal, we all tried different things. The ambience was good, the restaurant was nice and warm on a very cold evening and we all agreed that we would return again. My only small gripe is that the men were sitting on wooden chairs that hurt their backs after a while, I was very comfortable on my padded chair!

Fantastic food. Better than anywhere you’ve eaten before. I had a beautiful fish cake started followed by pork belly. It was absolutely beautiful. Delicious

Absolutely terrific !!! Every mouthful was a joy … I can safely say it was the best meal I’ve ever had …. Anywhere . The staff were friendly and the service good . Reasonably priced at £35/ head for a three course meal ( that I would’ve happily paid more for) The night I went was a little noisy as it’s Christmas party season , But overall I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough !

Fabulous food and atmosphere. We all absolutely loved our food. We had scallops, sea bream, pork belly, duck followed by lovely desserts. Great price. Attentive service. Not rushed. We will definitely be back .

We were not expecting such a great meal. All 4 of us really enjoyed all courses. Excellent wine options available too. It doesn’t look amazing from the outside, to be honest, but the quality of the food and service was great.

Nice cosy restaurant with very good service and excellent food. Decent wine and a fixed price but good selection if chosen.

Had yet another wonderful dining experience at Beef n Berry last night. The food is visually beautiful and delicious. Whatever your selection from the menu, you know it’s going to be 5*. The staff are courteous and efficient, working hard to make everyone’s evening the best it can be. Thank you much and see you again soon!

The ambience in the bistro is excellent - a wonderful mix of formal and informal. We had a very loud table next to us so a table for 2 by the bar would probably have been better. The food was unbelievably good, the service second to none and we will definitely be back, hopefully with friends, and the girlies for lunches. Many thanks

Good quality food cooked properly and served with courtesy and a smile. Prices are reasonable (£25 for 2 courses and £30 for 3). Total bill for four people £181 including two bottles of wine.

Fabulous night out here. The food was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection from starters through to puddings. The staff are great. Very nice atmosphere all round. This was our second time here and we will definitely be returning.

The restaurant has a warm atmosphere and the food and service cannot be praised enough. The menu is varied and interesting - just a little bit different. Well worth a Michelin star but then the prices would quadruple and at the moment they are very reasonable for a three course meal of this standard. Highly recommend this restaurant anc it is just as good at lunchtime as it is in an evening

So glad you came back - we really missed you. Had a wonderful dinner last night. The warm goats cheese starter was really exceptional, and the pork belly succulent. We will be back soon.

Beautiful fresh tasting food at a great price on the lunchtime meal deal. Good service too. We will definitely return and would recommend.

First meal last night, absolutely delicious, but didn’t expect anything less from this awesome couple whose culinary expertise we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing for many years when they ran Chestergate Bistro.

Came for dinner. I haven't had food of this superb quality for a long time. Starters, mains and dessert all had the wow factor. We shall definitely be returning.

We had a great lunch here, good value and plenty of choice. The style and quality of the food is as you’d expect from the Chestergate Bistro chef, and those of us who remember the lunches there will be pleased to see them back here at their new restaurant. We can’t wait to try out the evening menus.

Overall great food and lovely staff. Food looked very appetising and it was very tasty. I had the surf and turf for starters and omg the pork belly literally melted in my mouth… mains was the wild sea-bass filet and the sauce was absolutely gorgeous. My boyfriend had the halloumi fries for starters which was quite nice and mains he got the 48hr Beef n Berry ribs (I forgot the name of it) and it was delicious, he really could not wait to eat it as soon as the food arrived. Will definitely be going again.

We have booked the table for 6pm, for 4 people. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cosy. The food was delicious. We didn't have to wait for the food long, which is blessing when you going out for dinner with your kids. the staff was very nice and helpful.
