Staff member was rude, abrupt and PURPOSEFULLY less than helpful. Asked if coffee was in meal she look at me less than bothered and told me to go the fridge and read it (written in smallish print) when she could just say a simple yes or no even if she doesnt want to smile at least answer a question you obviously know the answer to when asked nicely. Clearly miserable. First and last time ive ever been in a baynes. Ill stick to greggs

Half 12 and empty shelves despite shop being empty. When I asked a staff member if they could make me up a roll I was told there was none left. Some serious supply issues if true or alternatively, lazy staff. Baynes have refused to find an alternative option to cater for vegetarians or vegans with their breakfast roll options. This will be my last visit.

Their Scotch pies are the best. Served nice and hot with warm, friendly service. Interior was spotlessly clean and plenty of product availability

How refreshing being served by a young girl who was so polite and helpful I was told would have to wait 5min for a toastie melt as machine was just put on which I was happy to wait and offered another cuppa for waiting ..nice to feel our custom was valued ..seemed s happy place to work lovely food nice snd clean would love to go back but was on way back from holiday keep up the good work

Great little place this. So clean with friendly staff who work together as a team. I had a real good tasty coffee with bacon on a fresh roll really good and the chicken and steak pies are lovey with plenty in them. They blow Gregg’s out of the water.

Great rolls and cakes but some staff members can't make or cant be bothered to stir a mocha.

Pretty good for a quick bite to eat. Kind of reminds me of a Gregg's. They do nice tasting coffee, they had plenty staff serving and the cakes were nice with a good selection. Would use them again. Free parking outside.

I was served by an efficient gentleman who i think was named micheal. I was greeted with a smile and asked for my order. Once I had given my order it was repeated back to me and as soon as I confirmed he was off as quick as a flash collecting all the elements of my order. While my coffee was still filling he began serving the lady behind me. As soon as my cup was ready he placed a lid and handed it over wishing me a good day. As someone who works in customer service I would give micheal 10/10 for a pleasant efficient interaction and I look forward to my next breakfast roll served by him.

One off the best for parking and the food as good as usual

Thank you for a lovely lunch. Christmas pastry and mince pies and latte. Staff were so welcoming and Christmas decorations lovely. Love the fire place with stockings. Thanks for making us so welcome.

So much better than Greggs. I hope even more baynes stores open and take over. More stores in Edinburgh and West Lothian please. 😀
