BatidaBar in Weymouth and Portland

Never have I ever actually frequented this establishment, I have however noticed the painted rock nearby and couldn't help but leave a five star review for such beauty and bravery eminating from this business.

Nice enough small dj oriented bar in Weymouth which bar / pub wise is not amazing. Beer range wasnt the best either tbf

Wasn't allowed in due to the bouncer who had issues thinking for himself, I wasnt vaccinated and didn't have track and trace (I'm not old enough to have the vax) he could barely string a sentence together let alone argue why I should get the app let alone why I shouldn't be allowed in. Very disappointing it looked cool in there.

Visited quite a few times whilst on holiday and well looked after by Shane. Each cocktail we had was tremendous : pina colada / gnarley marley / strawberry daquiri and a lovely Escobar tequila based drink . Around 30 cocktails to choose from, each lovingly made by Shane. We do like our cocktails and these stand up to the very best even the famous Alchemists in Liverpool and Brum, which is saying something !

Sadly on our second visit we ordered 2 rum and cokes to find that we had fruit flies in both drinks, was given a refund but still left feeling sick.

Love it here with its great cocktails and great atmosphere, got served quickly . I love the Saturday night DJ they have in here , he plays some fab dance music , that you can’t help dancing too .. will return again and again xx

Quirky little bar. Enjoyed it here, drinks are a bit pricey but to be expected. Staff very friendly and bubbly.

Whilst on holiday we had a date night and decided to go for cocktails here as I’d seen it on someone’s instagram. Really nice place, loved how it looks and the cocktails were good quality. You could really tell that the cocktails were made with passion and not just generic cocktails. Fresh fruit in all the cocktails and really reasonably priced. Thank you!

Good atmosphere, good variety of drinks and the bar staff are friendly.

This is a small place, with a great atmosphere. There is a nice range of drink choices, served to you by friendly servers. During my time here, the security was very good at getting people out who was sleeping, or kicking off.

Brilliant cocktail bar, a real pleasure drinking in there. They have a nice selection of cocktails and bar staff are efficient and knowledgeable. They have an upstairs bar that can be booked out for functions and parties etc. Seating was comfortable and sufficient.

Only because 10 of us girls went into get cocktails over Xmas stood in line 2 people serving to be told when my friend was next in the line to go to other side as he was serving one section so I saw my friend being served so I went to her to order mine he picked up to plastic bottles and flipped them over to go into the container bit I got a face full of this sticky stuff I said to this young lad you have just got me in my face with that He SAID GET OUT SO ALL 10 OF US LEFT WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN FELT AWFUL NOT GOOD FOR PEOPLE TO BE TREATED THIS WAY

Fabulous Friday night before Xmas , this bar has got it right , great bar staff, brilliant atmosphere, fabulous DJ who plays the best dance music , a few more bars in Weymouth could take a few pointers .. would recommend and will return xxx

What a long wait for two cocktails. There was only about 7 of us there but with one bar person and with everyone getting cocktails the wait for a drink was far too long. That’s my only complaint. The place is very nice and the cocktails very good.

I like this bar , the staff are great and the atmosphere is fab, always busy , the owners have created a great vibe which I like , bar staff are friendly and we ordered two cocktails which were properly made and were great , would recommend this bar xxx

Ok, nice cocktails, a bit pricey but worth a visit. To be fair it was our first stop of the evening so probably much busier later.

Best bar ive ever been to in weymouth (and on a wednesday night) there was a guy playing guitar and singing, the drinks were incredible and even had some of the street food. WoW. Keep doing what your doing

Was visiting weymouth for a few days and decided to stop in for lunch! I had the calamari and fully loaded sweet potato fries, it was amazing! I also had a few escobar’s as well (like an espresso martini) it was incredible, the bar staff know what they are doing! The lady that served me was called denni. the best cocktail bar in Dorset to my standards! Would definitely recommend!

Waited over an hour for our food, burgers weren’t cooked they were still cold inside! served with no salad or cheese.

My friends booked the top floor for a birthday bash and it was great , we had plenty of room to sit and chat while we could here the music down stairs and it wasn’t deafening to us , cocktails had already been ordered and it came in a tin tea pot with tin mugs which I loved , I always like the atmosphere here and the bar staff are amazing , they know there craft and are great cocktail shakers , although I was sad to here that two of them are leaving and moving elsewhere , great place with a great atmosphere, would highly recommended xxx

This is a great little bar. We thought we'd pop in because we fancied some cocktails and it looked a cool place. We chose well, I had the Rose and Lychee Mojito and a few Fresh Starts which were all delicious. The thing that made it stand out for us was that it was such a nice vibe, the staff were spot on and the music was brilliant. Would definitely go back and next time, if the food is good too, I'll be writing a five star review.

Came here with friends just for a couple of drinks which where amazing and very well made by a guy wierdly called bean. We then noticed the food menu so thought we would give it a go, hands down the best popcorn chicken i have ever eaten, squid cooked to perfection and the loaded nachos had everything you could think of. Will definetely be coming here again

Great place great atmosphere and fab cocktails - one of our favourite places in Weymouth.

We have just spent the weekend in Weymouth and found ourselves magnetically drawn back to the Batida bar every day as we love cocktails and these guys know how to make a good one.

Quirky little bar restaurant, something different for Weymouth, nice pleasant decor, on 2 floors ,Street food menu , cocktails , beers cider etc , nice friendly staff , finished to a high standard

Only the three stars because of lack of description on menu. Jerk chicken with sticky rice and peas plus chilli cabbage was the menu. Sticky rice was undercooked chewy rice. The peas were dried out garden peas not black eyed peas which is normally served with jerk. The jerk chicken was 3 chicken breast goujons instead of the expected chicken pieces but to give credit where credit is due was exceptionally good. Great cocktail and cracking beer. When I return I will check with the kitchen to get the lowdown on how they are presenting any chosen dish.
