Served raw chicken, I was offered another meal but I completely lost my appetite

The worst service i’ve ever had in a restaurant.

We truly had a great time at this Baron 84. Faribah was our waitress and she was extremely helpful. My wife has a few dietary restrictions and they were very accommodating. The food was very tasty and portions are very big, it is great value for money. But best of all the atmosphere is fantastic and you are transported to Persia. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for good Persian food.

Food was very delicious and staff were polite. I recommend this restaurant if you want to feel the tasete of persian food.

I had tried the koobideh a while ago and I found the quality disappointing. Went back this week and I was amazed by the excellent food and service. Definitely recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of bringing my international colleagues to this Persian restaurant, and I couldn’t be more proud to showcase the richness of Persian cuisine. The kebabs were tender and juicy, the rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the stews were packed with flavor. The attention to detail in both the food and the presentation was impressive, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. My colleagues were just as impressed and loved the experience. If you want to experience authentic Persian food at its finest, I highly recommend this place!

If I could, I would give 0 stars! Absolutely disgusting the way the woman with overfilled lips and blonde hair that claims to be the “owner”, speaks to costumers, such a patronising tone and stinky attitude. Booked a table for 7:30, 4 adult and 3 kids, all the adults ordered food and the kids wanted some nuggets on the way, which they ended up eating as we sat down, and this woman comes up telling us in the worst manner possible, that it is not allowed, we proceeded to then apologise and just explain but the rudeness just kept going. After she put the food in plates, again, rudely, I ask her politely to speak to us in a better way and again the rudeness couldn’t be any worse and she was raising her voice. The vibe during the whole meal was disgusting and ruined. If you want to claim yourself as “owner of this business”, learn how to treat your costumers, fix your attitude.

Just carefully look at the bad reviews with this place and you will understand how awful the management is. Attitude, attitude and attitude. Treated with no respect. Take ur money elsewhere!! The owner needs to fire this management or it will do downhill! Deserves 0.

From the dark Qorme Sabzi you can tell how delicious and well cooked it is😅 Absolutely happy with the service as well. Cozy spot and wonderful and lovely staff. Please add Kalam Polo shirazi to your menu as well:)

Today is sunday and i have tried the new kobedah and it was very delicious and also Arvin and Saaed were super friendly with me

The restaurant has excellent food, delicious and very clean. We ordered about 5 different dishes, all of them delicious. The staff are very friendly in dealing with us and it is worth visiting again.

Really fantastic food - the flavours are amazing and the portions are huge (we saw lots of people taking their leftovers home). This was our second time there and I ordered the same starter as the first time (mirza ghasemi) because it was just so good, but really everything we ate both times was fantastic. Service is also really friendly and attentive.

You need to reduce salt in your dishes

This is a great place. Delicious, tangy ghormeh sabzi, crispy-edged naan, and perfect sharp doogh. Kind, attentive service and very well-priced. The place deserves to be packed!

Food was super delicious and fresh. The waitress Fariba was very pleasant and gave us a brief description of all the food served. This was the first time we visited this restaurant and would definitely recommend it.

Persian restaurant on busy, busy Bold Street. Warm greeting, cool decor and comfy seating. Good menu and staff asked if we needed any help with choosing. We had kebabs with bread made on the premises and a "stew" with saffron rice. Both excellent. Water brought out without having to ask and a bottle of good red at a very reasonable price. I recommend.

Amazing food, the flavours were unreal and the portion sizes very generous. The staff were lovely and attentive. Will definitely be back!

The service was very great, the waitress was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was beautiful, the bathroom also was very clean and hygiene. The main course was not as we expected from an Iranian cuisine, the rice didn't cook well and kebab was spicy which it shouldn't be. We didn't try other dishes, it might be worthy to try them. Frankly speaking, it is one of the tastiest Iranian restaurants I have tried in Liverpool, and I would like to thank Miss Tulin for her good treatment, manners, and welcome. I tried the chelo kebab soltani dish and the chelo kebab vaziri dish. Honestly, both dishes are 10/10.

10/10 amazing food and amazing staff, even my mum and dad loved it. :) I highly recommend coming here. :) The staff was friendly too!

There are plenty of options in the city centre, we were spoiled for choice during our weekend visit. We were very pleased with this decision. The food was delicious! Potions good too, and can’t fault the atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Absolutely lovely food and fantastic service. As soon as we walked in the food smells were amazing, and the fresh Persian naan bread being made to order was stunning. All the staff were friendly and helpful offering some of the best customer service we’ve experienced in Liverpool. Filling, quality ingredients and reasonably priced for the service, food and drink. Highly recommend, and looking forward to our next visit.

Super welcome and great food. I stepped in as a Distress Purchase because most other restaurants were closing. They greeted me like family and I felt instantly welcome and relaxed. Hummus was world class and the main dish was outstanding as well as being very generous portion - I couldn’t finish it. Fariba who looked after me was a delight!

Absolutely beautiful! It was lovely to see the food being cooked. The food was so fresh and absolutely delicious. Nothing was too much trouble either. Most attentive waiter. We just went in on a whim, we didn't regret it. The picture, really doesn't do the food justice.

Amazing Food Excellent customer service Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Complained about undercooked/raw chicken which you apologised for, but instead of making a brand new dish you came back with the same meat that had just been put back on to cook for longer. We complained about this at the end but got a poor justification about it being “Persian chicken” and so it would typically dry out if recooked again, which made no sense.

I ordered Soltani and it tasted like heaven! The restaurant’s atmosphere was good and the staff were friendly. I highly recommend this place 🌷

I had a great experience with my family in Baron. We got different typs of main course and starters. As a Iranian person, I was embitious and I enjoyed the whole moments during the night time. Great food and great services. Really recomended.

Lovely restaurant with pleasant staff but my partner and I felt that the meal was a little lacklustre. On a street full of eateries, many of which Turkish and offering similar menus, I feel that they need to up their game a little. We ordered a shared starter which consisted of 5 dips for £11, all of which relatively similar in taste, and a chicken kebab which seemed to lack in flavour and succulence compared to one’s ordered in Turkish establishments. To be fair it was our first time eating Persian, maybe just not for us.

I went with family on a Birthday meal and was astonished with the attitude of waiters. I am sorry to say as an Iranian who wears a hijab I felt very much ignored and was left to sit there without having any attention of waiters to clear the table when meal had been finished. Waiters went round all tables to check on guest apart from our table where I had to somehow get the attention of them to come over. It felt like as if we did not exist in the restaurant and if we had sat there for hours they would not come over. I as an Iranian hijabi am not for or against any political activities that is happening in Iran and respect everyone with or without headscarf.. I too feel it is important for guest at any restaurant don’t feel ignored or judged just because someone wears a hijab does not mean they agree with what it is happening back in Iran. I feel very much disrespected at this restaurant and would never go back again but I hope your attitude does not make anyone else feel that they can’t return to the restaurant. I hope the restaurant manager takes time to talk to their staff as I could have gone to any other restaurant and would be treated with more respect than what I have received in service here. I felt very much discriminated and judged against wearing a hijab. I had previously been in this restaurant several times and never been treated in this way but this time I was shocked at the way I was treated this time.

The mixed grill with kofta and joja chicken was enjoyable; the kofta was light and flavorful, though the joja chicken was a bit dry. The eggplant stew with meat was very tasty but a bit heavy due to the oil. Overall, the food was good, and we would recommend it. We'll definitely come back!

I've been wanting to eat here for a long while because theplace looks amazing. The food here was truly delicious and special, great flavour and very affordable. It has an authentic feel to it and you get a good portions. Our service by Sandy & Saeed was great. Very polite and thoughtful people going the extra mile to offer a great service.

Top restaurant in Liverpool and I can only recommend everyone to visit it.

Over priced in my opinion, one kebab and a plate full of rice. The meat wasn’t good quality, very chewy. I also don’t like my bill to automatically include a service charge, I will tip if I think it’s warranted but I wouldn’t have tipped on this occasion. There was also an additional drink on my bill which I did not notice until after leaving. Not for me this place.

We always come here for the food because it’s amazing especially the barberry rice and kashk e Badamjaan. Everytime we’ve come here Mobin has been very welcoming and always seen to our needs!

The lamb from the baron special is incredible, order this if you have space for it, the starter dips are the best I’ve found in Liverpool and the service is very friendly, Mahi and Mobin were our servers they were great

I came last Saturday and first of all was given rice instead of chips despite making it clear that I wanted chips and really don’t like rice when ordering. I told them they’d given me the wrong order so they apologised and gave me some “chips” but the chips were very skinny pale French fries. For £17.99 the lamb kebab torsh was not good value for money as there was only a few pieces of lamb and they were very chewy and tough. It was very hard. The picture of the kebab on the menu showed two skewers and I was only given one. Saying that, I wouldn’t have eaten a second skewer anyway because the meat was so tough and really difficult to eat.
